Abstract

Problems in this research is how to improve student achievement through cooperative learning method of Student Teams-Achievement Divisions (STAD) type in XI IPS3 students in SMA Negeri 5? The purpose of this study is To improve student learning achievement through STAD model on the students of class X in SMA Negeri 5 Palu year 2016/2017 lesson. In addition, it is expected that history teachers can use STAD learning model as one of alternative choice in learning history. The use of learning models that have a cooperative element so that the results of learning can evenly the results. Historical teachers should always give a positive attitude or appreciation to each student activity on the learning process of history, because it can trigger students to always learn hard. This research belongs to a classroom action research. Research location in SMA Negeri 5 Palu. Data collection techniques in this study using several techniques that are (1) observation, (2) documentation, (3)end test cycle. The analysis is done by analyzing the mean of class value, the learning completeness classically, the result of student activity observation, and the result of questionnaire about students. The results of this study indicate that the use of STAD type cooperative learning model can improve student learning activities better in students and teachers as well as improve student achievement and learning outcomes class XI IPS 3 SMA Negeri 5 Palu. Student learning outcomes before the application of STAD learning model obtained the average value of class 63.67 with the percentage of classical completeness of 43.33%. In cycle I after held a class action research with the application of STAD learning model obtained an average value of 65 with 50% complete percentage of mastery. In the first cycle, the average grade and completeness of classical learning has increased, but it has not reached the success indicator. Next cycle II and obtained data that is the average grade of 81.67 with classical completeness reached 86.67%. In the second cycle there is an increase and already meet the success indicator of 80% classical learning completeness.

Abstract

This study aims to find out and analyze (1) aspects of national character and nationalist spirit formation in a teapot music art studio in Palu 15 Junior High School, and (2) efforts made by the tumbling music art studio SMPN 15 Palu in shaping character the spirit of nationalism and love for the country. This type of research is a descriptive study with a qualitative approach obtained from observations, interviews and in-depth interviews with the results of the study illustrating that there are several aspects of character building in the spirit of nationalism and love for the country which have been carried out at the Palu Palu State Middle School introduction, application, repetition / habituation and internalization into character. The efforts that have been made are to familiarize students in collaborating with peer groups despite different ethnicity, ethnicity, and social status in resolving a problem, involving students in organizing the commemoration of national heroes' day through a teapot music art studio SMPN 15 Palu, conducting a visiting program place of history or learn about the history of traditional music in the city of Palu, involving students in celebrations on national holidays, habituation to the use of domestically-made products (traditional musical instruments), habituation of the use of good and correct Indonesian language when joined in a troupe of music art music in SMPN 15 Palu, providing information from printing sources and electronics about the richness of Indonesian nature and culture "traditional music arts"

Abstract

This article problem: 1). What is the form of community struggle to build Pasangkayu into a Regency? 2). How is the social condition of the community after the formation of Pasangkayu district? 3) How is the development of the community after changing the name of North Mamuju to Pasangkayu district? The objectives of this article are: 1). Describe the form of community struggle in building Pasangkayu into a district and 2). Describe the condition of the community after the formation of Pasangkayu district and 3). Describes the development of society after changing the name of North Mamuju district to Pasangkayu. This research method uses historical research methods, namely 1. Heuristics (data collection). 2. Source criticism is divided into two types, namely external and internal criticism. 3. Interpretation (data analysis) of various information that has been obtained from various sources. 4. Historiography is intended to write historical events in the form of scientific works by using language and descriptive explanations. The results showed that the formation of North Mamuju Regency was based on factors of natural resources and the inability of the community to see the services of Mamuju Regional Government which were favoritism in nature. Finally, a movement initiated by the people of Sarudu Village was carried out, so a forum called KAPKP (Action Committee for the Establishment of Pasangkayu District) was formed to fight for these ideals. The climax of the struggle, on July 4, 2002, was declared its division with North Luwu district.
