Abstract

The existence of Gajah Village, Sambit District, Ponorogo Regency is one of the villages that can be developed in terms of natural tourism through the existence of the Puncak Kuik area. This paper will look at the analysis of the development of the tourism potential of Gajah Village through the actors in it. Research using qualitative methods with data collection methods are observation, interviews, and documentation, using interactive data analysis model. From the results of the research it is known that the model for developing the tourism potential of Gajah Village seen through the pentahelix model which consists of five actors namely government, community, academics, media, and the business world has not been realized optimally, the five actors have not been interconnected and collaborated so that the development of a tourist area Puncak Kuik has not been implemented optimally. The government is still very limited in its role in the development of this tourist area so that the business world is also not willing to enter the Puncak Kuik tourist area due to poor road access. Of the five actors, it is the community and the media that have a big role to play in developing the Puncak Kuik area through the potential that exists in it, the community with self-supporting funds and the media through news or social media many of which expose the existence of the Puncak Kuik tourist area as a new tourist spot in Ponorogo Regency.

Abstract

This article aims to look at the government's role in fulfilling the right to basic education for the children of undocumented migrant workers in Malaysia. The research was conducted in the Kepong area of Selangor, Malaysia, with a qualitative method. Sources of data using primary and secondary data and data collection using observation, interviews, and documentation. The results obtained in this study show that the government has not been able to fulfill basic education rights for the children of migrant workers, especially those who do not have documents. The government is coordinating with community organizations, one of which is Muhammadiyah, to set up a guidance center that provides education rights for children of Indonesian migrant workers who do not have documents under the control of the Kuala Lumpur Indonesian School.

Abstract

Character education is an interesting issue in preparing children at the elementary school level to become a digital-based global society. This study aims to describe the process of Internalization of Pancasila student profile values based on digital citizenship preparation for the industrial era 4.0 and Merdeka Belajar case study at a state elementary school in Kepuhrejo. This is a case study with data from observations, interviews, and documentation involving 13 key informants, namely the principal, 6 classroom teachers, and 6 students who were previously determined based on the required criteria. Data analysis is carried out by interacting with existing data: reduce, present, and conclude. For the validity of the data, triangulation was carried out. The results of the study show that the planning process utilizes the results of the discussion from the teacher working group combined with literacy needs in the 4.0 era. The implementation uses an internalization approach that emphasizes habituation, direct experience, and exemplary both in the classroom and outside the classroom to strengthen data, technology and human literacy as a form of digital citizenship approach preparation for the industrial era 4.0

Abstract

AbstractSociologically, the village community in the East Java Tapal Kuda is dominated by the sarong people who have affiliation with certain Pesantren either as alumni or only as sympathizers. This is because the distribution of Islamic boarding schools in this area is relatively highand is socio-cultural educational basis of rural communities in the region. The indication is the domination of society Nahdliyin affiliated with Nahdlatul Ulama as a social organization social largest in Indonesia. This study aims to describe the role of Kyai in the context of local democracy rural based on patronage politics in the East Java Tapal Kuda. The method used in this research is descriptive qualitativewith inductive approach. While the type study is a case study. The data collection instruments used were observation, documentation and in-depth interviews. In collecting data, this research uses Miles and Huberman’s interactive model, namely; data reduction, data presentation, drawing conclusions. In testing the validity of the data, researchersuse triangulation, namely source triangulation, method triangulation, peer discussion andmember check. The results of the study show that rural communities are ordinary people who do not have political awareness in local democracy so they are independent patron to Kyai as role models in their lives and the role of the Kyai in the patronage politics of rural communities determines the flow of support for local democratic communities because politics is a subordinate area of the religiosity of rural communities.  AbstrakMasyarakat desa secara sosiologis di Tapal Kuda Jawa Timur didominasi oleh kaum sarungan yang  memiliki afiliasi pada pesantren tertentu baik sebagai alumni maupun hanya sebatas simpatisan. Pasalnya, sebaran pesantren di daerah ini tergolong tinggi dan merupakan basis sosial-budaya pendidikan masyarakat pedesaan di wilayah tersebut. Indikasinya adalah dominasi masyarakat Nahdliyin yang berafiliasi pada Nahdlatul Ulama sebagai organisasi sosial kemasyarakatan terbesar di Indonesia.Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan peran Kyai dalam konteks demokrasi lokal pedesaan yang berbasis pada politik patronase di lingkup Tapal Kuda Jawa Timur. Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah kualitatif deskriptif dengan pendekatan induktif. Sedangkan jenis penelitian adalah studi kasus. Instrumen pengumpulan data yang dipakai adalah observasi, dokumentasi dan wawancara secara mendalam.  Dalam pengumpulan data, penelitian ini menggunakan model interaktif Miles dan Huberman, yaitu; reduksi data, penyajian data, penarikan kesimpulan. Dalam uji keabsahaan data, peneliti menggunakan triangulasi, yaitu triangulasi sumber, triangulasi metode, diskusi sejawat dan member check. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa masyarakat pedesaan adalah masyarakat awam yang tidak memiliki kesadaran politis dalam demokrasi lokal sehingga mereka berpatron pada Kyai sebagai panutan dalam kehidupan mereka dan peran Kyai dalam politik patronase masyarakat pedesaan menentukan terhadap arus dukungan masyarakat demokrasi lokal sebab politik merupakan wilayah subordinat dari religiusitas masyarakat desa.

Abstract

Pandemi Covid-19 juga merubah tata laksana pemerintah dari berbagai bidang, termasuk bidang pendidikan. Pada bidang pendidikan perubahan terjadi sangat signifikan, hal ini dikarenakan proses belajar mengajar menjadi berbasis online atau melalui hybrid learning. Tidak hanya berkaitan dengan proses belajar mengajar, banyak layanan dalam bidang pendidikan yang harus diberikan oleh pemerintah kepada masyarakat. Tulisan ini disusun menggunakan metode kepustakaan dengan menggunakan berbagai sumber diantaranya penelaahan terhadap buku, artikel, catatan, serta berbagai laporan. Dari hasil penelusuran diketahui bahwa pemerintah memberikan lima layanan dalam bidang pendidikan diantaranya relaksasi Bantuan Operasional Pendidikan (BOP) dan Bantuan Operasional Sekolah (BOS), platform guru berbagi, penyediaan kuota internet, kurikulum darurat, dan fasilitas pembelajaran.

Abstract

This study describes the role of the government and the struggle to get education for Indonesian citizens in Malaysia and to fulfill the right to education for the children of Indonesian Migrant Workers in Malaysia. There are several cases of children of Indonesian workers in Malaysia whose children's rights to education are not fulfilled, especially for illegal Indonesian migrant workers. In this study the authors used a qualitative research method - descriptive with the techniques used for data collection in the form of observation, interviews, and documentation. The results of the study show that the government has not been able to provide maximum facilitation for the children of illegal Indonesian workers so that the existence of non-formal learning centers in the form of guidance workshops plays a very important role in the achievement of migrant children who are struggling to get an education in Malaysia. From simple enrollment and low-cost tuition fees to many flexible solutions. This school is also considered to have fulfilled the indicators of achieving the right to education for the children of Indonesian workers, one of which is in the Gombak area, Selangor, Malaysia. The conclusion obtained in this study is that the government must guard the existence of Indonesian migrant workers in Malaysia with all its problems so that Indonesian migrant workers and their children can obtain proper education rights in accordance with policies issued by the government.

Abstract

The implementation of a group discussion forum (FGD) carried out in the context of preparing materials on relationships and sex education (RSE) is very important due to the limitations of the implementation group in evaluating the content. content of module documentation. The participation of several experts such as psychologists, doctors, midwives, speakers and community members are helpful in providing input for material adjustment. This FGD activity was carried out on August 30, 2023 with the implementation team BEM-FKIP Muhammadiyah University Ponorogo. The steps of the FGD activity in this activity are; (1) Prepare modules to be used in FGD, (2) Coordinate implementation of FGD activities, (3) Invite experts with CSR skills, (4) Conduct FGD and (5) Evaluate evaluate the implementation of FGD and improve learning materials. The conclusion of this activity is that multi-stakeholder participation and collaboration are important things that the team must do during the document preparation process to have appropriate and quality module document content.

Abstract

Social media education that can be implemented by students in the 21st century is by applying social media in learning. Educators must change students' mindsets regarding the purpose of using social media from just looking to becoming a place to learn. Make the aim of using social media in a positive direction and have an influence on student learning and learning outcomes. This research aims to determine the implementation of the use of social media as a means of supporting learning for class XI Science students at SMAN 3 Ponorogo. The method used is qualitative, the techniques used in collecting data are observation, interviews and documentation. The results obtained were that the implementation of learning in Civics subjects at SMAN 3 Ponorogo in realizing an independent curriculum utilized social media including WhatsApp, Instagram, Quizzy, TikTok, and also other supporting digital applications such as Google Meet, Google Classroom, Google Form, and Zoom
