Abstract

Langkah strategis untuk meningkatkan daya saing barang yang dijual oleh para pengusaha adalah dengan memberdayakan Usaha Mikro, Kecil, dan Menengah (UMKM) melalui digitalisasi, khususnya di wilayah kepulauan seperti Kota Ambon di Provinsi Maluku. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk menyelidiki bagaimana produk lokal Kota Ambon dapat menjadi lebih kompetitif melalui penggunaan digitalisasi. Metodologi penelitian ini menggabungkan teknik kualitatif dan kuantitatif, dan data dikumpulkan melalui observasi partisipan, survei, wawancara mendalam, dan analisis dokumen. Sebagian besar pelaku UMKM di Kota Ambon yang berpartisipasi dalam penelitian ini adalah jurusan manajemen dari Fakultas Ekonomi dan Bisnis Universitas Pattimura, bersama dengan pihak terkait lainnya seperti fasilitas pelatihan dan perwakilan pemerintah daerah. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa media sosial dan platform e-commerce sangat memperluas jangkauan pasar di tingkat lokal dan nasional. Namun, masalah seperti akses internet terbatas, kurangnya pengetahuan tentang literasi digital, dan kurangnya pendanaan untuk investasi teknologi terus menjadi hambatan. Namun, telah ditunjukkan bahwa digitalisasi secara signifikan meningkatkan produktivitas dan daya saing UMKM di Ambon. Untuk meningkatkan pasar barang regional, penelitian ini dapat memberikan saran kepada pembuat kebijakan dan pemangku kepentingan terkait lainnya untuk memperkuat infrastruktur digital, menawarkan pelatihan berkelanjutan, dan mendorong keterlibatan UMKM dalam platform digital.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the concept of teacher ethics according to the Qur’an and Hadith, as well as its relevance to the thoughts of KH Imam Zarkasyi and Imam Al-Ghazali in the context of modern Islamic education. The research method used is library research with a qualitative-descriptive approach. The primary sources include Qur’anic verses and the Prophet’s Hadiths, while the secondary sources consist of scholarly works—both classical and contemporary—discussing teacher ethics. The results indicate that the Qur’an positions teachers as moral guides and mentors who lead learners toward truth, as reflected in Surah As-Saff [61]: 2–3, which emphasizes consistency between words and actions. The Prophet’s Hadith also describes teachers as the heirs of the prophets, bearing profound moral and spiritual responsibility. The perspectives of KH Imam Zarkasyi and Imam Al-Ghazali reinforce this concept by highlighting sincerity, trustworthiness, exemplary conduct, and moral education as the essence of a teacher’s role. Therefore, this study concludes that teacher ethics in Islam are not merely professional obligations but also transcendental values that play a crucial role in shaping students’ character in the modern educational era.

Abstract

Maggot larvae play a crucial role in the decomposition of organic waste, reducing waste volume while producing high-value products such as animal feed and organic fertilizer. This Community Service Program (Abdimas) is designed to optimize Maggot products as a potential solution for organic waste management, while simultaneously improving the economic resilience of micro, small, and medium enterprises (MSMEs). The program begins with coordination activities and an initial survey to assess the needs and conditions of MSMEs, followed by financial literacy training and a marketing strategy workshop to strengthen partners' managerial skills. Subsequent mentoring sessions emphasize product development, packaging innovation, and strengthening market competitiveness. The program's results indicate that Maggot product development has the potential to drive the economy for MSMEs, while providing an environmentally friendly approach to organic waste management and encouraging positive impacts on the community. Furthermore, the application of technology introduced by the Community Service Team has resulted in increased revenue for maggot businesses, specifically for MSMEs in Tangerang Regency, and opened up new opportunities for future business development.

Abstract

The outreach activities conducted by the author in this article were conducted in several specific villages, including Cipatik Village, West Bandung, and Danau Cala Village, Musi Banyuasin. The outreach activities were conducted over fifteen days. Hopefully with this socialization, the author's goals can be achieved in stages perfectly, starting from MSME stakeholders being able to think openly by accepting technological advances and of course their creativity will also increase, then MSME stakeholders can use digital technology well, then in the end MSME sales will increase, their income will also increase, and rural MSMEs can continue to be ongoing and even continue to develop over time.

Abstract

This study aims to develop Experiential Integration Theory (EIT) as a new theoretical framework that explains the relationship between empirical experience and the formation of conceptual understanding in integrated science learning. This research is motivated by the gap between the application of experiential learning and the lack of a theoretical basis explaining how concrete experiences support the integration of concepts across disciplines. The study uses a conceptual analysis and theoretical synthesis approach by examining the theory of experience (Kolb, 1984), science integration theory (Fogarty, 1991; Czerniak, 2007), and relevant research from 2018–2025. The study process includes three stages: literature identification, thematic analysis to find epistemological relationships between theories, and the preparation of a theoretical synthesis that links the empirical and reflective-conceptual dimensions. The results of the study produce three main propositions: 1. Authentic experience triggers cross-concept integration, 2. Conceptual integration strengthens scientific reflection, 3. The reflection-integration cycle forms deep conceptual cohesion.

Abstract

This research aims to analyze the integration of mathematics and science literacy in the context of digital technology-based education as an effort to answer the challenges of the 21st century. The method used is Systematic Literature Review (SLR) by examining 45 relevant national and international articles published between 2016–2025. The results of the study show that the use of digital technology such as virtual labs, augmented reality, learning management systems, and interactive media is able to improve students' conceptual understanding, numeracy literacy, and science literacy. The integration of STEAM and Project Based Learning approaches has proven to be effective in developing students' critical, creative, collaborative, and communication skills. In addition, teachers' digital literacy has an important role in the successful implementation of technology-based learning. However, the main challenges still arise in the aspect of infrastructure readiness, the gap in technology access between regions, and the uneven digital competence of educators. This research recommends strengthening teachers' digital competencies, developing an integrative mathematics-science-ICT curriculum, and collaboration between policy stakeholders to create an adaptive and globally competitive learning ecosystem.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis implementasi Problem-Based Learning (PBL) dalam pengembangan kemampuan berpikir kritis dan pemecahan masalah siswa pada pembelajaran sains abad ke-21. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah studi literatur terhadap 21 artikel ilmiah nasional dan internasional terakreditasi yang relevan dengan topik penelitian. Analisis dilakukan secara sistematis menggunakan metode analisis isi untuk mengidentifikasi efektivitas, strategi penerapan, serta tantangan PBL dalam konteks pembelajaran sains modern. Hasil kajian menunjukkan bahwa PBL secara konsisten berpengaruh positif terhadap peningkatan kemampuan berpikir kritis, pemecahan masalah, serta kompetensi abad ke-21 yang mencakup Critical Thinking, Creativity, Collaboration, dan Communication (4C). Integrasi PBL dengan pendekatan lain seperti STEM, Mind Mapping, dan Blended Learning terbukti memperkuat dampaknya terhadap motivasi belajar, kreativitas, dan literasi sains siswa. Selain itu, PBL mendorong pembelajaran yang berpusat pada siswa, meningkatkan kerja sama kelompok, dan membentuk kebiasaan reflektif. Namun, keberhasilan penerapannya sangat dipengaruhi oleh kesiapan guru, dukungan fasilitas, dan waktu pelaksanaan di kelas. Secara keseluruhan, PBL merupakan pendekatan pembelajaran yang efektif dan relevan dengan tuntutan abad ke-21, karena mampu membentuk peserta didik yang berpikir kritis, kreatif, kolaboratif, komunikatif, serta adaptif terhadap perkembangan ilmu pengetahuan dan teknologi

Abstract

Kegiatan pengabdian kepada masyarkat ini bertujuan untuk meningkatkan kapasitas produksi dan kualitas artistik di Sanggar Seni Mustika Budaya, Kabuapaten Konawe Selatan Desa Mataupe Kecamatan Andolo Barat, melalui pelatihan dan penyerahan teknologi inovasi alat produksi seni serta kostum penari. Program dilaksanakan dalam tiga tahap: identifikasi kebutuhan, pelatihan teknis, dan pendampingan pasca-penyerahan alat dengan pendekatan kualitatif melalui observasi, wawancara, dan dokumentasi visual. Hasil kegiatan menunjukkan peningkatan efisiensi kerja sebesar 40% dan peningkatan kualitas detail artistik pada kostum tari Punjari dan Jaranan Buto. Penyerahan alat seperti lighting system modern dan pemotong otomatis berkontribusi pada peningkatan mutu pertunjukan yang ditampilkan dalam pementasan kedua tarian. Selain itu, kegiatan ini menumbuhkan semangat kolaborasi, tanggung jawab, dan profesionalisme anggota sanggar. Program ini membuktikan bahwa sinergi antara seni, teknologi, dan pemberdayaan masyarakat mampu meningkatkan kualitas karya serta memperkuat ekonomi kreatif berbasis komunitas.

Abstract

This article discusses the role of natural resources (NR) in driving Indonesia's national economy. Natural resources (NR) are one of the main pillars of a country's economy. Sustainable development offers an integrative approach that emphasizes the importance of balancing current needs with the continuity of future generations. In this context, natural resource management strategies must include conservation-based planning, the use of environmentally friendly technologies, empowerment of local communities, and synergy among stakeholders. This study aims to examine various natural resource management strategies that align with sustainable development principles and provide policy recommendations that can be implemented at local and national levels. The results of the study are expected to contribute to formulating more just, efficient, and sustainable natural resource management policies

Abstract

This study aims to determine the antibacterial activity of ethanol extract of senduduk leaves (Melastoma malabathricum Lour.) in inhibiting bacterial growth in the nasal passages. Senduduk plants contain bioactive compounds such as flavonoids, tannins, and saponins that have the potential as natural antibacterials. The study was conducted experimentally in vitro at the Microbiology Laboratory of the Faculty of Mathematics and Natural Sciences, State University of Medan in September 2025 using the disc diffusion method. Senduduk leaf extraction was carried out by maceration using 96% ethanol. The positive control used was the antibiotic ciprofloxacin HCl, while the negative control used DMSO (Dimethyl Sulfoxide). The growth medium used was Mueller Hinton Agar (MHA), and antibacterial activity was measured based on the diameter of the inhibition zone around the test disc. The results showed that senduduk leaf extract produced an average inhibition zone of 9.61 mm, while ciprofloxacin HCl produced an inhibition zone of around 28.45 mm, and DMSO showed no inhibition zone. This study is the basis for the development of senduduk leaves as a potential natural antibacterial ingredient in the pharmaceutical and public health fields.
