Abstract

Village funds are a major focus of development and community empowerment at the local level in many developing countries. The importance of accountable village fund management is crucial as it has a direct impact on improving welfare and development at the rural level. Accountability in village fund management includes transparency, accountability, and active involvement of communities in decision-making processes related to budgets and development projects. Without strong accountability, the risk of misuse of village funds increases, resulting in waste, inappropriate use, and even corruption to the detriment of local communities. Through effective accountability mechanisms, such as transparent financial reporting and independent audits, the government and communities can ensure that village funds are used efficiently and in accordance with real needs at the village level. Accountability also plays an important role in increasing community participation in the village development process, by giving them greater access to information and enabling them to provide input and oversight on the use of village funds. The success of development programs at the village level is highly dependent on the level of accountability of village fund management. The importance of accountability in the management of village funds is also closely linked to the achievement of sustainable development goals (SDGs), particularly in addressing poverty, improving access to basic services such as education and health, and ensuring sustainable environmental protection. Countries and international donor agencies are also increasingly emphasizing the importance of accountability in the management of village funds as a condition for supporting sustainable local development. While challenges in implementing accountability in village fund management may exist, such as a lack of administrative capacity and weak oversight, steps can be taken to strengthen accountability systems, including training for village officials and the development of effective community oversight mechanisms.

Abstract

Purpose: This study examines how organizational commitment mediates the relationship between work attitude and workload and their combined impact on employee performance at the Secretariat of the Legislative Council in Musirawas District, South Sumatra, Indonesia. Methodology: A quantitative, correlational design was employed, with SEM-PLS analysis on data from 130 respondents selected via purposive sampling. Results: Work attitude significantly affects employee performance, with optimal work supported by promotions. Workload, when directed with efficient time use, positively impacts performance. Both work attitude and workload together significantly influence employee performance. Organizational commitment mediates these relationships. Findings: Organizational commitment, through promotions and leader appreciation, amplifies the impact of work attitude and workload on performance. Originality: The study highlights how optimal work attitudes supported by organizational commitment enhance employee capabilities, providing an innovative perspective on performance improvement. Novelty: It focuses on the unexplored link between work attitudes and organizational commitment. Conclusion: Organizational commitment acts as a critical mediator, suggesting that performance can be optimized by fostering a culture of appreciation and timely workload management. Abstract

The Village Government of Talang Donok, Bang Haji District, Central Bengkulu Regency, still relies on a manual system, where residents must come directly to the village office to process document submissions. The implementation of digital technology to support more efficient correspondence distribution will improve the quality of public services. By using a digital system, residents no longer need to visit the village office to fill out personal data or submit requests. The socialization efforts are very useful for the residents of Talang Donok Village in understanding how to fill out the Google Form that has been provided by the village officials. The use of online administration makes it easier for residents to submit required documents anytime and anywhere. The community has responded positively to the use of online technology for document submission. Updates to the Google Sheet allow for adjustments to document numbers according to the most recent data. It is expected that after the socialization, the community's enthusiasm for the online administrative system will increase. The use of an online system in public services provides convenience, flexibility, and enhances the community's understanding of the technology applied in village administration.

Abstract

Pelatihan pemasaran menggunakan media sosial merupakan solusi efektif dalam memasarkan produk di masa pandemi Covid-19. Metode ini sejalan dengan protokol kesehatan yang dianjurkan pemerintah, karena dapat mengurangi aktivitas di luar rumah serta meminimalkan kontak fisik dengan masyarakat lain. Media sosial memungkinkan bisnis menjangkau target pasar yang selama pandemi lebih banyak beraktivitas di rumah dan enggan keluar, termasuk untuk membeli produk secara langsung. Dengan penerapan strategi pemasaran digital ini, penjualan Kue Mak Indah dapat meningkat secara bertahap.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the factors that affect employee performance at the Regional Financial and Asset Management Agency, Musi Rawas Regency, South Sumatra. This research is a quantitative study with a total population of 60 respondents. The results of the analysis show that the variables of Competence, Leadership and Motivation simultaneously have a positive and significant effect on performance. Moreover, Competence (X1) Leadership (X2) and Motivation (X3) partially have a positive and significant effect on employee performance (Y). However, the Leadership variable has a very dominant influence on performance. It is recommended that the performance of employees at the Regional Financial and Asset Management Agency of Musi Rawas Regency to be improved. The role of leadership can also be used as a benchmark for the success of a team’s work in public services, delegation of authority and supervision. It is also recommended that the leader’s task evaluation be carried out periodically. In addition, efforts to improve employee competence are a strategic step in increasing employee motivation.

Abstract

This research will discuss how the implementation and effectiveness of billboards for presidential and vice presidential candidates in the 2024 election contestation, case study of Bengkulu Province. In this research, qualitative descriptive research was used. Meanwhile, the data collection technique was to use documentation studies. The main focus of this research is the extent of implementation and effectiveness of billboards for presidential and vice presidential candidates in the 2024 election contestation in the case study of Bengkulu Province. Based on this research, research results were obtained which showed that the implementation and effectiveness of billboards for presidential and vice presidential candidates in the 2024 election contestation, case study of Bengkulu Province, that the three 2024 presidential and vice presidential candidate pairs equally won the hearts of the people, as proven by the election contestation through billboard media, the public could recognize and knowing the vision and mission as well as their chosen presidential and vice presidential candidates with the vote count results from the special KPU presidential election survey for Bengkulu Province, the Anies-Muhaimin pair got 19.69% of the votes, the Prabowo-Gibran pair got 69.56% of the votes and while the Ganjar-Mahfud pair got 10, 75% of the vote, and this really gives a positive image in the hearts of the public.

Abstract

The purpose of this research was to determine the effect of compensation and competence on performance with motivation as a variable intervening an employee. The research has been conducted for 6 months, namely June to December 2019 at the Central Bureau of Statistics of Kota Lubuklinggau, South Sumatra Province, Indonesia. The population in this research were 133 respondents. This research is explanatory research using primary data and secondary data. Primary data collection methods use interview techniques and questionnaires, in addition to conducting field observations. Secondary data were collected using documentation techniques. The data analysis uses the statistical analysis of the Structural Equation Model (SEM) based on predetermined hypotheses including compensation, competence, and motivation which partially or jointly affect the performance of partners at the Central Bureau of Statistics Office in Kota Lubuklinggau. The results showed that the aspects of compensation and competence at the Office of the Central Bureau of Statistics in Kota Lubuklinggau have not been fulfilled optimally. Partially, there is a positive and significant relationship between compensation toward motivation, competence toward performance, compensation and competence toward performance, but there is no positive and significant effect between compensation toward performance, motivation toward performance, as well as compensation-competence-motivation together toward performance, and there is also a positive but not significant influence between competence toward motivation. The results of this research indicate that there needs to be an improvement in competence and compensation from the Office of the Central Bureau of Statistics of Kota Lubuklinggau to its partners.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis kualitas layanan Sekretariat DPRD Kabupaten Sarolangun dalam membantu pelaksanaan administrasi fungsi anggota dewan perwakilan rakyat daerah Kabupaten Sarolangun, dengan analisis SWOT. Pengumpulan data di lakukan dengan menggunakan metode wawancara, observasi, dan studi dokumentasi. Hasil Analisa menunjukkan posisi Sekretariat DPRD Kabupaten Sarolangun berada di kuadra I diagram caresius, artinya posisi mantap dalam pengembangan kinerjanya hasil analisis pada matrik SWOT di peroleh dalam menerapkan strategi pelayanan terhadap Anggota Dewan Perwakilan Rakyat Daerah meliputi, memanfaatkan teknologi informasi secara tepat dan benar, memaksimalkan pengelolaan angaran, penyediakan sarana dan prasarana perlengakapan kerja, melaksanakan pola karir sesuai dengan kebutuhan dan meningkatkan kerjsama baik internal organisasi mapun kepada ekternal organisasi terkait tugas pokok dan fungsi Sekretariat DPRD Kabupaten Sarolangun.

Abstract

Kinerja Pemerintahan Daerah yang dihasilkan setiap Organisasi Perangkat Daerah (OPD) berbeda-beda, tergantung bagaimana OPD tersebut mengelola Penyelengaraan Pemerintahan di Organisasinya, kinerja tersebut pada umumnya dinilai oleh Masyarakat sebagai pengguna layanan. Tujuan penelitian ini mengkaji kinerja layanan pada Dinas Kependudukan dan Pencatatan sipil Kota Lubuklinggau, yang dipengaruhi oleh sumber daya manusia, dengan variable yang mempengaruhi; variabel Kompetensi, Komitmen, dan variable Motivasi dengan metode exsplanatory research atau confirmotory research, dan teknis analisis menggunakan Statistical service social (SPSS) 22,0 dengan populasi 59 responden unsur masyarakat pengguna layanan perizinan di Kabupaten Musirawas. Hasil Penelitian menunjukan bahwa secara parsial ketiga variabel di atas hanya variabel Komtmen berpengaruh terhadap kinerja, namun secara simultan ketiga variabel tersebut mempengaruhi kinerja dan variabel Komitmen mempunyai pengaruh yang paling dominan, implikasi manajemennya peran komitmen sumber daya manusia sebagai pelaksana penyelengara Pemerintahan di Daerah, menjadi tolok ukur dalam mewujudkan pelayanan prima di Dinas DUKCAPIL Koata Lubuklinggau.
