Abstract

Portfolio analysis is important for investors as a basis to diversify stock to form the optimal portfolio. The optimal portfolio can be determined by the Single Index Model which  is simple and easy to operate. The purpose of this study was to obtain empirical evidence determining the difference of return portfolios using Portfolio Single Index Model and random. This study uses the company shares Kompas 100 Index on the period of  January 2014 as the population. The research sample are 93 stocks which are selected by purposive sampling. Then the 68 selected candidates stock of  portfolio which have specific criteria for Single Index Model have ERBi value greater than ERBi value on the cut off point. The data were analyzed by using different test Paired Samples T-Test. The results shows that there are differences in the determination of portfolio return using the Single Index Model and random portfolio, in which the use of Single Index Model may provide a higher return than the Random portfolios.

Abstract

The banking sector is an attractive sector for investors to receive a return.  The ambition of this investigation is to appreciate the character of the bank's performance in theinteraction of  macro-economic and stock returns in banking sector BEI. 23 banking companies used to be sample using purposive method with the provisions of banking companies during the 2010-2014 period did not suffer losses.  The role of mediation was tested using path analysis and Sobel test This investigation resulted in the depreciation of macroeconomic causes decreased stock return and increase the good performance of banks led to an increase in stock return. Instead bank performance positively and significantly influenced by the macro economy. Sobel test proved that the role of performance of the bank as a partial mediation in the relationship of macroeconomic influence to stock return of the banking sector in the BEI.

Abstract

This study directly applying the Single Index Model and Stochastic Dominance to solve the problem of portfolio selection. This study aims to determine the performance difference between the Single Index Model and Stochastic Dominance. The use of secondary data used in this study with a sample selection purposive sampling techniques. When viewed under a single portfolio return index return model is able to produce a portfolio of (1%) and stochastic dominace return of (1.2%). The results showed that the value of the portfolio formation Stochastic Dominance has a higher Treynor index is 6.554% compared to the Single Index Model with Treynor index of 3.423%.

Abstract

ABSTRACT This study aims to determine the influence of Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) and the Capital Structure on Firm Values Manufacturing Company classified as High and Low Profile with financial as moderating variables. This research, with total population of 132 companies in Indonesia Stock Exchange, using non-probability sampling method, using purposive sampling technique in order to obtain the 10 companies for sample. The analysis showed that the Corporate Social Responsibility effect on the value of the company, while the capital structure does not affect the firm value of the company. The analysis also shows that financial performance is proxied by the ROA was not able to moderate the influence of Corporate Social Responsility and capital structure on the firm value of companies classified as High and Low Profile.

Abstract

Economic activity in the province of Bali and Denpasar especially generally relies on the tourism sector. Denpasar City is one of the main destinations of migrants in the province of Bali. This is caused by the construction is done tends to converge to this area, which is reflected by the concentration of the various activities that act as a center of government, economy and trade, educational activities, health services, and tourism activities. This study aims to analyze; 1) the influence of age, sex, marital status, education, and work experience on the income of migrant workers nonpermanen 2) the influence of age, sex, marital status, education, work experience and income towards remittances by migrant workers nonpermanen to the area of ??origin, 3 ) the indirect effect of age, gender, marital status, education, and work experience to remittances by migrant workers nonpermanen through the income of migrant workers nonpermanent, 4) income mediate against age, sex, marital status, education, and work experience of the delivery remittance nonpermanen by migrant workers to their home area in West Denpasar District.

Abstract

The purpose of this study to obtain empirical evidence of the influence of the professionalism and independence of the auditor's performance, as well as the influence of organizational commitment moderating influence on the professionalism and independence of the auditor performance. This study used a questionnaire as a primary data. Auditors who worked in public accounting in Bali as many as 64 respondents auditors is obtained using purposive sampling technique. Data analysis technique used is multiple regression analysis and moderation regression analysis to see the coefficient of determination, the value of F statistics and statistical values ??t.The results obtained are professionalism effect on the performance of auditors, auditor independence affects the performance, organizational commitment strengthen the influence of professionalism in the performance of auditors, and organizational commitment to strengthen the influence on the performance of auditor independence. Organizational commitment can be categorized as quasi moderation in this study.

Abstract

The purpose of this study was to obtain empirical evidence Influence Perceived Ease of Use, Perceived Risk Of Trust and Intent to Buy E-Ticket On Site Traveloka. The sample was taken by purposive sampling technique. Indicators research counted 18 indicators and the total respondents were 180 people. Collecting data using questionnaire technique, which is where the questionnaire using a Likert scale with 5 possible answers 1 through 5 and analysis tools using SEM (Strucutral Equation Modeling). The result is that the perceived ease of use positive and significant impact on the trust and purchase intentions. Risk perception negatively affect purchase intentions and trust, and the trust has positive influence on purchase intentions. The theoretical implications of this research are not all variables are positive and significant effect as well as the influence of risk perception negatively affect purchase intentions. The practical implications are useful for companies to explore the perception of risk from a consumer standpoint. for the future, first consider the needs and desires on the purchase of e-ticket.

Abstract

This study aims to identify and obtain empirical evidence of moderation of organizational commitment, internal locus of control and uncertainty of the environment against the effects of participatory budgeting in the budgetary slack. Collecting data using primary data collected using questionnaire techniques. The total sample of 232 echelons of sectors in the Bali Provincial Government selected based method of proportionate stratified random side. Data analysis technique used is moderation regression analysis (MRA). The results obtained are the result of a test of organizational commitment indicates that there is moderation organizational commitment and weaken the influence of participatory budgeting in the budgetary slack, there is a moderation of internal locus of control and weaken the influence of participatory budgeting in the budgetary slack and there is a moderation of the uncertainty of the environment and strengthening the influence of participatory budgeting on budgetary slack.

Abstract

Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk memberikan penjelasan mengenai peran komitmen organisasional dalam memediasi pengaruh stres kerja dan kepuasan kerja terhadap intensi keluar. Pengumpulan data menggunakan sample jenuh terhadap 63 responden dimana semua responden berasal dari Abalone restauran. Penelitian ini menggunakan teknik analisis data Partial Least Square (PLS) dan dalam penghitungan peran mediasi menggunakan Variance Accounted For (VAF). Penelitian ini menunjukkan hasil bahwa stres kerja terhadap intensi keluar berpengaruh positif. Stres kerja juga terhadap komitmen organisasional berpengaruh negatif. Kepuasan kerja terhadap komitmen organisasional berpengaruh positif. Kepuasan kerja dan komitmen organisasional terhadap intensi keluar karyawan berpengaruh negatif. Stres kerja dan kepuasan kerja terhadap intensi keluar dimediasi oleh komitmen organisasional.

Abstract

This study aims to explain the effect of motivation on job satisfaction and turnover intention of the assistant Kumon class in Bali and Lombok. The population of the study are 347 people, consist of the assistant of the 40 classes in Bali and Lombok so by using probability sampling method and the slovin formula, respondents of this study are 78 people. The used of analytical methods is path analysis. The results of this study indicate that 1) the motivation has positive and significant impact on job satisfaction, 2) job satisfaction significantly and negatively related to the turnover intention, 3) motivation has significant negative effect to the turnover intention, and 4) motivation has significant negative effect to the turnover intention through job satisfaction.
