Abstract

 BEEMA Brownies, a snack manufacturer, has started producing snacks in the form of Brownies-flavored Choco Chips and several other flavors made from good quality ingredients without artificial sweeteners and preservatives. Even though in the middle of a pandemic, we are still optimistic that we can capture a sufficient consumer market because the market need for healthy snacks is still very much needed. With the implementation of Phase 1 activities, namely the provision of production equipment, namely ovens, product packaging tools and 2 sets of baking sheet equipment, the current production capacity of Beema Brownies has increased from a maximum of 150/package per day with an average product requirement of around 100-200 packs/sold. day to 300/pack per day using the 2 ovens that you already have. Training on the use of the equipment provided has also been carried out so that BEEMA production employees are able to use the newly provided oven equipment and packaging equipment. The amount of production has been able to meet the average demand every day. BEEMA Chocochips has also increased the HR capabilities of 2 employees who help produce in an effort to increase the amount of Chocochips production. By having a website for UKM BEEMA Chocchips, they already have the means for digital identity and digital promotional content for their products so that they are known to the wider community. Abstract

Lack of access to information about writing scientific papers, classroom action research and numeric literacy. This causes a lack of professional teachers who produce scientific papers, classroom action research and numeric literacy. PGRI Yogyakarta University is one of the universities that has a professional education program department, there are still several professional teachers who have not written scientific work. classroom action research and numeric literacy. Even though there are already professional teachers who have carried out the writing of works. There are still many teachers who are too busy teaching and preparing material every day which means teachers no longer have time to write work. Based on these problems, the method used is an academic seminar to increase teacher professionalism through scientific work, classroom action research, and numeric literacy. The results of the analysis stated that there were changes that occurred in teachers after participating in academic seminar activities. An understanding of the professionalism of elementary school teachers through writing scientific papers, classroom action research and numeracy in learning which was previously ignored makes writing works interesting. Abstract

The banana commodity is one of the prioritized commodities in Gunung Kidul Regency. The Young Farmers' Studio and Youth Organization “Solid Berkarya” in Serut Village are trying to develop banana plants by managing critical land into productive land using smart-farming irrigation systems. The concept of smart farming includes using technology such as sensors, connected devices (IoT), data analytics, artificial intelligence, and agricultural management software to create an efficient farming system. The irrigation system needs to apply optimization of timing and intensity tailored to the needs of the plants. The geographical terraced land conditions require unique methods to maximize agricultural yields. In banana cultivation, geographical conditions, climate, soil conditions, and water availability are crucial, so the community's knowledge and skills in irrigation on critical land must be improved. Therefore, banana irrigation training is conducted in this community service, especially related to water availability optimization. In this training, the participant's level of knowledge is measured by conducting pre-tests and post-tests related to irrigation optimization materials. From the test results, it can be seen that there is an increase in community knowledge from 6.44 before training to 9.0 after training. Thus, there is an increase in knowledge by 53.4%. Abstract

The rapid development of MSMEs is not matched by the responsive attitude of MSME leaders. One of the problems faced by MSMEs is MSME Partner Konveksi Ibu Semi, where in terms of financial management, these MSMEs do not implement continuous recording of money inflows and outflows. This problem requires a strategy in the form of financial management assistance, including recording business cash flow and better separating personal and business finances. The method used is Action Research by providing understanding and training in the simple recording of cash flows using Excel. The steps performed include 1) the preparation step; 2) Implementation of service activities; 3) Evaluation and closure phase; 4) Comments. The results of this service are: 1) Partners can systematically apply simple cash flow recording and separate personal and business finances. 2) Partners are very enthusiastic and feel helped by the training on simple cash flow recording, as partners feel the benefits of being able to minimize. financial management errors; 3) Creating sound and clear corporate financial management, as we have consistently well implemented simple cash registers. Abstract

This research aims to design and develop an efficient and effective cassava-cutting machine for use by MSME players in Miri, Bulu, Polokarto, Sukoharjo Regency. Cassava is one of the important natural resources in the region, and cutting cassava manually often takes significant time and effort. The research method used is a field survey to identify the needs and problems faced by MSMEs in Miri sub-village. The results of this survey became the basis for designing a cassava-cutting machine that suits local conditions. This machine is designed by considering aspects of ergonomics, efficiency, and user safety. The results showed that the designed cassava cutting machine can cut cassava quickly and accurately, reducing the time and effort required in the cutting process. In addition, this cassava-cutting machine has the potential to increase the productivity of MSMEs. With the use of this machine, it is expected to reduce heavy manual labor and allow MSME players to focus on other more value-added activities. This research is a positive contribution to supporting the development of MSMEs in Miri sub-village and can be a model for the development of similar machines in other areas. Abstract

Pembelajaran yang efektif dan efisien membutuhkan evaluasi yang baik dan tepat. Evaluasi harus dilakukan dilaksanakan sebaik mungkin untuk menghindari kesalahan mengukur dan mengevaluasi perkembangan hasil belajar siswa melalui instrumen yang tepat dan sesuai. Kemampuan guru dalam membuat instrumen evaluasi pembelajaran masih harus dikembangkan. Oleh karena itu, tim Pengabdian kepada Masyarakat Program Studi Pendidikan Matematika Universitas PGRI Palembang melakukan kegiatan Pelatihan Penyusunan Instrumen Evaluasi Pembelajaran Bagi Guru SMK Negeri 1 Baturaja Kabupaten Komering Ulu Sumatera Selatan. Kegiatan diikuti oleh 30 orang guru dan dilaksanakan secara daring juga luring. Pada akhir kegiatan peserta dapat memahami tentang evaluasi pembelajaran dan dapat menyusun instrumen evaluasi pembelajaran sesuai kurikulum.

Abstract

Knowledge about adolescent reproductive health plays an important role where adolescent attitudes are greatly influenced by knowledge about reproductive health. Lack of knowledge about reproductive health can have an impact on risky sexual behavior. It is hoped that education for adolescents can increase knowledge and skills in maintaining adolescent health. Some ways to make teenagers understand more about their health is by getting health information or education, such as counseling about reproductive health, youth counseling, or hanging out with peers. The aim of the activity is to increase knowledge about adolescent reproductive health using brainstorming and counseling methods. This activity was attended by 2nd semester students with a total of 30 participants and was held on June 29th and July 1st 2024 at PGRI University Yogyakarta. The results of this activity show that the brainstorming method is more effective in influencing a person's understanding and health education for late adolescents is carried out as a promotive effort to increase the knowledge and attitudes of adolescents to create overall healthy adolescents. Abstract

Batik is a product that has become Indonesia's cultural identity. As a batik city, Pekalongan continues to strive to improve the quality of batik products so that Indonesian batik does not become extinct. One of the things that makes batik attractive is its motifs and colors. Through its appeal, batik will increasingly exist and become global. In line with the problems that exist in the batik industry, namely the problem of production time efficiency, this community service aims to provide solutions to problems in the batik industry in order to save or reduce production time, especially in the batik industry. color dyeing stage, while maintaining the quality of the batik. The dyeing process carried out by the batik industry which is the activity partner, namely Perkumpulan Kampoeng Batik Kauman and Kampung Wisata Batik Pesindon, still uses traditional dyeing techniques, so that through a batik dyeing machine solution called a feeder machine, the batik production process at the dyeing stage can be made easier. The results of this service activity were achieved with evidence of a success rate based on evaluation results reaching 87.4% as a dyeing tool innovation that had an impact on efficiency and with a color dyeing printing time of around 20-30 minutes on one 2x1m sheet of paper. cloth. Furthermore, the results of using the feeder machine are visible in the even coloring results and the batik wax does not break. This means that apart from being an efficiency solution, the feeder machine also improves the quality of batik.

Abstract

The area of agricultural land around urban areas is getting smaller due to conversion to residential expansion which can no longer be controlled. Rice cultivation can also be done in polybags placed in the yard. The community service is entitled "Assistance in the use of urban residential yards through cultivation in polybags". The service was carried out in the Agroshop garden, Faculty of Agriculture, PGRI University Yogyakarta. This service aims to develop productive economic activities of farmers through cultivating rice in polybags for use in home gardens in urban settlements. The service method is carried out through counseling activities, training and rice cultivation practices including making planting media, planting, maintaining and harvesting. The results of the service showed that 60 polybags with a size of 40 x 40 cm had been filled with planting media. The average rice yield per polybag is 150 g of milled dry grain per clump. The service findings show that rice cultivation in polybags has great potential to be developed in urban residential yards in the context of national food self-sufficiency. Abstract

Permasalahan utama pada Komunitas Belajar (Kombel) Al Sasa Gema di SDN Sarirejo 1 adalah rendahnya produktivitas budidaya ikan nila akibat kurangnya pengetahuan dan keterampilan dalam pembuatan pakan berkualitas serta pengelolaan budidaya ikan secara efektif. Tujuan pengabdian ini adalah untuk meningkatkan produktivitas budidaya ikan nila melalui penerapan Teknologi Tepat Guna (TTG) dan pendampingan berkelanjutan, sehingga para guru dan siswa dapat memproduksi pakan ikan berkualitas tinggi dari bahan baku lokal serta mengoptimalkan pengelolaan budidaya ikan nila. Metode pengabdian meliputi perencanaan, sosialisasi, pelatihan pembuatan pellet ikan, penerapan teknologi, pendampingan intensif, dan evaluasi. Kegiatan dimulai sosialisasi dan pelatihan pada guru dan tenaga pendidik tentang budidaya ikan nila dan pembuatan pakan, diikuti dengan penerapan teknologi secara langsung di lapangan, serta pendampingan berkelanjutan untuk memastikan implementasi yang efektif. Hasil yang dicapai menunjukkan peningkatan signifikan dalam pemahaman dan keterampilan para mitra dalam memproduksi pakan ikan nila secara mandiri menggunakan alat TTG-APPIN, yang berdampak peningkatan kapasitas produksi ikan nila di sekolah. Evaluasi program mengungkapkan respon positif dari para mitra, dengan sebagian besar menyatakan bahwa program ini berhasil meningkatkan kemampuan mereka dan mendukung keberlanjutan budidaya ikan nila di lingkungan sekolah. Program berhasil menjadikan SDN Sarirejo 1 sebagai model sekolah percontohan penerapan teknologi tepat guna bidang budidaya perikanan.
