Abstract

MSMEs are a sector that supports 97% of the workforce in the Republic of Indonesia, however many MSMEs do not carry out proper accounting records. Several underlying factors include an incorrect financial reporting mindset, limited knowledge of financial management and accounting and limited time and energy. Simple accounting recording training is a solution to help MSMEs manage their finances more regularly and bankably. Accounting training carried out for 30 MSMEs in Taba Penanjung sub-district, Bengkulu Regency is being carried out in one day as a form of community service, receiving a positive and enthusiastic response from the training participants and providing quite a positive impact based on the pretest and posttest. MSME players with various educational backgrounds are considered quite capable of understanding the basic equations of accounting and financial reports such as balance sheets, profit and loss and notes to financial reports (CaLK) in a simple manner. Further assistance, not limited to training, is a recommendation for this simple accounting recording training activity.

Abstract

The village government serves as the frontline in delivering public services in Indonesia, particularly in providing administrative services to the community. However, challenges such as limited human resources and technology often hinder the effectiveness of these services. The Field Work Practice (PKL) activity conducted by students at the Dusun Baru Village Office, Ilir Talo Sub-district, aims to support the implementation of public services, especially in managing administrative letters and handling community complaints. The PKL activities included observation, active participation in administrative services, and assisting community members. The results showed that student involvement was able to improve the efficiency and accuracy of service processes, as well as provide innovative solutions to technical challenges in the field. Therefore, the role of students has proven to be strategic in helping village officials deliver more responsive and professional services.

Abstract

The Thematic Community Service Program (KKN-T) of Dehasen University Bengkulu Group 12 in 2025 was held in RT007/RW04 Pematang Gubernur Village, Muara Bangkahulu District, Bengkulu City, from June 11 to July 4, 2025. This program aims to improve clean living behavior and strengthen mutual cooperation in the community. The main problem faced is the low level of public awareness in littering, which results in a dirty environment and clogged gutters, especially during the rainy season. The methods used include initial observation, socialization, direct implementation, and assistance in environmental cleanliness mutual cooperation activities. KKN-T students together with local officials were actively involved in cleaning yards, public roads, gutters from garbage and weeds. The results of the activity showed an increase in community participation and awareness of the importance of maintaining cleanliness and preserving the culture of mutual cooperation. It is hoped that this activity can create a clean, healthy, beautiful environment, and free from disease and flood disasters, as well as strengthen the sense of ownership and responsibility of the community towards their environment.

Abstract

Animal feed and goat farm waste are among the challenges faced by the Air Lang Jaya Village-Owned Enterprise (BUMDes) in IV Suku Menanti Village, Sindang Dataran District, Rejang Lebong Regency. These BUMDes business units include agro-tourism and nature tourism. Exploring the potential and problems of BUMDes, starting with focus group discussions (FGDs), digital marketing training, animal feed fermentation training, and animal manure processing, are methods used to address these issues. This training is expected to have an impact on improving the welfare of livestock farmers and BUMDes income. Farmer groups can maximize goat livestock yields through more nutritious feed, and animal manure marketed through BUMDes will have an impact on the income of BUMDes and livestock farmers. This activity demonstrates the role of BUMDes in improving food security at the village level. BUMDes can also develop more mature business plans for the future.
