Abstract

This study aims to explore the use of Grammarly in supporting writing accuracy among fourth-semester students of the English Learning Program at UIN Madura. This research employed a qualitative case study design involving nine students. Data were collected through observation, interviews, and documentation. The findings revealed that Grammarly helped students improve grammar, punctuation, spelling, and sentence structure. In addition, students showed positive perceptions toward Grammarly because it was easy to use and assisted them in revising their writing. However, some students tended to depend on the application without fully understanding the corrections. Therefore, Grammarly can be used as a supportive tool to enhance students’ writing accuracy. Abstract

This study was motivated by the low level of engagement and understanding of numeracy concepts among early childhood learners due to conventional and less interactive learning methods. This study aimed to analyze the effectiveness of Interactive Flat Panel (IFP)-based digital learning in improving early childhood numeracy skills. This study also examined differences in numeracy abilities before and after the implementation of IFP and its influence on children’s engagement and understanding of numeracy concepts. The study employed a quantitative approach using a pre-experimental one group pretest-posttest design. The subjects were children aged 5–6 years at TK Budi Luhur Sugio. Data were collected through observation, tests, and documentation. Data analysis techniques included descriptive statistics, paired sample t-test, and Pearson correlation test. The results showed that Interactive Flat Panel (IFP)-based digital learning was effective in improving early childhood numeracy skills. There was a significant difference between pretest and posttest results after the implementation of IFP. The use of IFP also had a positive influence on children’s engagement and understanding of numeracy concepts during the learning process. Interactive technology-based learning media were able to create a more active, interesting, and enjoyable learning atmosphere for children.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the level of availability of facilities and infrastructure as well as students’ interest and talent in table tennis at SMA Negeri 10 Medan. The focus of the study includes: (1) the condition and availability of table tennis facilities and infrastructure in schools, (2) the level of utilization of table tennis facilities in the learning process, (3) students’ interest in table tennis, and (4) students’ talent in participating in learning activities and table tennis sports activities. This research employed a quantitative descriptive method with a survey approach. The research subjects consisted of 30 students of SMA Negeri 10 Medan. Data collection techniques were carried out through observation, questionnaires, and documentation. The research instruments were prepared based on indicators of facilities and infrastructure, students’ interest, and talent in table tennis. Data analysis was conducted using percentage techniques to determine the research result categories. The results showed that the availability of table tennis facilities and infrastructure at SMA Negeri 10 Medan was categorized as good and supported the sports learning process at school. In addition, students’ interest in table tennis was also categorized as good, indicated by students’ enthusiasm in participating in learning and practical activities. Students’ talent in table tennis showed fairly good results, where several students demonstrated basic abilities that have the potential to be developed through more directed and continuous training. Therefore, it can be concluded that the availability of adequate facilities and infrastructure has a positive relationship with the improvement of students’ interest and talent in table tennis at SMA Negeri 10 Medan.

Abstract

The problem in this research is the low level of activity, critical thinking skills and student learning outcomes. This is because the learning process still applies teacher centered learning, and students have difficulty understanding non-fiction text material in Indonesian language subjects. An effort to overcome this problem is by implementing the ROBOT learning model which is a combination of the Problem Based Learning, Cooperative Integrated Reading and Composition, and Talking Stick models. The aim of this research is to increase teacher activity, student activity and student learning outcomes. This research used Class Research (PTK) which was carried out in 4 meetings. The subjects of this research were class V students at SDN Simpang Empat, Kertak Hanyar District, Banjar Regency, totaling 24 students consisting of 15 male students and 9 female students, in semester 2 of the 2023/2024 academic year. This research uses a qualitative approach. The data taken is qualitative data obtained through observing teacher activities, student activities and then using quantitative data for student learning outcomes obtained through group and individual written tests. The results of this research show that the teacher's activity at meeting 4 received a score of 23 with the criteria "Very Good". Student activity at meeting 4 obtained a percentage of 88% with the criteria "Very Active". For classical completeness, students' reading comprehension learning results at meeting 4 obtained a percentage of 100% with the "Complete" criterion. Based on the results of this research, it can be concluded that the use of the ROBOT model can improve the quality of teacher activities, student activities and student learning outcomes

Abstract

This study examines how the Two Stay Two Stray (TSTS) cooperative learning model is implemented in Pancasila Education classes at grade VI of SDN 1 Tanjung Makmur. Data were collected through participatory observation, in-depth interviews with teachers, students, the principal, and parents, and document analysis. The entire process followed a qualitative case study design. TSTS implementation unfolded through four stages, namely heterogeneous group formation, group discussion, stay-stray rotation, and synthesis. Each stage produced distinct interaction patterns, psychological dynamics, and teaching challenges. Three contextual factors shaped implementation quality, namely teacher facilitation skills, group dynamics, and students' prior communicative ability. The stay-stray rotation proved to be the most demanding stage, and also the most pedagogically rich, requiring students to draw on cognitive, communicative, and emotional readiness at once. Of all the findings, one stands out there is a natural fit between how TSTS works and what Pancasila values ask of students. Learning through TSTS is, in practice, a direct exercise in mutual cooperation, deliberation, and respect for difference. The study contributes a process-oriented understanding of TSTS that moves beyond outcome measurement, and points to practical directions for developing teachers' facilitation skills in civic and character education.

Abstract

Background: Dribbling ability is a fundamental technical skill in futsal that is strongly influenced by physical components. However, many regional futsal athletes still demonstrate suboptimal dribbling performance,which is assumed to berelated to insufficient agility, speed, and eye-foot coordination. Previous studies have generraly examined these variables separately, leaving a gap in simultaneous analysis. Purpose: This study aimed to determine the relationship between agility, speed, and eye-foot coordination with dribbling ability of futsal athletes in Trenggalek Regency, both partially and simultaneously. Methods: A quantitative correlational design with a cross-sectional approach was used involving 20 male futsal athletes selected through total sampling. Agility was measured using the Illinois Agility Test, speed with a 30-meter sprint test, eye-foot coordination through a wall-passing test, and dribbling ability using a zig-zag dribbling test. Data were analyzed using Spearman Rank correlation at a significance level of 0.05. Results: The findings showed that agility had a significant positive correlation with dribbling ability (ρ = 0.455; p = 0.044), while speed (ρ = 0.291; p = 0.213) and eye-foot coordination (ρ = 0.266; p = 0.256) were not significantly related. Conclusion: Agility is the most influential factor affecting dribbling ability among the variables studied. Implication: Coaches are recommended to prioritize agility training while still integrating speed and coordination exercises to improve overall dribbling performance.

Abstract

This study is motivated by the dominance of transmissive learning models in Islamic Religious Education, where teachers are positioned as the central source of knowledge and students as passive recipients. Such a model is considered insufficient for developing students’ critical awareness of social reality. This study aims to analyze the concept of critical consciousness in Paulo Freire’s Critical Pedagogy and Kuntowijoyo’s Transformative Islamic Education based on prophetic social science, compare both traditions systematically, and formulate an integrative synthesis model. This research employs a qualitative approach with library research as its method. The data were obtained from the primary works of Paulo Freire and Kuntowijoyo, as well as relevant scholarly journal articles. The data were analyzed using content analysis and comparative analysis based on eight dimensions: philosophical roots, concept of consciousness, educational goals, learning methodology, concept of praxis, role of learners, spiritual dimension, and orientation of social change. The findings show that Freire’s Critical Pedagogy and Transformative Islamic Education share several common points, including their rejection of transmissive education, emphasis on dialogue, integration of reflection and action, and positioning of learners as active subjects of social transformation. However, they differ fundamentally in terms of epistemology, spirituality, and the concept of freedom. This study proposes the Liberation-Transcendence Model, which integrates conscientization with tafakkur, praxis with the unity of knowledge and action, liberation with humanization and transcendence, and dialogue with halaqah. This model offers a conceptual framework for developing Islamic Religious Education that is critical, contextual, transformative, and transcendentally oriented.

Abstract

The professionalism of educational counselors faces complex challenges in the contemporary era, where student issues are not merely psychological but are also critically related to learning dynamics. This article aims to analyze the integration of psychology, pedagogy, and counseling as an interdisciplinary approach to enhancing the professionalism of educational counselors. This approach posits that these three disciplines do not operate in isolation but are mutually complementary; psychology provides the foundation for understanding developmental stages and personality dynamics, pedagogy offers context regarding how students learn and interact within the educational system, while counseling supplies the techniques and professional relationships necessary for intervention. Through a literature review utilizing a conceptual synthesis approach, this article demonstrates that interdisciplinary integration is capable of improving comprehensive assessment skills, designing contextual interventions aligned with learning needs, and strengthening collaboration with other educational stakeholders. In conclusion, the professionalism of educational counselors cannot be viewed solely through the mastery of counseling techniques; it must also encompass pedagogical literacy and depth of psychological analysis. Recommendations are proposed for counselor education institutions to reform their interdisciplinary-based curricula, and for practitioners to continuously develop their collaborative capacity within the school environment

Abstract

The research entitled "Development of Interactive Powerpoint Learning Media in the Science Subject of Renewable Energy Material to Improve the Learning Outcomes of Fourth Grade Students of UPTD SDI Nunbaun Delha" focuses on the development of Interactive PowerPoint media on Renewable Energy material, which is motivated by the low learning achievement of fourth grade students of UPTD SDI Nunbaun Delha in the 2025/2026 academic year. Using the Research and Development (R&D) method with the ADDIE model, this study aims to produce valid, practical, and effective media. The trial was conducted on 78 students through a Quasi-Experimental design of the Non-equivalent Control Group type. Data were collected through expert validation, student response questionnaires, and learning outcome test instruments. The research findings confirm that this media meets the validity criteria of 89.40% (Very Valid) and a practicality level of 87.36% (Very Practical). Statistical analysis showed a significance value of 0.000 < 0.05, thus concluding that this interactive PowerPoint media is highly feasible and effective in boosting student learning outcomes in science subjects.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the use of the Canva application in improving students’ learning creativity in Catholic Religious Education learning at SMP St. Antonius Bangun Mulia. This study used a qualitative research method with a descriptive approach. Data collection techniques were carried out through observation, interviews, and documentation. The informants in this study consisted of Catholic Religious Education teachers and ninth-grade students. The results showed that the use of Canva was able to improve students’ learning creativity through fluency, flexibility, originality, and elaboration thinking skills. In addition, Canva helped create learning activities that were more interesting, interactive, and enjoyable so that students became more active and motivated in participating in the learning process. Teachers were also able to utilize Canva as a digital learning medium that supports the teaching and learning process. The use of Canva in Catholic Religious Education learning had a positive impact on students’ creativity, participation, and self-confidence in presenting their work in front of the class.
