Abstract

This research was conducted at PT XYZ, this research was conducted based on the phenomenon of high turnover intention in the company, which was 25.9%. Based on research by Widyantara, et al., (2015) showed that there was a negative and significant influence between organizational commitment and job satisfaction on turnover intention. Therefore, this study aims at analyzing the effect of organizational commitment and employee job satisfaction on the turnover intention at PT XYZ. The population in this study amounted to 85 respondents using a total sample where all respondents were sampled. The research method used is quantitative. Based on the results of the multiple regression test of organizational commitment, job satisfaction and turnover intention, there is a negative influence between organizational commitment on turnover intention and the value of Sig. 0.002 < 0.05, secondly there is a negative influence between job satisfaction and turnover intention with the value of Sig. 0.000 <0.05 Third, there is an influence between organizational commitment and job satisfaction on the turnover intention with the value of Sig. 0.000 < 0.05, the value of the coefficient of determination is 23.0%. Therefore, the higher the organizational commitment and job satisfaction of employees, the lower the level of turnover intention will be.

Abstract

Perilaku konsumtif adalah suatu fenomena yang banyak melanda mahasiswi saat ini. Salah satu faktor yang mempengaruhi perilaku konsumtif pada mahasiswi adalah citra diri. Dalam proses membentuk citra diri tentang gambaran mengenai dirinya mahasiswi terkadang merasa tidak puas atau kurang percaya diri terhadap penampilan mereka sehingga dalam perkembangannya mahasiswi mempunyai keinginan untuk memakai produk kosmetik dengan alasan ingin terlihat lebih menarik tidak dapat ditolak lagi sehingga dapat mendorong mahasiswi menjadi boros. Tujuan dari penelitian ini yaitu untuk mengetahui pengaruh citra diri terhadap perilaku konsumtif pembelian kosmetik pada mahasiswi di Karawang. Skala dalam penelitian kali ini yaitu skala citra diri yang berjumlah 20 aitem dan skala perilaku konsumtif berjumlah 26 aitem. Jenis penelitian yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah metode penelitian kuantitatif. Teknik dalam pengambilan sampel yang digunakan adalah non-probability sampling dengan teknik kuota sampling, sehingga 100 orang menjadi subjek penelitian. Hasil penelitian secara simultan nilai signifikansi 0,000 < 0,05, maka Ha diterima dan H0 ditolak, artinya ada pengaruh citra diri terhadap perilaku konsumtif pembelian kosmetik pada mahasiswi di Karawang. Besaran pengaruh citra diri terhadap perilaku konsumtif pembelian kosmetik pada mahasiswi di Karawang sebesar 67,7 % dan 32,3 % lainnya dipengaruhi oleh variabel lain. Consumptive behavior is a phenomenon that plagues many female students today. One of the factors that influence consumptive behavior in female students is selfimage. In the process of forming a self-image about a picture of themselves, female students sometimes feel dissatisfied or lack confidence in their appearance so that in its development female students have a desire to use cosmetic products with the reason that they want to look more attractive can not be rejected anymore so that it can encourage female students to be extravagant. The purpose of this study was to determine the effect of self-image on consumptive behavior in purchasing cosmetics on female students in Karawang. The scale in this study is the self-image scale, which consists of 20 items and the consumptive behavior scale, which consists of 26 items. The type of research used in this research is quantitative research methods. The sampling technique used is nonprobability sampling with quota sampling technique, so that 100 people become research subjects. The results of the study simultaneously had a significance value of 0.000 <0.05, then Ha was accepted and H0 was rejected, meaning that there was an influence of selfimage on consumptive behavior in purchasing cosmetics on female students in Karawang. The magnitude of the influence of self-image on the consumptive behavior of purchasing cosmetics on female students in Karawang is 67.7% and the other 32.3% is influenced by other variables.

Abstract

The success of students in completing lectures can be influenced by several factors, one of which is the persistence (grit) that each student has. The purpose of this study was to look at the factors that influence grit in psychology students at Buana Perjuangan University, Karawang. The research uses quantitative methods, data collection uses 4 scales, namely Grit using the short version of the adaptation scale from Angela Lee Duckworth, with aspects of namely consistency of interest (Passion) and persistence of effort (Perseverance), work life balance using the work life balance scale from Fisher, et al which has been adapted by Gunawan, et al. Psychological capital uses the Psychological Capital Questionnaire (PCQ) scale, from Avey, et al which measures 4 dimensions of psychological capital, namely self-efficacy, optimism, hope, and resilience, as well as the social support used in this study is The Multidimensional Scale of Perceived Social Support compiled by Zimet et al consists of 12 items that measure the source of aspects, namely family, friends, and special people. Data analysis used multiple linear regression calculations and the results obtained were work life balance, and psychological capital had a significant effect on grit, but social support had no effect on psychology students' gritKeywords: Work life balance, psychological capital, social support, grit Keberhasilan mahasiswa dalam menyelesaikan perkuliahan dapat dipengaruhi oleh beberapa faktor salah satunya adalah adanya kegigihan (grit) yang dimiliki setiap mahasiswa. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk melihat faktor-faktor yang mempengaruhi grit pada mahasiswa psikologi di Universitas Buana Perjuangan Karawang. Penelitian menggunakan metode kuantitatif, pengambilan data menggunakan 4 skala, yaitu Grit menggunakan skala adaptasi dari Angela Lee Duckworth versi pendek, dengan aspek dari yaitu konsistensi minat (Passion) dan ketekunan usaha (Perseverance), work life balance menggunakan skala work life balance dari Fisher, dkk yang telah diadaptasi oleh Gunawan, dkk. Psychological capital menggunakan skala Psychological Capital Questionnaire (PCQ), dari Avey, dkk yang mengukur 4 dimensi modal psikologis yaitu efikasi diri, optimisme, harapan, dan resiliensi, serta dukungan sosial yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah The Multidimentional Scale of Perceived Social Support yang disusun oleh Zimet dkk terdiri dari 12 items yang mengukur sumber aspeknya, yaitu keluarga, teman-teman, dan orang yang spesial. Analisis data menggunakan perhitungan regresi linier berganda dan hasil yang diperoleh adalah work life balance, dan psychological capital memiliki pengaruh signifikan terhadap grit, namun dukungan sosial tidak memiliki pengaruh terhadap grit mahasiswa psikologi. Abstract

In this digital era, people increasingly prefer to engage in easy activities, such as online shopping. Impulsive buying is a phenomenon that occurs unconsciously in daily life, both by men and women. The age group of 18-21 years old, particularly adolescents, tend to engage in impulsive buying more than other age groups. Therefore, this research aims to investigate the influence of conformity and positive emotions as predictors of consumer impulsive buying tendencies in online shopping in Karawang. The research method used in this study is an associative quantitative method. The research instruments include a 42-item conformity scale, a 38-item positive emotions scale, and a 23-item impulsive buying tendency scale. The population of this study is online shoppers aged 18-21 years old in Karawang. The sampling technique used is quota sampling with a sample size of 385 people. The data analysis technique used is multiple linear regression test using JASP 0.16 software. Based on the data analysis, the significance value obtained was < 0.001 or p < 0.05, indicating that conformity and positive emotions can influence the tendency of consumer impulsive buying in online shopping in Karawang as predictors. The influence contributed by conformity and positive emotions towards the tendency of consumer impulsive buying in online shopping in Karawang is 20.4%, while the remaining 79.6% is influenced by other variables outside the scope of this research.

Abstract

Companies involved in the construction sector also frequently encounter issues related to human resources (HR). Construction companies are industries engaged in the provision of facilities and infrastructure for the benefit of the community, subject to local government regulations. Construction projects have unique characteristics because their outcomes are not repetitive, they are temporary in nature, involve work accidents, are dominated by physical activity, and involve multiple elements of activity and parties involved in the implementation process. This creates a vulnerability to various obstacles. The purpose of this study is to look into the impact of work-life quality on employee engagement among construction workers in Karawang, with the work environment acting as a moderating factor. This study's data gathering method included the use of instruments in the form of employee engagement, quality of work life, and work environment measures. The hypothesis in this study was tested using Moderated Regression Analysis. The results of the analysis suggest a considerable positive association between the quality of work life and employee engagement among Karawang construction workers, with a correlation coefficient of rxy = 0.761 and a significant value of p = <0.001 (p<0.05). The moderation analysis results show that there is no connection between work life quality and work environment. This implies that the work environment is unable to operate as a mediator between work-life quality and employee engagement.

Abstract

Resilience is the individual's ability to choose to recover from sad and challenging life events by increasing their knowledge to be adaptive and overcome similar adverse situations in the future. In early adulthood, many individuals experience a condition called quarter-life crisis, where they feel a sense of worry caused by uncertainty about their future life. Therefore, resilience is needed to face the existing challenges, in order to be able to adapt and protect individuals from the rigors of stress. Resilience arises as a protective factor that is distinguished internally and externally. Externally, resilience is related to attachment, which is a continuous affective bond characterized by a tendency to seek and maintain closeness to specific figures, especially when under pressure. Therefore, the purpose of this research is to determine the influence of self-esteem and attachment as predictors of resilience in young adults who are experiencing quarter-life crisis simultaneously. The method in this research is quantitative, with a sample of early adults experiencing quarter-life crisis, thus the sampling technique used in this research is incidental sampling. The data collection technique used a questionnaire with a resilience scale, the standardized Rosenberg Self-Esteem Scale (RSES), and the attachment scale using the Experiences in Close Relationship-Revised-General Short Form (ECR-R-GSF) scale, Additionally, the Developmental Crisis Questionnaire (DQC-12) scale was used to measure quarter-life crisis in early adults. The data analysis technique used in this research is multiple regression analysis. From the research results using SPSS version 27, a significant value was obtained for both independent variables of 0.000 < 0.005, therefore Ha is accepted and H0 is rejected, indicating that self-esteem and attachment together are predictors of resilience in early adults experiencing quarter-life crisis.

Abstract

The purpose of this research is to analyze the effect of Work Engagement on organizational commitment. This study uses a quantitative approach method. The population used in this study were employees of PT. Daesang Food Indonesia. Scale were distributed offline and data were analyzed using a simple regression test using SPSS 25. The number of respondents used in the study were 94 employees. The results of the study prove that there is a 10.1% effect of Work Engagement on organizational commitment at PT. Daesang Food Indonesia.

Abstract

Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui pengaruh self-efficacy terhadap self regulated learning pada siswa kelas X di SMAN 4 Karawang. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode kuantitatif dengan alat pengumpulan data berupa skala self-efficacy dan skala self regulated learning. Teknik pengambilan sampel dalam penelitian ini menggunakan teknik non-probability sampling dalam bentuk convenience sampling dengan perhitungan menggunakan tabel Isaac dan Michael taraf 5%, sehingga dari 359 populasi yang terdiri dari siswa kelas X terdapat 177 siswa yang menjadi subjek penelitian. Berdasarkan hasil uji hipotesis (regresi linear sederhana) diperoleh nilai signifikansi sebesar 0,000 < 0,05 yang artinya Ha diterima dan H0 ditolak dengan nilai R square sebesar 0,155, yaitu ada pengaruh self-efficacy terhadap self regulated learning pada siswa kelas X di SMAN 4 Karawang sebesar 15,5%. The purpose of this study was to determine the effect of self-efficacy on self regulated learning in class X students at SMAN 4 Karawang. This study uses a quantitative method with data collection tools in the form of self-efficacy scales and self regulated learning scales. The sampling technique in this study used a non-probability sampling technique in the form of convenience sampling with calculations using the Isaac and Michael tables at a level of 5%, so that out of 359 population consisting of class X students, there were 177 students who were the research subjects. Based on the results of the hypothesis test (simple linear regression) a significance value of 0,000 < 0,05 is obtained, which means that Ha is accepted and H0 is rejected with an R square value of 0,155, there is an effect of self-efficacy on self regulated learning in class X students at SMAN 4 Karawang of 15,5%.

Abstract

Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk menganalisa pengaruh kepuasan kerja terhadap komitmen organisasi. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode pendekatan kuantitatif. Dengan Populasi yang digunakan dalam penelitian adalah karyawan produksi pada PT.X di Karawang. Skala penelitian disebar secara online melalui google form dan data yang diperoleh dianalisis dengan cara uji regresi sederhana menggunakan SPSS 26. Jumlah responden yang digunakan dalam penelitian adalah 120 karyawan produksi pada divisi assembling. Hasil pada uji regresi sederhana pada penelitian ini adalah adalah 0,000 < 0,005, sehingga dapat dikatakan bahwa hipotesis dalam penelitian ini yaitu Hα diterima dan H0 ditolak, sehingga dapat disimpulkan terdapat pengaruh kepuasan kerja terhadap komitmen organisasi. Pada hasil uji koefisien determinasi menghasilkan nilai R Square sebesar 0,358 (35,8%) yang menunjukan bahwa besarnya pengaruh kepuasan kerja terhadap komitmen organisasi adalah sebesar 35,8% sehingga sisanya yaitu 64,2% dipengaruhi oleh faktor atau variabel lain. The results of the simple regression test in this study were 0.000 <0.005, so it can be said that the hypothesis in this study, namely Hα was accepted and H0 was rejected, so it can be concluded that there is an effect of job satisfaction on organizational commitment. The test results for the coefficient of determination produce an R Square value of 0.358 (35.8%) which indicates that how big the effect of job satisfaction on organizational commitment is 35.8% so that the remaining 64.2% is influenced by other factors or variables.

Abstract

This article aims to analyze how the conflict between the local government and the community in illegal gold mining activities in Hutabargot Nauli village, Hutabargot district, Mandailing Natal district, namely what caused the conflict, what caused the conflict to persist, and why until now the local government has not been able to close it. This research is a research using literature study method or literature review. The results of this paper indicate that the closure of illegal gold mining activities in the village of Hutabarkot Nauli cannot be carried out by the local government because the community will continue to reject the appeal from the local government and conflicts that occur between the local government and the community will not have a solution to resolve it.
