Abstract

This research aims to describe the management of facilities at the beach tourism object Nirwana Park. The type of research is descriptive qualitative research. The indicator in the research are primary facilities and supporting facilities wich are always from planning, organizing, actuating, and controlling. The research result shows that planning are still done by generally and not detail. Organizing fields are done by the owner of the tourist atraction. Actuating is done by influencing and giving direction in how the employee must do its task in order to create a positif impression for the tourism the attraction. Control is not well done yet, there are to basic standard in meacuring the acrevement of the goal that had been apointed. Keywords: Facilities Management, Tourist Attraction, Beach

Abstract

This research aims to describe the internal factors and external factors of the facilities development on the tourism object at Telabang Sakti and also to determine the development strategy of tourism facilities at Telabang Sakti. This research consists of three indicators of tourism facilities, namely: basic facilities, complimentary facilities and supporting facilities for tourism. The type of research is descriptive with qualitative data. Informans in this study are namely: 2 people from Dinas Pariwisata Kabupaten Sijunjung, 3 from managers attraction Telabang Sakti and 3 tourist attraction of Telabang Sakti. The development strategy of the facilities in the tourist attraction of Telabang Sakti are to increase the cooporeration of the government with the managers, renovate the resort in the tourist attraction, create a swimming pool with freshwater for snorkeling, increase the knowledge of food and drink merchants, add children’s playground, hold sports event calendar, while to the community to learn it is suggested how to make handicrafts, set a standard selling price, and more vigorous in looking for sponsors.Keywodrs: Strategy, Development, Facilities, SWOT Analysis1D4

Abstract

This research aims to see the effect of the work environment towards employee performance at Hotel Daima Padang. This research is measured through 2 variables, those are: (1) Work Environment (2) Employee Performance . The type of research is a quantitative descriptive with a causal approach using a simple linear regression test. The population of this research is employees of Hotel Daima Padang which amounted to 68 people. The sampling technique is simple random sampling, and the sample in this research amounted to 43 people. Primary data collection technique is done by using questionnaire with likert scale that have been tested the validity and reliability, secondary data is the employee performance taken at Daima Hotel Padang. The result of the research shows that: (1) The overall work environment is in bad category (53%), physical work environment is in bad category with percentage 58%, non physical work environment is in bad category 51% (2) Performance Employees are in adequate categories (42%), (3) work environment affects employee performance of 27.0%.Keywords: Work Environment, Employee Performance

Abstract

This study aims to determine employee perceptions about workplace conflict in SofyanInn Hotel Rangkayo Basa Padang, which includes three indicators of labor conflict, namely: emotion (emotion), values (values) and interest (interest). This type of research is descriptive quantitative research. The study population was the employees SofyanInn Hotel Rangkayo Basa Padang except manager. Employees SofyanInn Hotel Rangkayo Basa Padang totaled 27 permanent employees and 5 daily worker, so that the total population of 32 people. The sampling technique in this research is non probability sampling is saturated sampling a total of 32 employees. The data collection techniques with indirect communication by distributing a questionnaire (questionnaire) in the form of Likert scale that has been tested for validity and reliability. The results showed that the general perception of a conflict of employees working in SofyanInn Hotel Rangkayo Basa Padang belong to the category of poorly with the average value of 115.44 which was in the range 88,1≤X <117.3. While based on individual indicators, namely: 1) Emotion (emotion) employees SofyanInn Hotel Rangkayo Basa Padang belong to the category of poorly with an average value of 61.44 is in the range of scores 50,1≤ X <66.6, 2 ) Values (value) Basa Rangkayo employees SofyanInn Hotel Padang classified in the category quite well with an average value of 39.06 is in the range 34,7≤X score <43.2, 3) Interest (interest) employees SofyanInn Hotel Rangkayo Basa Padang belong to the category of poorly with an average value of 14.94 is in the range 12 scores ≤ X <15.9.

Abstract

The purpose of this research is to examine the influence between the quality of service towards visitor satisfaction in Adityawarman Museum. The type of research is clausal assosiative. Population in this research are amounted to 117 people. The sampling technique is non probability sampling, by using insidental sampling. Sample in this research are amounted to 54 people. Data collecting using a questionnaire based on a Likert scale that has been tested for validity and reliability. Based on the results of theresearch concluded that in general about the quality of service in Adityawarman Museum is good (63 %), meanwhile for visitor satisfaction in Adityawarman Museum is also good (66,7 %). The results also indicate that the are significant influence between quality of service and visitor satisfaction in Adityawarman Museum with the coefficient determinant (R Square) value of 0,146 on a 0,004 significant value. Abstract

The purpose of this research is to describe the cultural potential in the city of Jambi. This research consists of one indicator of potential tourist attraction that is: cultural potential. The type of this research is descriptive research with qualitative data. Informants in this study are: Head of Tourism of Jambi, Head of Program Development Tourism of Jambi, business cultural attractions in the city of Jambi, visitors to the cultural attractions in the city of Jambi and communities around the cultural attractions in the city of Jambi. The research found few potential of culture in Jambi, namely, archaeological sites or prehistoric form of: 1) Rumah Batu Olak Kemang, 2) Makam Habib Idrus Bin Hasan A-jufri (Pangeran Wiro Kusumo) and Makam Keramat Tambak Husein bin Ahmad Baragbah Jambi Kota Seberang, 3) Museum Perjuangan Rakyat Jambi, 4) Museum Siginjei, 5) Museum Gentala Arasy, 6) Al-Falah Mosque (Mosque of the Thousand Pillar). Traditional customs: 1) Adat pernikahan, 2) Rumah tradisional, 3) Makanan Khas Jambi (Tempoyak, Malbi, Gulai tepek, Padamaran, Nasi Keryak), Arts and Crafts: 1) Jambi Batik, 2) Woven and Wood Carving, 3 ) Kompangan (Hadra), 4) Tari Sekapur Sirih, 5) Tari Kompangan Bedana, 6) Tari Zapin Tekuluk, 7) Harmony Festival, 8) Haul.Keywords: Cultural Potential, Tourist Attraction.

Abstract

The purpose of this research is to know the travelers opinion at as seen from four indicators: attraction, accesibilities, amanities, and ancillary services. The type of research is descriptive with the data qualitative and quantitative. Technique data collection was carried out by using the method interview, observation, documentation, and quetioner. The research is using purposive sampling and snowball sampling, involving informants wich are: five people from management, eight people from community, and seventy one tourist who come to visit. Technique data collection conducted by interviewing managers and the community, and spreading quetioner by using scale likert that are highly capable validity and reliability, and sought the percrentage level of achievement of repondents with the help of computer program SPSS version 16.00. Technique analysis data used in this research was reduction data, presentation of data, the conclusion, and calculation the level of achievement respondents. The result of this research found the overall tourist attraction of Carolina coastal is not good enough, and einforced also by tourist questionnaires that showed less good results about Carolina coastal tourist attraction by 46 %.Keywords: Tourist attraction, Tourism1Prodi

Abstract

This research purpose to know how satisfied the tourist about tourist attractionin Gandoriah Beach Pariaman which include three of tourism satisfiedindicators that are the fulfillment of tourist experctations, the desire to useproducts/services again, and the desire to promote products/services to others.This type of research is descriptive research using survey method. Populasi inthis research amounted to 222.884 people’s and for sample this researchamounted 100 people’s. Sampling technique is non probality sampling usingincidental sampling. Data collection using a questionnaire that tested forvalidity and realibility. Based on the result of the research shown that touristsatisfaction about tourism attraction of Pantai Gandoriah Pariaman tourism isfairly satisfy categorized with avarege value 94,41 at the range score 83-103with 44% percentage.Keyword: satisfied, tourist, tourist attraction, Gandoriah Beach Pariaman

Abstract

This purpose of research is to analyze the relation between interpersonal communication with employees performance at Bumiminang Padang. The type is the correlation. Populations in this study are all employees in hotel operations Bumiminang Padang period December 2015 - April 2016 about 82 employees with a sample of 67 people with taking sample proportionate strafied random sampling. Data collection based to likert scale, while data on employee performance is secondary data obtained from HRD Hotel Bumiminang. The result showed that: 1) Communication interpersonal Hotel Bumiminang categorized as good (57%). 2) Performance of employees at Bumiminang Padang categorized as good (97%). 3) Result correlation Perason Product Moment indicate it’s value 0,457 with significance of 5%. This means that there is a positive connection significant between communication interpersonal with the employees performance.Keywords: interpersonal communication, employee performance

Abstract

This research aimed to determine the influence of tourism facilities toward the tourists satisfaction at Panorama Tabek Patah Kabupaten Tanah Datar. The type of this research was associative causal. The population in this research was the average of the tourists about 1,001 persons each month. The technique of sampling was non-probability sampling (purposive sampling). The number of samples in this research were 91 persons by using the Riduwans’ formula. The technique of data collecting by using a questionnaire based on Likert Scale which has proven its validity and reliability. Generally, tourism facilites was bad about 48,35% and the tourists satisfaction was good enough about 67,03%. Then, the result of regression linier obtained F count with sig . 0.000 < 0.05. From the hypotesis test, the result of R Square was 0.600. This means that tourism facilities influenced tourists satisfaction about 60%, while the remainder influenced by other factors.Keywords : tourism facilities, tourists satisfaction
