Abstract

This study aims to determine how the theory of al-amwal relates to sharia transactions al amwal in fiqh muamalah al batiniyyah, al zahiriyah, al am, and al khas. The author uses a research approach library research method, which is a method that uses library sources such as books related to muamalah fiqh, journals, research results, and others related to the research topic. Amwal is a very important role in human life so that Islam has also provided learning about amwal from various forms, both in understanding, position and function, obtaining property and its utilization. As for the results of this study that the theory of al amwal in muamalah fiqh is widely explained by the scholars of the essence of property put forward by the majority of scholars and Hanafiyah scholars. According to the majority of scholars the property is not only material but also includes the benefits of an object. However, Hanafiyah scholars argue that what is meant by treasure is only material.

Abstract

The Fitnah al-Kubra is one of the most tragic events in Islamic history and is the primary cause of sectarian divisions among Muslims. The term "fitnah" in this context refers to the trials and tribulations that occurred after the death of the Prophet Muhammad, which triggered conflicts among the companions and the Muslim community. The climax of this event occurred with the outbreak of civil war during the reigns of Caliphs Uthman ibn Affan and Ali ibn Abi Talib, both of whom were killed. This division resulted in two major sects in Islam: Sunni and Shia, with deep-rooted political differences. Sectarianism in Islam, understood as a system of attitudes and practices that utilizes religious differences as a marker of social boundaries, has been defined by scholars such as Adib Abdulmajid, Liechty, Clegg, and Brewer. This phenomenon of sectarianism is not only prevalent in the Middle East but is also evident in the context of other Muslim countries, including Indonesia, which has the largest Muslim population in the world. This research will further examine the roots and impacts of sectarian conflict in the history and modern life of the Muslim community.

Abstract

: The spread of hoaxes has become a significant challenge in the digital era. False information can lead to division, trigger slander, and disrupt social harmony. In the context of Islam, hoaxes contradict the teachings that prioritize truth and honesty. Islamic da’wah media has great potential to serve as an effective tool in combating hoaxes. This study aims to explore the effectiveness of Islamic da’wah media in countering hoaxes from the perspective of Islamic teachings, supported by evidence from the Qur'an, Hadith, Ijma, and Qiyas. The consensus of Islamic scholars (Ijma) agrees that spreading falsehoods is forbidden, and through Qiyas, the dissemination of hoaxes in digital media is analogous to slander, which is also prohibited. This study employs a qualitative approach with a literature review and data analysis from various sources. The results show that Islamic da’wah media is effective in combating hoaxes through three main strategies: promoting the teaching of tabayyun, enhancing digital literacy among the community, and providing accurate information based on Islamic values. Additionally, collaboration between da’wah media, religious leaders, and government institutions is a key factor in its success. In conclusion, Islamic da’wah media can act as a stronghold against hoaxes if utilized strategically and wisely. Rooted in Islamic teachings, da’wah media contributes to preserving unity among Muslims and educating society on the importance of honesty and responsibility in communication.

Abstract

This research focuses on developing health-based da'wah as a holistic approach to increasing public health awareness within the framework of Islamic values. Health-based da'wah integrates religious teachings with modern health principles to encourage sustainable behavior change. In Islam, maintaining health is seen as a spiritual responsibility, as explained in the Koran and hadith, such as the importance of cleanliness, healthy eating patterns, and maintaining physical, mental and spiritual balance. The research method uses a qualitative-descriptive approach by examining Islamic literature and public health practices. This research found that da'wah bil hal, namely da'wah through concrete actions, is an effective method for conveying Islamic values ​​that are relevant to health. Examples include educating the public about the importance of maintaining cleanliness through the teaching "cleanliness is part of faith" or promoting healthy eating patterns by referring to the recommendations of the Prophet Muhammad. The research results show that health-based da'wah is able to reach various levels of society, both in urban and rural areas. This approach is also relevant for addressing increasing mental health challenges, especially in urban communities. In addition, collaboration between religious leaders, health practitioners and government institutions is needed to expand the impact of this da'wah. The research conclusion confirms that health-based da'wah not only plays a role in improving people's physical and mental well-being, but also strengthens spiritual awareness as a basis for living a healthy lifestyle according to Islamic teachings.

Abstract

Quran illiteracy has been problem in the Hidayatussibyan Taklim Assembly, Sadarkarya Village, Purwodadi District, Musi Rawas Regency. Based on data from the South Sumatera BPS 2022, it was recorded that 2.58% of the people in Musi Rawas Regency were illiterate in the Quran. Of the 30 congregation members, 50% were still at the 1-6 volume stage, and 50% had read the Quran. This study used a descriptive qualitative method with a case study approach. Data collection techniques included interviews, observations, and documentation. Counseling was carried out through activities reading the Quran, learning ablution, dhuha prayer, and tahlil, with material according to tajwid using the Iqro' method. The strategies implemented include: (1) grouping the congregation based on ability; (2) special guidance outside of routine religious studies; (3) providing learning materials such as Iqro', Juz Amma, and the Quran; (4) training in reading and writing the hijaiyah letters; and (5) a personal approach to building motivation. This strategy is effective in improving the ability to read the Qur'an and reducing the level of illiteracy among the congregation

Abstract

This article aims to examine the potential, issues, and strategic role of young Muslims in preaching, both as subjects and objects. Youth have a central position as agents of social and spiritual change, but they also face internal issues such as a crisis of Islamic identity and a lack of religious understanding, as well as external issues such as the influence of globalization, social media, and economic challenges. The methodology used is literature study with a qualitative approach. Data is obtained through analysis of relevant literature, including the Qur'an, hadith, academic books, and journal articles. This approach aims to deeply explore the potential of young people, identify the issues they face, and formulate practical preaching-based solutions. Findings show that youth have the ability to utilize digital media, art, and popular culture as effective preaching tools. As objects of preaching, they require relevant, dynamic, and dialogue-based approaches to strengthen faith and religious understanding. Synergy between family, educational institutions, scholars, and the community is essential to support the holistic development of young people. Innovative and contextual preaching is expected to strengthen the Islamic identity of youth while also addressing the challenges of modern times. With the right approach, young Muslims can be empowered to become a generation of faith, morality, and positive contribution to society.

Abstract

Perubahan dalam suatu organisasi merupakan suatu keniscayaan, termasuk dalam lembaga dakwah yang memiliki peran strategis dalam menyebarkan nilai-nilai keagamaan kepada masyarakat. Manajemen perubahan dalam sumber daya manusia (SDM) menjadi faktor kunci dalam memastikan bahwa lembaga dakwah dapat beradaptasi dengan dinamika sosial, budaya, dan teknologi yang terus berkembang. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis peran manajemen perubahan SDM dalam meningkatkan efektivitas dan keberlanjutan lembaga dakwah. Dengan menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif, penelitian ini mengkaji strategi manajemen perubahan yang diterapkan, tantangan yang dihadapi, serta dampak dari pengelolaan perubahan terhadap kinerja lembaga dakwah. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa manajemen perubahan yang baik dalam SDM dapat meningkatkan motivasi, kompetensi, serta komitmen para pendakwah dan pengurus lembaga dalam menjalankan tugas dakwah. Selain itu, adaptasi terhadap perkembangan teknologi dan perubahan sosial memungkinkan lembaga dakwah untuk tetap relevan dalam menyebarkan pesan-pesan keagamaan secara lebih luas dan efektif. Oleh karena itu, implementasi strategi perubahan yang terencana, komunikasi yang efektif, serta pengembangan kapasitas SDM menjadi faktor utama dalam keberhasilan transformasi lembaga dakwah. Abstract

This study aims to examine three major Sufi figures in the Islamic Sufi tradition, namely Ibn Arabi, Al-Hallaj, and Sheikh Siti Jenar, and the views of mu'tabar (trusted) scholars on their teachings and thoughts. This research uses a library research method with a descriptive-analytical approach. This method aims to explore in-depth the views of key figures relevant to the research topic—the views of scholars on three controversial Sufi figures: Ibn Arobi, Al-Hallaj, and Sheikh Siti Jenar. These three figures have had a significant influence on the development of Islamic mysticism, although their teachings are often seen as controversial. Ibn Arabi, with the concept of wahdat al-wujud (unity of existence), taught that everything in the universe is a manifestation of God, which can only be understood through inner search and spiritual awareness. His teachings on the unity of God and creation made a major contribution to Sufi thought, although it has been criticized by some circles because it is considered to have theological consequences that contradict mainstream Islamic teachings.

Abstract

This paper discusses the importance of the role of leaders in da'wah activities, especially in the context of participatory and collaborative da'wah. Leadership in da'wah not only involves the ability to lead and direct, but also demands skills in building communication, managing collaboration, and embracing active participation from various elements of society. Effective da'wah leaders are those who are able to build harmonious relationships, inspire engagement, and encourage constructive cooperation to achieve da'wah goals. The paper also analyzes several examples of successful da'wah leadership, identifies key factors that influence their success, and offers recommendations for leadership development in da'wah.

Abstract

Dakwah through mass media has become a key strategy in spreading Islamic teachings to a wide audience. Advances in information technology have enabled preachers to reach the public quickly and efficiently, especially through platforms such as television, radio, and social media. The purpose of this study is to identify problems in preaching and appropriate methods when preaching using digital-based mass media. The research method used is a literature review, a research method that involves searching, collecting, and analyzing secondary data sources such as books, journals, and other documents. The results of the study show that varying levels of religious understanding among the public also affect the acceptance of da'wah messages, requiring preachers to deliver material that is relevant and easily understood by various groups. Commercial pressures are an additional obstacle, as the mass media often prioritizes content that is more financially profitable over da'wah content, which is generally educational and serious in nature. The proposed solutions to overcome these challenges include the use of a contextual approach, adaptation of communication styles, segmentation of mad'u, and professionalization of da'wah through technology training. With this strategy, da'wah through the mass media can meet the needs of modern society without sacrificing the essence of Islamic teachings
