Abstract

Planning from various aspects is crucial in running a business. Planning is done so that an entrepreneur can achieve optimal results and profit. One type of planning that can be utilized in line with the increasingly widespread development of digital marketing is from the side of Social Media and the Financial Management Plan. But unfortunately, not many entrepreneurs, either those who are just starting a business or are currently running a business, apply this type of planning. In fact, by using good planning, an entrepreneur can maximize brand promotion and financial management that they manage. The community service team provides templates and training on the utilization/use of the Social Media Plan and Financial Management Plan Templates to students interested in entrepreneurship (studentpreneurs). The training was conducted through Zoom Meetings at three universities in Southeast Asia (Universitas Negeri Jakarta – Indonesia, Universiti Malaysia Sabah – Malaysia, and Valaya Alongkorn Rajabhat University – Thailand). As many as 85.7% of participants have never used a template similar to a Social Media Plan; 2) There are 77.1% of participants who have never used a template such as a Financial Management Plan; 3) 100% of participants felt that the two templates were handy, and they were interested in using the templates.

Abstract

This community service is aimed to teach students about the important role of financial literacy in shaping students' understanding of personal financial aspects. The participants of this activity is students of the Faculty of Economics, Universitas Negeri Jakarta. To teach financial literacy to students, the research team invited a lecturer speaker and a speaker from Finansialku as a digital financial application to give knowledge about about financial planning, investment, and debt management. The outcome of this event is the findings that provide insight into the effectiveness of financial literacy training and its potential impact on students' financial lives. Abstrak Pengabdian masyarakat ini bertujuan untuk mengajarkan kepada mahasiswa tentang peran penting literasi keuangan dalam membentuk pemahaman mahasiswa terhadap aspek keuangan pribadi. Peserta kegiatan ini adalah mahasiswa Fakultas Ekonomi Universitas Negeri Jakarta. Untuk mengajarkan literasi keuangan kepada mahasiswa, tim peneliti mengundang pembicara dosen dan pembicara dari Finansialku sebagai aplikasi keuangan digital untuk memberikan pengetahuan mengenai perencanaan keuangan, investasi, dan pengelolaan utang. Hasil dari kegiatan ini adalah temuan yang memberikan wawasan tentang efektivitas pelatihan literasi keuangan dan potensi dampaknya terhadap kehidupan keuangan mahasiswa.

Abstract

The aim of this study is to improve knowledge and skill about financial literacy, especially for woman who take the most responsibilities to manage finance in her household. Attended by 13 housewives, the method used in this activity is; first, explanation using power point slides and LCD projector; second, experience sharing and discussion; distributing quetionaire to measure their level of financial literacy, discussed about their characteristics on investment and what kind of product which is suit to their ability to accept risk. Held on May 7, 2017, the community service is funded by DIPA BLU Faculty of Economics, Universitas Negeri Jakarta. The result shows that only few participants understand how to measure their financial health and what kind of investment products that suit to their characteristics as an investor.

Abstract

Without good financial planning, it will not be easy to achieve all of one's financial goals in the future. The purpose of this community service is to teach students how to manage finances so that they can understand personal financial planning and be wise in managing their finances. This activity is aimed at students of the Faculty of Business, Economics, and Accountancy Universiti Malaysia Sabah and students of the Faculty of Economics and Management Universiti Kebangsaan Malaysia. Knowledge of financial planning will be taught by a lecturer and a speaker from Finansialku as a digital financial application to introduce how to use the application for financial planning. The result of this event is that students need to have sufficient and good financial literacy in order to be able to prepare their financial condition for the future.

Abstract

MSME empowerment needs to be done to improve MSME’s welfare. This community service team intends to provide training for MSME so they can improve their product and income. The target of this empowerment is MSMEs around the East Jakarta Industry, Trade, Small and Medium Enterprises Cooperative Office in Cakung District, East Jakarta. The training material is presented in the form of material presentation by resource persons followed by discussion. This community service activity proved to be able to provide an understanding of Islamic banking and product.

Abstract

This study examined the effect of women executives on bank risk in banks listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange between 2017 and 2021. Women executives served as the independent variable. The dependent variable was bank risk, which is a proxy for non-performing loans and capital adequacy ratio. The financial statements of banks listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange from 2017-2021 were used as the data source. This study used the purposive sampling method to select the sample. Panel data with the fixed effect model approach was applied in this study as the research model. According to the findings, women CEOs do not significantly affect non-performing loans and capital adequacy ratios. This is because there are no regulations requiring gender equality on company management boards, particularly in Indonesian banks, as well as challenges from social society toward women.

Abstract

This study aimed to determine the effect of agency cost on the performance of firms listed in the Kompas100 index on the Indonesia stock exchange for the 2016-2021 period. In determining the sample, this research applied the purposive sampling method. This study used a sample of 46 companies and managed a total of 248 observations. The findings indicated a negative and significant impact of agency cost on firm performance. Companies with a high agency cost tend to reduce the performance. Mitigating these adverse effects requires the implementation of robust internal controls, transparent reporting mechanisms, and effective corporate governance practices.

Abstract

Analisis jabatan merupakan suatu proses dalam manajemen sumber daya manusia yang bertujuan untuk memahami secara menyeluruh tugas, tanggung jawab, kualifikasi, dan persyaratan yang terkait dengan suatu posisi pekerjaan. Dalam konteks ini, analisis jabatan sekretariat redaksi memiliki peran penting dalam memahami tugas dan tanggung jawab seorang sekretaris redaksi dalam sebuah perusahaan media atau penerbitan serta menyajikan tinjauan tentang proses analisis jabatan sekretariat redaksi, termasuk langkah-langkah yang terlibat dalam pengumpulan data dan informasi terkait posisi tersebut. Analisis jabatan sekretariat redaksi mencakup aspek uraian pekerjaan, dan spesifikasi pekerjaan. Melalui analisis jabatan sekretariat redaksi, organisasi dapat memperoleh pemahaman yang lebih baik tentang peran dan tanggung jawab seorang sekretaris redaksi. Informasi yang diperoleh dari analisis jabatan ini dapat digunakan untuk menyusun deskripsi pekerjaan yang akurat, membantu dalam rekrutmen dan seleksi kandidat yang sesuai, serta memberikan dasar untuk pengembangan program pelatihan dan pengembangan karir bagi sekretaris redaksi yang ada.

Abstract

Research is an important activity for Higher Education. Higher Education always encourages its lecturers and students to conduct useful research for the society. The importance of improving the quality of basic research skills for students is the background of this activity. This Community Service activity aims to provide insight and understanding related to the use of research supporting tools such as VOSviewer, Publish or Perish, and Mendeley. This activity involved students from the Faculty of Economics Universitas Musi Rawas and the Faculty of Economics and Business, Universitas Muhammadiyah Prof. Dr. HAMKA as the participant. The method of organizing this activity is a classical approach such as demonstrations from speakers, and interactive discussions with participants. The conclusion of the activity is that participants' insights and understanding of VOSviewer, Publish or Perish, and Mendeley have increased. Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh struktur kepemilikan terhadap return saham pada perusahaan sektor keuangan yang terdaftar di Bursa Efek Indonesia (BEI) Periode Tahun 2019-2022. Variabel independen yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini yaitu struktur kepemilikan yang diproksikan dengan kepemilikan manajerial, kepemilikan institusional, dan kepemilikan asing. Sedangkan variabel terikat yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini yaitu return saham. Pada penelitian ini juga menggunakan variabel kontrol berupa ukuran perusahaan dan Debt to Equity Ratio (DER). Jumlah sampel perusahaan yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah 33 perusahaan dengan rentang waktu pengamatan selama 4 tahun sehingga menghasilkan observasi sebanyak 132 sampel. Metode pengambilan sampel yang digunakan yaitu purposive sampling. Penelitian ini menggunakan program Eviews 12 untuk analisis regresi data panel. Model yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah regresi data panel dengan pendekatan Fixed Effect Model (FEM). Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa kepemilikan manajerial berpengaruh positif dan signifikan terhadap return saham. Kepemilikan institusional berpengaruh negatif dan signifikan terhadap return saham. Kepemilikan asing mempunyai pengaruh positif tetapi tidak signifikan terhadap return saham. Penelitian ini memiliki keterbatasan yaitu jangka waktu pada sampel penelitian yang digunakan relatif singkat dan sampel yang digunakan hanya sektor keuangan sehingga pada penelitian selanjutnya diharapkan memperpanjang waktu penelitian hingga sepuluh tahun dan menambah sampel perusahaan dengan menggunakan sampel dari sektor lain.
