Abstract

The tourism sector in this era of globalization has made many changes and has experienced rapid development. This is all aimed at increasing the quality and quantity of the destination. Therefore, it is necessary for the tourism sector to implement an ecotourism system for tourism objects that are owned to be responsible for the preservation of unspoiled areas, provide economic benefits and maintain cultural integrity for the local community. This research is related to the development of the Blangsinga waterfall tourist area into an ecotourism area. Around the waterfall area there are many adequate places, but around the waterfall itself there are still many shortcomings in terms of supporting facilities and the absence of insightful activities. Methods This research was conducted qualitatively, with reference to the theory of ecotourism and sustainable tourism. In order to obtain comprehensive data. The focus of this research is on Blangsinga Waterfall, Saba Village, Blahbatuh District. Data collection is carried out through interviews and academic literature studies that are able to examine and dig deeper by taking into account the background, socialization patterns and implications for local communities and foreign tourists.

Abstract

This study aims to determine (1) the history of the establishment of Uluwatu Temple in Pecatu Village; (2) the development of Uluwatu Temple, as a tourism destination in Bali; and (3) the contribution of Uluwatu Temple to local tourism. This study uses a qualitative approach, namely: (1) research methods; (2) several determinations of research locations; (3) techniques for determining local residents' informants; (3) data collection techniques (interviews, document studies); (4) data analysis techniques. The results of this study indicate that there are two sources regarding Uluwatu Temple, namely written sources and oral sources. The development of Uluwatu Temple as a tourist attraction in Bali, Contributions of the existence of Uluwatu Temple for historical education include: (a) several studies of worship at Uluwatu temple, (b) Fostering students' love for historical / cultural heritage which is Balinese ancestral heritage, (c) Fostering historical awareness and cultural insight in students to participate in maintaining and preserving ancient / historical relics that are around us, (d) A visit to Uluwatu Temple can help to gain a deeper understanding of learning materials on campus related to local tourism materials

Abstract

This study aimed to the history of the village of Pecatu Uluwatu Temple development of Pura Uluwatu, Bali as a tourism destination, and contribution to the study of history Pura Uluwatu. This study used a qualitative approach, namely: study design, determining the location of research techniquesdetermination techniques, data collection techniques (observation, interviews, document studies), the validity of the data (triangulation triangulation of data or data sources and triangulation methods), and data analysis techniques. These results indicate that there are two sources of Pura Uluwatu on the written sources and oral sources. Uluwatu development as a tourist attraction in Bali, Pura Uluwatu Contribution existence for history education, among others: Pura Uluwatu save mandate contained in the story of the history of the existence of Uluwatu Temple itself, Cultivating a love of students or learners to legacy historical / cultural heritage into Bali, Raise awareness of historical and cultural insights on students to participate in maintaining and preserving archaeological heritage / history that is around us, A visit to Uluwatu Temple can help to gain understanding more explicit about the learning materials in schools relating to local history materials.

Abstract

This research discusses the use of bibliometric analysis in various research fields. This journal provides examples of studies conducted in the fields of sustainable tourism, climate change, halal tourism, cultural tourism, and digital marketing. This journal also explains the use of Google Scholar as a research data provider and VOS Viewer as a research tool for bibliometric analysis. The methods used in this research include determining keywords, conducting an initial search, refining search results, compiling statistical data, and analyzing data. The results and discussion sections present the research findings, including publication and citation analysis, visualization, author ownership, and network analysis. The table presents a data matrix comparison of the initial search results and the revised search results.

Abstract

Beauty and Spa pariwisata di perhotelan menawarkan berbagai layanan kecantikan dan perawatan tubuh yang dirancang untuk meningkatkan kesejahteraan dan relaksasi tamu. Fasilitas ini mencakup pijat, perawatan wajah, perawatan kulit, perawatan rambut, manikur dan pedikur, dan banyak lagi, Keberadaan Beauty and Spa di hotel menghadirkan manfaat yang signifikan bagi kedua pihak, yaitu tamu dan pemilik hotel. Bagi tamu, Beauty and Spa menyediakan sarana untuk melepaskan stres, meremajakan tubuh dan pikiran, serta meningkatkan kualitas hidup secara keseluruhan. Pemilihan layanan yang disesuaikan dengan kebutuhan individu dan keinginan tamu menjadi prioritas utama. Sementara itu, bagi pemilik hotel, secara ekonomi Beauty and Spa pariwisata mampu meningkatkan pendapatan dan daya tarik mereka terhadap tamu potensial. Fasilitas ini menjadi salah satu faktor penting yang mendorong tamu untuk memilih hotel tertentu sebagai tempat tinggal sementara saat bepergian.

Abstract

Wisata sejarah adalah suatu kegiatan wisata dikawasan bersejarah terutama menelusuri benda-benda hasil karya manusia pada masa lalu,Pariwisata berbasis Sejarah pariwisata merupakan salah satu aset yang memiliki potensi untuk dikembangkan. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mengidentifikasi historical tourism serta produk ilmiah lainnya dari waktu ke waktu, seperti: sumber, penulis dan jenis dokumen. Analisis bibliometri digunakan untuk menganalisis sampel dari 29 artikel dari google scholar yang diterbitkan antara tahun 2019 hingga 2023. Hstorical tourism merupakan kata kunci utama yang digunakan dalam judul artikel, abstrak, dan kata kunci untuk mendapatkan metadata yang diambil dari database bibliografi Google Scholar, pada Sabtu, 24 September 2022. Alat bantu yang digunakan dalam mengalisis bibliometric ini adalah Microsoft excel yang digunakan untuk melakukan analisis frekuensi, VoS viewer untuk visualisasi data dan Harzing's Publish or Perish digunakan untuk metrik kutipan dan analisis. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa mayoritas artikel terkait terbit di jurnal ilmiah, dibandingkan dengan yang lain. Artikel terkait yang terbit di jurnal ilmiah telah memperoleh sitasi tertinggi dibandingkan lainnya. Artikel juga banyak ditemukan menggunakan Bahasa Inggris. Berdasarkan network visualization dengan term paling dominan (sering muncul) adalah “historical based tourism”. Jika dilihat dari Overlay Visualization topik “historical tourism” menunjukkan tren terkini.

Abstract

Penelitian pariwisata culinary tourism berkembang dalam beberapa tahun. Namun, masih sedikit yang memberikan gambaran global tentang konsep tersebut. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mengidentifikasi tren pariwisata culinary tourism serta produk ilmiah lainnya dari waktu ke waktu, seperti: sumber, penulis dan jenis dokumen. Analisis bibliometri digunakan untuk menganalisis sampel dari 179 artikel dari google scholar yang diterbitkan tahun 2023. Culinary tourism merupakan kata kunci utama yang digunakan dalam judul artikel, abstrak, dan kata kunci untuk mendapatkan metadata yang diambil dari database bibliografi Google Scholar, pada Senin, 2 Oktober 2023. Alat bantu yang digunakan dalam mengalisis bibliometric ini adalah google sheets yang digunakan untuk melakukan analisis frekuensi, VoS viewer untuk visualisasi data dan Harzing's Publish or Perish digunakan untuk metrik kutipan dan analisis. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa mayoritas artikel terkait terbit di jurnal ilmiah, dibandingkan dengan yang lain. Abstract

The rapid development of information and communication technology has had a significant impact on various sectors, including the tourism industry. Digital marketing is becoming one of the important tools for the tourism industry to reach consumers and increase sales. This paper examines the use of digital marketing by Traveloka, a lifestyle superapp in Southeast Asia, in reaching consumers and improving services. SWOT analysis is used to identify strengths, weaknesses, opportunities, and threats faced by Traveloka in the context of digital marketing. The analysis results show that Traveloka has several strengths, including broad reach, precise targeting, two-way interaction, and engaging content. However, weaknesses such as fierce competition, ad saturation, reliance on technology, and fraud risk were also identified. Emerging opportunities include internet user growth, new technological developments, personalization, and influencer marketing. Meanwhile, threats include algorithm changes, stricter privacy policies, consumer mistrust, and the emergence of new platforms. Based on these findings, Traveloka can develop effective digital marketing strategies with a focus on long-term relationships with customers and multi-channel integration. Suggestions for improvement include periodic market research, development of an integrated digital marketing strategy, creation of engaging content, and utilization of influencer marketing. With these steps, Traveloka is expected to continue to be the leading travel platform in Southeast Asia.

Abstract

This study describes research on the effect of facility quality on visitor satisfaction and attractiveness in Taman Cempaka Cilangkap Cipayung, East Jakarta. This study adopts qualitative descriptive methods to examine various factors that affect the sustainability of this tourist destination. Through survey, direct observation, and SWOT analysis approaches, the study evaluated visitors' perceptions of the quality of facilities, such as play areas, sports fields, and picnic spots, as well as their relationship to their satisfaction levels. The results showed that the quality of facilities in Taman Cempaka had a positive impact on visitor satisfaction. Factors such as completeness, cleanliness, and condition of the facility received a positive assessment. However, there are some disadvantages to note, such as promotional limitations and lack of innovation in facilities. The recommended development strategy includes increased promotion through digital platforms, collaboration with related parties, and environmental education programs to strengthen the attractiveness of destinations. This research concludes that the management of Taman Cempaka needs to encourage innovation in facility development, as well as improve promotion and marketing strategies to increase the attractiveness and sustainability of the destination. This approach is expected to increase visitor satisfaction and support the long-term sustainability of this tourist destination.

Abstract

Augmented Reality (AR) has become an increasingly popular technology across various fields, including tourism. Ragunan Wildlife Park, a zoo in South Jakarta, Indonesia, has introduced an AR application to enhance the visitor experience. This research aims to analyze the use of Augmented Reality in public relations efforts to improve the tourist experience at Ragunan Wildlife Park. Using a descriptive qualitative approach, the study was conducted through on-site observation, in-depth interviews with visitors, and a review of related literature and documentation. Additionally, a SWOT analysis (Strengths, Weaknesses, Opportunities, Threats) was employed to evaluate the impact of AR usage. The study findings indicate that AR in the Ragunan Zoo application adds value by providing additional information about the zoo's fauna and facilities, facilitating online ticket purchases, and reducing wait times. However, AR also faces challenges such as the requirement for a stable internet connection and visitors' lack of familiarity with AR technology. Opportunities arise from the potential to strengthen digital relationships with visitors, while threats include data security risks and visitors' disinterest in using the app. The study concludes that AR has significant potential to enhance the visitor experience at Ragunan Wildlife Park. However, clear guidelines and educational efforts are needed to ensure visitors can easily access and use the application. With straightforward instructions and appropriate promotion, AR can be an effective tool to improve the visitor experience and strengthen the image of Ragunan Wildlife Park.
