Abstract

This study aims to develop an Interactive Learning Media assisted by Google Sites for the topic of Energy and Energy Sources in Everyday Life for Grade IV students at SDN 05 Indralaya. The type of research used is Research and Development (R&D), employing the ADDIE development model, which in this study includes only four stages: Analysis, Design, Development, and Implementation. The subjects of this study were 18 fourth-grade students from class IV C at SDN 05 Indralaya. The result of the research is a learning media product supported by Google Sites. Based on the media validation results assessed by validators, the total score for media aspects from the media expert was 90%, categorized as “Highly Valid.” The material expert gave a score of 93.75%, also categorized as “Highly Valid,” and the practitioner expert gave a score of 94.64%, also categorized as “Highly Valid.” Student responses after small-group and large-group product trials with 18 fourth-grade students at SDN 05 Indralaya showed scores of 95% for the small group and 97.22% for the large group, both categorized as “Very Attractive.” Based on these assessments, it can be concluded that the interactive learning media assisted by Google Sites is highly valid and feasible to be used as a learning medium in the teaching and learning process at school.

Abstract

This Classroom Action Research aims to improve narrative writing skills using a series of pictures as media among fourth-grade students in the Indonesian language subject at the elementary school level. The research employed a qualitative descriptive method, involving 11 fourth-grade students of SD Negeri 02 Nobal in the 2023/2024 academic year as research subjects. Data collection techniques included teacher and student observation, tests, and interviews. Data analysis was conducted using the Miles and Huberman model. The results of the study are as follows: (a) The use of picture series media in the learning process was effective, as evidenced by student learning activities in Cycle I with an average of 55.76% (categorized as fair). In Cycle II, the average student activity increased to 84.54% (categorized as good), indicating an improvement of 28.78%. (b) Students’ learning outcomes from the narrative writing test in Cycle I showed an average score of 61.82 with a classical completeness of 63.63% (fair category), while in Cycle II, the average score rose to 83.62 with a classical completeness of 90.9% (very good category). (c) Students responded very positively to the use of picture series media, as evidenced by their enjoyment of learning Indonesian using this medium.

Abstract

This study aims to (1) explore the structure of nature-based curricula in South Papua, (2) explore the implementation of nature-based curricula in South Papua, and (3) determine the role of nature schools in promoting environmental sustainability in South Papua. The research method used is a qualitative approach with a case study conducted at nature schools in South Papua. Three schools implementing nature-based curricula were selected as samples. Data were collected through observation, questionnaires, and interviews, and analyzed qualitatively. The findings indicate that (1) the curriculum is an integrated combination of the K-13 Curriculum and the Gotong Royong Curriculum, emphasizing thematic, collaborative, and experiential learning approaches; (2) the implementation of the curriculum is reflected in various school activities such as classifying and recycling waste, cultivating natural resources—such as fish, sago, and rice—and processing and marketing them. Moreover, environmental preservation is implemented through local wisdom, which characterizes the unique curriculum of nature schools in South Papua; and (3) nature schools function as centers for environmental conservation and for raising students’ environmental awareness in South Papua. Students’ awareness of the need to protect sources of raw materials and to limit the harmful impact of human waste are two key areas emphasized in the nature-based school curriculum.

Abstract

The utilization of digital technology in elementary education is increasingly necessary to address the challenges of conventional learning methods, which may not be engaging enough for students. This study aims to develop the microsite s.id as a learning media for IPAS (Social Sciences and Natural Sciences) with a focus on the history and culture of Indonesia for third-grade elementary school students. The development model used is an adaptation of Richey and Klein’s framework, which includes the stages of analysis, design, development, and evaluation. The product was validated by two validators, an expert in content and an expert in media, with validation percentages of 87% and 91%, respectively, classified as "very feasible." The microsite s.id is equipped with interactive features such as videos, e-worksheets, digital readings, and liveworksheet-based LKPD (Student Worksheet) to enhance student engagement and motivation. The microsite s.id has been proven to be highly suitable for use in IPAS learning in elementary schools

Abstract

This study was conducted to determine the effect of the discovery learning model assisted by flashcard media on the mathematics learning outcomes of students with dyscalculia. The data collection techniques included tests and non-tests. The research approach used a quasi-experimental design with a nonequivalent control group design. The population consisted of 103 students, with a sample of 51 students selected using purposive sampling. The results showed a significance value of <0.001<0.05, meaning H0 was rejected and Ha was accepted. This indicates that the use of the discovery learning model assisted by flashcard media has an effect on the mathematics learning outcomes of students with dyscalculia.

Abstract

The purpose of this study was to examine the impact of the song Satu Nusa Satu Bangsa on the learning motivation of fifth-grade students at SD Negeri 29 Nenak Tembulan, Sintang, West Kalimantan. The study employed a qualitative research design using a taxonomic analysis approach. The research subjects included teachers, school administrators, students of SD Negeri 29 Nenak Tembulan, and experts in education and music learning. Data collection was carried out through perception-based observations and music listening activities. Data were analyzed through field observations and by examining the students' conditions in the classroom while listening to the song Satu Nusa Satu Bangsa. The results indicated that, based on observations, students showed seriousness and spontaneously sang Satu Nusa Satu Bangsa. After listening to the song, students' learning motivation increased, as evidenced by their enthusiasm in singing and internalizing the message of the song. Following the singing activity, students appeared more refreshed, more enthusiastic about receiving lessons, and more prepared for learning activities. This study offers insights for classroom teachers, suggesting that listening to or singing a national song before beginning a lesson can positively impact students' learning motivation.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the application of scientific ethical principles in maintaining research integrity in the digital era. The method used is a literature review with a descriptive-analytical approach, collecting and analyzing 75 relevant articles (2020–2024) from scientific journals and academic publications. The findings highlight the importance of scientific ethics—honesty, transparency, and accountability—amid challenges such as plagiarism and data manipulation driven by digitalization. Higher education institutions play a crucial role in instilling ethical values, though implementation gaps remain. Technology offers solutions through anti-plagiarism software. In conclusion, scientific ethics enhance research credibility and institutional reputation. Recommendations include strengthening ethics training and utilizing technology to support research transparency.

Abstract

Children prefer accessing digital games via smartphones over traditional games. This phenomenon occurs not only in large cities but also in remote areas of Indonesia. Therefore, this study aims to determine teachers' planning for developing communication and collaboration skills, to determine the implementation stages of developing communication and collaboration skills, and to determine teachers' strategies for developing communication and collaboration skills in Rawu Elementary School students. This study employed a descriptive qualitative research method. Data collected in this study included interviews, observations, and documentation. The results showed that the teachers' planning was structured and appropriate to students' needs. Furthermore, the implementation stages of the traditional game Gobak Sodor improved communication and collaboration skills. The strategies developed by the teachers to improve communication and collaboration skills were effective.

Abstract

The lack innovation among teachers in learning is a major factor contributing to a boring classroom atmosphere, causing students to often have difficulty learning certain materials. The purpose of this study was to improve the learning outcomes of elementary school students by using Quizizz media. This study was conducted at SDN Candipari II Porong. It used a true experimental design and was a quantitative study. The research sample consisted of 40 fourth-grade students, with data collected using simple random sampling and multiple-choice test. The results showed that, compared to the posttest scores of the control class using the lecture method, the experimental class using Quizizz media had superior student learning outcomes. The application of the Quizizz educational game in learning has a significant positive effect on elementary school student’s learning outcomes and can strengthen students’ cognitive skills through an interactive and fun gamification approach. Success is influenced by students who are actively involved in games and competitions, which makes them enthusiastic about the learning process.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengkaji pemanfaatan aplikasi Absensi Siswa berbasis smartphone sebagai alternatif media penyimpanan hasil evaluasi pembelajaran berupa data kehadiran dan nilai siswa, sekaligus mengintegrasikan konsep literasi digital dalam kegiatan evaluasi pembelajaran di SD Negeri 2 Syamtalira Bayu. Metode yang digunakan adalah kualitatif dengan pendekatan deskriptif dan studi kasus. Subjek penelitian terdiri dari empat orang guru, yaitu dua guru kelas dan dua guru mata pelajaran, yang dipilih menggunakan teknik purposive sampling. Pengumpulan data dilakukan melalui observasi, wawancara, dan dokumentasi untuk memperoleh informasi terkait pengalaman dan manfaat penggunaan aplikasi tersebut dalam proses penyimpanan hasil evaluasi pembelajaran. Analisis data dilakukan secara bertahap melalui reduksi data, penyajian data, dan penarikan kesimpulan, serta dilengkapi dengan uji keabsahan data untuk memastikan validitas temuan. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa aplikasi Absensi Siswa berbasis smartphone efektif meningkatkan efisiensi dan akurasi pengelolaan data evaluasi pembelajaran. Aplikasi ini memenuhi kriteria media penyimpanan yang aman, mudah diakses, akuntabel, praktis, dan ekonomis. Kelengkapan fitur seperti pencadangan data otomatis dan anotasi nilai memberikan dukungan signifikan terhadap keandalan dan transparansi hasil evaluasi. Selain itu, implementasi aplikasi ini memfasilitasi penguatan literasi digital di lingkungan sekolah, sehingga mendukung peningkatan kualitas proses pembelajaran secara keseluruhan. Penelitian ini menegaskan bahwa aplikasi Absensi Siswa berbasis smartphone merupakan solusi inovatif yang layak diadopsi sebagai media penyimpanan hasil evaluasi pembelajaran di sekolah dasar.
