Abstract

This study aims to examine the forms of bureaucratic pathology that occur in public services in Indonesia, as well as to analyze their impact on service quality and formulate strategies for overcoming them. This study uses a literature study method with a qualitative descriptive approach. Data were obtained from various relevant scientific articles, books, and research reports, especially those published between 2021 and 2024. The results of the study show that bureaucratic pathology in Indonesia is still systemic and complex, including corrupt practices, slow and discriminatory services, complicated procedures, and low transparency and accountability. Bureaucratic pathology has a significant impact on the declining quality of public services and public trust in the government. To overcome this, comprehensive bureaucratic reform is needed through simplifying procedures, increasing the capacity of the apparatus, transforming organizational culture, and consistently implementing the principles of good governance.

Abstract

Guidance and counseling have an important role in community empowerment, especially the elderly community. This article aims to examine the urgency of guidance and counseling in improving the welfare of the elderly through a psychosocial approach and community empowerment. The scope of the study includes emotional, social, and mental aspects that affect the quality of life of the elderly. This article highlights how guidance and counseling can improve the quality of life of the elderly by providing psychological support, facilitating social interactions, and empowering them in various community activities. Through individual and group approaches, counseling can help the elderly find the meaning of life, increase self-confidence, and overcome stress due to age-related changes.

Abstract

This paper discusses the rules of jurisprudence regarding the combination of two similar acts of worship in one implementation with one intention. In the practice of worship, a Muslim is often faced with a condition where two acts of worship that have the same type and purpose occur at the same time. Based on the rules of jurisprudence: “If two similar acts of worship come together then their implementation is combined and it is sufficient to carry out one of them if both have the same purpose”, then this combination is permitted with certain conditions. This research uses a qualitative method based on literature study by reviewing relevant literature regarding the rules of jurisprudence and their application. The results of the discussion show that combining two similar worship services is permissible if it meets conditions such as: the type of worship is the same, the time is the same, it is not a qadha or accompanying worship service, and the intention of a larger worship service if there is a difference in degree. Examples of implementation include: janabah bathing at the same time as Friday bathing, tawaf ifadhah and tawaf wada’, as well as sunnah ablution, qabliyah and tahiyyatul mosque prayers simultaneously. In conclusion, this rule shows the ease in Islamic law while maintaining the validity and value of worship.

Abstract

Quantum Learning is a learning model that brings students to activities. Technological advancement is known as the 21st century era. The demands of global progress have changed the paradigm of teacher-centered learning into new student-centered learning. The four basic competencies that must be possessed in the 21st century are Critical thinking, Creativity, Communication, and Collaboration. The method used in this research is qualitative with an interview and documentation approach, using oral questions and oral answers, plus documentation that serves as supporting data so that the results can be considered valid. The results showed that in phase A, phase B, and phase C, quantum learning had been applied which included giving awards and praise to students. In phase A, contextual learning was done through concrete media. While in phases B and C, teachers try to relate the subject matter to students’ real experiences. For competency-related learning, the school provides worship facilities for all religions, so that students gain an understanding of tolerance. This is certainly in line with some of the skills needed in the 21st century, such as critical thinking, collaboration, creativity and communication. In this way, it is hoped that there will be an improvement in learning innovation at the primary school level.

Abstract

This study aims to describe the professional competence of teachers and the use of the quizizz application in the learning process at UPT SDN 13 Binamu, Jeneponto Regency. This type of research uses qualitative research with descriptive methods. Data collection techniques are carried out through in-depth interviews. Informants in this study were teachers who teach at UPT SDN 13 Binamu. Data management techniques use data reduction, data display, data verification and to test the validity of the data using triangulation, namely source triangulation, time triangulation, and technique triangulation.  The results of the study indicate that the professional competence of teachers is generally in the fairly good category, marked by the ability of teachers to design learning, master the material, and carry out evaluations. However, there are variations in abilities between teachers, especially in adopting learning technology. The use of the quizizz application is still limited to some teachers who have better ICT skills. These teachers use quizizz as an interactive and fun evaluation media for students. While other teachers still face obstacles in the form of limited devices, internet networks, and lack of training. There is a positive relationship between the level of professional competence of teachers and the effectiveness of using quizizz. More competent teachers tend to be more innovative and adaptive to developments in educational technology.  The obstacles faced in using the quizizz application include limited facilities, internet access, and digital literacy of teachers. Therefore, continuous training and infrastructure support from the school and education office are needed.

Abstract

This research focuses on the problem of how the shift in consumer behavior with the presence of digital payment platforms as a transaction tool by the people of Pekanbaru City is reviewed based on Islamic economic views. The aim of this research is to determine the shift in consumer behavior with the presence of digital payment platforms as a transaction tool by the people of Pekanbaru city based on Islamic economic views. The method in this research is field research with a descriptive qualitative approach. This research was conducted using 3 techniques, namely observation, interviews and documentation. The research results found that the shift in consumption behavior of the people of Pekanbaru city was due to the ease of access to digital payments in the palm of their hands, following their desires to fulfill desires without considering the long-term benefits of the products purchased. The causes of people’s consumptive behavior are influenced by environmental factors, promotions or advertisements for a product, cashback, discounts and free shipping. Meanwhile, transactions on digital payment platforms, if viewed based on Islamic law, have different laws according to the contract used.

Abstract

Learning problems experienced by students are complex issues that have a direct impact on academic success. In this case, the role of the BK teacher is very important to help students overcome various learning problems, both those originating from internal and external factors. This study aims to describe the professional competence of BK teachers when handling student learning problems at SMP Negeri 20 Batanghari. This study uses a qualitative descriptive approach, with data collected through observation and interviews with BK teachers. The results of the study revealed that BK teachers who have a high level of professional competence or identify sources of learning problems appropriately, provide individual and group counseling services effectively, and establish effective cooperation with schools and parents. These findings indicate that the professional competence of BK teachers has an important role in the success of handling learning problems faced by students.

Abstract

The study aims to analyze how teachers respond to digital transformation as well as how Strategies are carried out in improving teachers’ competencies in order to be relevant to the demands of the times. The study was conducted through library research, which is a research methodology that excavates and analyzes various sources of literature such as scholarly books, journals, articles, educational policy documents, and previous research results. The data collection process was conducted through the identification of major themes as well as Data analysis was conducted qualitatively descriptively by examining the appropriateness of the content and relevance to the research problem. The results of the study show that Teachers’ responses to digital transformation indicate that teachers must be able to adapt to technology in order to remain relevant and effective in teaching in the modern era. They need to improve their digital skills, change their teaching methods to be more student-centered, as well as be able to create interactive and fun learning with the help of technology. To support that, teacher competence enhancement strategies were implemented through technology training, collaboration with colleagues, participation in professional discussions, as well as school and government support. All of this must be balanced with teachers’ willingness to continue learning and being open to change.

Abstract

This study aims to see the results of the attraction, digital promotion, and facilities on the interest of tourists visiting the Taman Kelapa Pandan Wangi destination in Labuhanbatu Regency. The approach used is quantitative with a research population of 156 tourists, based on visit data in February 2025. The sample was taken using the Slovin formula with a random sampling technique, resulting in 112 respondents. The main instrument for data collection was a closed questionnaire with a Likert scale, supported by documentation and field observations. The results of the analysis show that partially, the tourist attraction variable has a positive and significant effect on interest in visiting. Likewise, digital promotion and facilities show a positive and significant contribution in increasing tourist interest. Simultaneous tests strengthen these findings, where the three independent variables together have a significant effect on tourist interest. These findings emphasize the importance of integrated management in developing tourist destinations. Strengthening the attraction through attraction innovation, optimizing digital media-based promotions, and providing adequate facilities are strategic elements to increase the competitiveness of destinations. In the context of local tourism, this not only encourages increased visits but also strengthens visitor loyalty. A development strategy that is oriented towards the quality of tourist experience and satisfaction is an important foundation in supporting the sustainability of the regional tourism sector holistically.

Abstract

Career planning is a crucial aspect of student development, especially at the senior high school level, as preparation for entering higher education and the workforce. However, in reality, many students still experience confusion and unpreparedness in making career decisions. Guidance and counseling services play a significant role in fostering career maturity among high school students. This study aims to determine the effect of career guidance implementation on the career planning of advanced class F students at SMA Negeri 2 Sutera. This research employs a quantitative approach using simple linear regression analysis. The population in this study consists of all 114 advanced class F students, with 83 respondents selected as samples using a simple random sampling technique. Data were collected through questionnaires and analyzed to examine the relationship between the implementation of career guidance and the clarity of students’ career planning. The results of this study are expected to contribute to improving the effectiveness of career guidance programs in schools to help students develop well-structured and potential-based career plans.
