Abstract

Kampung Tidar Campur memiliki kondisi perekonomian yang sebagian wilayahnya masih kumuh dengan kondisi sanitasi yang memprihatinkan. Faktor utama tingginya pencemaran lingkungan dari limbah cair produksi tahu dikarenakan tidak memadainya sistem jaringan pengolahan limbah. Diperlukan upaya-upaya yang mengubah paradigma dalam pengembangan sanitasi lingkungan. Beberapa upaya yang bisa dilakukan kegiatan pemberdayaan masyarakat yang tertuju untuk menjamin keberlanjutan pengolahan Instalasi Pengolahan Air Limbah. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menginvetarisasi kondisi IPAL yang ada di masyarakat Kampung Tidar Campur dan menganalisis sistem pengolahan air limbah yang sesuai di Kampung Tidar Campur. Penelitian dilakukan di Kampung Tidar Campur Kelurahan Tidar Selatan, Kecamatan Magelang Selatan, Kota Magelang, Provinsi Jawa Tengah. Pengumpulan data diperoleh dari survey langsung di lapangan dengan menggunakan Prosedur Operasional Buku (POB) Penggunaan Dana Alokasi Khusus Bidang Insfrakstruktur Sub Bidang Sanitasi Ditjen Cipta Karya Tahun 2016. Dengan melakukan survei kuisioner dan wawancara secara langsung dengan indikator kepemilikan IPAL dengan bobot 20% , keadaan rumah dan lahan dengan bobot 30% , keadaan ekonomi dengan bobot 35% dan masyarakat dengan bobot 15%. Hasil penelitian menunjukan bahwa Kampung Tidar Campur Kelurahan Tidar Selatan Kecamatan Magelang Selatan menggunakan IPAL (Instalasi Pengolahan Air Limbah) 64% menggunakan IPAL individual karena kondisi IPAL sudah baik dan lahan yang cukup untuk menggunakan IPAL Individual dan hanya 36% yang tidak bisa menggunakan IPAL individual.

Abstract

The decline in the production of oil palm yields in Tomuan Holbung Village,Bandar Pasir Mandoge Subdistrict, Asahan District was identified as a result of a very highlevel of pest infestation. Pests that are often found and becomes the problems are Setothoseaasigna larva. Controlling these pests is a relatively high cost through the application ofchemical synthetic pesticides. The purpose of this research to determine the best formulationof botanical pesticides and their influence in reducing Setothosea asigna larva pests.Botanical pesticides which will be tested in this research are based from garlic, lemongrassleaves, pepper seeds, turmeric, tobacco leaves and papaya leaves. Formulations from eachsource of vegetable material were put into the leaves of palm plants and then tested onSetothosea asigna larva. The parameter observed in this study was the level of palatability ofSetothosea asigna larva. The observations made were based on the level of decrease in thepercentage of feeding activity, the weight of feed (palm oil plant leaves) that were consumedby the Setothosea asigna larva in the period 1-6 days after application. The results of thestudy showed that all treatments of botanical pesticides consisting of: 1) garlic, 2) lemongrass leaves, 3) pepper seeds, 4) turmeric tubers, and 5) tobacco leaves were significantlydifferent from without treatment or control. Then the results of the study also showed that theapplication of botanical pesticides affected the palatability of the Setothosea asigna larva,which accelerated death, appetite and decreased eating activities. The best treatment ofvegetable pesticides from tobacco leaves in controlling the Setothosea asigna larva'spalatability. Setothosea asigna larva die on first day, It don’t want to eat after the applicationof botanical pesticides, and the level of eating activity decreases to 100%.Keywords : Setothosea asigna larva, botanical pesticide, palm plants

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the right combination of charcoal briquette between charcoal from palm stem andcharcoal from cocoa fruit shell waste so that the charcoal briquette results that are appropriate or close to SNI quality standards. Data analysis method in this study used a Completely Randomized Design (CRD) with 5 treatments and 3 replications in each treatment. Comparison between palm stem charcoal and cocoa fruit shell charcoal added with starch adhesive as much as 5% respectively 70%: 30% (P1), 60%: 40% (P2), 50%: 50% (P3) , 40%: 60% (P4) and 30%: 70% (P5). Testing samples in this study include heating value/ calorific value, moisture content, power and combustion efficiency. The result showed that the water content which was found from all the five treatments given had higher water content compared to SNI. The maximum water content of the charcoal briquettes that conforms to SNI is < 8%, so there is no charcoal briquette treatment that matches to SNI criteria. The heat value contained in the charcoal briquettes is greater than the SNI which is > 5000 Kal/ g, so all the five treatments of charcoal briquettes have fulfilled the SNI. While the value of power and efficiency of combustion has not yet been stated in SNI, the power and efficiency of combustion only refers to the lowest average value or briquettes with combustion efficiency that has the longest combustion time used as the best power and efficiency of combustion, so the best quality standard of combustion efficiency is the combination of charcoal briquettes from 70% palm stem and 30% cocoa fruit shell (P1) because it refers to the combustion efficiency of briquettes that have the longest combustion time.

Abstract

Dangke whey is a dangke by-product that has not been widely utilized. Dangke whey is separated from curd using thepapaya latex as source of enzymes. The objectives of the study were to optimize fermentation conditions (tapioca level,inoculum level, and incubation time) of whey from dangke waste by using a response surface methodology. Commerciallyfermentative beverage was used as a target to determine the optimal conditions. Whey was mixed with tapioca level of0, 0.35, 0.7, 1.05, and 1.4%, and was heated by stirring for 5 minutes at temperature of 70 oC. The whey was pasteurizedat the temperature of 80 oC for 30 minutes. The whey was cool, and inoculated with L.acidophilus at the level of 1,3, 5, and 7%, and incubated at 37 °C for 8, 12, 16, 18, and 24 hours, respectively. The characteristics of fermentationbeverage obtained by the addition of inoculum level of 5%, tapioca 0.7% level and incubated for 16 hours were similarto the characteristics of commercially fermentative beverage. The characteristics of fermentated beverage were asfollows: lactic acid was 0.58%, viscosity was 0.21 poise and pH was 3, 7, respectively. These characteristics could beobtained by optimization of fermentation conditions by using RSM method.ABSTRAKWhey dangke merupakan limbah dangke yang belum banyak dimanfaatkan. Whey dangke dipisahkan dari curdmenggunakan getah buah pepaya sebagai sumber enzim. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengoptimasi kondisifermentasi (level inokulum, waktu inkubasi dan level tapioka) whey limbah dangke sebagai produk minuman denganresponse surface methodology. Minuman fermentasi komersial digunakan sebagai target dalam menentukan kondisioptimal. Whey dicampur tepung tapioka level 0, 0,35., 0,7., 1,05 dan 1,4% dan dipanaskan sambil diaduk selama 5menit suhu 70 oC. Whey selanjutnya dipasteurisasi suhu 80oC selama 30 menit. Setelah dingin diinokulasi L.acidophiluslevel 1, 3, 5, dan 7% serta diinkubasi suhu 37 oC selama 8, 12, 16, 18 dan 24 jam. Karakteristik produk minuman yangdiperoleh dengan penambahan level inokulum 5%, tapioka level 0,7% dan diinkubasi 16 jam hampir sama karakteristikminuman fermentasi komersial adalah kandungan asam laktat 0,58%, viskositas 0,21 poise dan pH 3,7. Karakteristiktersebut dapat didekati dengan mengoptimasi kondisi fermentasi menggunakan metode RSM.

Abstract

AbstractPaddy field soil condition is an important factor to be considered in designing a lug wheel for paddy field cultivation. To get the optimum wheel design, the wheel traction performance should be predicted before constructing the wheel. The purpose of this research were 1) to develop a prediction method of lug wheel performance, 2) to analyze the performance of lug wheel, and 3) to select the best configuration of lug wheel design. Tractive performance prediction method was developed based on the forces acting onactive lugs when the wheel operates in the soil. Soil reaction forces to wheel lugs were predicted using measured data of soil resistance on plat penetration in the soil. Nine wheel designs were tested in a paddy field to validate the prediction of wheel traction performance. The results showed that the developedprediction method developed had not approached the wheel traction efficiency maesurement results. The wheel traction efficiency prediction showed a high level of error that was more than 65%. The best wheel design for the paddy field was determined from the highest average measurement value of the wheel traction efficiency i.e 47.81%, that was the wheel with 12 lugs and 30° lug angle.AbstrakKondisi lahan sawah merupakan faktor penting yang perlu dipertimbangkan dalam perancangan roda besi bersirip untuk pengolahan tanah. Untuk mendapatkan desain roda besi bersirip yang optimal, kinerja traksi harus diduga sebelum melakukan perancangan. Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah 1) untuk mengembangkan sebuah metode pendugaan kinerja traksi roda besi bersirip, 2) untuk menganalisis kinerjatraksi roda besi bersirip, 3) untuk menentukan konfigurasi desain roda besi bersirip terbaik. Metoda untuk menduga kinerja traksi dikembangkan berdasarkan gaya-gaya reaksi yang bekerja pada sirip aktif pada saat roda besi bersirip beroperasi di lahan. Gaya reaksi tanah pada sirip roda diduga dengan menggunakan data pengukuran tahanan tanah terhadap penetrasi plat. Sebanyak 9 buah tipe desain roda besi bersirip telah diuji pada lahan sawah untuk memvalidasi hasil pendugaan kinerja traksi roda besi bersirip. Hasil validasi menunjukkan bahwa efisiensi traksi hasil pengembangan metode pendugaan belum mendekati hasil efisiensi traksi pengukuran. Pendugaan efisiensi traksi roda besi bersirip menghasilkan tingkat error yang tinggi yaitu lebih dari 65%. Desain roda besi bersirip terbaik untuk lahan sawah ditentukan dari ratarata nilai efisiensi traksi hasil pengukuran tertinggi sebesar 47.81% yaitu roda besi bersirip dengan jumlahsirip 12 dan sudut sirip 30°.

Abstract

This research aims to find out the Application of Joint ventures in PT. X. This research uses qualitative methods that are qualitatively descriptive. For data sources selected purposive sampling with the criteria of mastering or understanding the application of a Joint Venture, the number of informants was as many as 3 people. Data collection techniques using non-participatory observation techniques, interviews, documentation studies, and triangulation. The results of the study showed that cooperation between capital owners was carried out both in terms of stock capital and also the formation of a board of directors and the composition of commissioners. The contractual/agreements used in this Joint Venture are the Joint Venture Agreement and articles of association. The advice in the implementation of this Joint Venture is that there needs to be a discussion from the board of directors or commissioners in order to achieve the goals well, and the need for more socialization for business activities that are being carried out, and socialization of work implementation to be in accordance with the regulations derived from either the Joint Venture Agreement or the Articles of Association.

Abstract

AbstractYellow disease is a complex disease caused byFusarium sp., Phytophthora sp., and nematodes. Infectedplants were quickly killed and were difficult for replanting,causing significant losses for the growers. Various controlmethods were examined including the use of bioconrolagents and cover crop Arachis pintoi. The researchobjective was to determine the ability of biocontrol agentsand A. pintoi to improve pepper growth and reduce yellowdisease incidence on pepper plants in the field. Researchresults showed that the treatment of biocontrol andA. pintoi promoted vegetative growth of pepper plants, andincreased pepper height for up to more five times, andreduced yellow disease incidence to 30%AbstrakPenyakit kuning merupakan penyakit kompleks yangdisebabkan oleh Fusarium sp., Phytophthora sp. dannematoda parasit. Tanaman sakit mengalami kematianyang cepat dan kebun yang telah terinfeksi sulit untukditanami kembali, sehingga mengakibatkan kerugian yangnyata terhadap petani. Berbagai cara pengendalian telahdiuji termasuk penggunaan agens hayati Plant GrowthPromoting Rhizobacteria (PGPR), Trichoderma sp. dantanaman Arachis pintoi. Tujuan penelitian adalahmengetahui kemampuan agensia hayati dan Arachis pintoidalam meningkatkan pertumbuhan dan mengurangikejadian penyakit kuning pada tanaman lada di lapang.Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa perlakuan agenshayati dan A. pintoi meningkatkan tinggi dan jumlah dauntanaman lada lebih dari lima kali serta mempercepatmunculnya sulur dibandingkan dengan kontrol danfungisida. Aplikasi Trichoderma sp. yang dikombinasidengan A. pintoi menekan kejadian penyakit kuning hampir30%.

Abstract

AbstrakPenelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui bagaimana peran e-commerce dalam menopang keberhasilan terhadap perkembangan usaha mikro kecil dan menengah (UMKM) di Indonesia. Perilaku serta tindakan tersebut yang akan menjadi dasar pembahasan untuk menjelaskan bagaimana peran e-commerce dalam menopang keberhasilan perkembangan usaha mikro, kecil dan menengah di Indonesia. Pendekatan yang digunakan pada penelitian ini adalah eksplorasi. Perkembangan teknologi yang pesat dapat dimanfaatkan untuk mempermudah pengusaha UMKM untuk memperluas pemasaran produk yang dihasilkan. Abstract

ABSTRACT As we know fire is a very harmful thing, especially for humans. There are many causes and effects of fires, ranging from loss of property to loss of life. During this time, the fire department would usually be called when a building caught fire. However, the firefighters are often late in arriving at the location when the fire occurs. There are several factors that are indeed a problem for firefighters such as the long distance to the location and so on. Therefore, we need a system that can minimize the spread of fire. Fire alarm system is an integrated system designed and built to detect fires, issue warnings or notifications, and run fire control systems automatically or manually. The main part that is the controller or controller of this system is the Main Control Fire Alarm (MCFA) or the Fire Alarm Control Panel (FACP) which functions as an input signal for all detectors or sensors, then provides an output signal through the output component. Keywords: Fire, Fire Alarm, MCFA, Protection ABSTRAK Seperti kita ketahui kebakaran merupakan hal yang sangat merugikan, khususnya bagi manusia. Ada banyak penyebab dan akibat dari kebakaran, mulai dari hilang harta benda hingga merenggut korban nyawa. Selama ini, pemadam kebakaran biasanya akan dipanggil ketika sebuah bangunan terjadi terbakar. Namun sering terjadinya keterlambatan para pemadam tersebut sampai dilokasi ketika kebakaran. Ada beberapa faktor yang memang menjadi masalah pemadam seperti jarak yang jauh ke lokasi dan lain halnya. Oleh karena itu, diperlukan suatu sistem yang dapat meminimalkan penyebaran api. Fire alarm system adalah sistem terintegrasi yang dirancang dan dibangun untuk mendeteksi kebakaran, mengeluarkan peringatan atau pemberitahuan, dan menjalankan sistem pengendalian kebakaran secara otomatis atau manual. Bagian utama yang menjadi pengendali atau pengkontrol sistem ini anatara lain Main Control Fire Alarm (MCFA) atau Fire Alarm Control Panel (FACP) yang berfungsi sebagai menerima sinyal masukan (input signal) semua detektor atau sensor, kemudian memberikan sinyal keluaran (output signal) melewati komponen keluaran. Abstract

Potensi perikanan Republik Indonesia memenangkan pasar MEA (Masyarakat EkonomiASEAN) dan produk makanan olahan hasil laut telah meraih green ticket yang dikeluarkan oleh USAFDA sehingga beberapa industri pengolahan hasil laut menembus pasar AS dan Eropa. Desa PanipahanKecamatan Pasir Limau Kapas sebagai besar bermata pencaharian sebagai nelayan. Merekamemanfaatkan hasil tangkapan berupa udang rebon untuk diolah menjadi terasi, untuk mengetahuiperbandingan kapasitas hasil gilingan dengan variasi diameter lubang pengeluaran alat penggiling terasidan untuk mengetahui rendemen dengan variasi diameter lubang pengeluaran..Upaya untuk pembuatanalat ini menggunakan extruder yang berfungsi untuk menggiling udang rebon kebagian die.Hasildesakan udang rebon tersebut kemudian digiling dengan jumblah pisau penggiling 2 mata pisauyangdipasang bertingkat dengan kecepatan 1400 RPM dengan daya 1 Hp. Menggunakan sistempenggiling ini bahan baku dapat tergiling lembut yang kemudian dikeringkan dan dibentuk sesuai dengakebutuhan. Untuk menegetahui bahwa terasi hasil dari alat itu layak untuk dipasarkan ataupundikosumsi maka dilakukan pengujian densitas. Setiap perbedaan lubang keluaran maka berbanding lurusdengan perbedaan hasil berat terasi yang mana diameter lobang keluaran 3 mm menyusut dalam waktu8,49 menit, 8,55menit dan 9,11 menit. Diameter lubang keluaran 4 mm menyusut dalam waktu 6,29menit, 6,40 menit, dan 7,21 menit, dan diameter lubang keluaran 5 mm menyusut dalam waktu 6,9menit, 6,12 menit, dan 7,11 menit. Semakin lamawaktu penjemuran udang rebonsemakin basar pulanilai penyusutan pada berat udang, begitu juga semakin kecil lubang diameter dies akan menghasilkannilai densitas yang tinggi.
