Abstract

This community service program aims to conduct storytelling training on the folklore "Nasi Menangis" as a means to enhance appreciation for oral traditions, reduce food waste, and foster the habit of mindful eating among students of SD Negeri 01 Ngijo, Semarang. The Nasi Menangis folklore conveys moral messages about respecting food and the importance of minimizing food waste. Through a series of training activities, parents of the students are encouraged to understand and appreciate the rich local culture embedded in the folklore. Additionally, they gain insights into the significance of mitigating food waste to support environmental sustainability. This program also introduces the concept of mindful eating practicing full awareness while eating to help students develop healthier and more sustainable eating habits. The implementation of the program involves collaboration between the school, educators, parents, and students. An evaluation process measures the program’s impact on the parents’ efforts to improve students' understanding of oral traditions, food waste mitigation, and mindful eating habits. Abstract

21st century skills, often referred to as 6C, are not only learning objectives but also the foundation for creating individuals who can compete globally. In response to these needs, various innovative learning approaches have begun to be applied in the education system. One of them is Project Based Learning (PjBL). Based on these reasons, this study aims to analyze the trend of project based learning models in improving 6C skills. This study uses the Systematic Literature Review (SLR) method with the PRISMA method. Data collection was carried out by analyzing 500 related articles found on Google Scholar. After the selection process is complete, the data collected will be presented in narrative form. The results of this study underline that Project-Based Learning (PjBL) is an effective learning method to support skill development, both in academic and non-academic aspects. Although there are a number of challenges in its implementation, the advantages of PjBL in encouraging motivation, increasing engagement, and shaping student character make it a feasible approach to be implemented widely at various levels of education. The implication of this finding is the need for integration of PjBL into the education curriculum with adequate training support for educators so that this method can be applied optimally and have a positive impact on the quality of learning.

Abstract

This study is based on the low mathematics achievement scores in fractions obtained by students and previous research findings that show inconsistent results regarding the relationship between emotional intelligence, self-efficacy, learning independence, and learning outcomes. Learning outcomes are influenced by both internal and external factors. The internal factors include emotional intelligence, self-efficacy, and learning independence, while the external factor is the role of the teacher leadership. The purpose of this study is to examine the effect of emotional intelligence, self-efficacy, and learning independence on students' learning outcomes and to test the effect of emotional intelligence, self-efficacy, and learning independence on mathematics achievement in fractions through the role of the teacher leadership as a moderating variable. The population in this study consists of fourth-grade students from 4 elementary schools in Pangkah sub-district that have a teacher leadership in their institution, with a sample size of 100 respondents using purposive sampling. Data collection was carried out by distributing questionnaires and documentation. The data analysis technique used is moderation regression analysis with a significance level of 5%. The results of the study show that emotional intelligence has a positive and significant effect on mathematics learning outcomes, with a t-value of 3.302 and p = 0.001, which is smaller than 0.05. Self-confidence also has a positive and significant effect on mathematics learning outcomes, with a t-value of 3.268 and p = 0.002. Since p < 0.05, learning independence has a positive and significant effect on learning outcomes with a t-value of 2.096 and p = 0.039. The role of the teacher leadership has a positive effect on learning outcomes, with a t-value of 2.572 and p = 0.012, which is smaller than 0.05. The results of the moderation regression analysis show that emotional intelligence has a positive and significant effect on mathematics achievement in fractions through the moderating variable of the teacher leadership with a t-value of 2.880 and p = 0.005, p < 0.05. self-efficacy also affects mathematics learning outcomes through the teacher's leadership role as a moderating variable with a t-value of 3.028 and p = 0.003, and learning independence affects mathematics learning outcomes through the teacher’s leadership role as a moderating variable with a t-value of 2.496 and p = 0.014, p < 0.05. Based on the research findings, it can be concluded that emotional intelligence, self-efficacy, and learning independence have a positive and significant direct effect on mathematics learning outcomes in fractions. Furthermore, with the role of the teacher as a change agent, emotional intelligence, self-confidence, and learning independence significantly influence mathematics learning outcomes in fractions.

Abstract

The concept of inclusive schools has the goal of realizing justice for all students. By providing opportunities for joint and equal learning in regular schools. However, the practice of inclusive schools still faces many challenges, especially from the factor of school readiness. This study analyzes the application of the value of justice in the implementation of the inclusion school policy at SMPN 10 Pekalongan as well as the role of the Pekalongan City Education Office in striving to implement the value of social justice. This research uses a qualitative approach with a case study method. Data were obtained through interviews with guidance and counseling teachers and the Principal of SMPN 10 Pekalongan, education staff of the Education Office, and psychologist of H. A. Zaky Djunaid Hospital, observations were made at school, and during the process of mentoring students, as well as analysis of policy documents. The data obtained in the field was analyzed using the Miles and Huberman analysis method. The results of the study show that although schools have made good efforts to implement inclusive school policies, there are still obstacles, such as limited facilities, lack of funding and professional personnel, and there is still an inappropriate perception of education and the concept of inclusive schools from some parents. This unpreparedness has an impact on the effectiveness of inclusive learning and the welfare of students with special needs. A comprehensive strategy is needed, including teacher capacity building, provision of adequate facilities, and collaboration with stakeholders to ensure inclusive education truly embodies justice for all learners.
