Abstract

Kegiatan pengabdian kepada masyarakat ini bertujuan untuk memberikan pelatihan pada guru SMA/SMK dalam memanfaatkan TIK untuk pengembangan bahan ajar digital interaktif dan memberikan penjelasan metode evaluasi dalam pembelajaran daring yang efektif. Metode yang digunakan berupa pelatihan yang terdiri dari 3 tahapan kegiatan, yaitu persiapan, pelaksanaan, serta monitoring dan evaluasi. Hasil yang diperoleh menunjukkan bahwa melalui kegiatan ini guru mendapatkan tambahan pemahaman dan keterampilan untuk memanfaatkan TIK dalam pembuatan bahan ajar digital interaktif serta memiliki tambahan wawasan terkait sistem evaluasi dalam pembelajaran daring.

Abstract

One of the problems currently being faced by the Indonesian state is education which must continue in the midst of the Covid-19 pandemic. Direct or face-to-face learning cannot be carried out because there is a government policy to implement physical distancing, and requires the learning process to be carried out at home. Learning from home through online/distance learning is carried out to provide a meaningful learning experience for students, without being burdened with the demands of completing all curriculum achievements for grade promotion and graduation. Learning from home learning activities and tasks may vary between students, according to their individual interests and conditions, including considering the gap in access/facilities for learning at home. Service activities carried out with the aim of understanding and knowing what and how to learn from home during the pandemic and understanding the implementation of fun learning from home. The targets are elementary school teachers located in Metro City. The method used is the lecture method, question and answer method, and the method of giving examples. The expected condition after this service is an increase in teacher understanding and knowledge about what and how to learn from home that is fun and can provide a learning experience for students.

Abstract

Teachers are the spearhead in determining the quality of education. 21st Century Education will produce human beings who are intelligent and competitive with competence to develop themselves in the diverse situation and condition. Therefore, it is necessary to have a coaching program for teachers by involving educational institution in building literacy and numeracy strengthening by implementing responsibility that targets on the improvement of the competence and skills of elementary school teachers. Similarly, it requires full support from government programs that are carried out consistently. The implementation of free learning promoted by the government is an absolute requirement for every elementary school. The implementation of this service activity is planned through 5 stages of activity, namely (1) preparation, (2) training and workshops for strengthening literacy and numeracy which will be carried out offline by complying with health protocols; 3) assistance on collaborative projects to strengthen literacy and numeracy; 4) online sharing session regarding the implementation of literacy and numeracy strengthening for students, and (5) Reporting. The implementation of training activities succeeded in increasing the competence of elementary school teachers regarding knowledge of implementing independent curriculum learning in the high category (n-gain = 0.95). This activity produces learning products in the form of lesson plans, worksheets, evaluation materials based on literacy and numeracy by inserting an understanding of the Pancasila youth profile.

Abstract

Information Communication Technology (ICT) is one of the sub-sectors of technology that gave birth to many breakthroughs in the field of education in increasing the effectiveness and efficiency of the learning process. The use of ICT for education has become an option for various school institutions to increase efficiency in learning. The level of learning on the High School route, where the learning process is still relatively conventional (face to face), is actually no longer able to meet the increasingly complex educational needs of the community, requiring innovation and media that are able to cope with it. Android applications can be developed with a variety of software for developers. Android-based learning is expected to be one of the learning solutions, especially in the use of android-based historical learning media. Community service activities in the form of training and assistance in making history learning media at the Android-based high school level are carried out in two types, namely; 1) training activities, and 2) mentoring. The results of this community service activity are in accordance with the objectives of the activity, including: 1) History teachers at Senior High Schools in South Lampung Regency have been able to create android-based history learning media. 2) Teachers can implement android-based history learning media in history learning in the classroom. Based on the evaluation of the implementation of training and mentoring activities, it resulted in an increase in the ability of teachers in designing android-based historical learning media.

Abstract

This training aims to provide insight and understanding to Lampung language teachers throughout Bandarlampung about oral traditions, especially interview and piasan. The benefits obtained through this service are that it can improve abilities and skills in reading and developing the oral tradition of interviewing and piasan. in the context of maintaining and preserving the oral tradition of wawancan and piasan in Lampung Province. This service activity was carried out at FKIP, University of Lampung, involving all Regional Language Subject Teachers in Bandar Lampung City. The method used in this training is the work instruction training method. The number of participants for this training is 20 teachers who are members of the Lampung Language and Script MGMP throughout Bandar Lampung City. The success of this activity is measured by the assessment of results and processes. The success of this training is measured by evaluating the performance of reading interviews and writings by individual trainees. Furthermore, the process assessment is measured through an instrument in the form of a questionnaire that focuses on the aspects of the usefulness and success of the training implementation, which includes both training materials and training facilities and infrastructure. After participating in the training on reading interviews and writings, the competence of the teachers in reading interviews and writings has increased..

Abstract

The transformation in the national evaluation system from the National Examination to the Minimum Competency Assessment (MCA), has a direct impact and problem, especially for students and teachers related to adaptation and competency improvement. This community service activity aims to improve the knowledge and skills of high school teachers in Lampung Province in developing competency assessments and character surveys as the main component of MCA. The Lampung Province MKKS as partners played an important role in selecting, permitting, and following up on the results of the training activities of 45 participating teachers. The method of this activity are demonstrations, simulations, and workshops that were focused on training skills in developing competency assessment instruments and character surveys. Teachers’ improvement knowledge and skills were measured through pretest, posttest, and product assessment. The results of the analysis showed that the teachers experienced a significant increase in ability as indicated by the average normalized gain score of 0.12, the maximum score for the teacher's ability reached 85 out of 100, there were no teachers score = 0, and > 75% of teachers responded positively to the community service activities. The results of the product assessment are good categorized, which were presenting the teachers’ success in developing the instrument. These finding indicate that the training activity could be declared successful.

Abstract

Museums are institutions, places of storage, care, security, and utilization of material evidence of human culture, nature and the environment to support efforts to protect and preserve the nation's cultural wealth. the existence of a museum that includes cultural heritage buildings requires extra care. If humans have to bathe, exercise, and take care of the body to a beauty salon. The maintenance of the museum's collection in practice is carried out by conservators who have expertise in the fields of chemistry, physics, biology and materials science. Therefore, efforts from all elements ranging from owners, managers, stakeholders and the public are needed in knowing and understanding the basic concept of caring for a museum collection as an asset that must be maintained and remain sustainable. This epic merger requires considerable effort, because in some cases there are still owners or managers who take care of the museum individually do not know too much about the technique of caring for museum collection objects, in this case the Semaka Museum of Unity. Therefore, training is needed for the owners, managers and the community in terms of assistance in implementing the maintenance technique for the collection of the Semaka Kekhatuan Museum in Tanggamus Regency, Lampung province.

Abstract

Facing technology's rapid development, teachers must continue to learn and innovate. Teachers must be able to lead, innovate and make changes to develop the quality of their schools. On an independent initiative, a teacher can make himself a reflective and innovative teacher. One of the efforts that can be made is through mentoring activities in conducting learning analysis with TBLA. To reflect on learning, the teacher must first understand the principles of reflection, analyze the reflection results and interpret them. The analysis of respondents from mathematics teachers in Lampung Province (February-March 2022) revealed that teachers' understanding of learning reflection and its benefits was still low. Therefore, mentoring activities in learning analysis with TBLA for mathematics teachers were carried out. Based on the implementation results, the service activities showed an increase in the understanding and skills of the participating teachers regarding the analysis of learning reflection with TBLA. This is indicated by the significant average score of the n-gain theory of 0.41 (medium improvement category). One teacher from 15 participating teachers has carried out practice/assistance as an example of its application. However, the practice carried out by model teachers is the first step in creating reflective and innovative teachers. Teachers who can analyze situations in the learning process can open up problems during learning so that teachers get input for improving their learning. Therefore, increasing the knowledge and skills of the participating teachers regarding analysis and reflection of learning with TBLA has to be improved even more.

Abstract

: Light diffraction material in physics becomes a material that is felt quite difficult for students. Therefore, to reduce these difficulties, teachers are expected to be able to create and develop learning aids that can increase student interest and understanding. This activity aims to improve the ability and skills of physics teachers in making and developing arduino-based light diffraction teaching aids and tracker software. The method used is active participatory. The conclusion of the implementation of this service is that there is an increase in the ability of participants to develop light diffraction displays by utilizing Arduino-based electronic waste and tracker software to train Science Process Skills in the endemic era of covid-19 for high school physics teachers in Lampung Province.

Abstract

Health is a basic need for every individual. Health is not only related to physical health, but also mental health. Psychological wellbeing is a manifestation of an individual's mental health. Psychological wellbeing is positively correlated with social support, internal locus of control, optimism, job satisfaction, self-efficacy, contextual performance, gratitude, resilience, and job involvement. Individual processes to achieve psychological wellbeing need to be pursued through the provision of systematic guidance services. Information service is one of the important services to be implemented because every individual is basically thirsty for information. Information can be used by individuals to increase their knowledge and understanding of the concept of psychological wellbeing. This community service is designed to implement psychological wellbeing information services with educational comic media. Educational comics media are considered to be more effective in delivering information, more varied so that they do not become saturated, and can be accessed wherever they are.
