Abstract

This study aims to determine the impact of the co-19 pandemic on the tourism industry, especially tourism and entertainment revenue as well as the performance of tourism employees in Jakarta. The research method used is a quantitative research method with composite reliability analysis, cronbach's alpha, average variance extracted, t test and r square using Partial Least Square (PLS) Structural Equation Model (SEM). The population in this study were all tourism employees in Jakarta using simple random sampling data obtained amounted to 93. There is a significant influence of the covid-19 pandemic on the performance of tourism employees in Jakarta. The longer the covid-19 pandemic, the more influence on the decline in the performance of tourism employees. The most dominant of covid-19 pandemic indicator is the inherent risk of covid-19 transmission compared to other indicators such as massive testing, equipment availability and health protocols. The most dominant of employee performance indicator is task performance by way of work from home and work from office when compared to other indicators such as adaptive performance or contextual performance. Temporary closure of tourist attractions and entertainment has a negative impact on the decline in tourism employee performance such as employee reductions, salary deduction and incentives and layoffs. There is a significant influence of the co-19 pandemic on the revenue of tourist attractions in Jakarta. The longer of covid-19 pendemic, the more influence on income decreases tourist attractions. The most dominant indicator of tourist and entertainment revenue is the amount of original regional revenue from the tourism and entertainment tax sector. There is a significant influence of tourist attraction revenue on the performance of tourism employees in Jakarta. Revenue of tourist attractions decreases, then the effect on the decline in the performance of tourism employees. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah metode penelitian kuantitatif dengan analisis composite reliability, cronbach’s alpha, average variance extracted, uji t dan r square menggunakan Partial Least Square (PLS) Structural Equation Model (SEM). Populasi dalam penelitian ini adalah seluruh karyawan pariwisata di Jakarta dengan menggunakan simple random sampling diperoleh data berjumlah 93. Pengaruh yang signifikan pandemik pandemik covid-19 terhadap kinerja karyawan pariwsata di Jakarta. Semakin lama pandemik covid-19, maka semakin berpengaruh pada penurunan kinerja karyawan pariwisata. Indikator pandemik covid-19 yang paling dominan adalah resiko inheren penularan covid-19 dibandingkan dengan indikator lainnya seperti massive testing, equipment availability dan protokol kesehatan. Indikator kinerja karyawan yang paling dominan adalah kinerja tugas atau task performance dengan cara work from home and work from office apabila dibandingkan dengan indikator lainnya seperti kinerja adaptif atau adaptive performance and kinerja kontektual atau contextual performance. Penutupan sementara tempat wisata dan hiburan berdampak negatif pada penurunan kinerja karyawan pariwisata seperti pengurangan karyawan, pemotongan gaji dan insentif serta pemutusan hubungan kerja (PHK). Pengaruh pandemik covid-19 terhadap pendapatan tempat wisata di Jakarta. Semakin lama pendemik covid-19, maka semakin berpengaruh pada penurunan pendapatan pendapatan tempat wisata. Indikator pendapatan tempat wisata dan hiburan yang paling dominan adalah jumlah penerimaan asli daerah dari sektor pajak wisata dan hiburan. Pengaruh pendapatan tempat wisata terhadap karyawan pariwsata di Jakarta. Pendapatan tempat wisata semakin menurun, maka berpengaruh pada penurunan kinerja karyawan pariwisata. Abstract

Abstract Population health is one of the some challenging in global security. This trend poses new challenges and opportunities for global public health, which is centrally concerned with identifying and addressing threats to the health of vulnerable populations worldwide. Rapid population growth has to be controlled by amount and equalization by demographic. Demographic policy no doubt lies within the national jurisdiction of sovereign states. The resolution of demographic policy has to be resolved between countries. All the countries have a role to play in setting goals, and with the cooperation with WHO and WTO. Multilateral cooperation are needed to create global security to promote health for its population globally. Keywords: Population, Health, Cooperation, Multilateral Abstrak Kesehatan penduduk adalah salah satu dari berbagai tantangan dalam keamanan global. Tren tersebut menghadirikan tantangan dan peluang baru bagi kesehatan masyarakat global, yang secara menyeluruh berkaitan dengan identifikasi dan penanganan ancaman terhadap kesehatan populasi yang rentan di seluruh dunia. Pertumbuhan penduduk yang cepat harus dikendalikan oleh jumlah dan pemerataan demografis. Kebijakan demografis tidak diragukan lagi terletak pada yurisdiksi nasional masing – masing negara. Resolusi kebijakan demografis harus diselesaikan antar negara. Semua negara memiliki peran untuk dilakukan dalam menetapkan tujua dengan bekerja sama dengan WHO dan WTO. Abstract

Smart City di susun Walikota Bekasi sebagai konsep kota cerdas yang bisa membantu masyarakat setempat mengelola sumber daya yang secara efektif dan efisien meningkatkan kualitas hidup orang-orang yang tinggal di Wilayah Bekasi. Artikel ini bertujuan untuk menjelaskan strategi komunikasi pemerintah kota Bekasi dalam upaya menyukseskan Program Bekasi Smart City di Kota Bekasi. Konsep yang digunakan ialah program komunikasi dan strategi komunikasi. Metode yang digunakan yakni deskriptif kualitatif, dengan melakukan wawancara pada 5 informan, observasi, dan studi dokumentasi. Hasil dari penelitian ini mengungkapkan bahwa strategi komunikasi pemerintah kota Bekasi menyukseskan program ialah melalui sosialisasi. Secara umum sosialisasi dilakukan (1) Pihak pemerintah kepada tim pelaksana, (2) Tim pelaksana kepada dinas terkait, (3) Dinas terkait kepada masyarakat. Meski upaya melalui strategi komunikasi sudah dilakukan, namun implementasi Program dinilai belum optimal. Hal ini disebabkan kurangnya pemahaman pihak terkait mengenai program Bekasi Smart City.

Abstract

The Free West Papua Campaign is an organization that massively campaigns on social media Twitter and its website to garner support from the international community regarding Papuan independence, one of its efforts is to conduct campaigns in cyberspace with a narrative supporting the United Liberation Movement for West Papua (ULMWP) to become full member of the subregional organization MSGin the hope that this membership status can strengthen ULMWP's political maneuvering in bringing the issue of an independent Papua to the international level. The purpose of this study was to find out how the campaign carried out by the Twitter account @FreeWestPapua and how other Twitter users responded to the campaign. The research used is a qualitative research by juxtaposing the study of literature with data from social media Twitter and the freewestpapua.org. The results show that the Free West Papua Campaign uses ideologically or cause oriented campaigns and uses a campaign model in the form of a componential campaign. The response from Twitter users is more dominated by following instructions on hashtags rather than the message they want to convey.   Keywords: Free West Papua Campaign, Melanesia Spearhead Group, Campaign, ULMWP   Abstrak   Free West Papua Campaign merupakan organisasi yang secara masif melakukan kampanye di media sosial Twitter dan situs webnya untuk menggalang dukungan dari masyarakat internasional terkait kemerdekaan Papua, salah satu upayanya adalah melakukan kampanye di ruang siber dengan narasi mendukung United Liberation Movement for West Papua (ULMWP) menjadi anggota penuh organisasi subregional MSG dengan harapan status keanggotaan tersebut dapat memperkuat manuver politik ULMWP dalam membawa isu Papua merdeka dalam tataran internasional. Tujuan penelitian ini untuk mengetahui bagaimana kampanye yang dilakukan oleh akun Twitter @FreeWestPapua dan bagaimana respons pengguna Twitter lainnya terhadap kampanye tersebut. Penelitian yang menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif dengan menyandingkan antara studi literatur dengan data-data dari media sosial Twitter dan situs web freewestpapua.org. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa Free West Papua Campaign menggunakan kampanye jenis ideologically or cause oriented campaigns dan menggunakan model kampanye berupa komponensial kampanye. Adapun respons dari pengguna Twitter lebih didominasi mengikuti instruksi tentang tagar daripada pesan yang ingin disampaikan.   Kata kunci: Free West Papua Campaign, Kampanye, Melanesia Spearhead Group, ULMWP

Abstract

Keterbukaan media sosial membuat para penggunanya bebas bereksplorasi, membangun personal branding agar dapat lebih dikenal dan mendapat kepercayaan di hati masyarakat, dengan menggunakan media sosial Instagram sebagai alat komunikasipolitik. Metode yang digunakan adalah kualitatif deskriptif, dengan teknik pengumpulan data wawancara, observasi, dan dokumentasi. Penelitian ini menggunakan Teori Khalayak Kepala Batu untuk melihat bagaimana aktivitas komunikasi politik dalam Instagram @mastriadhianto. Hasil pada penelitian ini menunjukan Tri Adhianto melakukan komunikasi politik melalui media sosial Instagram, media tersebut dapat menjadi suatu usaha membangun citra diri seorang tokoh politik untuk mendapatkanmasa dan dukungan dari masyarakat, dalam hal tersebut beliau mencari popularitas dan elektabilitas. Pada akun Instagramnya @mastriadhianto menonjolkan 6 dari 8 konsep personal branding yaitu Kepemimpinan (The Law of Leadership), Kepribadian(The Law of Personality), Terlihat (The Law of  visibility), Kesatuan (The Law of Unity), Keteguhan (The Law of Persistence) dan Nama Baik (The Law of   Goodwill). Konsep personal branding yang tidak terlalu ditampilkan Tri Adhianto di akun Instagram@mastriadhianto adalah Spesialisasi (The Law of Specialization) dan Perbedaan (The Law of    Distinctiveness).

Abstract

Utilization of technology by state actors to convey political messages should be able to reach various parties to be involved in digital diplomacy carried out on social media. However, the digital diplomacy of the Indonesian Minister of Foreign Affairs Retno Marsudi through her Twitter account @Menlu_RI has not been able to establish two-way communication and does not involve domestic parties. This study uses a qualitative approach using a social media analysis tool in the form of Foller.me. The results of the study indicate that the delivery of messages on digital diplomacy on the Twitter account @Menlu_RI has not been effective because it does not involve domestic parties and the lack of use of hashtags so that there is no two-way communication. The suggestion for this research is that the digital diplomacy of the @Menlu_RI Twitter account should maximize the use of hashtags and involve domestic parties, especially ministries or officials related to issues or political messages to be conveyed.

Abstract

The alleged case of voter data leakage in the General Election Commission's (KPU) Sidalih application occurred ahead of the 2024 elections, the voter data was allegedly traded on BreachForums by an anonymous account. Responding to the alleged case, the political communication of the KPU and the Election Supervisory Board (Bawaslu) through the Twitter (X) social media account is very minimal, even the KPU did not convey its attitude at all on its Twitter social media account. This study aims to determine how the KPU RI and Bawaslu RI utilize Twitter (X) social media as a strategic communication tool and how to utilize Twitter (X) social media in responding to the alleged leakage of KPU's data. The research method used is a qualitative research method with a case study. The results showed that the lack of information about the alleged leakage of KPU data conveyed by KPU RI and Bawaslu RI through their Twitter social media channels, this was also exacerbated by the absence of dialogic communication on uploads related to the alleged leakage. The suggestion of this research is that KPU RI and Bawaslu RI need to optimize their political communication through Twitter social media management by consistently providing the latest information related to the alleged leakage of KPU data as well as building dialogical communication with the public or netizens. In addition, it is also necessary to improve the security infrastructure of the Sidalih application.

Abstract

Terrorism has experienced the development of the actors involved in it. Children are targets and new actors are being targeted to become cadres by terrorists, specifically by the Islamic State of Iraq and Syria (ISIS). The May 13, 2018, incident, the suicide bombing that occurred in Surabaya, East Java, involved four children as perpetrators. Four children who are siblings named Fadhil, Firman, Fadhila, and Famela have succeeded in creating public concern which creates a feeling of insecurity. This paper aims to analyze efforts to involve children as terrorist actors in the 2018 Surabaya Bombing case. The method used is a descriptive qualitative research method. Researchers collect primary data through interviews and secondary data from journals, books, and other writings on related issues. The results of this study found that the involvement of children as perpetrators of terror could occur after the child passed the six steps of the ladder for someone to become a terrorist by Fathali Moghaddam. The use of children as terrorists is due to several considerations, ranging from low cost, being able to attract media attention to being effective in physically touching targets.

Abstract

This research was conducted to analyse the use of OSINT and cyber counterintelligence in investigating cyber espionage operations using Advanced Persistent Threat (APT). Indonesia as one of the victims of cyber espionage conducted by Australia, raises the urgency of preventing cyber espionage. The purpose of this research is to answer the questions of how the utilisation of OSINT in the prevention of cyber espionage and how cyber counterintelligence can prevent cyber espionage. This research uses a qualitative method with case study on APT groups affiliated with China. The results of the analysis of cyber espionage cases conducted by I-SOON and its affiliates, which were then carried out by cyber counterintelligence efforts and investigations through OSINT with dorking techniques, can find a comprehensive picture of cyber espionage operations carried out by I-SOON, including operating practices and the underlying motivation for cyber espionage.
