Abstract

Sistem Manajemen Kompetensi Keahlian Teknik Kendaraan Ringan merupakan sebuah platform yang dirancang untuk mengelola, mengukur, dan meningkatkan kompetensi individu di bidang teknik kendaraan ringan. Sistem ini bertujuan untuk mempermudah proses identifikasi kebutuhan pelatihan, penilaian kompetensi, serta pemetaan kemampuan sesuai standar industri. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif deskriptif, dengan peneliti sebagai instrumen kunci dan data dikumpulkan melalui wawancara, observasi, serta studi dokumentasi. Analisis data dilakukan menggunakan model interaktif Miles dan Huberman yang mencakup tahap pengumpulan, reduksi, penyajian, serta penarikan kesimpulan, dengan keabsahan data dijaga melalui triangulasi metode dan sumber. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa sistem ini dapat meningkatkan efisiensi pengelolaan data kompetensi, mempercepat proses penilaian, dan memberikan rekomendasi pelatihan yang relevan. Dengan demikian, sistem ini menjadi solusi strategis untuk mendukung pengembangan sumber daya manusia di bidang teknik kendaraan ringan secara berkelanjutan.

Abstract

The integration of technology in English Language Teaching (ELT) has emerged as a critical component of modern education, offering innovative tools to enhance learning experiences. This study aimed to explore the role of technology in ELT by examining teachers' digital competencies through a systematic review of 45 peer-reviewed articles published in the last decade. The research identifies key technologies utilized in ELT, such as online learning platforms, language learning applications, and interactive media, highlighting their advantages and challenges. The findings reveal significant variations in teachers' digital competencies, categorized as high, moderate, or low, with the majority requiring additional training to utilize digital tools effectively. Factors influencing technology adoption, including institutional support and teachers' attitudes, were also analyzed. However, the study underscores gaps in the literature, such as the absence of standardized frameworks for assessing digital competencies, limited research on the long-term impact of technology on learning outcomes, and insufficient attention to challenges faced by educators in developing countries. These findings emphasize the need for targeted professional development programs and robust infrastructure to bridge the digital competency gap. While advancing scientific knowledge on technology integration in ELT, the study acknowledges limitations related to geographic focus and reliance on secondary data. Future research should expand to diverse contexts and explore emerging technologies to enhance ELT practices globally.

Abstract

The rapid advancement of the Fourth Industrial Revolution has introduced significant challenges in the educational sector, particularly in integrating Artificial Intelligence (AI) into teaching and learning processes. This community service program aimed to enhance the competencies of teachers at SD Laboratorium Universitas Negeri Malang (UM) in developing teaching modules based on Project-Based Learning (PjBL) integrated with AI tools, aligning with the principles of the Kurikulum Merdeka. The program encompassed a needs assessment, coordination with school leadership, preparation of training materials, and the implementation of direct training sessions focusing on the use of AI tools such as ChatGPT, Magic School, and Jenni AI in designing PjBL modules. Evaluation through questionnaires indicated a significant improvement in teachers' understanding and ability to integrate AI into their teaching modules. As a result, teachers successfully developed comprehensive PjBL-based teaching modules incorporating AI, which are expected to enhance the quality of education and foster 21st-century skills among students.

Abstract

This study explores the role of the Public Relations (PR) division at SMK Negeri 6 Malang City in strengthening collaboration with the industrial sector to ensure that graduates possess competencies aligned with labor market demands. The primary issue addressed is how PR can bridge the gap between vocational education and industry requirements through strategic communication and partnership programs. The purpose of this research is to identify the strategies employed by the PR division in establishing and maintaining industrial partnerships, as well as to understand the challenges encountered. The study adopts a qualitative approach utilizing in-depth interviews, observations, and document analysis. The findings indicate that programs such as industrial classes and job fairs significantly contribute to enhancing students’ technical skills and soft skills required in the workplace. Despite facing resource limitations and differing expectations between institutions and industries, the established collaborations have had a positive impact providing students with valuable practical experiences and improving the school’s reputation in the broader community. In conclusion, the development of sustainable industrial partnerships is a crucial factor in increasing the relevance of vocational education and ensuring graduates' employability.

Abstract

Desa Jatirejoyoso menghadapi tantangan besar dalam pengelolaan limbah organik akibat pertumbuhan aktivitas pertanian dan jumlah penduduk yang meningkat. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengevaluasi efektivitas teknologi Waste Processing Machine dalam meningkatkan efisiensi pengomposan, serta menilai dampak ekonomis dan partisipasi masyarakat. Metode yang digunakan meliputi instalasi mesin, pelatihan masyarakat, dan pengumpulan data melalui observasi dan wawancara. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa teknologi ini meningkatkan volume pengolahan limbah dari 30% menjadi 60% dan memperbaiki kualitas kompos dengan kadar nutrisi yang lebih tinggi. Secara ekonomi, biaya operasional menurun 40%, volume kompos meningkat 140%, dan pendapatan dari penjualan kompos meningkat 140%. Penerapan teknologi ini juga meningkatkan kesadaran dan partisipasi masyarakat dalam pengelolaan limbah. Temuan ini menunjukkan bahwa teknologi Waste Processing Machine tidak hanya efektif dalam pengelolaan limbah, tetapi juga mendukung pengembangan ekonomi lokal dan keberlanjutan lingkungan.

Abstract

Pengabdian ini bertujuan untuk meningkatkan kapasitas produksi kacang telur di Desa Srigonco, Kecamatan Bantur, Kabupaten Malang, melalui penerapan Teknologi Fryer And Oil Drainer Machine. Metode yang digunakan meliputi identifikasi masalah, desain dan pembuatan mesin, serta uji coba penerapan di lapangan. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa penggunaan teknologi ini mampu meningkatkan kapasitas produksi harian hingga dua kali lipat, mengurangi waktu produksi, dan meningkatkan efisiensi tenaga kerja. Selain itu, kualitas kacang telur yang dihasilkan juga lebih baik, dengan tekstur yang lebih renyah dan kandungan minyak yang lebih rendah. Penerapan teknologi ini tidak hanya berdampak positif pada peningkatan kapasitas dan efisiensi produksi, tetapi juga membuka peluang ekonomi yang lebih besar bagi masyarakat setempat. Tantangan dalam penerapan teknologi ini mencakup biaya awal investasi dan keterampilan tenaga kerja yang masih terbatas. Oleh karena itu, diperlukan dukungan lebih lanjut dalam bentuk pelatihan berkelanjutan dan skema pembiayaan yang terjangkau.

Abstract

Penerapan Self Adhesive Labelling Machine di Dusun Sanggrahan, Desa Jugo, Kecamatan Kesamben, telah meningkatkan efisiensi pelabelan kemasan produk bagi usaha mikro, kecil, dan menengah (UMKM) setempat. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk meningkatkan kecepatan dan akurasi pelabelan sekaligus mengurangi biaya produksi. Mesin ini mengurangi waktu pelabelan hingga 50% dibandingkan dengan metode manual, meningkatkan produktivitas dan memungkinkan UMKM memenuhi permintaan pasar dengan lebih efektif. Teknologi ini tidak hanya meminimalkan kesalahan manusia, tetapi juga meningkatkan konsistensi dan profesionalisme produk, yang berdampak pada manfaat ekonomi seperti penurunan biaya tenaga kerja dan peningkatan margin keuntungan. Adopsi teknologi ini, didukung oleh program pelatihan, juga mendorong pola pikir yang lebih inovatif di kalangan pengusaha lokal, memastikan praktik bisnis yang berkelanjutan dalam jangka panjang.

Abstract

Desa Pait di Kecamatan Kasembon, Kabupaten Malang, menghadapi tantangan signifikan dalam pengelolaan limbah organik akibat peningkatan volume limbah seiring dengan pertumbuhan populasi dan aktivitas pertanian. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengevaluasi penerapan Organic Waste Composting Machine sebagai solusi teknologi untuk meningkatkan efisiensi pengolahan limbah dan kualitas kompos. Metode yang digunakan mencakup observasi, wawancara pendahuluan, instalasi, uji coba mesin, dan pelatihan masyarakat. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa mesin ini mampu mengolah 60% limbah organik, meningkat dari 30% dengan metode konvensional. Kualitas kompos yang dihasilkan juga lebih tinggi dan homogen. Secara ekonomi, penggunaan mesin mengurangi biaya operasional dan meningkatkan hasil panen petani hingga 30%. Teknologi ini juga berhasil meningkatkan kesadaran dan partisipasi masyarakat dalam pengelolaan limbah. Kesimpulan ini menyoroti potensi penerapan teknologi ini sebagai model pengelolaan limbah yang berkelanjutan dan ramah lingkungan bagi desa lain.

Abstract

The growing need for proficient educators has driven the government to establish extensive Pre-service Teacher Professional Development Programs. This research examined the implementation of the English Language Pre-service Teacher Professional Development Program at Universitas Muhammadiyah Malang. Employing a field research approach, this qualitative study utilized the CIPP (Context, Input, Process, and Product) model to analyze the program's effectiveness. The study yielded descriptive data, shedding light on the program's impact on participants' professionalism. The findings revealed a significant enhancement in the participants' professional competencies. This improvement is evident in their expanded knowledge of pedagogical content, as well as their heightened skills in preparing all facets related to the English language teaching (ELT) process. This encompasses the creation of ELT materials, instructional media, the utilization of diverse teaching, and school administrative management. The significance of this research lies in its contribution to the ongoing discourse on teacher professional development in the context of English language education. The study's insights could inform educational policymakers, curriculum designers, and teacher training institutions about the strengths and areas of improvement within the program. This research aimed to enrich the quality of English language education and foster the growth of proficient and dedicated educators.

Abstract

This research aims to explore and describe the application of Project Based Learning which is integrated with the STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering, Mathematics) approach in improving the high-level thinking abilities of Automotive Engineering Education students. The research method used is a qualitative approach with a descriptive approach. Data was collected through literature studies which included printed books, scientific journals, and articles related to project-based learning and STEM approaches. The conclusion from the literature study shows that the application of the PjBL-STEM Learning Model is effective in developing students' higher order thinking skills. PjBL provides encouragement for active student involvement, increases interest and motivation to learn, and produces meaningful learning. In addition, the STEM approach trains students to apply knowledge in solving environmental problems by utilizing technology. The profile of Automotive Engineering Education graduates in the 21st century is designed to prepare individuals as leaders in various automotive-related fields, with high-level thinking abilities as a strong foundation in facing the challenges of the modern automotive industry. The results of this research confirm that the development of high-level thinking abilities is a key element in automotive engineering education in the current era.
