Abstract

Sustainable education is a crucial approach in shaping a competent and environmentally conscious generation. This article explores various aspects of sustainable education, including its definition, principles, challenges, the role of curriculum management, strategies, benefits, and implementation. According to Mujiati et al. (2023), sustainable education integrates academic knowledge with moral character. However, challenges such as limited resources and lack of understanding still persist (Fathurrochman, 2017). In the context of curriculum management, effective strategies include teacher training, the development of responsive curricula, and continuous evaluation. The benefits include improved education quality and stronger collaboration among stakeholders. Practical examples of implementation demonstrate how schools can integrate community-based projects and technology into the learning process to achieve the goals of sustainable education.

Abstract

The principal's ability to build effective communication has a major contribution in generating teacher morale. The purpose of this study is to find out the various communication strategies carried out by principals to improve teacher morale. This research uses a qualitative approach through literature study, by reviewing various references that discuss the effectiveness of principal communication and its relation to teacher work motivation. The results showed that open and systematizing communication patterns from principals have a positive influence on teachers' work motivation. Consistent and empathetic communication can create mutual trust and strengthen synergy between individuals in the school environment. In addition, providing positive feedback and appreciation for teachers' performance also plays a role in increasing their productivity. Thus, the principal's ability to establish good communication plays an important role in shaping a supportive and cooperative work culture, which in turn contributes to the growth of teachers' work motivation and the improvement of the quality of education in the school environment.

Abstract

Peralihan dari Kurikulum 2013 ke Kurikulum Merdeka di Indonesia menandai upaya adaptasi sistem pendidikan terhadap tuntutan pembelajaran abad ke-21. Kurikulum Merdeka hadir dengan penekanan pada pengembangan kompetensi esensial, karakter peserta didik, serta pembelajaran berbasis proyek, berbeda dengan Kurikulum 2013 yang lebih berfokus pada hasil dan pendekatan saintifik. Meskipun bertujuan untuk memberikan fleksibilitas dan relevansi, transisi ini tidak terlepas dari beragam permasalahan, terutama terkait kesiapan guru dan ketersediaan sumber daya yang belum merata. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis permasalahan yang timbul akibat perubahan kurikulum ini, khususnya terhadap siswa. Menggunakan metode Systematic Literature Review (SLR), data dikumpulkan dari berbagai bahan kajian seperti buku, jurnal, dan artikel ilmiah. Analisis mencakup perbandingan karakteristik dan tujuan kedua kurikulum, serta mengidentifikasi tantangan yang dihadapi siswa. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa siswa menghadapi kesulitan penyesuaian yang signifikan dalam aspek sosial, emosional, dan akademik. Penekanan pada asesmen yang lebih beragam dan tugas proyek yang kompleks dalam Kurikulum Merdeka dapat memicu stres akademik, kecemasan, dan frustrasi, yang berpotensi menurunkan motivasi belajar. Selain itu, kesenjangan sumber daya antar sekolah juga memperburuk dampak transisi ini. Penelitian ini menekankan urgensi pengawasan, dukungan berkelanjutan bagi guru, serta pemerataan ketersediaan sumber daya sebagai langkah krusial untuk meminimalisir permasalahan dan meningkatkan kualitas pembelajaran di Indonesia.

Abstract

Pengelolaan kurikulum yang efektif merupakan faktor penting dalam peningkatan kualitas pembelajaran. Artikel ini membahas pentingnya pengelolaan kurikulum yang optimal serta berbagai strategi yang dapat diterapkan untuk menciptakan pengalaman belajar yang bermakna dan sesuai dengan kebutuhan peserta didik. Optimalisasi pengelolaan kurikulum meliputi perencanaan yang komprehensif, pelaksanaan yang adaptif, dan evaluasi yang berkelanjutan agar tujuan pembelajaran dapat tercapai secara maksimal. Pada tahap perencanaan, kurikulum harus dirancang dengan memperhatikan relevansi materi, kebutuhan siswa, serta tantangan zaman modern. Saat pelaksanaan, guru berperan sebagai fasilitator yang mendorong pembelajaran aktif, kreatif, dan kolaboratif. Sementara itu, evaluasi rutin berfungsi untuk mengukur efektivitas kurikulum, mengidentifikasi hambatan, dan merumuskan solusi agar proses pembelajaran tetap dinamis dan inovatif. Selain itu, optimalisasi kurikulum juga mencakup integrasi teknologi pendidikan Untuk mengakomodasi pembelajaran yang lebih mudah disesuaikan, personal, dan efektif. Penggunaan platform digital, metode pembelajaran berbasis proyek, dan pendekatan diferensiasi menjadi elemen penting Guna mewujudkan suasana belajar yang interaktif dan kolaboratif dan relevan. Peningkatan kompetensi guru melalui pelatihan berkelanjutan juga memegang peranan esensial bagi tercapainya implementasi kurikulum yang efektif. Pengelolaan kurikulum yang terstruktur dan berorientasi pada kebutuhan peserta didik dapat meningkatkan motivasi belajar serta pemahaman materi. Dengan demikian, upaya pengoptimalan pengelolaan kurikulum tidak hanya membantu mencapai hasil belajar yang lebih baik, tetapi juga mempersiapkan peserta didik dengan kompetensi yang relevan untuk menghadapi tantangan masa depan

Abstract

This paper discusses the importance of protecting Intellectual Property Rights (IPR), especially patent rights, in facing challenges and opportunities in the era of globalization. Patents provide exclusive rights to inventors over their inventions, thus encouraging innovation, protecting copyright, and increasing the competitiveness of national industry. In the context of modern business and economy, patents play a strategic role as high-value commercial assets. The discussion in this paper includes the definition of patent rights, their role in encouraging economic growth and innovation, and legal protection provided through various laws and regulations in Indonesia, such as Law Number 13 of 2016 concerning Patents. This paper also highlights the obstacles in the implementation of patent rights, such as low public awareness, complicated bureaucratic processes, and weak law enforcement, as shown through a study of the e-KTP patent defense case. With a strong and effective patent protection system, Indonesia is expected to create an innovative and globally competitive business environment.

Abstract

The implementation of the Merdeka Curriculum faces various challenges, such as teacher readiness, limited resources, and lack of stakeholder support. This study aims to evaluate the implementation of the Merdeka Curriculum by identifying key challenges and formulating strategic solutions. The method used is a literature review by analyzing academic journals and policy documents. Data were obtained from nationally and internationally indexed journals discussing the implementation of this curriculum. The results indicate that although the Merdeka Curriculum offers flexibility, challenges remain in teacher preparedness, school infrastructure, and suboptimal evaluation mechanisms. Variations in the use of technology and teaching methods, limited access in certain areas, and unclear evaluation systems are the main obstacles. Solutions that can be implemented include technology-based teacher training, increased access to educational resources, and a more adaptive evaluation system. Support from the government, society, and educational institutions is a key factor in the successful implementation of this curriculum.

Abstract

Micro, Small, and Medium Enterprises (MSMEs) in Indonesia, especially the culinary sector, have great potential but are often hampered by inadequate financial management. Thi s research seeks to improve the sustainability of the Sempol Ayam Jooz MSME business in Bekasi City through the implementation of a Microsoft Excel-based financial management strategy. Qualitative methods are used with an approach of interviews, observations, and direct training to owners and employees. The results show that the previous manual financial recording system was ineffective. This research developed an Excel template to record daily transactions, sales, and provide a financial dashboard. Intensive training and mentoring are provided to ensure proper understanding and implementation. The application of Excel templates has been proven to provide practical solutions, increase operational efficiency, and support better business decision-making, thereby contributing to the sustainability of Sempol Ayam Jooz MSME business.

Abstract

This study aims to examine efforts to improve teacher competence in order to enhance school quality. The method used is library research by collecting data from various written sources, such as reference books and relevant journal articles. The results of the study indicate that teacher competence significantly influences the achievement of educational goals. The four core competencies, namely pedagogical, professional, social, and personal, are interrelated elements that must be continuously developed. Several strategies can be implemented to enhance both teacher competence and school quality, including: (1) active teacher participation in self-development through subject teacher forums, training, courses, and independent learning; (2) improving discipline in carrying out professional duties; (3) using creative and technologically adaptive learning media; (4) strengthening collaboration among principals, teachers, and students; and (5) implementing the Lesson Study model as a means of reflection and professional growth for teachers.

Abstract

Pendidikan inklusif bertujuan untuk menjamin kesempatan belajar yang adil bagi seluruh peserta didik, termasuk mereka yang memiliki kebutuhan khusus (ABK), dalam suasana belajar yang ramah dan mendukung. Di Indonesia, pelaksanaan pendidikan inklusif dilandasi oleh sejumlah regulasi, seperti Undang-Undang Nomor 20 Tahun 2003 dan Permendiknas Nomor 70 Tahun 2009, yang menegaskan bahwa setiap warga negara berhak memperoleh pendidikan tanpa perlakuan diskriminatif. Implementasi kebijakan ini berkontribusi terhadap perluasan akses pendidikan, menurunnya stigma sosial terhadap ABK, serta meningkatnya mutu pembelajaran dan terciptanya kesetaraan dalam masyarakat. Dalam pengelolaannya, kurikulum pendidikan inklusif dirancang melalui proses perencanaan, pengorganisasian, pelaksanaan, dan penilaian yang disesuaikan dengan kondisi dan kebutuhan peserta didik. Evaluasi secara berkala dilaksanakan guna menjamin bahwa pendidikan inklusif benar-benar mampu mendorong pemerataan akses dan peningkatan kualitas pendidikan untuk semua kalangan.

Abstract

This service journal highlights the efforts to develop the product packaging of chicken sempol in Sempol Ayam Wisnu micro-enterprise located in South Cikarang. This research was conducted using a qualitative approach, combining direct observation and interviews with MSME owners. This service program aims to improve the competitiveness of Sempol Ayam products in Cibatu Village, South Cikarang, by implementing effective branding and packaging strategies. Sempol Ayam micro-enterprise managed by Mr. Mustofa faces various challenges in terms of branding, packaging, and marketing, which have an impact on consumer perceptions and product positioning in an increasingly competitive market. Through qualitative methods involving in-depth observations and interviews, we identified an urgent need to improve the product's visual identity and packaging. The program included the development of a new attractive and memorable logo, as well as a tagline that reflects the product's values. In addition, we provided training on effective marketing strategies, including proper utilization of social media and promotional techniques, to expand market reach. The results of the program showed a significant increase in product appeal, selling points, and brand awareness among consumers. Hopefully, this strategy can empower Sempol Ayam MSMEs to continue to innovate, improve product quality, and ultimately contribute to the welfare of the local community. This program not only provides direct benefits to Pak Mustofa's business, but also serves as an inspiring example for other MSMEs in facing similar challenges in a competitive market
