Abstract

The research aims to explore the correlation between peer social support and academic resilience among 137 Grade XI students at Istiqlal Private High School, Deli Tua, during the 2024/2025 academic year, using a quantitative correlation research design. A sample of 34 students was randomly selected, and data was collected through a validated questionnaire with a Cronbach's alpha value of 0.894. Analysis was conducted using normality tests, linearity tests, and product-moment correlation tests with SPSS software, showing a significance value of 0.000, indicating a significant relationship. The Pearson correlation coefficient was 0.765, suggesting a strong relationship between peer social support and academic resilience. The study concludes that higher peer social support leads to increased academic resilience among students.

Abstract

Gadgets are one of the results of technological developments that have sophisticated capabilities, where the wider community cannot be separated from one group of gadget users. This research aims to determine self-control of gadget dependence among Nurul Hasanah students in the 2023/2024 academic year. The method used in this research is a quantitative method. This type of research is Quasi-experimental with a Pre test-post test one group design type. The subjects in this research were 6 students in class VIII-3 who had high gadget dependency scores. The instrument used is the gadget dependency scale. Instruments were given before and after the implementation of group counseling services. The data were analyzed using the Wilcoxon test to see whether there was an effect of providing self-control technique group counseling services on student gadget dependence. This was obtained from the results of calculations with the initial test score (pre-test) in the experimental group obtained an average of = 102.14 while the post-test data obtained an average of = 66.36. The results of this research can be obtained from the Wilcoxon test which shows that in the Wilcoxon test obtained J count = 9 while J table = 0. From the table of critical values J for the Wilcoxon test is marked with the power n=6, α= 0.05 in accordance with the acceptance and rejection criteria hypothesis then the hypothesis is accepted if Jcount > Jtable, namely Jcount>Jtable where 9 > 0, from this calculation it can be seen that the treatment in the experimental group means the hypothesis states that there is a significant influence of providing group counseling services on self-control techniques on gadget dependence in class VIII students - 3 at Nurul Hasaniah School Medan for the 2023/2024 academic year can be accepted.

Abstract

Kecerdasan interpersonal adalah kemampuan menciptakan, membangun dan mempertahankan suatu hubungan antar pribadi (sosial) yang sehat dan saling menguntungkan Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh layanan bimbingan kelompok denga teknik role playing terhadap kecerdasan interperonal siswa kelas XI MAN 2 Deli Serdang T.A 2024/2025. Layanan bimbingan kelompok dengan pendekatan role playing berperan penting dalam meningkatkan kecerdasan interpersonal siswa. Melalui penerapan teknik ini, siswa diharapkan mampu mengatasi berbagai hambatan, seperti kurang mampu membangun dan menjalin hubungan, berempati dengan orang lain, kurang percaya diri saat berinteraksi dan kurang mampu mengelola konflik. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kuantitatif dengan desain pre-eksperimen one group pretest-posttest design dengan bantuan dari program SPSS version 23.00 for windows. Populasi dalam penelitian ini berjumlah 105 siswa, dan sampel diambil secara purposive sampling sebanyak 10 siswa yang memiliki tingkat interaksi sosial rendah. Hasil analisis data menunjukkan nilai signifikansi (2-tailed) sebesar 0.011 dan nilai uji t sebesar 3.200, yang menunjukkan bahwa layanan bimbingan kelompok dengan teknik role playing memiliki pengaruh yang signifikan terhadap kecerdasan interpersonal siswa. Dengan demikian, dapat disimpulkan bahwa intervensi ini efektif dalam membantu siswa mengembangkan kecerdasan interpersonal yang lebih baik. Temuan ini diharapkan dapat menjadi acuan bagi guru BK dalam merancang layanan bimbingan yang sesuai untuk meningkatkan kecerdasan interpersonal siswa di sekolah.

Abstract

Emotion is a person's reaction to a situation. Emotions can be pleasant feelings such as joy, happiness, love and laughter. A person who has good emotional regulation can behave positively and benefit themselves and others. This study aims to determine the effect of group guidance using role playing techniques on the emotional regulation of students at MTs Al-Washliyah Jati Rejo. The method used in this study is pre-experimental research. The research design uses one group design pretest and posttest, namely the existence of a group that is given treatment preceded (pretest) before treatment and (posttest) after treatment. The population in this study were all class VIII MTs as many as 30 students. The researcher will use 10 students as research samples taken based on the results of the questionnaire that has been given and based on certain criteria. The instrument used in this study is a questionnaire. The data obtained are then calculated using statistical assessment. So that the results of the calculated t value are greater than the t table, namely (5.626> 2.262) indicating that the relationship between the two variables is positive. The significance value of 0.00 is smaller than the significance level of 0.05 (0.00 < 0.05), which indicates that the research hypothesis is accepted. Thus, the Role Playing Technique Group Guidance Service on Students' Emotional Regulation is proven.

Abstract

This study aims to: (1) analyze the effect of the basic motor learning model based on neuro-motor training on the neural efficiency of elementary school students, and (2) analyze its effect on the motor performance of elementary school students. The study used a quantitative approach with a quasi-experimental design (pretest–posttest control group design). The study subjects were 60 elementary school students divided into an experimental group (n = 30) and a control group (n = 30). Data were collected using neural efficiency tests and motor performance tests, then analyzed using descriptive statistics and Analysis of Covariance (ANCOVA) with pretest scores as covariates. The results showed that the neural efficiency score of the experimental group increased significantly from pretest (M = 62.40; SD = 6.85) to posttest (M = 78.65; SD = 6.12), higher than the control group (M = 6.10). The ANCOVA test showed a significant effect of the learning model on neural efficiency (F = 18.72; p < 0.001; partial η² = 0.25). In addition, the motor performance of students in the experimental group also increased significantly compared to the control group, with the effect size being in the medium to large category. The conclusion of this study shows that the basic movement learning model based on neuro-motor training is effective in improving the neural efficiency and motor performance of elementary school students, and is recommended as a physical education learning approach based on neuroscience and empirical evidence
