Abstract

This study aims to improve students’ learning outcomes and learning experiences through the implementation of the Children Learning in Science (CLIS) model in the topic of measurements and physical quantities. This research employed an experimental design involving all seventh-grade students, divided into two classes: VII-A and VII-B. Class VII-A, consisting of 21 students, was assigned as the experimental group, while Class VII-B, with 22 students, served as the control group.The results of the independent sample t-test revealed a significance value of 0.000 < 0.05, indicating a significant difference in learning outcomes between the experimental group taught using the CLIS model and the control group taught using conventional instruction. The average learning outcome score of the experimental group was 74.86, whereas the control group scored 66.77. These findings demonstrate that the CLIS model is more effective in enhancing students’ learning outcomes. In addition, the independent sample t-test results for learning experience also showed a significance value of 0.000 < 0.05, indicating a significant difference between the two groups. The average learning experience score of the experimental group was 81.61, while the control group obtained only 54.11. These results indicate that the CLIS model fosters a more meaningful, engaging, and enjoyable learning experience for students.In conclusion, the Children Learning in Science (CLIS) model is effective in improving both students’ learning outcomes and learning experiences in the topic of measurements and physical quantities.

Abstract

Cultivating nationalist character is a conscious effort to instill nationalist values in students with the goal of developing individuals with nationalist character who can apply it in their daily lives, both within the school, family, and community. Developing this character requires concerted efforts by both teachers and schools. This study aims to determine how the planning and implementation of Banten Javanese language local content learning in instills nationalistic character in class V of SDN Cipocok Jaya 2 and what the results of the Banten Javanese language local content learning are. The research method used in this study is descriptive qualitative, which seeks to understand phenomena in the form of natural objects by collecting data through triangulation. The data collection techniques employed were interviews, observation, and documentation. The data analysis techniques employed the concepts of Miles and Huberman: data reduction, data presentation, and conclusion drawing. The results of this study indicate that: 1) Teachers' learning planning in instilling nationalistic character through Bantenese Javanese language local content learning can be done by determining the teaching plan and determining efforts in instilling nationalistic character, 2) In Bantenese Javanese language local content learning there are several aspects that teachers must master, namely being able to organize students to actively learn, being able to involve Bantenese Javanese language local content learning materials with nationalistic character, involving learning resources/media, and being able to understand the learning materials, 3) As for the values of nationalistic character, they can be instilled and have been sufficiently exemplified by grade V students of SDN Cipocok Jaya 2.

Abstract

Both optimists and skeptics regarding the adoption of AI in primary education require clear evidence. The purpose of this study is to compare the contributions and weaknesses of artificial intelligence in primary schools. The method used is a systematic literature review with a light bibliometric analysis of articles from the period 2020–2025. The review focused on differentiated learning, formative assessment and feedback, explainable artificial intelligence, human loop mechanisms, and data governance. After gradual screening in accordance with PRISMA guidelines, 72 articles were analyzed thematically and mapped using keyword co-occurrence. The results show that most studies report improvements in literacy and numeracy when artificial intelligence is used as an educational strategy enhancer. With an average impact at a moderate level, the results show improvements in literacy and numeracy. Automatic feedback systems reduced teachers' routine workload by approximately 24 minutes per week and increased the frequency and accuracy of responses. While misconception detection was considered adequate, the level of agreement between artificial intelligence and teacher assessment was rated as moderate to high. However, fairness audits are uneven, teacher control features are limited, system explanations are lacking, and scientific openness is low. Research shows that artificial intelligence is most effective when it reinforces the pedagogical role of teachers and enforces students' intellectual responsibility. This can have an impact on policies regarding child-friendly explanations, strict data governance, and effective human procedures.

Abstract

Beberapa masalah yang ditemukan seperti penggunaan model serta media pembelajaran yang masih terbatas dan kurang bervariasi sehingga belum sepenuhnya mendukung proses belajar mengajar. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh model pembelajaran Kooperatif Tipe Scramble berbantu media gambar terhadap hasil belajar IPAS di Kelas V SD Negeri 022 Jaya Mukti. Jenis penelitian yang akan digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah kuantitatif dengan desain penelitian yang digunakan adalah Pre-experimental dengan desain One Group Pretest Postest. Populasi yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini sebanyak 113 siswa. Teknik pengambilan sampel yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah purposive sampling, sehingga sampel penelitian sebanyak 28 siswa. Teknik dan instrumen penelitian berupa lembar tes. Dalam pe.ne.litian ini, analisis yang akan digunakan untuk uji hipote.sis de.ngan me.nggunakan uji paired sample t-test guna untuk me.nge.tahui pe.ngaruh variabel be.bas te.rhadap variabel te.rikat. Berdasarkan analisis data dan hasil penelitian dapat disimpulkan bahwa penerapan model pembelajaran kooperatif tipe Scramble berbantu media gambar berpengaruh positif terhadap peningkatan hasil belajar IPAS siswa kelas V di SD Negeri 022 Jaya Mukti. Hal ini dibuktikan melalui hasil uji paired sample t-test yang menunjukkan nilai signifikansi sebesar 0,000 < 0,05, yang berarti Ha diterima dan Ho ditolak. Selain itu, berdasarkan perhitungan menggunakan rumus Cohen’s d untuk uji effect size, diperoleh nilai sebesar 2,72. Nilai ini menunjukkan bahwa perlakuan yang diberikan memiliki pengaruh yang sangat besar terhadap peningkatan hasil belajar siswa.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the design of the Competency-Based Curriculum (CBC) and holistic evaluation methods in primary schools, with a focus on their implementation in Indonesia and insights drawn from global practices. The research employs a systematic literature review method, analyzing 25 sources published between 2010 and 2025, selected based on their relevance to CBC and holistic assessment. The subjects of the review include journal articles, books, and official reports accessed through Google Scholar, Scopus, and local repositories. The data collection tool consisted of written documents, which were analyzed using thematic coding techniques. The findings reveal that CBC in primary schools effectively integrates cognitive, affective, and psychomotor competencies through contextual and student-centered thematic approaches. Holistic evaluation methods, such as authentic and formative assessments, are found to be more appropriate for the developmental characteristics of primary school students compared to traditional tests. However, the implementation faces major challenges, including limited teacher training, uneven infrastructure, restricted access to technology, and an educational culture still oriented toward rote learning. This study concludes that the successful implementation of CBC requires policy support, capacity-building for teachers, technological integration, and stakeholder involvement to create inclusive and sustainable primary education.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menguji efektivitas media pembelajaran flipbook dalam meningkatkan keterampilan menulis kembali teks naratif siswa kelas 5 SD Negeri Karang Ringin II. Dengan menggunakan metode kuantitatif dengan desain one group pretest-posttest. Data keterampilan menulis siswa dikumpulkan melalui pretest dan posttest. Metode analisis menggunakan uji T sampel t-test untuk mengetahui perbedaan signifikan antara kedua hasil tes. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan peningkatan signifikan pada keterampilan menulis setelah penggunaan flipbook. Rata-rata pretest adalah 32,47 meningkat menjadi 77,72 pada posttest. Uji statistik menunjukkan signifikansi 0,000 (? < 0,05) dan nilai thitung 13,045, yang lebih besar dari ttabel (1,690), sehingga disimpulkan bahwa media flipbook efektif dalam meningkatkan keterampilan menulis kembali tek naratif siswa. Implikasi dari penelitian ini adalah flipbook dapat menjadi alternatif media inovatif yang menarik untuk meningkatkan pembelajaran Bahasa Indonesia, terutama keterampilan menulis teks naratif di sekolah dasar.

Abstract

This research aims to determine the role of teachers in shaping students' discipline at MI Al-Karim Surabaya, specifically for all fourth-grade students. This research is descriptive qualitative, with the subjects being fourth-grade teachers and 24 students. The research object is the role of teachers in overcoming students' learning discipline problems. The instruments used were interviews, observation, and documentation. The research findings revealed five forms of student discipline character and four forms of teacher roles in student discipline. The five forms of student discipline character include arriving on time, wearing complete uniforms, bringing textbooks, maintaining classroom cleanliness, and leaving the classroom without permission. Then, the roles of teachers include teachers as educators, teachers as instructors, teachers as mentors, and teachers as trainers. Which, in its various roles, has a very significant impact on the development of discipline in students. This is very evident in the results of the researcher's classroom observations, where students are very obedient to the rules stated in the classroom, as I explained earlier. In addition, this study also identifies several supporting and inhibiting factors in the formation of students' disciplined character. The main supporting factors are good cooperation between teachers, students, and parents, as well as the consistent application of habituation methods, role modeling, and the provision of rewards and punishments. Meanwhile, the most frequently encountered inhibiting factors are the lack of parental supervision at home and the limited time teachers have to monitor all student activities at school. Therefore, synergy between the school and family is essential for the optimal and sustainable development of disciplined character, and the active role of teachers is crucial in shaping students' disciplined character thru consistent example, guidance, and supervision.

Abstract

This study aimed to analyze the implementation of principal academic supervision in improving the quality of teacher instruction at SD Negeri 17 Pontianak Kota. A qualitative method with a case study approach was employed. Data were collected through semi-structured interviews, direct observation, and documentation studies, and then were analyzed using the interactive analysis model of Miles, Huberman, and Saldana. The findings revealed that academic supervision was implemented systematically through three main stages: needs-based planning, collaborative implementation using multi-methods, and continuous evaluation and follow-up. This implementation had a significant impact on enhancing teachers' pedagogical and professional competencies, and it transformed teachers' perceptions of supervision from monitoring to mentoring. It was concluded that structured, collaborative, and sustainable academic supervision was effective in improving the quality of learning. The key success factors were leadership commitment, active teacher involvement, a humanistic approach, proper documentation, and resource support.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the effect of the drill method on mathematics learning outcomes of third-grade students at SD Negeri 1 Montong Tangi in the 2025/2026 academic year. This study used a quantitative approach with a pre-experimental method and a One-Group Pretest-Posttest design. The instrument was a 10-item multiple-choice test that had been tested for validity, reliability, discrimination, and difficulty level. The subjects in this study were one class that received the drill method. The results showed that the average student score increased from 37.62 in the pretest to 72.38 in the posttest. Normality and linearity tests showed that the data were normally distributed and had a linear relationship. Meanwhile, the paired samples test yielded a significance level of 0.000 < 0.05, indicating a significant difference between the pretest and posttest results. Thus, the drill method has been shown to have a positive effect on improving students' mathematics learning outcomes.

Abstract

This study examines the implementation of Classroom-Based Assessment (CBA) at Madrasah Ibtidaiyah Miftahul Ulum Toto Mulyo, focusing on three assessment dimensions: assessment as learning, assessment for learning, and assessment of learning, and their relationship to the development of students’ competencies (cognitive, affective, psychomotor, and 21st-century/4C competencies). Employing a qualitative case study approach, data were collected through in-depth interviews, classroom observations, and document analysis (rubrics, instruments, and learning outcomes). Data were analyzed interactively through data reduction, data display, and source triangulation to ensure the credibility of the findings. The results indicate that teachers have integrated several CBA principles into instructional practices, particularly in formative aspects (assessment for learning), as evidenced by frequent checks for understanding and the provision of feedback. However, the implementation of assessment as learning remains weak due to the limited use of structured reflection and self-assessment practices. In addition, assessment of learning is conducted but has not been fully standardized or made transparent to students. In terms of competencies, assessment practices tend to strengthen the cognitive domain and psychomotor aspects of religious practices, while the development of 4C competencies (critical thinking, creativity, collaboration, and communication) and consistent affective assessment still requires further reinforcement. This study recommends improving the transparency of assessment indicators, developing clear rubrics, empowering self-assessment procedures, and providing teacher training in the design and implementation of fair and learning-oriented CBA.
