Abstract

Kegiatan Pengabdian kepada masyrakat ini dilatarbelakangi oleh pentingnya penguasaan kompetensi pedagogik khususnya perancangan dan penggunaan media pembelajaran dalam rangka penguatan literasi dan numerasi sebagai bekal fundamental di era society 5.0 bagi guru Sekolah Dasar. Kegiatan PkM ini bertujuan untuk meningkatkan kemampuan guru di Kabupaten Kuningan dalam menggunakan media pembelajaran dan mengenal berbagai platform pembelajaran yang dapat memperkuat kompetensi literasi dan numerasinya dalam implementasi Kurikulum Merdeka di Sekolah Dasar. Sehingga, Pelatihan ini diharapkan dapat mendorong guru-guru Sekolah Dasar di Kabupaten Kuningan agar dapat menyajikan pembelajaran yang inovatif dengan mengeksplorasi berbagai media pembelajaran yang variatif guna mendukung penguasaan siswa dalam bidang literasi numerasi. Metodologi yang digunakanpada kegiatan pengabdian kepada masyarakat ini merujuk pada model training yang berdasar pada kebutuhan pelatihan (training need assesment) dengan pendekatan model deduktif. Kegiatan pengabdian kepada masyarakat ini dilakasanakan secara daring dan luring dengan melibatkan lebih dari 100 peserta. Melalui pendampingan guru-guru Sekolah dasar dapat mengembangkan produk media literasi numerasi di SD berbasis platform phetcolorado dan canva. Simpulan dari kegiatan pengabdian ini adalah melalui pelatihan dan pengembangan media pembelajaran berdasarkan platform penguatan literasi numerasi bagu guru-guru SD Kabupaten Kuningan dapat meningkatkan kemampuan guru dalam merancang pembelajaran inovatif yang lebih kontekstual, adaptif, fleksibel dan sesuai dengan karakteristik dan tugas perkembangan siswa SD

Abstract

Pemanfaatan teknologi digital yang strategis dan tepat guna dalam pendidikan berperan kunci dalam upaya membangun kembali pendidikan sekaligus mendorong pembelajaran berkualitas bagi anak bangsa. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengkaji urgensi dan peran teknologi digital dalam pembelajaran di sekolah dasar. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah metode tinjauan literatur integratif. Dengan menggunakan metode tersebut, peneliti melakukan penelaahan literatur melalui proses meninjau, mengkritik, dan mensintesis literatur representatif mengenai suatu topik dengan cara yang terintegrasi sedemikian rupa sehingga dihasilkan kerangka kerja dan perspektif baru. Hasil kajian peneliti menunjukkan bahwa integrasi teknologi digital dalam pembelajaran yang slaah satunya adalah platform merdeka mengajar tidak hanya menjadi teman bagi para pendidik, tetapi juga pilar penting dalam membangun pendidikan yang lebih baik di Indonesia. Melalui semangat kolaborasi, inklusivitas, dan inovasi yang diusung oleh platform merdeka mengajar, kita dapat bersama-sama mewujudkan visi Pelajar Pancasila yang memiliki karakter dan integritas tinggi, siap menghadapi tantangan masa depan. Simpulan dari penelitian ini adalah bahwa teknologi digital sangat berperan penting dan harus menjadi isu prioritas dalam penetapan kebijakan Pendidikan di Indonesia, dalam upaya memujudkan masyarakat masa depan Indonesia.

Abstract

Mathematics learning media for elementary school level currently generally does not facilitate student diversity from various aspects of diversity, both content, process, product, and student learning environment by considering students' readiness, interests and learning profile to master certain competencies. Learning media is packaged monotonously without involving ICT, causing boredom for students, especially at the elementary school level, who are generally unable to endure long periods of learning using learning media that are not varied. Such mathematics learning media is not yet relevant to the principles of the current curriculum, namely the Kurikulum Merdeka which has a growth mindset. In the Kurikulum Merdeka, teachers are expected to be proactive figures (proactive teachers) who have a growth mindset by viewing that each student is unique and different, so it is necessary to provide services that accommodate students' various learning needs or differentiated learning based on the results of the initial assessment. Learning media also ideally strengthens quality learning experiences, including being developed and packaged digitally according to students' current learning needs with a micro learning approach so as not to bore students, containing various elements (text, audio, video, animation and infographics), containing only basic or important material, allows students to use it for a relatively short period of time, and allows students to use it anytime and anywhere. The research that has been carried out aims to develop a differentiated learning media model based on micro learning in Mathematics subjects in the field of Number studies in elementary school.

Abstract

This research aims to develop the Dodu Adventure media to improve learning outcomes in statistics for fifth-grade elementary school students. The objective is motivated by several factors: 1) Students' abilities to understand statistics vary; 2) Statistics is abstract so students require guidance, repetition, and visualization; 3) Teaching generally uses conventional methods, where teachers explain and provide practice problems. These issues lead to a lack of enthusiasm during the learning process and an uneven understanding of statistical material, resulting in generally low learning outcomes. The method used in this research is the Design and Development (D&D) method, developed using the ADDIE model, which includes five stages: analysis, design, development, implementation, and evaluation. The development of the Dodu Adventure media is based on learning outcomes and the scope of the statistics curriculum for fifth-grade students. The first material validation results showed the Dodu Adventure media received a score of 88.9%, categorized as very suitable and considered suitable with revisions. In the second material validation, the media scored 98.1%, considered suitable without revisions by material experts. In media validation, Dodu Adventure received a score of 93.5%, categorized as very suitable and considered suitable with revisions by media experts. Lastly, in learning validation, the learning experts gave a score of 89.5%, considered suitable without revisions. Additionally, based on pre-test and post-test results from 26 students at SDN 053 Cisitu, data showed improvement. The average pre-test score was 52.1, while the post-test score was 72.6. The N-gain result was 0.46, categorized as a moderate improvement.

Abstract

The research is motivated by the need to gain a deeper understanding of students’ mathematical problem-solving abilities, particularly in algebra, and to identify and address the productive struggles the encounter while solving problems. This research aims to analyze students' mathematical problem-solving abilities in solving algebra problems and identify students' productive struggles in solving these problems. This research was carried out using a qualitative approach with descriptive methods and instruments used in this research are problem solving ability tests, questionnaires that have been validated by education experts, and interview guides. Researchers selected students based on their level of productive struggle, namely high, medium, and low. The result revealed that students who have high productive struggle can answer the three questions correctly according to the problem-solving stages, starting from the understanding stage, transformation stage, process skills stage, and conclusion stage. Students who have moderate productive fighting power can answer the three questions only up to the understanding and transformation stage. At the process skills stage, students show errors in calculating and need teacher motivation to continue their struggle in solving mathematical problems. Students who have low productive fighting power can answer questions only up to the understanding stage, limited to writing back what they know and ask. In this category, students need intervention assistance from researchers to encourage their productive struggles. This assistance does not eliminate students' opportunities to think actively, on the contrary, through this method students are required to interpret their knowledge.

Abstract

Abstract Media and platforms are important components of scientific literacy learning in implementing the Merdeka curriculum in elementary schools. This community service activity aims to disseminate the use of media and platforms to strengthen scientific literacy in implementing the independent curriculum in elementary schools. The method used is socialization, which includes several stages: identifying problems and needs, determining training topics, and evaluating. This activity was attended by 60 teachers in Kuningan Regency. In terms of process, the implementation of community service was conducive at both the online and offline stages of implementing activities. Participants were very enthusiastic about participating in question-and-answer activities, practices, and presentations on media use. All participants developed learning media and presented it in front of other participants. The success of implementing this community service is assessed from the implementation process and the output, where there is an increase in teacher understanding regarding scientific literacy and the use of media and platforms to strengthen scientific literacy skills. Keywords: science literacy media and platforms, merdeka curriculum, elementary schools Abstrak Media dan platform merupakan komponen penting pembelajaran literasi sains dalam implementasi kurikulum merdeka di sekolah dasar. Kegiatan pengabdian kepada masyarakat ini bertujuan untuk mendiseminasikan penggunaan media dan platform penguatan literasi sains dalam implementasi kurikulum merdeka di sekolah dasar. Metode yang digunakan dalam kegiatan pengabdian ini yaitu sosialisasi mencakup beberapa tahapan yaitu identifikasi permasalahan dan kebutuhan, penentuan topik pelatihan, dan evaluasi. Kegiatan ini diikuti oleh 60 guru di Kabupaten Kuningan. Dari segi proses, pelaksanaan kegiatan pengabdian berlangsung kondusif dan lancar baik pada tahap pelaksanaan kegiatan daring maupun luring. Peserta sangat antusias berpartisipasi dalam kegiatan tanya jawab, praktik, dan presentasi penggunaan media. Semua peserta turut andil dalam mengembangkan media pembelajaran dan mempresentasikannya di depan peserta yang lain. Keberhasilan pelaksanaan pengabdian kepada masyarakat ini selain dinilai dari proses pelaksanaan juga dinilai dari output pengabdian dimana adanya peningkatan pemahaman guru terkait literasi sains serta penggunaan media maupun platform penguatan kemampuan literasi sains. Abstract

The learning of mathematics in elementary school is a mandatory subject that students must master. In mathematics, there are many topics to learn, one of which is whole numbers. Whole numbers play an essential role in students' daily lives, especially in their early understanding of numbers. This study aims to develop interactive teaching materials to enhance the mathematical concept comprehension of fourth-grade elementary school students on whole numbers up to 10,000. The research method used is Design and Development (D&D) with the ADDIE model approach (Analyze, Design, Develop, Implement, Evaluate). The results indicate that the developed teaching materials meet the criteria of being highly feasible according to subject matter experts, design experts, and teaching practitioners, with an average validation percentage exceeding 97%. The implementation of these materials among students showed a significant improvement in understanding, as reflected by an average N-Gain score of 0.96 (high category). These teaching materials were designed using digital applications with visually engaging displays, integrating interactive learning activities that are relevant to students' needs and the curriculum. This study concludes that the teaching material "Reading and Writing Whole Numbers up to 10,000" is effective in supporting active and enjoyable mathematics learning while enhancing students' motivation.

Abstract

Pembelajaran berdiferensiasi merupakan pendekatan pembelajaran yang memfokuskan keterbukaan serta kebebasan pada siswa untuk memenuhi kebutuhan belajarnya dengan pemberian kebutuhan , minat dan gaya belajar yang berbeda pada siswa. Pembelajaran berdiferensiasi sudah seharusnya diterapkan di semua mata Pelajaran yang ada di sekolah dasar, termasuk pembelajaran Pendidikan Pancasila. Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah mengetahui sejauh mana perkembangan pembelajaran berdiferensiasi pada mata Pelajaran Pendidikan Pancasila di Sekolah dasar. Penelitian ini merupakan literature review dengan menggunakan metode PRISMA (Preferred Reporting Items for Systematic Reviews and Meta-analyses). Hasil penelitia menunjukkan bahwa telah banyak dilakukakknya penelitian dengan topik yang serups khusunya di Sekolah Dasar.

Abstract

This research is motivated by the problem of the low level of mastery of mathematical concepts regarding multiplication of whole numbers up to 100 in elementary school students in phase B. Based on the findings of an initial study conducted in an elementary school, as well as the results of a review of various previous studies, it was found that one of the causes was the learning process that had not integrated the use of contextual and relevant learning materials to students' lives. To overcome this problem, it is necessary to have teaching materials based on a mathematical approach, namely the RME-based "KOPER" learning material which is made for the material on multiplication operations of whole numbers up to 100. The choice of the word "KOPER" is taken from the syllables contained in the sentence "Multiplication Concept" which is the content of the learning material which is adjusted to the principles of the RME approach. This study aims to examine whether the implementation of RME-based “KOPER” learning materials has an effect on improving the ability to understand mathematical concepts of elementary school students in Phase B, in the topic of multiplication of whole numbers up to 100. The research method used is quantitative with a quasi-experimental design in the form of a non-equivalent control group design. The subjects of this study were third-grade elementary school students, divided into two groups: a control group and an experimental group, each consisting of 20 students. Data collection was carried out using test instruments in the form of pre-tests and post-tests. The results of this study indicate that the implementation of the “KOPER” learning material oriented towards Realistic Mathematics Education (RME) has an effect on improving students' ability to understand concepts, especially the multiplication material in elementary school students in phase B.
