Abstract

The purpose of research is to examine the relationship between the leadership of managers with employee satisfaction in SofyanInn Hotel Rangkayo Basa Padang. This research is a correlational study involving two variables, namely on the leadership of managers and employee satisfaction. Population of this research are about 32 people that all employees except the manager. The sampling technique is non-probability sampling, by using saturated sampling, data collection technique is done by distributing questionnaires (questionnaire) as many as 52 items using the Likert scale that has been tested for validity and reliability. These results indicate that the majority of employees (68.7%) satisfaction of employees workingand (70 %) for leadership of the manager shows theunfavorable category.The results also indicate that the presence of a positive and significant relationship between the variables X and Y with value corelation (r) of 0,634.

Abstract

This research is aims to describe the development strategy of the facilities attraction  at Pasir Jambak Beach Padang using a SWOT analysis in terms of internal factors including: the strength of tourist facilities and the weakness of tourist facilities , while the external factors include : opportunities in developing tourist facilities and the threat in developing tourist facilities. This type of research is descriptive qualitative. Techniques of collecting data are using interviews, observation, and documentation. The results of this research stated that: 1). The strength of the attraction at Pasir Jambak beach is already available in part of infrastructure and facilities like electricity, water, telecommunication networks (mobile phone signal), stage entertainment, prayer rooms, and toilets, lodging, gazebo, and a parking lot. 2). The weakness is the lack of assistance from the government in developing an attraction, a lack of public awareness in the maintenance of tourist facilities, the condition of the entrance to the tourism site is still broken , there is no health infrastructure, no security posts and public transport to tourism site, and there are no restaurants, no souvenir shops and no game facilities. 3). Opportunity that Pasir Jambak beach had to complete the facilities are  tourist area that is wide enough and there are still many vacant land, sea waves are well suited to water sports, and existing investors. 4). Threats in developing facilities attraction at Pasir Jambak  Beach is there are no support from the surrounding sociality in the existence of tourist facilities, lack of human resources that are competent in managing tourist facilities.  The strategy for the development of facilities Pasir Jambak Beach attraction that can be done are: Expanding the sale network. The government may allocate funds for the procurement and maintenance of tourist facilities. Cooperating with the local music industry to bring entertainment. Repairing the road infrastructure. Government agencies embrace local communities through tourism awareness by education briefing.   Kata Kunci: Strategi, Pengembangan, Fasilitas Wisata, Analisis SWOT

Abstract

This research is motivated by the procurement needs of rooms are less well seen from the specifications for goods less detail, the lack of transparency in the procurement of goods made by the purchasing, then the lack of effective procurement of goods made by the purchasing. This study aimed to describe the principle of the supply of goods, namely: effective, efficient, and openness in HW Padang. This research is a descriptive study with qualitative data. Data was collected using interviews, observation and documentation. The sampling technique used was purposive sampling consisting of Housekeeping department manager as much as 2 people and implementing the procurement needs of rooms 2 people. Based on the results of a study of the department head, user housekeeping, purchasing and cost control found some aspects related to the procurement needs of rooms are: Efficient procurement needs of rooms departmental housekeeping were still not optimally in terms of working methods, there are some tasks where yet in accordance with existing rules, especially in the procurement of goods. Then with regard to effective procurement department needs housekeeping room which is in conformity with existing rules. Then openness in the procurement department needs housekeeping room which is still not good, especially in the Bid made by purchasing the supplier.Key words : Procurement , efficient , effective , openness1Prodi D4

Abstract

This research aims to determine the relationship between the marketing mix with purchasing decisions in Rocky Plaza Hotel Padang. Type of this research is correlational. The population in this research are all peoples who are and have been and use the facilities at Rocky Plaza Hotel Padang, amounting to 6583 people. The sampling technique in this research is incidental sampling by 99 guests. The data collection techniques with indirect communication by distributing a questionnaire using Likert scale and have been tested for validity and reliability. The results of this research showed that there is a positive relationship (strong) and significant correlation between the marketing mix with purchasing decisions which are judged by a guest at Rocky Plaza Hotel Padang with r scale 0.819 are at r table> 0,75- 0,99 and at the level of 0.000 Sig. This means that the better the marketing mix implemented, the better the purchasing decisions in Rocky Plaza Hotel Padang, vice versa.

Abstract

This purpose of research is to describe job satisfaction of employees in Grand Rocky Hotel Bukittinggi. This research consists of five indicators of job satisfaction are: payroll, the work itself, promotion, supervision, and relationships with co-workers. This type of research is quantitative descriptive, the population in this research are 114 people’s. Sampling technique is proportional sampling. Sample number in this research amounted for 54 people’s. Data collection using a questionnaire based on a Likert scale that has been tested for validity and reliability. Furthermore, the data were analyzed by categorization rating based on the average scores and percentage assessment. Results of this research concluded that overall job satisfaction of employees in the Grand Rocky Hotel Bukittinggi is classified in the category very well with the average value of 173,5 in the range scores of ≥172 and interpretation percentage 56 %. Abstract

This research aims to determine the stisfaction of visitor to the Harau Valley Tourism object of Limapuluh Kota which are measure by five indicators of visitor satisfaction (1) the expectation of the visitor, (2) the fulfillment of the needs of the visitor desire, (3) the desire to use the product again, (4) and the desire to recommend the service to others. The type of this research is descriptive quantitative with population is all visitor who are visiting the Harau Valley Tourism Limapuluh Kota with an average number of visitors per month as many as 21.666 people. Sampling technique in this research is puposive sampling counted 100 people. Data collection technique is done by spreading the questuinnaire using Likert scale and has been tested the validity and reliability. The result showed that overall satisfaction of visitors to Harau Vellay Tourism District Limapuluh Kota are to categorized as quite agree by 60%, and 39% with the interpretation states less agree and 1% states disagree.Keywords: visitor satisfaction, Harau Valley of Limapuluh Kota Regency

Abstract

This study is aimed tof the determine the effect of Interpersonal Communication towards Employee Productivity Grand Rocky Hotel Bukittinggi. The research type is using associative causal correlation approach. The population of this study were permanent employees of the Grand Rocky Hotel Bukittinggi with amounted of114people. Selection of the sample using proportionate stratified random sampling technique (54). Collecting data using a questionnaire based on Likert Scale which has been tested for validity and reliability. The results showed that in general, the interpersonal communication was classified as good category and the labor productivity was classified as passbly. Based on regression analysis the study had found influence siginifikansi between interpersonal communication with labo rproductivity by 23%. Keywords: Communication, Interpersonal, Productivity, Work

Abstract

The purpose of this research is to determine the influence of tourism facilities towards visitors satisfaction at tourism object Ngalau Indah Payakumbuh. The type of research is associative causal. With the a purposive sampling as much 97 people. Data collection using question based on likert scale that has been tested for its validity and reliability. The result of this research were: (1) Tourism facility located on a enough (63.9%), (2) Visitor satisfaction is in the category less satisfied (86.6%), (3) the result for simple linear regression are on the 0.039 <0.05, then the variable of tourism facilities have a significant effect on the visitors satisfaction. Research show the R Square of 0.044. Which means that tourist facilities affected visitor satisfaction of 4.41%. While 95,59% were affected by other factors.Keywords: Tourist Facilities and Visitor Satisfaction

Abstract

The purpose of this research is to determine the quality of room attendantservice at Rocky Plaza Hotel in terms of 5 indicators of service quality, namely:reliability, responsiveness, assurance, empathy and tangibles . The method whichwas used in this research was descriptive quantitative. The population of thisstudy was guests staying at the Rocky Plaza Hotel Padang, with an averagenumber of guests as many as 5001 people. Sampling technique in this research ispurposive sampling counted 98 guests. The data were collected through aquestionnaire using likert scale which validity and reliability have been tested.The result of the research demonstrates that overall service quality at Hotel RockyPlaza Padang was classified as a good category with the visitor percentageof 54%.While for each indicator are: 1) tangibles as much as 54% of respondents statedgood, 2) empathy as much as 59% respondent stated enough, 3) reliability 48% ofrespondents stated enough, 4) Responsiveness as many as 49% of respondentsstated enough, 5) assurance as much as 50% of respondents stated good.

Abstract

This study aims to determine employee perceptions about workplace conflict in SofyanInn Hotel Rangkayo Basa Padang, which includes three indicators of labor conflict, namely: emotion (emotion), values (values) and interest (interest). This type of research is descriptive quantitative research. The study population was the employees SofyanInn Hotel Rangkayo Basa Padang except manager. Employees SofyanInn Hotel Rangkayo Basa Padang totaled 27 permanent employees and 5 daily worker, so that the total population of 32 people. The sampling technique in this research is non probability sampling is saturated sampling a total of 32 employees. The data collection techniques with indirect communication by distributing a questionnaire (questionnaire) in the form of Likert scale that has been tested for validity and reliability. The results showed that the general perception of a conflict of employees working in SofyanInn Hotel Rangkayo Basa Padang belong to the category of poorly with the average value of 115.44 which was in the range 88,1≤X <117.3. While based on individual indicators, namely: 1) Emotion (emotion) employees SofyanInn Hotel Rangkayo Basa Padang belong to the category of poorly with an average value of 61.44 is in the range of scores 50,1≤ X <66.6, 2 ) Values (value) Basa Rangkayo employees SofyanInn Hotel Padang classified in the category quite well with an average value of 39.06 is in the range 34,7≤X score <43.2, 3) Interest (interest) employees SofyanInn Hotel Rangkayo Basa Padang belong to the category of poorly with an average value of 14.94 is in the range 12 scores ≤ X <15.9.
