Abstract

The urgent need for partner teachers (SMK Satria) at this time is "training to improve teacher competence in implementing scientific learning". The training targets of the training program as an effort to improve the quality of the process and student learning outcomes are 24 teachers of SMK Satria, Jambi City, Jambi Province. The expected outputs of the training activities to improve teacher competence in implementing scientific learning are as follows: (a) Increasing teacher competence in the affective domain so that they are able to assess teacher professional development activities in accordance with the guidelines so that the objectives of teacher professional development activities can be achieved; (b) Increasing teacher competence in the psychomotor domain, namely the ability of teachers to practice scientific learning; (c) Increasing teacher competence in the cognitive domain so that they have the competence to know and understand clear reasons and suggestions, and provide learning impacts for improvement for the teacher himself. The material is provided through adult learning methods (andragogy), with a ratio of 30% theory (9 Meeting Hours/JP) and 70% practice (27 Meeting Hours/JP). In adult learning, more emphasis is placed on improving the quality of their lives, providing skills and abilities to solve the problems they experience in life and their service tasks. The overall increase in average competence of trainees as a result of the training reached 62%. The results of the questionnaire on training satisfaction resulted in information that the implementation of the training could satisfy the trainees (average 95%), both in terms of the achievement of training objectives, training methods, instructor quality, time and media used. The recommended suggestion is that local governments need to budget funds for the implementation of advanced Scientific Learning training activities for teachers funded from the Provincial or District / City APBD.

Abstract

Pengabdian kepada masyarakat yang dilakukan selama pandemi Covid-19 ini bertujuan membekali masyarakat sehingga memiliki pengetahuan, kemampuan dan motivasi dalam menghadapi badai Covid-19. Adanya edukasi dan pendampingan ini diharapkan masyarakat siap dalam mengantisipasi semakin bertambahnya sebaran virus Covid-19 melalui penerapan pola hidup sehat dan bermasyarakat sesuai protokol kesehatan. Selain itu, masyarakat  diharapkan mampu mandiri secara ekonomi, kebutuhan dan kebertahanan hidup tetap terpenuhi. Selama masa pandemi ini, roda perekonomian dituntut untuk terus berputar, semua kebutuhan hidup juga harus terpenuhi. Pengabdian ini menggunakan metode pendampingan dan pengedukasian masyarakat sasaran melalui Majelis Taklim Darun Nisa’ Masjid Baitussalam di Kelurahan Ngaliyan, Kecamatan Ngaliyan, Kota Semarang. Hasil dari kegiatan pengabdian masyarakat pada Majelis Taklim Darun Nisa’ adalah  jamaah telah memiliki kemampuan, kemandirian dan motivasi dalam berpartisipasi dengan melakukan upaya preventif dalam pencegahan penularan dan memutus penyebaran virus Covid-19 melalui perilaku hidup sehat dalam bermasyarakat, serta  dapat memberikan penguatan peran Majelis Taklim Darun Nisa’ dalam penanganan Covid-19 guna mewujudkan kampung amanah yang tangguh. This community service during the Covid-19 pandemic aims to equip the community with the knowledge, abilities, and motivation to face the Covid-19 storm. With this education and assistance, it is hoped that the community will be ready to anticipate the increasing spread of the Covid-19 virus through the application of a healthy and social lifestyle according to health protocols. In addition, the community is expected to be able to be economically independent, and their needs and survival will still be met. During this pandemic, the wheels of the economy are required to keep turning, and all the necessities of life must also be met. This service uses the method of mentoring and educating the target community through the Taklim Council of Darun Nisa' Baitussalam Mosque in Ngaliyan Village, Ngaliyan District, Semarang City. The result of community service activities at the Darun Nisa' Taklim Council is that the congregation has the ability, independence, and motivation to participate by making preventive efforts in preventing transmission and breaking the spread of the Covid-19 virus through healthy living behavior in society, and can strengthen the role of the Taklim Council. Darun Nisa' in handling Covid-19 to create a strong mandate for the village.

Abstract

Konten kreatif dalam smartphone mencakup berbagai jenis konten seperti vlog, video tutorial, ulasan produk, unboxing, dan banyak lagi. Tren seperti penggunaan smartphone untuk fotografi, videografi, dan aplikasi kreatif juga telah meningkatkan minat orang untuk menjadi kreator konten. Selain itu, banyak juga konten edukasi yang diberikan melalui sosial media tersebut. Maka, tujuan dari dilaksanakannya kegiatan pengabdian Masyarakat ini adalah untuk memberikan pelatihan dalam pembuatan dan pengeditan video menggunakan aplikasi Capcut sebagai salah satu pengenalan dan pengasahan keterampilan bagi santri dengan kami yang menjadi tutor dan fasilitatornya. Guna mengimplementasi dari aplikasi tersebut kami memanfaatkan kemajuan teknologi dari kategori sosial media sebagai sarana berkomunikasi dengan khalayak tanpa batasan untuk mengedukasi dengan penyajian semenarik mungkin namun mudah dipahami oleh khalayak, contoh pengaplikasikannya adalah dengan membuat video pembelajaran ataupun video yang sifatnya untuk menghibur orang lain untuk disebarkan melalui sosial media masing-masing seperti YouTube, Whatsapp, Instagram, TikTok dan lain sebagainya. Mitra pengabdian masyakarat kali ini adalah Pondok Pesantren Dar Al-Faradis, yang berlokasi di Jalan Muslimat Komplek Harjosari Kidul, Kecamatan Adiwerna, Kabupaten Tegal, Jawa Tengah. Permasalahan yang dialami oleh mitra adalah para santri kurang mahir dalam penguasaan aplikasi membuat dan mengedit video yang saat ini belum dapat diterapkan secara maksimal untuk menunjang hard skill. Solusi yang diambil yaitu memberikan materi dalam pembuatan video dan mengedit video untuk meningkatkan keterampilan bagi para santri dalam menghadapi era 4.0. Pelatihan  ini dilakukan secara tatap muka atau luring di lokasi mitra. Mitra diberikan kuesioner untuk mendapatkan persepsi mereka mengenai kegiatan ini dan hasilnya menunjukkan bahwa secara keseluruhan, memperoleh jawaban diantaranya: sangat puas, puas, sangat update, sangat setuju dan sangat berminat. Namun, masih perlu adanya perbaikan untuk pelatihan dimasa mendatang. Creative content on smartphones includes various types of content such as vlogs, video tutorials, product reviews, unboxings, and more. Trends such as using smartphones for photography, videography and creative applications have also increased people's interest in becoming content creators. Apart from that, there is also a lot of educational content provided through social media. So, the aim of carrying out this community service activity was to provide training in making and editing videos using the Capcut application as an introduction and sharpening of skills for students with us being the tutors and facilitators. In order to implement this application, we utilized technological advances from the social media category as a means of communicating with audiences without limitations to educate with presentations that were as attractive as possible but easily understood by the audience. An example of the application was by creating learning videos or videos that were intended to entertain other people to be distributed via respective social media such as YouTube, Whatsapp, Instagram, TikTok and so on. The community service partner this time was the Dar Al-Faradis Islamic Boarding School, located on Jalan Muslimat Harjosari Kidul Complex, Adiwerna District, Tegal Regency, Central Java. The problem experienced by partners was that the students were not proficient in mastering video creation and editing applications which currently could not be applied optimally to support hard skills. The solution taken was to provide material for making videos and editing videos to improve students' skills in facing the 4.0 era. This training was carried out face-to-face or offline at partner locations. Partners were given a questionnaire to get their perceptions regarding this activity and the results showed that overall, the answers included: very satisfied, satisfied, very updated, very agree and very interested. However, improvements still need to be made for future training.

Abstract

Pelaku UMKM merupakan penggerak ekonomi mulai dari tingkat lokal, regional hingga berdampak pada  peningkatan ekonomi suatu negara. Dengan berbagai latar belakang UMKM dilihat dari tingkat Pendidikan, sektor yang dijalankan, pendapatan, dan pengetahuan, tentu para UMKM mengalami berbagai tantangan dalam pengembangan usahanya, mulai dari modal, pemasaran, pengelolaan SDM, manajemen usaha hingga persoalan legalitas usaha juga legalitas produknya. Untuk itu peran berbagai pihak seperti Pemerintah, Akademisi, Media dan pihak lainnya sangat dibutuhkan akan perannya untuk dapat membantu kemajuan dan perkembangan UMKM. Program pengabdian ini merupakan bentuk Kerjasama Fakultas Ekonomi dan Manajemen Unida Gontor dengan para UMKM di Kabupaten Ponorogo sebanyak 5 pihak UMKM yang bergerak dalam bidang makanan ringan. Para UMKM ini tergolong tingkatan mikro dengan modal yang terbatas dan pemasaran yang masih dalam lingkup provinsi. Pengabdian ini bertujuan untuk membantu para UMKM tersebut mendapatkan legalitas usaha berbentuk Nomor Induk Berusaha (NIB) dan juga Sertifikasi Halal Produk dari Badan Penyelenggara Jaminan Produk Halal (BPJPH) dengan keputusan dari Fatwa MUI. Metode Pengabdian adalah berbentuk pendampingan dokumen legalitas usaha dan selanjutnya adalah pendampingan dalam penerapan proses halal bagi produk UMKM hingga memperoleh sertifikat Halal BPJPH. Hasil Kegiatan PKM, saat ini para UMKM telah memperoleh Nomor Induk Berusaha (NIB) dan juga Sertifikasi Halal Produk, sehingga dapat bersaing dengan produk lain yang ada dipasaran, selain itu produk UMKM ini dapat didistribusikan lebih luas lagi dengan adanya label Halal BPJPH. MSME players are economic drivers ranging from the local, regional levels to have an impact on improving a country's economy. With various backgrounds of MSMEs seen from the level of education, sectors run, income, and knowledge, of course, MSMEs experience various challenges in their business development, ranging from capital, marketing, human resource management, business management to business legality issues as well as the legality of their products. For this reason, the role of various parties such as the government, academics, media and other parties is needed for their role to be able to help the progress and development of MSMEs. This service program is a form of collaboration between the Faculty of Economics and Management Undia Gontor and MSMEs in Ponorogo Regency as many as 5 MSMEs engaged in snacks. These MSMEs are classified as micro levels with limited capital and marketing that is still within the scope of the province. This service aims to help these MSMEs obtain business legality in the form of Business Identification Number (NIB) and also Halal Product Certification from the Halal Product Assurance Organizing Agency (BPJPH) with a decision from the MUI Fatwa. The Community Service Method is in the form of assistance in business legality documents and then is assistance in the implementation of halal processes for MSME products to obtain a BPJPH Halal certificate. The results of PKM activities, currently MSMEs have obtained Business Identification Numbers (NIB) and also Halal Product Certification, so that they can compete with other products on the market, besides that these MSME products can be distributed more widely with the BPJPH Halal label.

Abstract

Penelitian dari hasil program pengabdian masyarakat ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis tingkat kejadian stunting di Desa Darupono, Kecamatan Kaliwungu Selatan, Kabupaten Kendal, Provinsi Jawa Tengah, serta faktor-faktor yang mempengaruhinya. Data menunjukkan bahwa tingkat stunting pada baduta (bayi di bawah dua tahun) sebesar 9,6% dan pada balita sebesar 8,9%. Kabupaten Kendal juga mengalami penurunan status gizi secara keseluruhan berdasarkan Survei Status Gizi Indonesia (SSGI) dari 20,8% pada tahun 2021 menjadi 17,5% pada tahun 2022. Target pemerintah untuk mengurangi tingkat stunting menjadi 14% pada tahun 2024. Diungkapkan bahwa stunting adalah hasil dari riwayat gizi yang kurang baik mulai dari awal kehidupan hingga saat ini. Penanganan stunting pada anak di atas dua tahun terbukti kurang optimal. Oleh karena itu, diperlukan inovasi dalam upaya pencegahan dan penanganan stunting, dengan memanfaatkan bahan pangan lokal seperti tempe dan sumber protein hewani seperti ikan lele dan kembung, serta sumber protein nabati seperti daun kelor. Dalam upaya meningkatkan gizi anak, perlu diperhatikan aspek biaya. Program ini merekomendasikan alokasi sebesar 50 ribu rupiah per anak untuk memastikan konsumsi gizi yang seimbang dan kudapan yang sesuai. Menu gizi seimbang dan variasi kudapan juga perlu diperkenalkan sebagai langkah selingan dalam pemenuhan kebutuhan gizi anak. Data menunjukkan bahwa stunting di Kecamatan Kaliwungu Selatan, Kabupaten Kendal, berkaitan erat dengan pola asuh anak. Oleh karena itu, penanganan stunting harus melibatkan pendekatan holistik yang memperhatikan faktor-faktor penyebab stunting, termasuk pola asuh yang tepat. Research from the results of this community service program aims to analyze the level of stunting incidents in Darupono Village, South Kaliwungu District, Kendal Regency, Central Java Province, as well as the factors that influence it. Data shows that the stunting rate for toddlers (babies under two years) is 9.6% and for toddlers it is 8.9%. Kendal Regency also experienced a decline in overall nutritional status based on the Indonesian Nutrition Status Survey (SSGI) from 20.8% in 2021 to 17.5% in 2022. The government's target is to reduce the stunting rate to 14% in 2024. It was revealed that stunting is the result of a history of poor nutrition from early life to the present. Handling stunting in children over two years old has proven to be less than optimal. Therefore, innovation is needed in efforts to prevent and treat stunting, by utilizing local food ingredients such as tempeh and animal protein sources such as catfish and mackerel, as well as vegetable protein sources such as Moringa leaves. In an effort to improve children's nutrition, it is necessary to pay attention to the cost aspect. This program recommends an allocation of 50 thousand rupiah per child to ensure consumption of balanced nutrition and appropriate snacks. A balanced nutritional menu and a variety of snacks also need to be introduced as an alternative step in meeting children's nutritional needs. Data shows that stunting in South Kaliwungu District, Kendal Regency, is closely related to child rearing patterns. Therefore, handling stunting must involve a holistic approach that pays attention to the factors that cause stunting, including appropriate parenting patterns.

Abstract

Anak masuk dalam kelompok rentan dan menjadi salah satu prioritas pembangunan kesehatan di Indonesia. Upaya kesehatan anak salah satunya dengan pemantauan pertumbuhan dan perkembangan untuk menilai status gizi. Posyandu adalah bentuk UKBM untuk mendeteksi secara dini masalah gizi pada anak melalui pengisian KMS yang dilakukan oleh kader posyandu. Di RW.02 Kelurahan Karangroto pengisian KMS hanya dilakukan oleh bidan dan kader senior, serta beberapa kader belum tahu cara pengisian KMS yang benar. Tujuan dari pengabdian masyarakat ini adalah untuk meningkatkan keterampilan kader posyandu balita dalam pengisisan KMS. Metode pengabdian masyarakat yang digunakan adalah dengan melakukan pelatihan pengisian KMS dengans sasaran kader posyandu balita sebanyak 10 orang yang dilaksanakan di Balai Paud Mangga RW.02 Kelurahan Karangroto. Intrumen yang digunakan adalah koesioner pre post test dan dianalisis menggunakan Paired Sampel Test. Hasil kegiatan pelatihan yaitu rerata tingkat pengetahuan kader dalam pengisian KMS sebelum dilakukan pelatihan adalah 10,78. Setelah diberikan pelatihan nilai rerata tingkat pengetahuan kader tentang pengisian KMS menjadi 13,44. Kesimpulan ada perbedaan tingkat pengetahuan kader posyandu balita RW.02 di Kelurahan Karangroto sebelum dan sesudah diberikan pelatihan pengisian KMS. Children are a vulnerable group and are one of the priorities for health development in Indonesia. One of the efforts for children's health is monitoring growth and development to assess nutritional status. Posyandu is a form of UKBM to detect early nutritional problems in children through filling out KMS carried out by posyandu cadres. In RW.02, Karangroto Subdistrict, KMS filling is only done by midwives and senior cadres, and some cadres do not know how to fill in KMS correctly. The aim of this community service is to improve the skills of toddler posyandu cadres in filling out KMS. The community service method used is by conducting KMS filling training. The target of this training activity was 10 toddler posyandu cadres which were carried out at the Mangga Early Childhood Center RW.02, Karangroto Village. The instrument used was a pre-post questionnaire and analyzed using the Paired Sample Test. The results of the training activities were that the average level of knowledge of cadres in filling out the KMS before the training was carried out was 10.78. After being given training, the average value of cadres' knowledge level about filling out KMS was 13.44. In conclusion, there is a difference in the level of knowledge of RW.02 toddler posyandu cadres in Karangroto Village before and after being given training on filling out the KMS.

Abstract

Pengabdian Kepada Masyarakat ini yang dilakukan di masa pelaksanaan Kurikulum Merdeka Belajar dalam bentuk P5 bertujuan membekali guru dan siswa dalam menghasilkan proyek budaya yang diangkat dari kearifan lokal. Adapun pelatihan penerjemahan Kidungan Jula-Juli bertujuan meningkatkan kemampuan para guru dan siswa dalam menerjemahkan teks puitis dari bahasa Indonesia ke dalam bahasa Inggris yang sarat dengan unsur kearifan lokal. Media promosi hasil proyek penerjemahan adalah di media sosial sehingga pelatihan ini juga memperkenalkan cara tepat mengedit hasil terjemah mesin penerjemahan sebagai salah satu bentuk kecerdasan buatan yang bisa digunakan. Sasaran kegiatan pelatihan ini ialah siswa-siswi serta para guru di SMAN 12 Surabaya dengan tujuan setelah dilangsungkannya kegiatan pelatihan ini, para siswa juga guru dapat lebih mengenal tentang kebudayaan lokal dan juga lebih terampil dalam bidang alih bahasa khususnya dari bahasa Indonesia ke bahasa Inggris maupun sebaliknya dan dapat menggunakan keterampilan tersebut dalam penerjemahan tulisan kreatif lainnya, seperti tulisan mengenai makanan lokal. Metode yang diterapkan dalam kegiatan pelaksanaan pelatihan ini ialah metode tutorial penerjemahan Kidungan Jula-Juli yang dikaitkan dengan kegiatan Menulis Kreatif Puisi Kidungan Jula-Juli oleh para siswa dan guru SMAN 12 Surabaya. Hasil dari kegiatan pengabdian masyarakat di SMAN 12 adalah siswa dan guru berkolaborasi menghasilkan puisi terjemahan Kidungan Jula-Juli yang akurat dan berterima. This Community Service occurred during the launch of Merdeka Curriculum, Freedom in Teaching Platform in the form of P5, aims to acknowledge teachers and students working with cultural projects based on local wisdom. Therefore, the Jula-Juli ballad translation training was conducted in order to encourage teachers and students to practice translating poetic texts from Indonesian into English or vice versa. Since the media for promoting translation project results is on social media, so this community service trains how to edit the translated result using machine translation results accurately and acceptability. The target of this service are the students and the teachers at SMAN 12 Surabaya. At the end of this community service, the students and the teachers will be able to translate poetic language from Indonesian to English and vice versa. Besides, these skills may have beneficial in translating other creative writings, such as writing about local food. The method in this community service applied the tutorial method where tutors help a small group of students and teachers at SMAN 12 Surabaya to improve their creative thinking as well as translation abilities in translating Jula-Juli Ballads. The result shows that the the translation projects produced by the collaboration between teachers and students have qualities.

Abstract

This article discusses community service activities aimed at training teachers of SMP IT Insan Permata Bojonegoro in utilizing learning technology, especially in making e-books using AI. This training aims to improve teachers' understanding of e-book applications, create teaching materials that can be accessed by students without being constrained by time and place, and provide better material visualization alternatives. The teachers are divided into groups to create e-books with relevant subject matter, involving hands-on practice in the creation of e-books. The comprehensive reflection and evaluation stage is an important step to ensure that community service goals are maximally achieved and provide sustainable benefits for teachers at SMP IT Insan Permata. This training is expected to open up new opportunities for a more modern and inclusive learning approach, as well as increase teachers' active involvement and participation in the learning process.

Abstract

Usaha Mikro Kecil dan Menengah merupakan salah satu tulang punggung perekonomian nasional di Indonesia. Salah satu masalah yang sering terjadi pada pelaku UMKM yaitu kemasan yang sederhana dan kurangnya promosi terkait produk UMKM. Salah satu Program KKN yaitu memberdayakan dan mengedukasi UMKM mengenai tata cara promosi dan packaging produk dengan baik. Kegiatan ini dilakukan di Desa Curugsewu, Kecamatan Patean, Kabupaten Kendal, Jawa Tengah Indonesia. Metode Pelaksanaan mencakup survei lapangan dan sosialisasi langsung yang melibatkan 20 pelaku UMKM. Hasil survei didapat bahwa kurangnya pemahaman Masyarakat tentang teknologi digital yang mengakibatkan kesulitan dalam melakukan promosi melalui media sosial dan membuat packaging yang menarik. Sehingga pelaksanaan KKN ini berperan penting dalam memberikan wawasan kepada pelaku UMKM mengenai tata cara promosi dan packaging dengan baik. Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises are one of the backbones of the national economy in Indonesia. One of the problems that often occurs in MSME actors is simple packaging and lack of promotion related to MSME products. One of the Community Service Programs in Empowering and educating MSMEs regarding proper promotion and product packaging procedures. This activity was carried out in Curugsewu Village, Patean District, Kendal Regency, Central Java, Indonesia. The implementation method includes field surveys and direct outreach involving 20 MSME actors. The survey results foundtheta the public’s lack of understanding of digital technology resulted in difficulties in promoting through social media and making attractive packaging. So that the implementation of KKN plays an important role in providing insight to MSME actors regarding proper promotion and packaging procedures.

Abstract

Program kegiatan pengabdian ini bertujuan untuk mengembangkan alat peraga Matematika, yakni "Pohon Penjumlahan" dan "Ular Tangga Matematika," sebagai solusi untuk meningkatkan pemahaman konsep Matematika siswa Sekolah Dasar (SD) di Padukuhan Karanggumuk 1. Permasalahan utama adalah kurangnya pemahaman konsep Matematika di tingkat dasar dan keterbatasan alat peraga yang dapat mendukung pemahaman konsep secara konkret. Melalui pendekatan Research and Development (R&D) dengan menggunakan model ADDIE, kegiatan ini bertujuan mengidentifikasi kebutuhan siswa, merancang, mengembangkan, mengimplementasikan, dan mengevaluasi efektivitas alat peraga yang dirancang. Metode pengabdian melibatkan observasi dan kuesioner terhadap 8 siswa SD kelas 1-6 di Padukuhan Karanggumuk 1. Hasil menunjukkan bahwa alat peraga tersebut berhasil meningkatkan minat belajar serta pemahaman konsep Matematika siswa melalui kegiatan MathVenture Meskipun demikian, evaluasi lebih lanjut diperlukan untuk menyempurnakan tingkat kesulitan soal cerita yang disajikan. Simpulannya, alat peraga tersebut memiliki potensi besar dalam meningkatkan pembelajaran Matematika di lingkungan sekolah dasar, namun memerlukan evaluasi lanjutan untuk kesuksesan jangka panjangnya. This community service program aims to develop mathematical teaching aids, namely "Addition Tree" and "Mathematical Ladder Snake," as a solution to improve the understanding of mathematical concepts of elementary school students in Padukuhan Karanggumuk 1. The main problem is the lack of understanding of mathematical concepts at the basic level and the limitations of teaching aids that can support the understanding of concepts concretely. Through a Research and Development (R&D) approach using the ADDIE model, this study aims to identify student needs, design, develop, implement, and evaluate the effectiveness of the designed teaching aids. The research method involved observation and questionnaires on 8 elementary school students in grades 1-6 in Padukuhan Karanggumuk 1. The results showed that the teaching aids succeeded in increasing students' interest in learning and understanding of mathematical concepts through MathVenture activities. However, further evaluation is needed to improve the difficulty of the story presented. In conclusion, the teaching aids have great potential in improving mathematics learning in elementary school environments, but require further evaluation for their long-term success.
