Abstract

Karangsari has a starfruit picking agrotourism which is managed by the Suryasari community service. The Agrotourism of starfruit provided visitors a very simple and less varied service. The most common package taken by visitors is the starfruit picking package. Meanwhile, the implementation of the education package is still not optimal because the education provided is only a brief explanation about the cultivation of star fruit that is given while walking around the garden while picking the starfruit. Priority partners problems arises are less than optimal services in Agrotourism, especially in education packages, lack of partner skills in processing star fruit, especially star fruit that is overripe or slightly defective (damaged), and not yet optimal digital marketing so that the number of visitors is still limited from the area. local. The purpose of this activity is to empower the Suryasari community service in improving agro-tourism services and marketing through the product-based STAR edutourism model to improve tourism services in Karangsari Belimbing Picking Agrotourism. The methods applied in this activity include: (a) socialization and discussion about the product-based STAR edutourism model, (b) training on how to become an edutourism guide indoors and outdoors, (c) training on making nata de Averhoa carambola, (d) training in technical- digital marketing techniques, and (e) assisting partners in implementing product-based STAR edutourism packages to digital marketing. The results of this service could increase the partner's quality to become indoor and outdoor edutourism guides, increase the partner's ability to process starfruit into nata, and increase the partner's ability in digital marketing as shown by the results of partner responses to training activities that are quite good with 95% reaction level indicators, learning level 87%, behavior level 83%, and result level 80%. PkM activities also increase digital marketing activities by partners with the Karangsari Picking starfruit Agrotourism website. This activity has a positive impact on the Suryasari community service so that it is more qualified and able to provide maximum service for visitors to Karangsari starfruit picking agrotourism, Blitar, East Java.

Abstract

The purpose of this study is to see how students react to using the "Missyou" Lyric Game in listening activity. This study uses a qualitative research design. The participants in this study were 20 students from SMPN 1 Srengat who were chosen at random. A questionnaire was used to gather information. The purpose of the questionnaire is to collect student responses and determine whether the "Missyou" Lyric Game model explores and develops students' listening ability as an alternative media for learning to listen. The results revealed that 81,65 percent of respondents agreed that song lyrics may enhance their listening skills.

Abstract

The training is aimed to add scientific insight and increase teachers’s ability and quality to make learning modules independently adapted to the character of the subjects and the needs of students. Methods of lecture service activities are varied and practical or clinic. The training participants were all subject teachers for SMA Al Muhafizhoh, totaling 18 people, held for 2 days in the meeting room. Training results: 1) seen from the pre-test and post-test result comparisons there is an increase in scientific insight and ability in making learning modules, 2) all training participants (100%) can complete making learning modules according to the character of the subjects and student needs even though there are still revisions, including questions with HOTS character, the increasing of the number and variety is important. The training activities ran smoothly as expected because they received support from the foundation and institutions as well as school administrative staff in the form of adequate staff, minds, budgets and facilities in addition to the high level of participation of the training participants in participating in the activities. The problem is the limited implementation time.

Abstract

The objective of this research is to know the effectiveness of Power Point to improve student reading English for 5th grade of elementary school. This research was conducted with an experimental method. In conducting the study, the researcher involved the English teacher, the school principal, and the student grade 5th. This research was conducted at SDN Karangtengah 04 Blitar City. The subject of this research contain of 23 students, 14 male and 9 female. The data were obtained a pre-test, giving treatment, and post-test. After analyzing the data, it was found that the use of power point can improve students' English reading. In particular, they showed an increase in their ability to read English vocabulary. In addition, the test shows several other benefits, such as students find the meaning of stories faster, the learning atmosphere is more fun, and it increases students' interest in reading. Suggestions for teaching teachers are to use power point to teach students because it can improve students' reading skills.

Abstract

The purpose of conducting research on the effectiveness of the Memrise application is to improve students' English vocabulary skills. Research on the effectiveness of this application has been carried out at MAN 3 BLITAR which is located in Blitar Regency. The method used in this study is a quantitative method by providing pre-test and post-test Memrise applications. This application will compare students who use the application with those who do not. The results of research on the effectiveness of this application are shown from the results of the post-test. The results of the post test at Man 3 Blitar still show a low average value, the data shows the number 47.77. This value shows that it is still far from the KKM score, which is 75.00. after using the memrise application in learning there is a significant increase in value, namely 85.00. It can be seen that the memrise application plays a role in increasing teacher knowledge, especially in terms of increasing students' English vocabulary skills.

Abstract

Students' writing mastery in descriptive texts tends to decline. The limitations of effective writing learning media are one of the causes of students' decreased interest in writing. This research was aimed at understanding the wheel spinning game effect to facilite on writing descriptive text for seventh grade students and to understand the feasibility of these facilities. Using research was Research and Development Design with Sugiyono's adaptation model, which includes; Data Collection and Finding Potential, Problem and Solution, Design and Development, Experts Validation and Revision, Trial, Evaluation by Experts and Revision, and Final Product. Researchers used class VII B students at UPT SMPN 2 Talun as research objects totaling 30 students. The research obtained quantitative data from the result of questionnaire and tests while the qualitative data was obtained from interview. The result of the research development questionnaire in the form of games showed that 79.90% of students agreed with the wheel spinning game media as descriptive text learning. The results of product showed that the wheel spinning for writing of descriptive text was valid, the average material experts was 85% and the average media experts was 83.3%. Test and try to show that the game is effective. The pre-test result was 57.2 and the post-testresult increase to 80.76. The value of t-test with t-count -16.053<t-table 2.045 with a significant value of 0.05. The product was valid and can be used as a facility in the teaching and learning process. The result of student response was 85.20%, the score is very good. Wheel spinning game improves students' writing skills and motivate them to learn. The result of the research above indicates that the wheel spinning game is valid to be used as a tool of learning descriptive writing for class VII students. The next researchers may use this game for the other level of students.

Abstract

This research aims to describe the learning patterns of Islamic madrasas. Focusing on curriculum design and practice on the pedagogical abilities of students. Santri here refers to the research location, which is located at the Nurul Ulum Blitar Islamic boarding school. This research is a type of qualitative research with a descriptive approach. Data was collected through interviews, observation, and documentation techniques and processed through descriptive analysis. The analysis consists of three activity streams carried out simultaneously: data collection, data reduction, and conclusion or data verification. The study results show that the learning pattern at Madrasah Diniyah Nurul Ulum uses a mixed system. The system seeks to combine traditional and modern methods. The learning pattern of Madrasah Diniyah Nurul Ulum integrates the curriculum, aspects of pedagogy and professionalism, and the degree of educator education. The learning curriculum at Madrasah Diniyah Nurul Ulum combines conservative salafiyah classes and modern kalafiyah. The pedagogical ability of students can be found in learning in the form of studying various kinds of books, which are divided into Ula and Wustho levels. Professionalism here is a solid learning pattern for students, morning, afternoon, evening and night, to hone discipline and expertise. The degree of educator education is the profile of the Nurul Ulum Islamic boarding school teacher with a reasonable level. Integrating the four aspects above, this Madrasah presents the Nurul Ulum learning pattern as its advantage.

Abstract

In this quantitative study, the researchers assessed the impact of the Seesaw application on eleventh-grade students’ speaking proficiency by focusing on explaining natural phenomena. The researchers utilized pre-experimental research, especially one-group pre- and post-test designs. The research data was gathered through validated pre-tests and post-tests. The statistical analysis encompassed paired sample T-tests with SPSS 25. The result revealed that the students' average speaking score increased significantly from 68.40 to 85.20. The sig 2 tailed was less than 0.05. The results offer compelling support for the integration of Seesaw by English educators, highlighting the potential for enhanced learning outcomes and increased student engagement. Future researchers should delve into comparative studies, scrutinizing the Seesaw application against other digital interactive platforms, including Busuu, ELSA, Cake, Beelinguapp, and similar tools.

Abstract

Bahasa Inggris dalam kurikulum sekolah dasar merupakan muatan lokal (mulok) dimana tiap-tiap sekolah mempunyai kebijakan tersendiri yang disesuaikan dengan kebutuhan dan kodisi masing-masing sekolah. Fakta yang ada bahwa pengajaran bahasa Inggris di SDN Mulyoagung 2 Kecamatan Dau hanyalah menggunakan metode yang tradisional dengan guru sebagai sentra pengajaran dan hanya menggunakan buku teks sebagai media pembelajaran sehingga pembelajaran bahasa Inggris pada siswa SD yang seharusnya menyenangkan menjadi membosankan. Terlebih di SDN Mulyoagung 2 tidak ada guru pengajar Bahasa Inggris yang merupakan lulusan Pendidikan Bahasa Inggris. Maka dari itu perlu diadakan pelatihan di sekolah ini. Metode yang digunakan dalam pengabdian masyarakat ini adalah: pertama, Pemberian pengetahuan dan wawasan tentang motode pembelajaran unuk anak SD. Kedua, pengenalan Story telling sebagai metode yang dapat diterapkan dalam kelas, berikiutnya memberikan model dan yang terakhir adalah praktik menggunakan metode Story Telling dalam kelas. Hasil dari kegiatan ini adalah guru memiliki wawasan tentang pentingnya metode pembelajaran bagi siswa sesuai dengan usianya. Kedua, guru juga mampu membuat cerita dan mengembangkan ide mereka menjadi sebuah kegiatan siswa berdasarkan tema. Dari hasil evaluasi pada akhir kegiatan, dapat disimpulkan bahwa kegiatan abdimas berjalan dengan lancar dan sukses, semua peserta mengikuti kegiatan dengan baik sampai kegiatan berakhir.

Abstract

Salah satu upaya dalam meningkatkan.produktivitas ternak dapat dilakukan dengan menerapkan manajemen reproduksi dengan baik. Pencapaian reproduksi dapat tercapai apabila tiap tahunnya dapat melahirkan anak sapi (pedhet) sehingga perlunya pengamatan birahi yang tepat guna dapat memaksimalkan hasil inseminasi buatan agar mencapai kebuntingan. Kegiatan sosialisasi tentang pengenalan birahi dan penerapan teknologi inseminasi buatan meruapakan salah satu bentuk dari.program kerja Kuliah Kerja Nyata (KKN) yang bertujuan agar para peternak lebih paham tentang tanda-tanda birahi pada ternaknya sehingga dengan pengamatan birahi yang tepat dapat membantu petugas inseminator dalam menentukan waktu perkawinan yang tepat. Birahi merupakan fase di mana ternak betina yang sudah mencapai kematangan seksual menunjukkan gejala atau perilaku ingin kawin. Dari pengamatan birahi yang tepat diharapkan mampu menghasilkan kebuntingan pada perkawinan suatu ternak. Selain melakukan seminar, kegiatan edukasi birahi pada ternak juga dilakukan dengan praktik langsung ke lapangan untuk memberikan pemahaman birahi dan juga penerapan teknologi inseminasi buatan serta membantu pemeriksaan kebuntingan pada ternaknya. Kegiatan sosialisai ini telah dilaksanakan.pada hari Rabu, 13 September 2023 di Desa Sumberjo dengan peternak setempat sejumlah 12 orang
