Abstract

This study aims at investigating gender based students’ stress pattern at Regional office of Ternate. The respondents of this study were 160 students of Faculty of Economy in At regional office Ternate consisting 40 male respondents and 40 female respondents of Management study program, and 40 male respondents and 40 female respondents of Accounting study program. To gather the data, a survey method was employed. Data was analyzed by using Importance Performance Analysis. The results showed that nothing was recommended for improvement atthe Regional office of Ternate economic faculty.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menjelaskan tentang gaya kepemimpinan dalam meningkatkan motivasi kerja ASN di LPMP Sulawesi Barat. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode kualitatif, dengan pendekatan tipe penelitian fenomenologi. Teknik pengumpulan data yang dilakukan meliputi observasi, wawancara dan dokumentasi berupa literatur dan arsip yang terkait dengan masalah yang diteliti, sedang analisis data yang digunakan adalah deskriptif kualitatif. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa: (1) Gaya kepemimpinan Kepala Lembaga Penjaminan Mutu Pendidikan Sulawesi Barat yang diterapkan pada LPMP yang dipimpinnya adalah Kepemimpinan Demokratis. (2) Gaya kepemimpinan demokratis yang diterapkan Kepala lembaga penjaminan mutu Pendidikan Sulawesi Barat berhasil meningkakan motivasi kerja ASN menjadi lebih baik dari sebelumnya. Para ASN ditempatkan sesuai latar keilmuan yang dimiliki. Para ASN tidak bekerja sesuai selera tetapi bekerja sesuai aturan yang berlaku dan menunjukan kerjasama yang baik dalam menyelesaikan tugas –tugas yang diemban.

Abstract

The purpose of this study was to determine the relevance of the sharing economy in the development of SMEs after COVID-19. This research method is library research. This research is studied using the concept of switching behavior approach by Boyle. The results show that, from the push aspect, the increasingly modern development of IT and the ability to reach market share are the reasons for sharing economy companies to survive and grow. From the pull aspect, the high level of profit and the lack of regulations governing the sharing economy have made many large companies invest in companies based on the sharing economy. Lastly, from the mooring aspect, the number of internet users and the instant behavior of millennials, make the sharing economy a business sector that still exists because it already has a mooring in the form of a large market share and the number is very large. The conclusion is that the sharing economy will still be relevant in developing MSMEs after the COVID-19 pandemic. Keywords: Mooring, Pull, Push, Sharing Economy, Switching Behavior, UMKM

Abstract

This study aims to describe the strategic steps that can be applied by MSMEs, in order to be able to utilize their resources to achieve competitive advantage, especially in conditions of uncertainty, such as the current covid-19 pandemic. The method used in this research is library research. The steps for collecting information and data are carried out in stages, starting from: (i) Design, (ii) Implementation, (iii) Analysis, and (iv) Compiling and writing a review. The results show that in achieving competitive advantage there are many resource variables that influence it. The results showed that the variables of innovation ability and creativity are resources that have a dominant influence on competitive advantage. In addition, another dominant variable that also affects competitive advantage is HR, because HR holds an important key in running the MSE business, including in creating various innovations and creativity. For this reason, the strategic steps that must be taken by MSMEs are to increase innovation and creativity, if they want to survive and be able to compete in any conditions, especially in conditions of uncertainty. Like Darwin's theory of evolution: The Survival of the Fittest, SMEs must be prepared to adapt to changes in the environment that affect business. Abstract

This study aims to prove the effect of Institutional Ownership, Proportion of Independent Commissioners, Audit Committee, Sales Growth, Leverage, Capital Intensity and Inventory Intensity on Tax Avoidance. The sample of this research is 188 manufacturing companies listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange in 2015-2019. The sample selection method used was purposive sampling and obtained a sample of 30 companies. The data analysis technique used is multiple linear regression. The results of this study indicate that. Institutional ownership has no effect on Tax Avoidance, the proportion of Independent Commissioners has no effect on Tax Avoidance, the Audit Committee has no effect on Tax Avoidance, Sales Growth has no effect on Tax Avoidance, Leverage has no effect on Tax Avoidance, Capital Intensity has no effect on Tax Avoidance, and Inventory Intensity has no effect on Tax Avoidance. In conclusion, the effect on Tax Avoidance is the proportion of independent commissioners and sales growth. Abstract

Dalam prakteknya, tingkat retensi mahasiswa pada pendidikan jarak jauh (PJJ) di seluruh dunia sangatlah tinggi, bahkan dapat mencapai 30%-50% dari total mahasiswa yang semua mendaftar. Hal ini dikarenakan dalam PJJ tidak ada konsep DO, sehingga mahasiswalah yang menentukan lanjut atau tidaknya. Banyak factor yang mempengaruhi retensi tersebut, salah satunya tingkat kepuasan. Peneliti ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh komponen dari customer intimacy, yakni komunikasi (X1), perhatian (X2) dan hubungan relasi (X3) terhadap rasa senang (Y1), kepuasan (Y2) dan kepercayaan (Y3) mahasiswa Universitas Terbuka (UT) di UPBJJ-UT Majene. Populasi penelitian adalah mahasiswa UPBJJ-UT Majene masa registrasi 2021.2 yang minimal telah berada di semester 2 ke atas.  Penentuan jumlah sampel ditentukan dengan metode purposive sampling, yaitu para mahasiswa yang bersedia mengisi kuisioner yang disebarkan secara online dan diperoleh jumlah sebanyak 235 sampel. Alat analisis yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah analisis Regresi Linear Berganda. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa: 1) Semua komponen costumer intimacy: komunikasi (X1), perhatian (X2) dan hubungan relasi (X3) berpengaruh positif terhadap rasa senang mahasiswa (Y1); 2) Semua komponen costumer intimacy: komunikasi (X1), perhatian (X2) dan hubungan relasi (X3) berpengaruh positif terhadap kepuasan mahasiswa (Y2); 3) Semua komponen costumer intimacy: komunikasi (X1), perhatian (X2) dan hubungan relasi (X3) berpengaruh positif terhadap kepercayaan mahasiswa (Y3).

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengukur peluang dan tantangan UPBJJ-UT Ternate melalui bauran pemasaran jasa perguruan tinggi yang meliputi produk, harga, tempat, promosi, sumber daya manusia, aktivitas operasional dan sarana dan prasarana. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian deskriptif kualitatif. Sumber informasi dalam penelitian ini adalah siswa kelas XII di Maluku Utara dengan total sampel sebanyak 802 Siswa. Teknik pengumpulan data menggunakan wawancara, observasi dan dokumentasi. Data dianalisis dengan menggunakan model dari Milles dan Michael Huberman dengan tahapan pengumpulan data, reduksi data, penyajian data, dan penarikan kesimpulan. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa 1) Pada aspek produk, siswa lebih mempertimbangkan perguruan tinggi yang memiliki program studi/jurusan yang diminati oleh siswa; 2). Pada aspek harga, siswa lebih mempertimbangkan perguruan tinggi yang menawarkan biaya SPP yang terjangkau; 3). Pada aspek tempat, siswa lebih mengharapkan perguruan tinggi yang dekat dengan pusat kota; 4). Pada aspek promosi, siswa lebih memilih perguruan tinggi yang melakukan promosi melalui tatap muka langsung di sekolah mereka; 5). Pada aspek sumber daya manusia, siswa lebih mengharapkan perguruan tinggi yang memiliki dosen/tutor dengan kualifikasi pendidikan yang kapabel; 6). Pada aspek aktivitas operasional, siswa lebih mengharapkan perguruan tinggi yang memiliki program pendaftaran mahasiswa baru yang mudah; dan 7). Pada aspek sarana dan prasarana, siswa lebih mengharapkan perguruan tinggi dengan ruang belajar yang nyaman.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis pengaruh profitabilitas, leverage, kepemilikan institusional dan capital intensity terhadap penghindaran pajak pada perusahaan manufaktur yang terdaftar di Bursa Efek Indonesia tahun 2016-2018. Sampel dipilih berdasarkan teknik purposive sampling dengan total observasi sebanyak 63 perusahaan. Teknik analisis data yang digunakan adalah analisis regresi linear berganda dengan software SPSS for windows 25. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa variabel capital intensity berpengaruh signifikan terhadap penghindaran pajak. Sedangkan profitabilitas, leverage, dan kepemilikan institusional tidak berpengaruh terhadap penghindaran pajak.

Abstract

This research aims to analyze and test the influence of the board of commissioners, audit committee, family ownership, institutional ownership and cash flow volatility on profit persistence in manufacturing companies listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange in 2015-2019. The sample in this study was 21 companies with 105 observations. Sampling techniques use purposive sampling methods. Data analysis techniques use multiple linear regression analysis with the help of eviews software. The results showed that institutional ownership had a positive effect on profit persistence, and audit committees negatively affected profit persistence, while a board of commissioners, family ownership and cash flow volatility had no impact on profit persistence.

Abstract

This study aims to identify market segments, analyze the target and positioning of Universitas Terbuka (UT) and determine strategies and implementations to increase the number of students. The method used was a survey method. Data collections were questionnaires and interviews. The collected data were analyzed using descriptive analysis. The results show that enrolling at Universitas Terbuka has so far been dominated by applicants aged 21-50 years, generally women, mostly working in the informal sector, earning less than 5 million Indonesian rupiahs, and coming from all regions. Generally, they feel they know UT but know more when they have become UT students. However, around 23.7 percent know UT from 2-5 years before becoming UT students. The media with the biggest contribution to introducing UT are friends, family, and leaders where they work, another part of them stated that the information is from those who studied at UT. Furthermore, only 14 percent stated that they knew UT from TV or social media. Then, the main consideration in deciding to register at UT was the cost factor. They consider the cost of tuition at UT is cheap, although some still think that tuition fees are still expensive but still affordable. After becoming UT students, they admit that communication with all components that play a role in learning at UT goes well. Further, argue that it is necessary if UT always informs/establishes cooperation with various parties, especially government and private institutions, especially in the regions.
