Abstract

The social context of contributions can be in the form of donations, gifts, or actions carried out by individuals or institutions to improve the welfare of society. Contribution is seen as a concrete form carried out by individuals or institutions which then has a positive or negative impact on society. The elderly are an age group that has entered the final stages of its life phase, which according to WHO has an age range of 60 years and over. Posyandu for the Elderly also functions as a forum for communication, technology transfer and the provision of health services. The purpose of this activity is to find out the activities carried out at the Lansi Posyandu in Sumber Harapan village. The flow of activities carried out when the elderly posyandu is implemented is first distributing serial numbers randomly and then filling in attendance according to the serial number obtained by each elderly person. After that, call the elderly according to their serial number and ask for their KTP to support filling in their data. First of all, the elderly will have their blood pressure checked, weighed, checked and followed by providing an understanding of their medical history and medication. The activities of the Posyandu for the Elderly in Harapan Village have contributed significantly to improving the health and quality of life of the elderly. This activity involves various health services, including routine health checks, distribution of medicines, as well as increasing knowledge about healthy lifestyles and body care.

Abstract

Plastik biodegradable merupakan plastik yang terbuat dari bahan alam yang mudah didaur ulang dan mempunyai sifat yang mampu terurai secara alami. Kelebihan plastik biodegradable setelah habis pakai akan hancur terurai oleh aktivitas mikroorganisme menjadi air dan gas CO2. Pati merupakan salah satu bahan dasar pembuatan plastik biodegradable, pati tersebut dapat diperoleh dari kulit singkong. Tujuan penelitian ini untuk menganalisis kualitas plastik biodegradabale terhadap ketahanan air dan biodegradasi di dalam tanah. Tahapan penelitian meliputi pembuatan pati kulit singkong, ekstraksi selulosa serat daun nanas, pembuatan plastik biodegradable, yang terdiri dari 3 perlakuan, yaitu variasi selulosa 1,5 gram, 2 gram dan 2,5 gram untuk masing – masing 10 gram pati kulit singkong. Hasil dari penelitian uji ketahanan air variasi selulosa 1,5 gram memiliki rata – rata ketahanan air sebesar 78,05%, variasi selulosa 2 gram memiliki rata – rata ketahanan air sebesar 81,84% dan variasi selulosa 2,5 gram memiliki rata – rata ketahanan air sebesar 86,63%. Makin banyak selulosa yang ditambahkan makin memengaruhi ketahanan air plastik biodegradable. Hal tersebut menunjukkan bahwa variasi selulosa 1,5 gram, 2 gram dan 2,5 gram berpengaruh nyata terhadap uji ketahanan air. Sedangkan hasil terbaik untuk uji biodegradasi terdapat pada variasi selulosa 1,5 gram yang terdegradasi sempurna pada hari ke-6.

Abstract

Mengonsumsi ikan memiliki banyak manfaat bagi kesehatan, termasuk bagi pelajar. Kandungan DHA dalam ikan diyakini dapat mendukung fungsi otak, termasuk peningkatan daya ingat dan konsentrasi. Nutrisi dalam ikan, terutama omega-3, telah dikaitkan dengan peningkatan kemampuan konsentrasi dan perhatian. Ini dapat membantu pelajar dalam memahami materi pelajaran dan fokus selama kegiatan belajar. Kegiatan penyuluhan  ini bertujuan  untuk mengedukasi siswa tentang manfaat mengonsumsi ikan untuk meningkatkan kecerdasan di Pondok Pesantren Al-amin Sungai kelambu, Kecamatan Tebas. Tahapan kegiatan yaitu penentuan lokasi, menentukan topik, menjadwalan, perizinan, pelaksanaan, dan dokumentasi. Metode penyuluhan yang digunakan adalah metode ceramah, diskusi, media visual, dan metode interaktif. Adapun hasil yang didapat bahwa penyuluhan yang dilaksanakan berjalan dengan baik dan lancar. Peserta yang mengikuti  kegiatan penyuluhan  tersebut  sangat semangat dan  antusias dalam mendengarkan narasumber menyampaikan materi secara interaktif. Serta terjadi peningkatan pengetahuan dan pemahaman siswa untuk mengonsumsi ikan.

Abstract

Siamese oranges are part of the abundant agricultural products in Sambas Regency. Siamese orange farming is able to become the main supplier for West Kalimantan, but during post-harvest the condition of Siamese oranges is uncontrolled, causing an unstoppable abundance in the market and causing a decrease in the price of Siamese oranges. The purpose of this community service is to provide training in processing Siamese oranges in Mensere Village, Sambas Regency. The approach method used is the provision of materials, modules, direct technical processing and discussion sessions. The results obtained from the activity were that the participants were happy with this training, besides that each participant could enjoy the processing process that had been practiced directly during the training and commented positively on the training that had been given. Training in processing drinks with Siamese oranges as raw materials is expected to foster skills and foster an entrepreneurial spirit in processing Siamese oranges. Another impact is to provide reinforcement of information on the condition of Siamese oranges, in addition to helping to increase creativity in overcoming the growth rate of Siamese oranges which during post-harvest cannot be stopped by the market.

Abstract

Cemilan merupakan makanan yang dapat membuat rasa lapar seseorang hilang untuk sementara waktu. Potato ball salah satu cemilan yang digemari oleh masyarakat. Tujuan penelitian ini mengetahui kandungan gizi makro dan mikro pada potato ball dalam pemenuhan nutrition fact. Penentuan gizi makro dan mikro dilakukan dengan menimbang bahan secara detail, lalu dihitung berdasarkan TKPI 2017 dan dikonversikan dengan nilai AKG 2019. Kandungan gizi makro terdiri dari karbohidrat, protein, lemak, dan serat berturut-turut berdasarkan persen AKG yaitu karbohidrat sebesar 33%, lemak 0%, protein 27%, dan serat 13%. Kandungan gizi mikro pada produk potato ball yaitu air, kalsium, fosfor, besi, natrium, kalium, tembaga, seng, dan Vit C dan kandungan paling tinggi berdasarkan persen AKG yaitu natrium sebesar 24%.

Abstract

Coconut meal is an agricultural waste that has not been widely utilized but still contains nutrients. This study aims to evaluate the effect of fermentation on the protein, fat, and carbohydrate content of coconut meal. Three main treatments were compared: unfermented coconut meal, coconut meal fermented with Rhizopus sp., and coconut meal fermented with EM4. The results of the analysis showed that unfermented coconut meal had a protein content of 34,77%, fat 8,84%, and carbohydrate 27,73%. Fermentation with Rhizopus sp. increased the protein content to 37,37%, decreased the fat content to 6.11%, and slightly increased the carbohydrate content to 23,04%. Meanwhile, fermentation with EM4 increased the protein content to 35.87%, decreased the fat content to 6.55%, and increased the carbohydrate content to 26.86%. Based on the results of the study, fermentation with Rhizopus sp. was more effective in increasing protein content and decreasing fat content compared to fermentation with EM4. Fermentation with EM4 showed a significant increase in carbohydrate content. In conclusion, the fermentation process can improve the nutritional quality of coconut meal, so that it can be a more nutritious alternative as animal feed

Abstract

Plastic waste is a serious environmental problem that requires immediate handling, especially in educational environments. SD Negeri 22 Seladu faces the challenge of managing plastic waste, especially used bottles, which have not been utilized optimally. This condition shows the need to increase students' awareness of plastic waste management and the provision of environmentally based learning media. This service activity aims to minimize plastic waste, increase students' understanding of waste management, and create learning media in the form of aquariums from used bottles. The method used includes preparation stages, delivery of materials, and practice of making aquariums from used plastic bottles. Activities are carried out with a participatory approach to actively involve students. The results of the activity show that students are able to understand the concept of recycling, increase creativity, and have a higher awareness of the importance of protecting the environment. This program provides significant educational and environmental benefits. By using used bottles as a learning medium, this activity can be used as a model for environmental education in other schools to support sustainable plastic waste management.

Abstract

The fisheries sector is one sector that has great potential in improving the economy. To increase the income of fish cultivators, farmers need to manage their business results better before they were marketed or sold. The welfare level of fish farmers was still low, this is not because the selling price of fish is low, nor is it because of the large number of imported fish, but rather due to the government's lack of attention to the fishery sector, especially freshwater fisheries. This study used a descriptive method, which was conducted in the Lima Puluh Kota Regency. The selection of the research area was carried out in purposive method. Determination of the research sample using the snowball sampling method. Collecting data using interview method using questionnaires to obtain primary data and documentation method to obtain secondary data. The data analysis method used descriptive qualitative analysis and quantitative analysis using a triangulation technique approach that tested the validity of the data using methods, sources, and theories. The results showed that the factors that significantly influenced the income of fish farmers in Nagari Andaleh, Luak District, Lima Puluh Kota Regency were the number of harvests (X1), land area (X2), production costs (X5), and the selling price of production (X6).  While the factors that do not affect the income of rice farmers are farmer education (X3), farmer age (X4) and other occupations (X7).
