Abstract

The Balala' Tamakng tradition is a tradition of abstinence that is still believed and carried out by the Dayak ethnic community in Sungai Ambawang District, Kubu Raya Regency. This study aims to determine the procession of the Balala' Tamakng tradition, the symbolic meaning of the Balala' Tamakng tradition and efforts to maintain the Balala' Tamakng tradition in the era of globalization in an effort to maintain national identity. The high flow of globalization, indirectly, has gradually faded the traditions of today's traditional society. This research seeks to discover the efforts of the Dayak ethnic community in Sungai Ambawang District in preserving the Balala' Tamakng tradition in maintaining national identity amidst the influence of globalization. The research method used is descriptive research using a qualitative approach. The data collection technique that will be used is the process of observation, in-depth interviews, and documentation. The research results in a state that the Balala' Tamakng tradition is carried out through the process of the ritual. As for the meaning or meaning of the Balala' Tamakng tradition, it is abstinence for a full day with the condition that you are not allowed to set foot out of the house, not shout or make noise in the house. In this era of globalization, efforts to maintain the Balala' Tamakng tradition are made by strengthening national identity and by sharing these ritual activities through social media

Abstract

This study aims to determine the spiritual values of culture that are reflected in the Great Mosque of Sang Cipta Rasa Cirebon, the method used is ethnography with a qualitative approach, while the data collection techniques used are interviews, observation and documentation. Place of research at the Great Mosque of Sang Cipta Rasa Cirebon. The informants in this study were the takmir of the mosque who was one of the elders of the mosque to obtain information about cultural history and various religious activities at the mosque, then several mosque congregations to obtain data on religious values, and guides senior tour at the Cirebon Kasepuhan Palace to strengthen data and information related to the history, culture and religious values depicted from the mosque. Data analysis techniques use data reduction, data presentation, and data verification. The Sang Cipta Rasa Great Mosque is one of the special mosques for the people of Cirebon, from a spiritual aspect of culture this mosque is a place of worship for congregational prayers, during Friday prayers there is Adzan Pitue, as a religious tourist spot for the history of the development of Islam in Cirebon, this mosque is also is the result of the acculturation of Javanese and Sundanese culture. The cultural nuance is increasingly attached because the location of this mosque is in front of the Cirebon Kasepuhan Palace. Abstract

The era of Society 5.0 is synonymous with internet technology that makes it easier for teachers to build social character, but it turns out that this era hurts student character development, namely, students experience a social character crisis, so many are anti-social and leave the local culture. The objectives of the study were to 1) determine the meaning of social character in the life of the nation and state, 2) examine the role of Civic Education in maintaining local culture in the era of society 5.0, and 3) examine teacher strategies in building social character in students in the era of society 5.0. This research uses a qualitative approach with descriptive research methods, so data collection techniques use interviews, observations, and document studies. The informants in this study were two teachers; observations were made of the Civic Education learning process and the behavior of students while at MTs N 4 Klaten through the study of syllabus documents and RPP. The data analysis technique used is interactive data analysis. The results showed that the meaning of social character in the life of the nation and state is to establish harmony between differences and maintain harmony between the state and citizens for the realization of unity and unity. In the era of society 5.0, maintaining local culture is very important, namely by educating and inspiring students to maintain and preserve the local wisdom that develops in their respective regions and wisely use internet technology so that it is not easily influenced by values or cultures from outside, especially those that conflict with the personality of the nation. The teacher's strategy in building social character in the era of Society 5.0 is by example, maintaining discipline and habituation, and creating a comfortable and conducive school culture. In addition, there are also supporting activities, namely social service, protecting the environment, and providing compensation to poor and orphaned children

Abstract

Based on needs assessments in the field, Guidance and Counseling Teachers need guidebooks and symbolic modeling videos containing interesting and fun local wisdom. Guidebooks and symbolic modeling videos containing Syair Gulung are designed to improve students' social and civic harmony. The composition of rolled poetry lines and symbolic modeling videos can have an effect on changes in students' cognitive and behavior. The aim of this research focuses on producing products, namely guidebooks and Syair Gulung videos. Research and development is hereby adopted from Borg and Gall, then modified according to needs and limitations in the field using seven steps, namely (1) preliminary study; (2) carry out planning; (3) initial product development; (4) initial product validation by assessors; (5) product revision; (6) user testing; (7) final production. The books and videos developed have been validated by three media experts, two Guidance and Counseling experts, two potential users from Guidance and Counseling Teachers and three cultural experts. The research results revealed that the guidebook for implementing group guidance services using symbolic video modeling to improve students' social and civic harmony was declared suitable for use because it met the elements of excellent product acceptability with high validity. Social harmony which is enhanced through symbolic modeling containing rolled poetry consists of four indicators, namely awareness of cultural diversity, tolerance, self-openness and resolving conflicts constructively. This research only extends to testing media experts, cultural experts, guidance and counseling experts, potential users, and product trials on a small scale. It would be better for future researchers to conduct large-scale experimental research to see the effectiveness of this product.

Abstract

The purpose of this research was to know the agukng magicity in Balala' ritual of Dayak Kanayatnese. Agukng in Balala' ritual have rhythm elements, mean and value, and could be seen in symbolic mean. The method for research agukng in Balala’ ritual was qualitative form.The source of data collection were agukng sound and the attitude of Balala' ritual practicioner and submitted with observation technique, interviews, and documentary study. The research findings showed that Balala' ritual have rhythm elements, which were beat and accent that summarized in one rhythm pattern. From symbolic mean, agukng showed bravery symbol, hope, and happiness for the success of Balala' ritual. Agukng in Balala' ritual or lockdown was implemented to resist or prevent pandemic virus COVID19 or known as Corona virus that functioned as connecting communication media between people and Awa Pama or ancestor. With this, agukng in the balala' ritual implicitly conveys an attitude that is worth togetherness in the Dayak Kanayatn community so that they consciously and jointly build a better civilization

Abstract

This article examines the effect of teacher-teaching strategies and student learning environments on Civic learning motivation. This study used a correlational design with a quantitative approach. Data was collected using a questionnaire and then analyzed using SPSS 26 For Windows with multiple linear regression analysis techniques. The results showed that the significance value was 0.000<0.05 with the Fcount value greater than Ftable, namely 27.534>3.07. These findings show that the hypothesis is accepted, meaning that the teacher's teaching strategy and environment positively and significantly affect the motivation to learn Civic. This amount is 31.6%. Thus, teachers must optimize teaching strategies and a conducive learning environment to foster motivation to learn Civic. This research can become the basis for further research to improve Civic learning outcomes in schools.

Abstract

This study aims to obtain information on how to implement and cultivate the character values of the 7 Poe Atikan implemented in the Purwakarta district. This study took data using a qualitative approach with descriptive methods. The collection techniques are observation, interviews, and literature study as data collection techniques. This research was conducted at SDN 2 Munjuljaya Purwakarta. The results of this study obtained information regarding the cultivation of character values from the 7 P oe Atikan Istimewa which were implemented at SDN 2 Munjuljaya Purwakarta which had been implemented and instilled character values in students through several different activities every day. This research implies that the implementation of the 7 Poe Atika in schools can instill character values in students to improve the abilities and quality of students at school and outside of school.

Abstract

This research is very important to carry out in the context of developing a digital PPKn textbook based on Pancasila student profiles for secondary level schools. Until now, many researchers have studied the themes of PPKn textbooks in terms of their values and content, but have not touched on the contents of the Pancasila student profile. The aim of this research is to strengthen the civic character of students at SMA IT Al-Izzah Ciruas District. Attack through the development of digital PPKn textbooks based on Pancasila student profiles. This research developed a digital PPKn textbook based on Pancasila student profiles in the form of a Flipbook. In practical terms, it is hoped that the digital PPKn textbook product resulting from this research and development can become the main learning resource for students at Al-Izzah IT High School, Ciruas District. Serang, can also be a reference for other schools within the upper secondary level. This research uses the Research and Development (R&D) method using the ADDIE development model developed by Robert Marribe Branch (2009) with implementation stages including analysis, design, development, implementation and evaluation. (evaluation). The results of the material expert validation assessment were 83.6%, learning expert validation 90%, and design expert validation 97% in the Very Valid and Appropriate category. Meanwhile, the response results from teachers as users were 90% and student responses were 87.86%. Thus, the high percentage of students and teachers who gave positive responses proves that digital PPKn textbooks can be said to be effective for use to improve the civic character of class X SMA/SMK and equivalent students

Abstract

The phenomenon of cyber begging or online begging has mushroomed the spectrum of society when the pandemic hit. This social behavior infects all communal layers regardless of status and class. Of course, if this is allowed to continue, it will become a threat to the state, not only attacking economic empowerment, but also becoming a disease that can injure and injure the values of the Pancasila character. So that the phenomenon of cyber begging will be reviewed and studied based on the perspective of Pancasila character values. The basic premise of writing this article is an in-depth review of the phenomenon of cyber begging that occurs in today's digital society. Followed by a study of cyber begging from the point of view of the values of character education, which turns out to be a threat to the character of society at large, thus contradicting the purpose of Pancasila character education itself. This article will answer how in the end the phenomenon of cyber begging cannot be justified even if it is caused by economic factors because the government itself has been progressive in making programs to empower the people's economy, even unexpectedly there are still many people with no character and mentality of beggars who still roam the digital world to carry out the action of begging online when in fact it is not justified from the point of view of Pancasila character values

Abstract

Tujuan Penelitian ini adalah: 1) Untuk mengetahui upaya Kepala Sekolah dalam penguatan etika warga  digital di SMK PGRI 2 Ponorogo. 2) Untuk mengetahui faktor pendukung dan hambatan dalam melaksanakan program penguatan etika warga digital di SMK PGRI 2 Ponorogo. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian campuran yang didalamnya termuat tentang study literatur. Teknik pengumpulan data dalam penelitian ini adalah melalui kegiatan wawancara dan angket. Teknik analisis data yang digunakan teknik interaksi data yang dilakukan dengan cara pengumpulan data, reduksi data, serta penyajian data. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa 1.upaya kepala sekolah dalam penguatan etika warga digital melalui; a)penyediaan sumber daya teknologi, sarana dan prasarana digital yang memadai. b) membuat tata tertib terkait etika warga digital di lingkungan sekolah. c)peningkatan spiritual terkait etika warga digital. 2.faktor pendukung dan penghambat, adanya faktor dukungan yang diantaranya; saling menjaga privasi, meningkatkan kesadaran beretika digital, penggunaan teknologi yang bertanggung jawab, serta pembuatan aturan tata tertib sekolah tentang Etika Digital. Adapun faktor penghambat diantaranya; kurangnya kesadaran dan pemahaman pentingnya etika warga digital, kurangnya pengawasan, adanya kesenjangan pemahaman antara pendidik dan siswa, membuat konsentrasi terganggu, dan perubahan teknologi yang pesat menjadi tantangan bagi para pendidik.
