DEDIKASI: Community Service Reports publishes reports on the research dissemination and community services. It is our interest to elaborate the method applied during the research dissemination and the implications of the implementation to the process, understanding, and community social economic development. This journal is published by the Faculty of Teacher Training and Education, Universitas Sebelas Maret, Surakarta Indonesia. It is expected that the journal could become a publication outlet for meaningful information about community services activities especially to the readers who want to conduct, improve, or create novel community service activities.

Abstract

Pengabdian ini ditujukan menumbuhkembangkan iklim, budaya, jiwa, dan aktivitas kewirausahaan mahasiswa serta mendorong terciptanya lulusan yang mandiri dan menjadi wirausahawan melaui program-program kewirausahaan mahasiswa. Subjek pengabdian ini yaitu mahasiswa PGSD UPI Kampus Sumedang. Adapun luaran dari pengabdian ini antara lain terwujudnya model pembinaan kewirausahaan yang efektif dalam menumbuhkembangkan iklim, budaya, jiwa, dan aktivitas kewirausahaan mahasiswa baik dari mulai penyusunan proposal, pengajuan proposal, sampai lolos didanai baik oleh kementerian ataupun universitas serta tindak lanjut dari kegiatan kewirausahaan mahasiswa.

Abstract

Kualitas pembelajaran masa pandemi belum optimal, hal ini dapat dilihat pembelajaran belum sepenuhnya mengimplementasikan pengelolaan kelas melalui media daring. Maka dari itu, guru diharapkan mampu mengimplementasikan pembelajaran kreatif dan inovatif melalui google classroom. Adanya fenomena pembelajaran daring tersebut, guru Bersama pengabdi beerjasama melakukan pelatihan secara tatap muka dengan memerhatikan protokol kesehatan secara ketat. Pelatihan pengelolaan kelas pada pemanfaatan google classroom dilalkukan di SD Muhammadiyah Ambarketawang 1, Yogyakarta. Adapun sebanyak 22 orang, baik dari guru maupun pengabdi melakuan pelatihan pada bulan Mei 2021. Teknik-teknik yang digunakan dalam tindakan ini, antara lain, memberikan informasi tentang pemanfaatan google classroom, membuat kelas, mengunggah materi, membuat presensi, dan evaluasi tugas siswa. Dari hasil survei diketahui bahwa terdapat 85% pendidik memanfaatkan aplikasi whatsapp sebagai media pembelajaran online dan 15% pengajar memanfaatkan aplikasi google classroom. Hasil pelatihan menunjukkan bahwa 23.5% guru mengatakan mudah, 64.7% sedang dan 11.8% susah.

Abstract

Pola Hidup Bersih dan Sehat (PHBS) merupakan  semua perilaku kesehatan yang dilakukan karena kesadaran pribadi sehingga keluarga dan seluruh anggotanya mampu menolong diri sendiri pada bidang kesehatan serta memiliki peran aktif dalam aktivitas masyarakat. Perilaku hidup bersih sehat pada masa pandemi Covid-19 memiliki manfaat yang sangat berpengaruh untuk mengubah kebiasaan hidup yang semakin lebih baik lagi dan dapat melindungi diri agar terhidar dari Covid-19 sehingga dengan adanya edukasi penerapan pola hidup bersih dan sehat dapat menambah pemahaman masyarakat terkait penerapan pola hidup bersih dan sehat seperti menggunakan masker, mencuci tangan, dan penggunaan hand sanitizer. Edukasi ini dilakukan secara langsung dengan membagikan masker dan hand sanitizer serta melalui media cetak seperti mmt maupun pamflet di dekitar RT 01 / RW 04, Desa Begajah dengan tetap mematuhi protokol kesehatan. Edukasi ini dilalukan sebagai program kerja kuliah kerja nyata (KKN) Covid-19.

Abstract

In 2019, the Ministry of Finance issued a Super Tax Deduction policy, a tax incentive provided by the government to businesses/industries involved in vocational education programs, including research and development activities to generate innovation. This program provides a maximum gross income reduction of up to 200% of the total costs incurred for work practices, apprenticeship, and/or vocational education learning services. This program is designed to encourage establishing a link-and-match between the world of education and industry to improve the quality of human resources produced by the education sector. Two years since its launch, the socialization of this program has not been optimal. Only a handful of industries have taken advantage of this program. Information that does not reach stakeholders causes the program not to run as expected. The tripartite workshop that brings together all stakeholders is expected to be able to share perceptions regarding the nature and technical implementation of the policy.

Abstract

The Rapid spread of Covid-19 has caused worldwide panic due to a high mortality rate. At the beginning of the pandemic, the community did not yet have an adequate understanding of what and how the virus spreads. While tell-tales and social media tend to be discouraging, inaccurate, and fearmongering. The low knowledge and level of public awareness in the face of the outbreak of the Covid-19 pandemic prompted the UNS KKN Team to make socialization a priority for the Covid-19 2020 Thematic Community Service activities. Socialization programs with various strategies were implemented to provide an understanding of PHBS, the importance of using masks, and new behaviors for prevent the spread of the impact of the pandemic more widely in Magelang, Kebumen and Purwokerto areas. The direct face-to-face socialization, posters / banners, or social media posts are considered effective in providing accurate information to the public, as well as clarifying hoax that has spread rapidly to the public regarding the Covid-19 Pandemic.

Abstract

Gedangan is a village located in Grogol District, Sukoharjo Regency, Central Java. In 2021, Gedangan Village will become one of the partners of the Sebelas Maret University Student Community Services Program (KKN). In this village, KKN activities were carried out using a hybrid system due to the pandemic. KKN is carried out through online and offline activities with the theme of empowering community potential through counselling in the fields of animal husbandry, education, social and creative industries. The work programs that have been implemented are "Literacy Lanterns", Catfish Cultivation in Buckets, composter making, educational posters, PHBS counselling, Reading Houses, and murals to attract the public. The implementation strategy includes socialization, teaching, and various trainings. With this KKN team work program, the people of Gedangan Village are able to optimize the local potential of the village, especially in the fields of Education, Social, and Creative Industries. This activity is supported by the village government and local communities from various backgrounds. This activity is useful for developing Gedangan Village in managing village potential and can help the community be more interested in developing Gedangan in the future.

Abstract

Kuliah Kerja Nyata (KKN) Coronavirus atau Severe Acute Respiratory Syndrome Coronavirus 2 (SARS-CoV-2) merupakan virus yang menyerang sistem pernafasan. Penyakit yang disebabkan oleh infeksi virus ini disebut COVID-19. Cara pencegahannya adalah dengan mengikuti prosedur kesehatan yang ada dengan selalu cuci tangan, menjaga jarak, tinggal di rumah tanpa manfaat darurat, dan melindungi kekebalan tubuh. Tujuan saya dalam mengimplementasikan rencana pengabdian masyarakat Covid-19 adalah memberikan pengetahuan kepada masyarakat tentang virus corona ini, serta memberikan edukasi atau penyuluhan kepada orang-orang yang terinfeksi Covid-19. Dalam rangka melaksanakan kegiatan KKN ini, dilakukan kegiatan ini secara langsung maupun tidak langsung. Meberikan informasi secara online ataupun berdialog langsung dengan warga tentang cara pencegahan virus corona, dan memberikan informasi kepada anak-anak usia sekolah yang terkena dampak. Cara tidak langsung yang dilakukan adalah dengan mengirim dan menjelaskan melalui media whatsapp. Memberikan edukasi kepada anak-anak melalui proses belajar yang menyenangkan dan efektif agar mereka tidak mudah bosan, juga memberikan video cara belajar yang efektif untuk menambah pengetahuan dan pemahaman masyarakat tentang cara belajar yang efektif.

Abstract

The implementation of distance learning during the study from home is not optimal especially in the use of learning media to support activities, causing student interest in learning to decline. This condition is experienced by one of the Kindergartens in Bekasi Regency, i.e., Taman Kanak-kanak Islam Terpadu (TKIT) Az-Zachra. In response to this, innovative learning media is needed to foster children’s learning motivation. Therefore, we carry out a program to strengthen online learning using the android-based application as a learning tool for TKIT Az-Zachra’s students, i.e., Quiver-3D Coloring, which is an Augmented Reality-based learning media. This online learning strengthening activity aims to utilize AR-based learning media on children’s learning motivation. The method used in implementing this program is the provision of instructional videos using the Quiver-3D Coloring application through the WhatsApp Group medium. The program target was 36 students and held on one day only (December 3, 2020). The activity results showed that the utilization of Quiver-3D Coloring application could increase student motivation and made learning more interactive.

Abstract

Saat ini dunia tengah menghadapi masalah global yang harus dihadapi bersama, yaitu pandemi covid-19. Kegiatan dan proses pembelajaran dikemas secara online (daring) dari tingkat sekolah dasar hingga perguruan tinggi. Perubahan penyampaian pembelajaran secara daring menyebabkan munculnya berbagai permasalahan, misalnya keterbatasan internet, kurang tersedianya HP/ komputer, dan masalah terbesarnya adalah tidak tersampainya materi pembelajaran ke peserta didik secara utuh. Untuk itu, kami mendukung upaya Pemerintah yang selalu mengupayakan dan mencari solusi agar kegiatan pembelajaran dapat berlangsung dengan baik selama pandemi, yaitu dengan melakukan kegiatan pengabdian pada masyarakat, tepatnya pada siswa Sekolah Dasar, dengan memadukan pembelajaran daring dengan tatap muka yang disebut dengan Blended Learning model flipped classroom. Pengabdian kami laksanakan secara bertahap melalui metode ceramah, pemodelan, tanya jawab, diskusi, dan praktik. Bapak Ibu guru terlibat aktif dalam diskusi, mempraktekkan cara pengelolaan pembelajaran dengan blanded learning model flipped classroom dan menerapkan di kelas. Berdasarkan hasil wawancara dan pengamatan di kelas secara tatap maya, terlihat sekali perbedaan sebelum menerapkan model blanded learning. Peserta didik lebih termotivasi dalam belajar; peserta didik lebih leluasa dalam mengkaji sebuah materi pembelajaran secara mandiri; terhindarnya salah persepsi dalam memahami materi pembelajaran, karena di bagian akhir pembelajaran/ refleksi guru dan peserta didik melakukan diskusi secara tatap maya untuk membahas materi pembelajaran lebih dalam.

Abstract

Assignment to use students worksheet as an alternative teacher to support learning during a pandemic. This training activity aims to improve the ability of teachers in compiling and developing students worksheet based on the Scientific Approach in learning. This activity was carried out in collaboration with the coordinator of the Sendangtirto Cluster Elementary School, Berbah, Sleman. This activity involved 30 elementary school teachers as participants, with a training model. Data on increasing the ability of participants was obtained through a questionnaire. Based on the data obtained, there was an increase in the assessment and ability of teachers towards the preparation and use of students  worksheet based on the scientific approach after participating in this training activity into high and very high categories. After the training, participants are able to prepare students worksheet based on a scientific approach and implement it in learning.
