Abstract

The Smallholder Oil Palm Replanting Program (PSR) is a key initiative to improve the productivity of Indonesia’s smallholder plantations. However, the replanting process increases the risk of pest attacks, particularly from rhinoceros beetles (Oryctes rhinoceros), which can damage the shoot apex, inhibit plant growth, and even cause the death of young oil palm trees. This community service activity was carried out in Bandur Picak Village, Koto Kampar Hulu Subdistrict, with the aim of educating and training farmers on Integrated Pest Management (IPM) strategies to control rhinoceros beetles. The methods included educational sessions, technical training, and field demonstrations on the use of pheromone traps, the application of the entomopathogenic fungus Metarhizium anisopliae, and the management of organic waste. The results showed that 85% of participants improved their understanding of pest biology and control techniques and expressed readiness to implement IPM practices in their fields. This activity effectively enhanced farmers’ capacity in environmentally friendly pest control and supported the success of oil palm replanting. Strengthening local capacities through participatory approaches is essential to achieving sustainable plantation management in rural areas.

Abstract

The younger generation is the future of the nation and has great potential to drive social and economic change. This activity was conducted using a participatory approach with training, group discussions, and hands-on practice. Many YWKA Vocational School students still have not implemented marketing strategies in a planned and professional manner and do not understand the concept of profitability. The results of the community service demonstrated an increase in participants' understanding of developing marketing strategies to increase profitability. This community service, in the form of training, is effective in improving the skills of the younger generation.

Abstract

Traffic safety is a serious issue that directly impacts the security and well-being of the community, including in Bengkalis District. A survey involving 42 respondents from various age groups and backgrounds identified a number of risky driving behaviors, such as non-compliance with helmet use, high-speed driving, and negligence when crossing intersections. This data served as the basis for implementing a community service program focused on preventing risky behavior on the road. The program was designed with a data-driven approach that took into account local conditions and the behavioral characteristics of the local community. The implementation team designed and implemented an interactive educational session attended by 40 participants, consisting of motorcycle riders, students, and local community members. The educational materials included theoretical explanations, visual simulations, group discussions, and case studies relevant to the situation on the ground. This method aimed not only to convey information but also to build critical awareness regarding the risks and consequences of unsafe driving behavior. The results showed an increase in participants' understanding of traffic safety regulations and the importance of complying with safety signs and procedures. Several participants reported changes in attitudes, such as a commitment to always wear a helmet and reduce speed when driving. These findings indicate that relevant, participatory, and community-based educational interventions can be an effective first step in shaping safer driving behaviors. The program's sustainability is expected to be achieved through collaboration with schools, community organizations, and local government agencies, as well as the integration of traffic safety materials into educational curricula and community activities. This approach has the potential to create a culture of safe, disciplined, and sustainable driving in Bengkalis District, while also serving as a model intervention that can be replicated in other areas with similar challenges.

Abstract

This Community Service activity aims to implement a digital marketing strategy for the Otak Otak Singapur SME in Bengkalis to expand market reach and increase product sales. The methods used include SWOT and STP analysis to assess the internal and external conditions of the business, as well as the implementation of digital marketing strategies through various platforms such as Instagram, Facebook, Google My Business, and the Maxim marketplace. Based on insight data analysis, the Instagram account reached 846 accounts with 81.8% new users, Facebook gained 546 active followers, Google My Business recorded 174 interactions, and Maxim played a key role in simplifying the ordering and product delivery process to consumers. The STP strategy focuses on targeting the youth segment and food enthusiasts, positioning the product as a unique and authentic grilled snack. The results of the activity show a significant increase in business visibility, customer interaction, and purchase interest. The contribution of this activity is the implementation of a data-driven digital marketing strategy that is effective, applicable, and sustainable, which can serve as a model for other SMEs facing business competition challenges in the digital era.

Abstract

This community service project aims to implement a digital marketing strategy for the "Cireng Mang Ade" SME in Bengkalis to expand market reach and increase product sales. The research method uses a descriptive qualitative approach with SWOT and STP analysis to identify the internal and external conditions of the business. The strategies applied include utilizing social media platforms Instagram and Facebook, creating a Google My Business account, and using the Maxim marketplace for promotion and delivery services. The results of the study show significant improvements in business visibility, social media follower growth, and consumer purchasing interest. Instagram reached 846 accounts with 81.8% new users, Facebook gained 546 active followers, Google My Business recorded 174 interactions, and Maxim facilitated easier product ordering and delivery. This digital marketing implementation has proven to be effective in expanding the market and increasing brand awareness as well as consumer engagement. The study demonstrates that the appropriate application of digital marketing can be an effective and sustainable solution for the development of SMEs in the digital era, helping them remain competitive and reach a wider consumer base.

Abstract

This final project is carried out to find out how the application of digital marketing promotes products at MSME Dodol Hawa located in Pakning Asal Village, Bengkalis Regency. The main objective of this project is to assist businesses in expanding market reach and increasing product attractiveness through digital media. The methods used are Strenght, Weaknesess, Opportunity, Threats (SWOT) analysis, and Segmenting, Targeting, Positioning (STP). The digital marketing strategy implemented includes the use of social media (Instagram, Facebook Business, and WhatsApp Business), the creation of a Google My Business account, and the utilization of the Facebook marketplace. The project results show that the use of social media plays an important role in increasing brand awareness and consumer interest. However, there are still obstacles such as the lack of understanding of technology from business actors and limited ideas in creating attractive digital content. The solution is that continuous mentoring and training are needed so that digital marketing strategies can be implemented optimally, have a long-term impact on business sustainability and continuously seek reference ideas from various sources to get interesting content ideas.

Abstract

This Community Service program aims to analyze and implement digital marketing strategies for the Karya Bunda MSME, a fish and shrimp cracker producer in Pangkalan Batang Barat Village, Bengkalis Regency. The implementation of digital marketing is carried out as an effort to overcome limitations in conventional marketing and increase market reach. The methods used in this community service include SWOT (Strength, Weakness, Opportunities, Threats) analysis, and STP (Segmentation, Targeting, Positioning). The digital marketing strategies implemented include creating a Google My Business account, utilizing social media (Instagram, Facebook, and WhatsApp Business), preparing a content calendar, and marketing through local marketplaces. The results of the implementation of digital marketing strategies show an increase in the visibility of the Karya Bunda MSME on digital platforms, growth in interaction with consumers, and increased sales during the community service period. Obstacles faced include limited digital literacy of business owners and limited internet network, but these can be overcome through mentoring and training. This research is expected to serve as a reference and motivation for other MSMEs in developing more effective and adaptive marketing strategies for the digital era.

Abstract

This Community Service project aims to implement a digital marketing strategy for UMKM HerJamu in Desa Pangkalan Jambi, Bengkalis, to expand market reach and increase sales of traditional herbal drinks made from natural spices. The methods used include SWOT analysis, the marketing mix (4P), and the STP approach (Segmenting, Targeting, Positioning). The strategies implemented include creating a Google My Business account, selecting social media platforms such as Instagram and Facebook, preparing a content calendar, and publishing promotional content over the course of one month. The results of this implementation show an increase in audience engagement, brand awareness, and consumer interest from outside the region. Consistent and informative content strategies have proven effective in building trust and expanding the market. Despite challenges such as limited human resources (HR) and low digital literacy, these were overcome through training and mentoring. This Community Service project supports the digital transformation of HerJamu and provides practical guidance for other SMEs to leverage digital marketing as a strategy for business development, while contributing to the government's program to promote the digitalization of SMEs in Indonesia.

Abstract

The purpose of this community service project is to implement a digital marketing strategy for Ucu Ema MSMEs in Bengkalis by applying the STP approach (segmenting, targeting, and positioning) and conducting a SWOT analysis (strengths, weaknesses, opportunities, threats). This activity also aims to identify challenges faced in digital marketing and provide appropriate solutions to improve business competitiveness. The method used consists of three main stages: preparation, implementation, and reporting of the community service activities. The results show a significant improvement in digital marketing performance through various social media platforms such as WhatsApp, Instagram (@umkm_ucuemaa), Facebook (Umkm Ucu Ema), and the Shopee marketplace (umkm_ucu_ema). This improvement has positively impacted sales and customer reach. The main challenge encountered was understanding the type of content preferred by the audience. The implemented solution involved adjusting content strategies according to user trends and preferences, making promotions more engaging and effective, and ultimately increasing consumer interest in Ucu Ema MSMEs products.

Abstract

This community service activity, entitled Implementation of Digital Marketing on Basreng Basgoy Business, aims to analyze the SWOT factors (Strengths, Weaknesses, Opportunities, Threats), determine the STP strategies (Segmenting, Targeting, Positioning), and evaluate the implementation of the marketing mix strategy used by the Basreng Basgoy business in Bengkalis. Furthermore, this program seeks to examine the effectiveness of digital marketing in improving marketing strategies and expanding consumer reach, as well as to identify challenges and solutions encountered during the implementation process. The method used consists of planning, implementation, and evaluation stages conducted directly with the business owner. The results show that digital marketing implementation has significantly improved business performance through various online platforms such as Instagram, WhatsApp, and Shopee. Consistent promotion and engaging content creation successfully increased consumer interaction and product sales. Challenges encountered include tight market competition and limited content ideas. The solutions applied involve strengthening branding by emphasizing product uniqueness, improving promotional visuals, and conducting continuous content analysis and optimization.
