Abstract

The purpose of this research is to describe the school's strategy for teaching social studies subjects through Social Studies Studies (SKIS). Multicultural Education is an effort to integrate into one multicultural understanding of the many diversity in Indonesia. An education based on instilling multicultural values will help students in each school understand the richness of culture and appreciate differences in every respect, starting from differences in ethnicity, religion, race, ethnicity, and so on. This research method uses a descriptive qualitative method. Sources of data obtained from observation, interview, and, documentation. The informants in this study were the deputy head of the curriculum, the social studies teacher, and several students majoring in social studies. The results of the study show that the multicultural education strategy is carried out not only through social studies subjects but also using the Social Science Study Study (SKIS) strategy. Implementation of the SKIS method by visiting several historical tourist attractions related to social studies including the Trowulan Mojokerto Temple, an area of the Hindu community in Banyuwangi, along with historical sites that contain culture. The influence of SKIS activities makes students happy and able to understand directly based on experience with objects of the nation's cultures.

Abstract

Tujuan penelitian ini ialah untuk menjelaskan strategi kepala sekolah dalam membangun dan mengembangkan lembaga pendidikan RA Baitur Rohim sehingga berhasil menghasilkan prestasi. Pada era modern ini telah banyak lembaga pendidikan baru yang muncul dan menawarkan layanan pendidikan yang terbaik. Lembaga pendidikan telah banyak melakukan inovasi pendidikan dengan memanfaatkan kemampuan kepemimpinan kepala sekolah dan perkembangan teknologi tidak terkecuali lembaga pendidikan anak usia dini. RA Baitur Rohim merupakan lembaga baru pada tingkat pendidikan anak usia dini yang telah berkembang menjadi lembaga pendidikan berkualitas dan diminati masyarakat. Pendekatan penelitian yang digunakan ialah pendekatan kualitatif dengan metode studi kasus. Adapun sumber data diperoleh melalui observasi, wawancara dan dokumentasi. Informannya ialah kepala sekolah RA Baitur Rohim, guru, orang tua dan masyarakat sekitar. Hasil penelitian yang diperoleh ialah strategi kepala RA Baitur Rohim dalam membangun dan mengembangkan lembaga pendidikan ialah melalui Kerjasama denga berbagai pihak, memenuhi dan melengkapi fasilitas yang diperlukan, meningkatkan kualitas SDM, mendesain kurikulum dan metode pembelajaran. Hasil dari strategi yang diterapkan kepala sekolah berimplikasi positif dengan meningkatnya jumlah peserta didik dari tahun ke tahun, menghasilkan prestasi belajar dalam ajang perlombaan, perkembangan karakter anak usia dini yang baik sesuai ajaran agama dan norma masyarakat, serta menjadi tujuan utama masyarakat sekitar dalam menyekolahkan anaknya.

Abstract

The purpose of this study is to explain the storytelling method in improving language skills and at the same time instilling character values in children. Character issues in the younger generation are still often encountered both in society and through the news on social media. One solution is to include character values from an early age in kindergarten learning by applying the storytelling method. By taking inspirational stories from characters that contain good character values, children can learn both language skills and character values. The research method used was the Classroom Action Research (CAR) method. Analysis and presentation of data used a qualitative descriptive method. The data were collected through observation, interviews, and documentation. The result of the study showed that the use of storytelling methods in early childhood to improve language and instill character values had a significant effect. The ratio of the pre-test and post-test results showed a significant improvement, it was from 61% to 96%. Character changes in a positive direction appeared such as being honest, responsible, independent, polite, and following parental orders. Furthermore, children were also motivated to learn in improving their language skills such as speaking, listening, reading, and writing which then affected the child's formal language. Thus, the use of the storytelling method in the learning process not only improved language skills but also affected the child's character because presenting true stories from human life provides a good and ideal example for children to instill good character in themselves.

Abstract

This study discusses the implementation of the Pancasila Student Profile Strengthening Project (P5) through curriculum management at SMA Negeri 1 Kandat to improve students' competency and Pancasila character formation. P5 is part of the Independent Curriculum which aims to link educational theory with real-world situations. Through a qualitative approach with a case study type, this study explores the strategies for planning, organizing, implementing, and evaluating the implementation of the Independent Learning curriculum. Data was collected through interviews, observations, and documentation. The results showed that P5-based character formation succeeded in creating space for students to develop character and improve skills in accordance with Pancasila values. The P5 project encouraged collaboration between teachers and increased student involvement in the learning process. In conclusion, this curriculum management strategy contributed to the development of independent curriculum management in project-based high schools and succeeded in instilling the character of Pancasila student profiles.

Abstract

Tujuan penelitian ini untuk mendeskripsikan implemetasi strategi pendidikan multicultural di SDI NU Pare yang menggunakan pendekatan kearifan local dalam prosesnya. Melalui penerapan nilai-nilai pendidikan multikultural diharapkan siswa atau peserta didik mampu mengoptimalkan pola pikir dan pengetahuannya pada nila-nilai karakter berbasis multikultural serta akhlak sehingga terwujud dalam perilaku Multikulturalisme di dalam masyarakat. Metode penelitian menggunakan pendekatan deskriptif kualitatif yang menggambarkan secara rinci dan mendalam objek yang sedang dibahas. Hasil penelitian menunujukkan implemetasi pendidikan multicultural berjalan dengan baik sesuai dengan yang direncanakan. Diantara strategi implementasinya membangun dan menanamkan sikap gotong royong, toleransi, Bersatu dalam keragaman dan saling menghormati serta tenggang rasa, dan membangun komunikasi lintas budaya. Selain strategi itu, SDI NU Pare menggunakan strategi komunikasi Bahasa local atau Bahasa jawa pada saat di sekolah di hari-hari tertentu. Tujuannya untuk mengenalkan budaya local setempat serta melestarikannya melalui komunikasi formal. Implementasi pendidikan multicultural dari hasil penelitian diharapkan dilakukan oleh lembaga pendidikan lain serta dikembangkan lebih lanjut agar nilai karakter berbasis multicultural dapat tertanam dengan baik pada peserta didik.

Abstract

A technology is essentially created to make human life easier and more comfortable. There is almost no area of ??human life that is free from its use, either directly or indirectly. This is also a result of the very rapid development of technology. Technology was created to facilitate every human activity. Born from human thoughts that try to facilitate their activities which are then applied in everyday life, one of which is in the teaching and learning process in schools. Thus in the learning process, technology can be used as a learning resource. Today, technology products have become a daily necessity in carrying out life activities. The use of cellphones and internet is not something strange or new anymore. Mobile is an electronic telecommunication device which has basic capabilities conventionally which is easy to carry and does not need to be connected to a telephone network using a cable. Mobile has a function to receive calls or SMS (short messages), cellphones can also function as a means of tracing, recording all activities, as a means of information and can even be used to explore the world of the internet depending on the features of the cellphone.

Abstract

This study aims to find out how the influence of role-playing center learning methods on fine motor and Arabic vocabulary development in early childhood in PAUD Sunan Ampel Rejomulyo Kediri. This research is a type of qualitative research that is descriptive. The data collection techniques used are interviews, observations, and documentation. The results showed that the learning method of the role-playing center starts from learning planning, then how the influence of the role-playing center learning method on the development of the role-playing center. Producing a good impact on early childhood, namely early childhood in PAUD Sunan Ampel becomes more active, because in this learning method children will learn while playing roles. This has an influence on the child's fine motor and vocabulary development. Because in a variegated play will help stimulate the child to be active, one of which is in coordinating the movements of his hands.

Abstract

Tujuan penelitian ini untuk mendeskripsikan implementasi pendidikan karakter berbasisPancasila dan multicultural melalui mata pelajaran PKn SMPN 03 Kediri. Pendidikanpancasila di SMPN 3 Kediri secara sepintas tercermin dalam visi sekolah yang berprofilpancasila. Metode penelitian yang digunakan ialah metode kualitatif deskriptif. Hasilpenelitian menunjukkan implementasi pendidikan Kewarganegaraan berbasis pancasiladibagi menjadi tige berdasarkan tingkatan kelas. Pada kelas 7, pendidikan PKn lebihbanyak mengenalkan pendidikan kenegaraan, Pancasila, dan pendidikan multiculturalsecara keseluruhan. Selanjutnya pada kelas 8, pendidikan PKn difokuskan untuk lebihbanyak belajar praktek di masyarakat, baik dalam bentuk simulasi kecil atau langsungberkecimpung ke dunia masyarakat dengan berbagai bentuk dan varian. Berikutnya padakelas 9, pendidikan PKn lebih banyak terkonsentrasi pada pematangan pembentukankarakter berprofil Pancasila. Pengaruh pendidikan multicultural dalam PKn menjadimudah bagi siswa dalam memahami budaya dan sifat teman serta mengetahui carapenyelesaian konflik di masyarakat. Tujuannya menjadikan hubungan antar teman danmasyarakat bisa semakin rukun meskipun dengan teman yang berbeda agama serta dapatmenyelesaikan masalah dengan teman tanpa emosi.

Abstract

The aim of this research is to investigate the influence of drum band extracurricular learning on self-confidence and responsibility among early childhood learners. The research methodology adopts a qualitative approach, specifically a Case Study design. Descriptive data is obtained through interviews, observations, and documentation involving the school principal, two teacher assistants, two coaches, and parents of students from TK Bhayangkari 87 Mojosari. Data analysis involves data reduction, data presentation, and drawing conclusions. The findings reveal that the coaching model utilized direct instructional methods, where coaches demonstrated and provided examples to the children. The drill method, involving repetition, was also employed. Initially, the coach introduced the instruments to the children and allocated them into groups based on the drum band instruments. The evaluation process involved addressing issues raised during each meeting. Additionally, coaches optimized learning through the use of rewards and punishments. The impact of the drum band extracurricular at TK Bhayangkari 87 Mojosari includes fostering self-confidence, independence, socialization skills, and responsibility among the children. These results highlight the effectiveness of the learning strategies employed in the extracurricular program in enhancing holistic development among early childhood learners.

Abstract

Abstract: The purpose of this study is to describe the process of managing educational facilities and infrastructure to improve the quality of education in elementary schools. Facilities and infrastructure play one of the most important roles in the education element. The existence of complete facilities and infrastructure will help improve the quality of learning. The method used in this research is the descriptive qualitative research method. Sources of data obtained through observation, interviews, and documentation. Interview informants included school principals, teachers of facilities and infrastructure, and subject teachers. The results of the study are that the school facilities and infrastructure are well managed. Management includes planning, procurement, use, inventory, write-off, and control. The management process is going well. As a result, stakeholders feel satisfied and even produce achievements. Abstrak: Tujuan penelitian ini mendeskripsikan proses manajemen sarana dan prasarana pendidikan dalam meningkatkan kualitas pendidikan di sekolah dasar. Sarana dan prasarana memainkan salah satu peran terpenting pada unsur pendidikan. Keberadaan sarana dan prasarana yang lengkap akan mampu membantu meningkatkan kualitas pembelajaran. Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini metode penelitian kualitatif deskriptif. Sumber data didapatkan melalui metode observasi, wawancara dan dokumentasi. Informan wawancara diantaranya kepala sekolah, guru bagian sarana dan prasarana, dan guru mata pelajaran. Hasil penelitian ialah keadaan sarana dan prasarana sekolah dikelola dengan baik. Pengelolaan meliputi perencanaan, pengadaan, penggunaan, inventarisasi, penghapusan, dan pengawasan. Proses manajemen berjalan dengan baik. Hasilnya stakeholder merasa puas dan bahkan juga menghasilkan prestasi.
