This study aims to determine the implementation of the "PSP" at Public Elementary Schools. The method used was qualitative with the type of field research. Data were collected through observation, interviews, and documentation studies at Public Elementary School (SDN) 2 Banyu Urip. The results showed: 1. The SDN 2 Banyu Urip had implemented five interventions of "PSP" including asymmetric mentoring, strengthening human resources, learning with a new paradigm, data-based planning, and school digitalization. 2. The "PSP" affects five PAI teacher competencies. 3. PAI teachers play a role in programs such as the Pancasila Student Profile Strengthening Project (P5). 4. The challenges faced by PAI teachers include difficulties in collaborating with parents and the community. This study provides an overview of how the role of PAI teachers can be optimized to support the success of the "PSP."

Abstract

This research explores the role of artificial intelligence (AI) integration in increasing student independence and creativity while completing the final project in higher education. This research is based on technological advances in artificial intelligence used by students in their final projects as a form of creativity and student independence. This study uses a qualitative approach with a multi-case case study design in two Islamic religious universities. Data was collected through in-depth interviews with several lecturers and students and top management as informants, observations, and documentation analysis, which were then analyzed using data reduction techniques and inductive conclusions drawn. The main findings of this study reveal that the application of AI in final projects not only speeds up the completion process but also stimulates students' creativity through advanced analytical tools that allow them to explore innovative solutions to complex problems. In addition, AI will enable students to develop research independence and encourage them to think critically and adaptively to technological changes in an academic context. The research findings as a practical contribution show that integrating AI in the curriculum and final projects can enrich the learning process, broaden academic horizons, and improve students' readiness to face rapidly evolving industry challenges.

Abstract

This study aims to reveal the values of Islamic education contained in the tradition of childbirth. This study uses a qualitative approach with a case study method in Sidomukti village, Banyuasin Regency, South Sumatra. The study subjects included parents who had just given birth, community leaders, and religious leaders selected through purposive sampling techniques. Data were collected through in-depth interviews, participant observation, and document analysis. The study had three main findings. First, birth traditions such as aqiqah and naming reflect the values of Islamic education, gratitude to Allah, and a commitment to instilling spiritual values from an early age. Second, the involvement of religious leaders in naming emphasizes the importance of religious guidance in children's education, which is seen as the beginning of the formation of Islamic character. Third, the Thanksgiving event after the aqiqah is a forum for strengthening social ties, delivering religious advice to parents, and strengthening community support in children's education. In conclusion, the birth tradition in Sidomukti is not only a social ritual but also a medium for character and spiritual education based on Islamic values. This study recommends integrating these values into formal and non-formal education curricula to support forming a generation with Islamic character and high spiritual awareness

Abstract

One of the most critical competencies a teacher must possess is effectively assessing learning. To achieve this, prospective teachers need to develop the skill of crafting high-quality questions that meet three essential criteria: alignment with learning objectives, the capacity to measure higher-order cognitive skills, and the use of precise and clear question narratives. This study focuses on implementing portfolio assessment in the Islamic Religious Education (PAI) learning evaluation course, which aims to improve students' ability to make questions as a tool in learning evaluation. The research adopts a qualitative approach, specifically Classroom Action Research (CAR), to explore the impact of this intervention. The findings of this study reveal significant improvements in students' ability to formulate questions, as measured by three key indicators. First, students demonstrated a marked progression in their ability to create questions that align with learning objectives, advancing from the "poor" category to the "very good" category. Second, there was a notable shift in the cognitive level of the questions produced, with students moving from constructing questions that targeted lower-order thinking skills (levels 1-2) to those that engaged medium-level cognitive processes (levels 3-4). Third, students exhibited a substantial enhancement in their ability to compose question narratives that are both precise and clear, transitioning from an initial "poor" categorization to a "very good" level of proficiency. Therefore, the study concludes that integrating portfolio assignments into the curriculum is an effective strategy for developing question design skills among prospective PAI teachers.

Abstract

In recent times, sex education has become an urgent matter to be conveyed, considering the many cases of sexual violence targeting children, especially in educational institutions. This community service was conducted at two State Elementary Schools in Tanjunganom Nganjuk. The CBR method has four stages: laying the foundation, planning, information gathering and analysis and acting on findings. This community service shows the results that sex education at Tanjunganom Elementary School is carried out through three strategic steps; the first is collaboration, which is carried out together with KKG PAI Tanjunganom. Second is material construction, namely determining the material adopted through underware rules, which is then integrated with Islamic education. Third, stimulus provision, namely in the form of a competition with the theme My Body is My Own and Good Secret and Bad Secret. In the implementation of sex education, it can significantly increase students' knowledge. The implementation of sex education cannot be separated from the provision of material about Islamic morals. In addition, sex education at the Elementary School level, which is carried out through various methods, must also be balanced with discussions and lectures as an actualization of the construction of material in children's memories. This form of education is an effective preventive step in reducing the number of cases of sexual violence.

Abstract

This study aims to integrate the concept of ta'dib, which emphasizes the formation of manners, morals, and ethics as proposed by Syed Naquib al-Attas, with the 5S program (Smile, Greeting, Greeting, Polite, Courteous) in the context of character education at SMK ICB Cinta Niaga. A qualitative approach with a case study design was used to explore the implementation of this program and its impact on student character building. Data were collected through interviews, observations, and document analysis, then analyzed using NVivo12 software. The results show that ta'dib values in the 5S program can enhance various aspects of students' character development, particularly in improving students' social interactions (such as mutual respect and cooperation among peers), fostering harmonious teacher-student relationships (through enhanced communication and mutual appreciation), and strengthening the habituation of positive behaviors (such as discipline, responsibility, and empathy). Ta'dib values are reflected in simple yet meaningful habits that support holistic character building in accordance with Islamic values. This finding confirms the relevance of ta'dib in modern education to answer the challenges of globalization. However, this study has limitations in the limited scope of the school, so the generalization of the results of this study is a challenge. Further research is recommended to expand the scope of locations and use a mixed-method approach to deepen the analysis and produce more comprehensive findings.
