Abstract

Abstract. This study explores the ethical frameworks and guidelines in digital education research and their impact on the protection of children's rights, compared to traditional research methods. It highlights the urgency of developing robust ethical frameworks that integrate international conventions on children's rights, such as the UNCRC, to guide the design, deployment, and governance of digital educational technologies. The study also examines the critical challenges posed by AI, including algorithmic bias, data privacy issues, and the developmental suitability of AI tools. While comprehensive ethical models and policy guidelines have been proposed, significant gaps remain between these ideals and their practical implementation, especially on commercial EdTech platforms. Furthermore, the study discusses the progressive shift toward participatory, child-centered research methodologies that prioritize children's agency and authentic digital experiences. The analysis also delves into the ethical concerns surrounding AI in education, advocating for human-centered AI design, transparency, and critical AI literacy programs for children, educators, and families. In addition, the study calls for comprehensive regulatory frameworks and collaborative efforts among stakeholders to ensure the responsible and ethical use of technology in education. The study concludes by emphasizing the need for a holistic approach that integrates ethical guidelines, participatory research methods, strong AI protection, and comprehensive policy enforcement to create a fair and empowering digital learning environment for children.

Abstract

Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mengenalkan dan menerapkan media pembelajaran puzzle dalam meningkatkan kemampuan membaca permulaan peserta didik di sekolah dasar. Dengan adanya penelitian ini, dapat diketahui pentingnya keterampilan membaca sejak dini bagi peserta didik kelas awal, karena membaca merupakan dasar dari semua proses pembelajaran dan komunikasi tertulis. Membaca membantu anak dalam mengenali huruf, membentuk kata, memahami makna kalimat, serta memperluas kosakata. Media puzzle sebagai alat bantu belajar dapat melatih peserta didik untuk lebih fokus, aktif, dan tertarik dalam mengenal huruf dan kata melalui kegiatan menyusun gambar atau huruf yang membentuk kata bermakna. Media ini juga memberikan pengalaman belajar yang menyenangkan dan melibatkan interaksi langsung dengan materi pembelajaran. Penelitian ini menjelaskan pula pentingnya peran guru dalam memilih dan menerapkan media pembelajaran yang tepat agar tercipta proses belajar yang efektif dan tidak membosankan. Populasi dalam penelitian ini adalah peserta didik kelas I SDN Ganggang Panjang Tanggulangin Sidoarjo, dengan jumlah sampel sebanyak 30 peserta didik. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode kuantitatif jenis Pre Experimental dengan rancangan One Group Pretest- Posttest Design. Teknik analisis dalam penelitian ini menggunakan uji normalitas (Shapiro–Wilk) dan uji paired sample t-test dengan bantuan program IBM SPSS Statistics untuk menguji pengaruh media puzzle terhadap kemampuan membaca permulaan peserta didik.

Abstract

This study analyzes the concept of preparing cognitive-diagnostic assessment instruments that are responsive to the different learning needs of elementary school students through a systematic literature review approach based on PRISMA 2020. From the initial 300 articles, ten selected studies were analyzed in depth to examine the theoretical basis, development procedures, validity, reliability, and responsiveness of the instruments to the diversity of students' cognitive abilities. The results of the synthesis show that effective diagnostic instruments generally emphasize misconception detection, conceptual understanding, and reasoning processes through the use of multi-tier formats, digital assessments, and adaptive approaches. Various studies report that valid and reliable instruments are able to improve the accuracy of teacher diagnosis and support differentiated learning. However, challenges are still found in the form of low differentiation of certain questions, limitations of implementation in the classroom, and lack of optimal integration of assessments into follow-up strategies. These findings confirm the need for a conceptual model of instruments that is more adaptive, comprehensive, and aligned with today's learning needs.

Abstract

Penelitian ini dilatarbelakangi oleh permasalahan rendahnya motivasi belajar siswa pada mata pelajaran IPAS. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh penggunaan  media youtube  terhadap motivasi belajar siswa pada mata pelajaran Ilmu Pengetahuan Alam dan Sosial (IPAS) di kelas V SD Negeri 137 Palembang. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode kuantitatif dengan jenis quasi eksperimen dan desain posttest-only control. Sampel penelitian terdiri dari dua kelas, yaitu kelas eksperimen yang menggunakan media  youtube vidio dan kelas kontrol yang tidak menggunakan media tersebut. Teknik pengumpulan data yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah observasi, angket dan dokumentasi. Teknik analisis data yang digunakan adalah uji independent simple t-test. Hasil dari penelitian ini, uji hipotesis menunjukkan bahwa ???????> ?????? atau 30,826 > 1,753 maka dapat disimpulkan bahwa H0ditolak Ha diterima. Hal ini berarti pengaruh media youtube sebagai media pembelajaran mampu meningkatkan motivasi belajar siswa pada mata pelajaran IPAS di SD Negeri 137 Palembang.

Abstract

This study aims to describe the implementation of Pancasila values and attitudes in the development of Higher Order Thinking Skills (HOTS) and Lower Order Thinking Skills (LOTS) questions for elementary school students in Phase B. The research employs a descriptive qualitative approach using the library research method, referring to various scientific sources such as journal articles, academic textbooks, and curriculum documents. The findings show that LOTS focuses on basic thinking abilities, including remembering, understanding, and applying (C1–C3), while HOTS involves higher-order thinking abilities such as analyzing, evaluating, and creating (C4–C6). The integration of Pancasila values into the construction of HOTS and LOTS questions plays a crucial role in fostering students’ national character, morality, and humanity. Therefore, the development of HOTS- and LOTS-based assessment instruments grounded in Pancasila values can assist teachers in creating meaningful, active learning processes that emphasize character building.

Abstract

The aim of this study is to describe the dominant learning style, supporting factors, and the role of teachers in adjusting teaching strategies. The research method used is a descriptive qualitative approach. The techniques and instruments for data collection are observation, interviews, and documentation. The research subjects are 21 students selected through purposive sampling, as well as the fifth-grade teacher. Data analysis refers to Miles & Huberman’s interactive model, including data collection, reduction, narrative presentation, and conclusion drawing, with technique and source triangulation to ensure validity. The results obtained are: (1) the auditory learning style is the most dominant; five out of nine students fall into this category, with higher average mathematics scores compared to visual and kinesthetic styles; (2) supporting factors include interest, motivation, independent study habits, self-regulation, teacher strategies, learning media, the physical classroom environment, and remedial support; (3) teachers play an important role in adjusting teaching methods through varied approaches, although challenges remain in implementing differentiated learning. In conclusion, the auditory learning style dominates and contributes positively to mathematics learning outcomes. These findings are expected to serve as a reference for mathematics teachers in developing varied learning media tailored to students’ learning styles.

Abstract

This study aims to describe the strengthening of the Pancasila Learner profile through the application of the Value Clarification Technique (VCT) Model type of self-experience in learning Pancasila Education at Elementary School. The research method used is descriptive qualitative with data collection techniques through observation, in-depth interviews, and documentation. The results showed that the VCT model of self-experience type was effective in improving the understanding and internalization of Pancasila values among students. Learning planning is carried out by compiling teaching modules that are in accordance with Pancasila values and implementing experiential learning strategies. The implementation of this model is proven to shape learners' character, increase their awareness of Pancasila values, and instill an attitude of mutual cooperation, independence, and devotion to God Almighty. Evaluation is done through reflection of learners' experiences, direct observation, and formative tests. The implication of this research is that the use of the VCT model can be an effective approach in building the profile of Pancasila learners in a more in-depth and applicable manner in the elementary school environment.

Abstract

Penelitian ini mengkaji secara mendalam Peran Media Pembelajaran Interaktif dalam Mengatasi Kesulitan Belajar Matematika Siswa Sekolah Dasar. Pendidikan di Sekolah Dasar (SD) merupakan pondasi penting, namun seringkali mata pelajaran Matematika dianggap sulit dan abstrak, yang menimbulkan Kesulitan Belajar pada sebagian besar siswa. Kesulitan ini dapat berupa hambatan dalam memahami konsep dasar, prosedur, dan pemecahan masalah. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode studi literatur (literature review) dengan tujuan menganalisis peran media pembelajaran interaktif dalam mengatasi kesulitan belajar matematika siswa. Prosedur penelitian dilakukan dengan mengidentifikasi kata kunci, melakukan pencarian sumber pada database dengan rentang publikasi tahun 2020–2025, menyeleksi sumber, dan menganalisis isi (content analysis) dari berbagai literatur yang relevan. Hasil analisis literatur menunjukkan bahwa Media Pembelajaran memiliki peran strategis sebagai solusi efektif. Media pembelajaran interaktif, baik yang berbentuk konkret (alat peraga manipulatif) maupun digital (aplikasi interaktif dan animasi), berfungsi sebagai jembatan yang menghubungkan konsep abstrak matematika dengan pengalaman belajar yang lebih nyata dan sesuai dengan tahap operasional konkret siswa SD. Penggunaan media ini terbukti dapat meningkatkan pemahaman konsep, motivasi belajar, dan keterlibatan aktif siswa, serta mengurangi kecemasan yang sering muncul saat menghadapi matematika.Secara keseluruhan, media pembelajaran interaktif berkontribusi langsung terhadap peningkatan pemahaman,motivasi, dan kepercayaan diri siswa. Oleh karena itu, integrasi media pembelajaran yang terencana dan kontekstual merupakan kebutuhan pedagogis untuk meminimalkan hambatan dan meningkatkan kualitas pemahaman matematika siswa Sekolah Dasar.

Abstract

The use of digital media is currently lacking, despite adequate facilities. Teachers often use notebooks and whiteboards. The purpose of this research is to develop digital media in the form of audio-visual storytelling based on local wisdom for second-grade elementary madrasah subjects.The method used in this development is the Research and Development (R&D) method. The ADDIE model used has five stages: Analysis, Design, Development, Implementation, and Evaluation. The research instruments used were validation sheets, student response questionnaires, and student activity questionnaires. The research subjects used were second-grade students of Muhammadiyah 1 Elementary madrasah, Sukodadi with the number students 30.The results of the study show that: (1) audio-visual learning media for illustrated stories based on local wisdom are very valid to use, as evidenced by the validation results of media experts 88%, design experts 90%, and material experts 85%, all validation results by experts are categorized as very valid. (2) audio-visual learning media for illustrated stories based on local wisdom are very practical to use, as evidenced by the results of limited trials and field trials by obtaining a percentage of limited trials of 81% and field trials of 88%.

Abstract

Curriculum developmentis a key element in education, especially at the elementary school level. The curriculum must be able to respond to the challenges of the times andprepare students with comprehensive 21st-century competencies.This study uses a literature review method with a descriptivequalitative approach to examine innovative strategies in the development of the elementary school curriculum. The main focus is on the application of innovative learning modelssuch as Student Centered Learning (SCL), Problem BasedLearning (PBL), and Project Based Learning (PjBL), which emphasizecreativity, collaboration, and active student involvement. Curriculum developmentis not only technical in nature, but also contains anticipatory values towardssocial change and technological advances. The success of curriculum innovation is highlydependent on collaboration between stakeholders, including teachers,students, principals, and the community. The implementation of this innovation strategyis expected to improve the quality of learning, character development, andlife skills of students. This study emphasizes the importance of implementing innovation and sustainability strategies in response to globalchallenges and changing times in order to achieve better education.
