Abstract

Abstract

The Sasak people of Lombok Island, West Nusa Tenggara, are rich in oral traditions that have been passed down from generation to generation. One of these traditions is Lelakaq, a form of traditional poetry that embodies cultural values, history, and local wisdom. The aim of this study is to conduct a semiotic analysis of Lelakaq as an ethnolinguistic inquiry and to explore its implementation in learning practices. This research employed a descriptive qualitative approach. The participants included cultural leaders, community members, teachers, and students. Data collection instruments consisted of checklists, observation sheets, interview guidelines, and tests. Data were gathered by compiling Lelakaq poems from various sources, distributing response questionnaires, and conducting in-depth interviews to confirm and strengthen findings. In addition, tests were administered to evaluate students’ conceptual understanding and cultural literacy. Data analysis applied Barthes’ semiotic approach to the poems, narrative descriptive analysis for interviews and student responses, and simple statistical analysis for test results. The findings reveal that Lelakaq poetry of the Sasak community serves multiple functions: aesthetic, social, cultural, and educational. Semiotic analysis indicates that students found it easier to grasp denotative meanings compared to connotative ones, with an average score of 74.88 (Good category). Specifically, 32% of students achieved Excellent, 24% Good, 32% Fair, and 12% Poor. Triangulation of data highlights a generational gap in understanding cultural symbols, underscoring the need for creative strategies and integration of Lelakaq into learning processes to foster cultural literacy, strengthen local identity, and enhance conceptual comprehension

Abstract

Analyze the efficiency levels of Himbara banks after receiving Rp200 trillion in funds from the Ministry of Finance. Compare the efficiency levels between Himbara banks in the periods before and after the fund placement policy. Identify internal factors that influence the efficiency of government fund management at Himbara banks. This study uses a quantitative approach with the non-parametric Data Envelopment Analysis (DEA) method. This approach was chosen because it can measure the relative efficiency between decision-making units (DMUs) without requiring specific production function assumptions (Charnes, Cooper, & Rhodes, 1978). DEA allows researchers to evaluate the ability of Himbara banks to efficiently convert inputs (resources) into outputs (intermediation results). The analysis was conducted for the period 2024–2025, covering conditions before and after the placement of IDR 200 trillion in funds from the Ministry of Finance. To analyze factors influencing efficiency, the Tobit regression model was used. Data Envelopment Analysis (DEA) results show that the Rp200 trillion injection of funds was only effective in increasing efficiency at already productive banks (BRI, Mandiri, and BTN), while BNI still exhibited inefficiency due to its inability to convert additional funds into proportional credit growth and interest income. This indicates the need for improvements in credit distribution strategies, operational cost management, and risk management so that the injection of public funds truly has an optimal impact on efficiency and economic growth. Tobit Regression results indicate that bank efficiency in Indonesia tends to increase if banks have strong capital adequacy, good asset quality, and optimal intermediation capabilities. Conversely, increasing NPLs and excessive asset expansion can be factors that reduce efficiency. Therefore, future banking policy strategies need to focus on improving asset quality, cost efficiency, and implementing effective governance across all bank scales

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the effect of digital marketing on increasing brand awareness in online businesses in Indonesia. The research method used is associative quantitative research with a multiple linear regression approach. Data were collected through an online questionnaire distributed to 120 respondents, namely active consumers who have interacted with online businesses in Jakarta, Bandung, and Surabaya. The results show that social media activities and digital advertising have a positive and significant effect on brand awareness, with t-values of 8.214 and 6.745, respectively (p-value <0.05). The coefficient of determination (R2) of 0.684 indicates that 68.4% of the variation in increased brand awareness is explained by digital marketing factors, while the remaining 31.6% is influenced by other variables outside the model. These findings support the digital marketing theory proposed by Kotler and Keller (2021), which states that effective digital strategies can expand brand reach, increase consumer engagement, and build long-term loyalty. The practical implications of this study suggest that online business actors need to optimize their digital marketing strategies by integrating social media, paid advertising, and creative content relevant to the target market. In addition, consistency of brand identity across various digital platforms is a key factor in increasing consumers’ brand recall. Overall, this study confirms that digital marketing plays an important role as a strategic instrument in building and strengthening brand awareness in the digital economy era.

Abstract

The quality of learning in higher education is largely determined by the availability of systematically designed learning tools based on learning outcomes. One of the main tools required for lecturers is the Semester Learning Plan (RPS) and Student Worksheet (LKM), which align with the Outcome-Based Education (OBE) approach and the Independent Learning–Independent Campus (MBKM) policy. However, various obstacles remain in developing RPS and LKM in accordance with these standards, particularly among permanent lecturers at the Lombok Business Academy. This Community Service activity aims to implement the latest RPS development model and LKM development through a learning tool development workshop. The activity implementation method uses a participatory approach through the stages of needs analysis, planning, workshop implementation, mentoring, evaluation, and follow-up. Participants are permanent lecturers at the Lombok Business Academy. Data collection techniques include pre- and post-tests, assessments of RPS and LKM products, and participant satisfaction questionnaires. The results of the activity show a significant increase in lecturers' understanding of OBE-based RPS development and LKM development. Furthermore, all participants successfully produced revised lesson plans (RPS) and student worksheets (LKM) in accordance with current standards. Participants' responses to the implementation of the activity were also very positive, both in terms of materials, methods, and mentoring. This activity had a positive impact on improving lecturer competency and strengthening the quality of learning at the Lombok Business Academy. Thus, this activity proved effective in enhancing lecturers' abilities to develop high-quality learning tools oriented towards student learning outcomes.
