Abstract

Keeping fish in aquariums has become one of the people's hobbies. An important factor in fish maintenance is the process of feeding and controlling the temperature of the aquarium. However, with various activities, fish care is often not carried out properly. This study develops an automatic system for feeding and controlling the temperature of the aquarium with goldfish as the test object. This study designs an automatic system to control the temperature and feeding in the aquarium using hardware such as a DS18B20 temperature sensor, load cell, and ultrasonic sensor. This system is controlled by ESP32 for reading sensor data and Arduino Uno for controlling the relay, cooling system, heater, and servo motor. ESP32 reads sensor data and sends it via MQTT to Node-red. Based on this data, the system regulates the temperature by activating the cooler (peltier and water pump) if the temperature is >28℃ and turning off the cooler when the temperature is <26℃. The heater is active if the temperature is <24℃ and stops when the temperature reaches 26℃. Feeding is carried out according to schedule, with servo 1 dropping feed into the load cell until the weight reaches the target weight. After that, servo 2 moves the feed into the aquarium. If the weight has not reached the target, servo 1 continues to be active. Based on the test, the average percentage of error in the temperature sensor is 0,08%, the weight sensor is 1.10%, and the ultrasonic sensor is 1.61%. This system successfully performs four times a day feeding and controls the temperature within the optimal range for goldfish, which is 24-28℃. The test results show that this system functions well and is in accordance with the research objectives.

Abstract

Abstract

Wood is an important natural resource in construction and the furniture industry, with various types possessing unique characteristics. The selection of wood types is often done manually, which is prone to errors that can negatively impact the working process, product quality, and the sustainability of the forests that source the wood. Therefore, this research aims to improve classification accuracy through the application of technology. This study utilizes Convolutional Neural Network (CNN) with the VGG16 architecture to process images in analyzing the visual characteristics of wood, with the goal of building a model capable of classifying wood types based on images. The dataset used consists of 1,584 samples of wood images sourced from Kaggle. Four models were tested with variations in the training and validation data splits, as well as the use of Adam and Adamax optimizers, over 100 epochs. Model 1 achieved a training accuracy of 96.68% and a testing accuracy of 98.10%. Model 2, with a training accuracy of 99.47% and a testing accuracy of 98.41%, showed the best performance. Models 3 and 4 also yielded testing accuracies of 97.46% and 97.78%, respectively. The results of this study indicate that the application of CNN with the VGG16 architecture can enhance the effectiveness of wood type classification and contribute to more accurate and efficient wood selection practices.

Abstract

This research was conducted to regulate the queuing process which is often longer than the service standards set in the Decree of the Minister of Health Number 129 / Menkes / SK / II / 2008 stipulates that the waiting time for outpatients is equal to 60 minutes or less than 60 minutes, This study aims to design and build a website-based electronic queuing system at Puskesmas Donggala using the Priority Queue algorithm and the Multi Channel Multi Phase method. This system is designed to improve the efficiency of patient registration by reducing waiting time and providing priority for patients with emergency conditions. The research method includes data collection through observation and interviews, as well as system testing through simulation. The results show that the proposed system can reduce waiting time and increase patient satisfaction. The implementation of this system is expected to provide an effective solution to queuing problems in health facilities.

Abstract

Penelitian ini berfokus pada pembuatan sistem yang dapat memonitoring potensi bahaya kecelakaan kerja di PT Citra Palu Minerls, membuat arsip data perlaporan lebih administratif dan keamanan pada data pribadi pelapor. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mempermudah dalam pembuatan pelaporan potensi bahaya kecelakaan kerja serta implementasi algoritma RSA pada sistem. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode kualitatif dengan observasi, wawancara, dan dokumentasi. Penelitian ini melibatkan wawancara dengan Kepala Departemen Health, Safety, and Environment (HSE), Departemen Elektrik, dan beberapa karyawan yang ada di PT Citra Palu Minerals sebagai gambaran yang akurat sesuai kebutuhan pengguna. Sistem monitoring ini bernama HIAS (Hazard Information and Suggestion) dibuat menggunakan bahasa pemrograman React js membangun antarmuka pengguna (UI) dan Express js sebagai perancang sistem atau logika back-end pada aplikasi. Hasil pengujian menggunakan metode EUCS untuk menunjukkan tingkat ketidakpuasan sebelum adanya sistem monitoring dengan skor rata-rata 1,58. Sementara itu, untuk pengujian tingkat kepuasan setelah sistem monitoring, dengan skor rata-rata 4,6. Hal ini menunjukkan bahwa setelah adanya sistem monitoring, keberhasilan dalam membangun sistem ini sesuai dengan kebutuhan dan permasalahan yang ada.

Abstract

Pelantikan Agus Harimurti Yudhoyono sebagai Menteri Agraria dan Tata Ruang/Badan Pertanahan Nasional (ATR/BPN) telah memicu berbagai reaksi publik yang terekam dalam media sosial X. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis sentimen publik terhadap pelantikan tersebut menggunakan algoritma Support Vector Machine (SVM) dan teknik Synthetic Minority Oversampling Technique (SMOTE). Data yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini diambil dari komentar masyarakat di media sosial X, yang kemudian diolah untuk membedakan antara sentimen positif, negatif, dan netral. Dalam proses analisis, data awal yang diperoleh cenderung tidak seimbang, dengan jumlah data sentimen negatif yang lebih banyak dibandingkan dengan sentimen positif dan netral. Oleh karena itu, teknik SMOTE diterapkan untuk mengatasi ketidakseimbangan kelas dan meningkatkan performa model. Algoritma SVM kemudian digunakan untuk melakukan klasifikasi sentimen. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa model SVM yang diimbangi dengan SMOTE memiliki tingkat akurasi yang tinggi dalam mengklasifikasikan sentimen publik dibandingkan dengan model tanpa SMOTE dengan akurasi sebesar 0.93, presisi sebesar 0.93 dan recall sebesar 0.93.

Abstract

Technology facilitates the process of futsal field rental, such as payment queueing and real-time monitoring. An Android application has been developed to manage payment queueing and futsal field rental at Novega Futsal Court, addressing inefficiencies of traditional methods that decrease customer satisfaction. Utilizing Rapid Application Development (RAD) and First In First Out (FIFO) method, this application designed expedite and enhance the queueing process. Data was collected through direct interaction with respondents and on-site observation, while its development involved the use of React Native and Node.js. Testing results indicate the application functions as expected, enabling users to easily rent and pay, and assisting managers in efficiently organizing queues. This application enhances service efficiency and customer satisfaction, making a positive contribution to technology-based futsal management.

Abstract

Batik Bomba merupakan kain tradisional khas suku Kaili yang menjadi salah satu kekayaan Sulawesi Tengah. Motif dan pola batik Bomba memiliki bentuk yang unik, dengan makna filosofis yang berlandaskan kehidupan masyarakat suku Kaili yang tersirat didalamnya. Namun pemahaman tentang ragam motif batik Bomba belum dikenal luas oleh masyarakat Sulawesi Tengah khususnya Kota Palu. Hal ini disebabkan karena media informasi untuk visualisasi kain batik Bomba masih kurang, umumnya hanya berbentuk gambar 2D yang dapat ditemui di museum atau pameran seni. Dari permasalahan tersebut, penulis bertujuan untuk memberikan informasi kepada masyarakat lokal maupun masyarakat luar mengenai filosofi motif batik Bomba secara detail dan mudah dipahami dengan memanfaatkan media teknologi Augmented Reality menggunakan metode markerless yang menampilkan objek 3D batik Bomba. Dalam pengembangan aplikasi, penulis menggunakan metode agile Extreme Programming (XP) yang akan diimplementasikan kedalam aplikasi berbasis android. Diperoleh hasil analisis pengujian menggunakan metode Blackbox Testing yang dilakukan oleh develop, dan User Acceptance Testing (UAT) melalui kuesioner yang dibagikan kepada pengguna aplikasi, bahwa aplikasi yang dikembangkan berjalan sesuai dengan fungsionalitasnya dan memperoleh skor rata-rata 107,25 (Sangat Memuaskan). Dengan demikian, aplikasi AR About Bomba dapat menjadi mediator pengenalan filosofi setiap motif batik Bomba.

Abstract

Schistosomiasis caused by the Schistosoma japonicum worm is a significant health problem in Indonesia, especially in endemic areas such as the Napu Plateau and Bada Plateau. The main problem in controlling this disease is the difficulty in rapid and accurate identification of Oncomelania hupensis lindoensis snails as intermediate hosts of the parasite. This research aims to develop an artificial intelligence-based system that can efficiently identify the snail species. The stages of this research include collecting snail image data from the Central Sulawesi Provincial Health Office, consisting of 2100 images covering seven snail species, then processed through preprocessing and augmentation stages. The model applied was EfficientNet-B0. The results showed that the EfficientNet-B0 model achieved 98.80% training accuracy and 98.33% validation accuracy. Confusion matrix testing showed good performance, with an accuracy of 98% and for the species Oncomelania hupensis lindoensis had a recall of 93%, precision of 100%, F1-score of 97%, and the resulting AUC value of 99.7%. This research successfully developed an efficient identification system, which is expected to help health surveillance personnel in accelerating the identification process of schistosomiasis intermediate hosts.
