Abstract

The decline in employee performance is evident in the failure to achieve established work targets. Over the past two years, the company has undergone changes to its organizational structure and systems. This study aims to examine the influence of organizational structure, leadership, and the work environment on employee performance at Persada Indonesia. The study used a quantitative approach with a saturated sampling technique involving all 50 employees as respondents. Data were collected through questionnaires, then analyzed using the Partial Least Squares (PLS) method. The results show that organizational structure, leadership, and the work environment have a positive and significant influence on employee performance. These findings confirm that targeted change management, communicative leadership, and a conducive work environment are important factors in efforts to improve employee performance.

Abstract

Novice investors tend to rely on trends and informal recommendations when making stock investment decisions, which motivated this community service activity. The purpose of this activity was to improve novice investors’ understanding of how to apply fundamental stock analysis in making long-term investment decisions. Experiential-based training, also known as experiential learning, was implemented through material delivery, interactive discussions, and assignments involving simple analysis of company financial statements. The evaluation process was conducted through observation, reflective discussions, and assessment of participants’ task results. The results show that most participants gained a better understanding of basic capital market concepts, key financial ratios, and how to perform initial financial statement analysis. This activity also encouraged participants to change their way of thinking and adopt more data-driven and rational investment behavior. These results indicate that novice investors require fundamental analysis training to develop a long-term investment perspective.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the influence of digital promotion and lifestyle on impulse buying, as well as to test the role of financial literacy as a moderating variable in the millennial generation of Tokopedia PayLater users in Surabaya City. The research method uses a quantitative approach , with a problem-solving approach and data collection techniques using cluster techniques. Data analysis was carried out using SMARTPLS 4.0, due to the infinite population, so the researcher used the Lemeshow formula (1997) to determine a sample of 165 respondents with an infinite population of Tokopedia PayLater users. The results of the study indicate that digital promotion and lifestyle have a significant positive effect on impulse buying. Financial literacy is also proven to influence impulse buying and plays a moderating role in the relationship between digital promotion and lifestyle on impulse buying, although with varying moderating strengths. These findings indicate that financial literacy plays an important role in controlling impulsive buying behavior amidst the intense digital promotion and consumptive lifestyle of the millennial generation. This study is expected to be a reference for e-commerce platforms, policy makers, and users in improving wiser consumption behavior in the digital era.

Abstract

Finding an harmonious balance between work and personal life is a challenge for company management but also a competitive potential. This study investigates the effects of work-family conflict on work-life balance is mediated by work stress as an intervening variable in permanent and married female employees at BRI Kuta Branch. Conducted with a quantitative approach, this study involved 51 respondents using saturation sampling to determine the sample. The data in this research was gathered by a questionnaire and examined using  SEM-PLS method with the assistance of Smart-PLS software. The findings proved that there is a negative and significant effect of work-family conflict on work-life balance. Furthermore, Work stress is able to mediate work-family conflicts that have a negative and significant effect on work-life balance of female employees of PT Bank Rakyat Indonesia (BRI) Kuta Branch.

Abstract

Purpose –  The increasingly competitive world of work requires organizations to have dynamic and sustainable human resources. The population and sample of this study consisted of all 50 outsourced employees in the production division of PT XYZ. The results revealed that workload has a negative and significant effect on employee job satisfaction, whereas work discipline has a positive and significant effect on job satisfaction. These findings highlight that maintaining a balance in workload and consistently applying discipline are crucial factors in maximizing employee job satisfaction. Design/methodology/approach – This study used a quantitative approach to examine the effects of workload and work discipline on the job satisfaction of 50 outsourced employees in the production division of PT XYZ. Total sampling was applied, and data were collected through questionnaires, interviews, and literature review. The data were analyzed using Partial Least Squares (PLS) to assess the validity, reliability, and significance of relationships between variables. This approach provides insights into the impact of workload and work discipline on employee job satisfaction and offers practical implications for human resource management. Originality - This study is original in examining the combined effects of workload and work discipline on the job satisfaction of outsourced employees at PT XYZ, providing practical insights for human resource management. Findings and Discussion – The findings of this study reveal that workload negatively affects the job satisfaction of outsourced employees at PT XYZ, particularly when excessive time demands lead to fatigue and stress. In contrast, work discipline positively influences job satisfaction, as higher compliance with rules and procedures enhances employees’ sense of responsibility, motivation, and engagement. The discussion emphasizes that balancing workload and promoting consistent work discipline are essential for creating a productive, orderly, and supportive work environment. These results provide practical implications for human resource management, highlighting the need for effective task distribution, realistic scheduling, and supervisory oversight to optimize employee satisfaction and performance. Conclusion –  In conclusion, workload negatively affects job satisfaction, while work discipline has a positive impact. Balancing workload and promoting consistent discipline are essential for enhancing employee satisfaction, motivation, and overall performance.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze how the work environment affects the performance of female employees, both directly and indirectly through work stress as a mediating variable, in the yarn production division at PT Scandinavian Tobacco Group Indonesia. This study uses a quantitative approach with the Partial Least Squares–Structural Equation Modeling (PLS-SEM) technique. The research population consisted of 554 female employees, with a total of 233 respondents selected through an online questionnaire distributed via Google Form. The study’s results indicate that the work environment has a significant positive impact on employee performance, and that the this impact is mediated by work stress, which positively influences performance. These results highlight that a supportive and comfortable work environment can help reduce stress levels and increase employee productivity in completing their tasks efficiently and on time.
