Abstract

This research aims to study the history of the development of the Urung Senembah kingdom in Patumbak from 1620 to 2023, with a focus on the development of the kingdom, history and Islam. This research uses historical research methods in four steps: heuristics, criticism, interpretation, and historiography. Data was collected from relevant archives, books, articles and reports. This research focuses on the Urung Senembah kingdom, which was founded by the Barus family and had authority over the Deli and Serdang Sultanates. The territory of this kingdom stretches from the Seruai River to thelumai River. This research uses primary and secondary sources, including history books, government reports, and contemporary documents. This study aims to complete research on the Urung Senembah kingdom and its significance in the history of Patumbak.

Abstract

This study aims to explore the problems and formulate solutions related to the implementation of halal certification for MSMEs in Indonesia. Employing a qualitative content analysis approach, ten articles published between 2019 and 2024 were analyzed using a mind map chart to identify key issues and integrated solutions. The findings highlight five major areas of concern: regulations, business actors, support systems, implementation processes, and public outreach. Key challenges include an underdeveloped legal structure, high certification costs, low awareness among business actors, and inadequate infrastructure and support. Proposed solutions involve offering free halal certification, enhancing outreach efforts, digitizing the certification system, strengthening institutional support, and providing technical assistance. This research offers a comprehensive mapping of problems and solutions, an approach not previously undertaken. It underscores the need for synergy between the government, support institutions, and MSMEs to build a more inclusive and effective halal certification ecosystem in Indonesia.   Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengeksplorasi problematika dan merumuskan solusi dalam pelaksanaan sertifikasi halal bagi pelaku UMKM di Indonesia. Dengan pendekatan analisis konten kualitatif, 10 artikel terpilih dari tahun 2019-2024 dianalisis menggunakan alat pemetaan mind maps chart untuk mengidentifikasi tantangan utama dan solusi yang terintegrasi. Hasil penelitian mengungkapkan lima aspek problematika utama: regulasi, pelaku usaha, sistem pendukung, implementasi, dan sosialisasi. Tantangan meliputi ketidaksiapan struktur hukum, biaya yang memberatkan, rendahnya kesadaran pelaku usaha, serta keterbatasan infrastruktur dan pendampingan. Solusi yang diusulkan meliputi program sertifikasi halal gratis, peningkatan sosialisasi, digitalisasi sistem, penguatan dukungan kelembagaan, dan pendampingan teknis. Penelitian ini berkontribusi dengan menyajikan pemetaan komprehensif problematika dan solusi tentang pelaksanaan sertifikasi halal bagi pelaku UMKM di Indonesia. Dalam implikasinya diperlukan sinergi antara pemerintah, lembaga pendukung, dan UMKM untuk menciptakan ekosistem sertifikasi halal yang lebih inklusif dan efisien di Indonesia.

Abstract

The vast territory of Indonesia stretches from Sabang to Merauke and from Miangas Island to Rote Island. Apart from its vast land and abundant natural resources, Indonesia also has a very diverse culture, this can be seen from the disparities in race, religion, ethnicity and inter-group (SARA. Using a qualitative approach method, the researcher wrote this scientific paper. The study's findings indicate that individuals have greater faith in every item in the Munggah Muluh procession. The blending of local knowledge with the Islamic faith led to the acculturation of Islam and Javanese culture in the Munggah Muluh tradition, resulting in the creation of several customs rather than just one. Islam and local communities' teachings, like Selamatetan, which was once a local culture before evolving and appearing to become a shared culture since in reality both aspects of Islam and local wisdom meld into one, are examples of this blending.

Abstract

Direktorat Jenderal Imigrasi yang berada dalam naungan Kementerian Hukum dan HAM Republik Indonesia sebagai organisasi publik memiliki kewajiban untuk menyediakan pelayanan publik kepada masyarakat. Berbagai upaya telah dilakukan untuk memberikan pelayanan terbaik dalam pembuaan paspor, namun masih ada beberapa pengaduan dari masyarakat serta permasalahan dalam pembuatan paspor. Oleh karena itu penting untuk dilakukannya strategi komunikasi dalam sosialisasi untuk mengetahui cara pembuatan paspor bagi warga negara Indonesia. Adapun permasalahan yang di bahas dalam penelitian ini adalah bagaimana program dan strategi komunikasi dalam sosialisasi pembuatan paspor yang dapat diterapkan oleh Kantor Imigrasi Kelas 1 Medan. Metode penelitian yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah metode kualitatif dengan pendekatan deskriptif. Hasil dari penelitian ini adalah terdapat program dan strategi dalam upaya meningkatkan kualitas pembuatan paspor.

Abstract

The concern surrounding halal and haram products is a focal point for legal scholars and historians, sparking ongoing debates within various societal sectors. This study delves into the historical evolution of halal branding within the culinary industry in Medan. Historical methods and qualitative approaches, encompassing literature reviews, observations, interviews, and documentation, were employed to gather data. Findings emphasize the pivotal role of halal branding in ensuring the safety, comfort, and availability of halal products, impacting the well-being of a diverse population. The journey began in 1976 with the introduction of a logo signifying the presence of pork, subsequently gaining momentum in 1988 when researchers from the University of Brawijaya Faculty of Enforcement identified food products suspected of pork content. A year later, the Indonesian Ulema Council (Majelis Ulama Indonesia - MUI) established the Food, Drug, and Cosmetics Assessment Institute (LPPOM) to oversee halal certification. The enactment of the Halal Product Assurance Law (UUJPH) in late 2014 mandated that all products circulating within Indonesia must hold halal certification, coinciding with the establishment of the Halal Product Assurance Agency (BPJPH) under the Ministry of Religious Affairs.

Abstract

This article aims to reveal the history and architecture of Masjid Agung Datuk Badiuzzaman Surbakti. This research adopts a qualitative research design with a descriptive approach and employs historical methods in the data collection and analysis process. There are four stages conducted in this research, namely heuristic, verification, interpretation, and historiography. Data were obtained through interviews, observations, and documentation. The research findings indicate that Masjid Agung Datuk Badiuzzaman was established in 1885 AD by Datuk Badiuzzaman Surbakti, the eighth king of the Sunggal Kingdom, also known as the King of Serbanyaman. Furthermore, the study also demonstrates that until the present day, the mosque stands firmly as a symbol of history and the community's beliefs. The architecture of this mosque reflects the beauty of past architectural art, which combines traditional and spiritual values within its structure. This research provides a significant contribution in understanding the role of Masjid Agung Datuk Badiuzzaman Surbakti in the context of local history and architecture, enriching insights into the cultural and religious heritage of this region.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the political contestation between the Deli and Serdang Sultanates and to determine the impact of the contestation. This study uses the historical method with four steps, namely: heuristics, verification, interpretation, and historiography. The sources of data used in this study include primary and secondary sources. Primary sources are agreement texts and interviews. While secondary sources are obtained through several books, theses, and journals related to the two sultanates. The analysis used is deductive, namely drawing conclusions from the general to the specific, in which the political contestation in the Deli and Serdang Sultanates, so as to obtain information on how the political contestation between the two.

Abstract

Pengabdian masyarakat berbasis moderasi beragama ini penting dilaksanakan karena masih banyak masyarakat yang belum memahami konsep moderasi beragama secara utuh. Bahkan masih tabu dengan pemahaman umat beragama lain sehingga sering kali memicu konflik beragama yang dapat terjadi akibat kesalahpahaman dan intoleransi. Terciptanya masyarakat yang moderat dan toleran merupakan kunci mewujudkan masyarakat yang maju dan sejahtera. Pengabdian masyarakat ini menggunakan metode Participatory Action Reseach(PAR), dimana masyarakat ikut berperan serta didalamnya. Adapun hasil yang diperoleh dari kegiatan pengabdian masyarakat ini adalah terbentuknya Rumah Moderasi Beragama yang memiliki program-program keagamaan berdasarkan kearifan lokal. Pengabdian masyarakat ini juga membuka pola pikir masyarakat tentang persamaan dan persaudaraan yang harus dijaga.

Abstract

This article explores Qur'anic parenting as a religious approach to improving children's psychological and moral well-being. Qur'anic parenting, grounded in Islamic teachings, emphasizes the cultivation of moral character and psychological resilience in children through the application of principles such as compassion, justice, and wisdom. The article examines how these principles, derived from the Qur'an, can be implemented in modern parenting practices to foster the holistic development of children. Along with the lack of knowledge, attention, and practice of parents regarding parenting in accordance with Sharia, this has an impact on the decline in the quality of children's morals, thus triggering many problems of juvenile delinquency. One of the impacts of this concern is that some people choose not to have children. So of course, every parent needs to know the signs of parenting in the Quran. This research also aims to provide information and understanding of the concept of parenting in the Qur'an. The research method used is library research with a thematic study approach. Collecting several words in the term child then analyzing it and making it in several sub-discussions. The results of this study include the following: The Qur'an has explained in detail about the nature of children and the rights that need to be given to them, which is an indication that parents should apply to them, such as; giving affection, giving good names, being a good example and always giving good advice to children.

Abstract

Stunting terjadi dimana keadaan ketidakmampuan tumbuh kembang pada balita (bayi di bawah 5 tahun) karena kelaparan terus-menerus sehingga anak terlalu pendek untuk usianya. berat dan levelnya tidak sesuai dengan usia (sub optimal) dan masih diungkit oleh staf klinis..Kekurangan gizi terjadi sejak bayi dalam kandungan pada masa awal setelah bayi lahir akan tetapi, kondisi stunting baru nampak setelah bayi berusia 2 tahun.  Berdasarkan penjelasan diatas maka penulis ingin meneliti bagaimana upaya memunculkan sikap waspada dan kepedulian terhadap pertumbuhan dan perkembangan anak- anak di desa Meranti.Jenis Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah metode deskriptif dengan menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif. Lokasi penelitian dilakukan di Desa Meranti,Kecamatan Meranti,Kabupaten Asahan, dengan subjek penelitian 10 orang warga yang merupakan ibu rumahtangga yang memiliki anak balita.Metode pengumpulan data menggunakan observasi, wawancara dan dokumentasi. Masyarakat yang dijadikan subjek dipilih secara objektif yang ditentukan dengan yang diperoleh dari penelitian tersebut adalah ditemukannya pusat permasalahan stunting dan gizi buruk dan menimbulkan rasa kepedulian dan waspada terhadap resiko dan pencegahannya.Upaya pelaksanaan sosialisasi dan penyuluhan rutin dilakukan, merupakan bagian dari rangkaian upaya preventif. Peneliti dapat menyimpulkan bahwa peran Puskesmas dan petugas kesehatan setempat sangat diperlukan disini mengingat masih minimnya informasi dan pengetahuan akan stunting dan gizi buruk ini. Namun,mengatasi permasalahan ini tidak semudah yang di bayangkan tapi akan berdampak baik jika dilaksanakan dengan rutin dan berkesinambungan.
