Abstract

Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk menganalisis pengaruh peranan sumber daya manusia terhadap kinerja karyawan, untuk menganalisis pengaruh pelatihan terhadap kinerja karyawan dan untuk menganalisis pengaruh disiplin kerja terhadap kinerja karyawan, serta untuk menganalisis pengaruh peranan sumber daya manusia, pelatihan, dan disiplin kerja secara simultan terhadap kinerja karyawan. Populasi penelitian ini adalah karyawan PT. EMI Internasional yang berjumlah 40 orang. Sampel penelitian 40 responden, teknik pengambilan data menggunakan kuisioner. Analisis data menggunakan regresi linier berganda dan uji hipotesis menggunakan SPSS versi 23. Hasil penelitian ini adalah peranan sumber daya manusia berpengaruh signifikan terhadap kinerja karyawan, pelatihan berpengaruh signifikan terhadap kinerja karyawan, disiplin kerja berpengaruh signifikan terhadap kinerja karyawan, dan peranan sumber daya manusia, pelatihan dan disiplin kerja secara simultan berpengaruh signifikan terhadap kinerja karyawan

Abstract

Organizational Citizenship Behavior (OCB) is a voluntary employee behavior that does not directly cause imbalance, but contributes significantly to organizational effectiveness. This behavior is strongly influenced by internal employee factors, such as commitment to the organization and job satisfaction. This study aims to analyze the relationship between organizational commitment and job satisfaction on OCB among PT. XYZ employees. A quantitative approach with a descriptive-associative design was used in this study. The entire population consisting of 45 employees was taken as a sample using a census technique. Data collection was carried out through a Likert-sized questionnaire (1–5), which had been tested for validity and reliability. The results of multiple linear regression analysis showed that organizational commitment (β = 0.41; p < 0.01) and job satisfaction (β = 0.35; p < 0.01) had a positive and significant partial effect on OCB. Simultaneously, the two variables explained 57.2% of the variation in OCB (R² = 0.572; F = 28.6; p < 0.001). In conclusion, increasing employee commitment and job satisfaction is an important strategy in forming a work culture that supports OCB behavior and increases organizational effectiveness.

Abstract

Organizational commitment is vital for enhancing lecturer performance in higher education institutions. This study examines the influence of transformational leadership and organizational culture on lecturer performance, mediated by organizational commitment, in a private university in Batam City. The research aims to understand how these factors interact and contribute to performance outcomes. A quantitative approach was employed, involving 75 active lecturers selected through simple random sampling. Data were collected using structured questionnaires and analyzed using Partial Least Squares Structural Equation Modeling. The findings reveal that organizational commitment significantly enhances lecturer performance, while organizational culture directly influences both performance and commitment. Transformational leadership does not directly affect performance but significantly impacts organizational commitment. Notably, organizational commitment mediates the relationship between organizational culture and performance, but not between transformational leadership and performance. The study concludes that fostering a strong organizational culture and high commitment levels is essential for improving lecturer performance. Institutions should prioritize creating supportive work environments and leadership development programs to enhance commitment and performance, offering valuable insights for human resource management in higher education.

Abstract

Produktivitas karyawan menentukan kemampuan perusahaan mencapai target dan menjaga mutu output. Penelitian ini bertujuan menganalisis pengaruh training and development serta insentif terhadap produktivitas karyawan Perusahaan Erlangga, sekaligus menguji peran mediasi human capital. Studi menggunakan desain kuantitatif eksplanatori dengan survei cross-sectional. Data dikumpulkan melalui kuesioner skala Likert 1–5 dari 62 karyawan yang dipilih dengan purposive sampling dan proportionate stratified. Analisis dilakukan memakai PLS-SEM (SmartPLS) melalui evaluasi outer–inner model serta bootstrapping. Hasil menunjukkan instrumen memenuhi validitas konvergen dan reliabilitas; model bebas multikolinearitas (VIF 1,887–4,123). Training and development berpengaruh positif signifikan terhadap human capital (β=0,628; p<0,001) dan insentif juga berpengaruh positif signifikan (β=0,422; p<0,001). Human capital berpengaruh kuat terhadap produktivitas (β=0,535; p<0,001) serta memediasi pengaruh training and development (βind=0,509; p<0,001) dan insentif (βind=0,248; p<0,001) terhadap produktivitas. Daya jelaskan model tergolong tinggi (R²=0,588; Q²=0,664; GoF≈0,65). Secara teoretis, temuan memperjelas jalur konversi investasi SDM ke output kerja; secara praktis, manajemen perlu menajamkan pelatihan berbasis kebutuhan kerja, memastikan evaluasi–tindak lanjut pascapelatihan, dan merancang insentif yang adil, transparan, serta terkait metrik kinerja yang kredibel. Keterbatasan studi adalah desain potong lintang dan fokus satu perusahaan; riset lanjut disarankan memakai data longitudinal dan pembanding lintas sektor, sekaligus memperkecil training–transfer gap di unit kerja secara berkelanjutan terukur dalam konteks Indonesia.

Abstract

Abstract: This study aims to quantitatively analyze the effect of the number of foreign tourist visits on the Regional Original Income (PAD) of the tourism sector in Batam City using 2025 data. This study uses a quantitative approach with an explanatory research method, namely research that aims to explain the causal relationship between independent and dependent variables through statistical hypothesis testing. The number of foreign tourist visits has a positive and significant effect on Regional Original Income (PAD) in the tourism sector in Batam City in 2025. Regression test results indicate that an increase in the number of foreign tourist visits statistically increases PAD revenue, particularly from hotel taxes, restaurant taxes, and tourism levies. The high coefficient of determination indicates that most of the variation in PAD in the tourism sector can be explained by changes in the number of foreign tourist visits, thus emphasizing the strategic role of the international tourism sector as a key pillar of regional revenue in Batam City. These findings support the economic theory of tourism and the tourism-led growth hypothesis, which states that increased tourist flows stimulate local economic activity and broaden the regional fiscal revenue base. Keywords: tourism sector, foreign countries, PAD, regional fiscal Abstrak: Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis secara kuantitatif pengaruh jumlah kunjungan wisman terhadap PAD sektor pariwisata di Kota Batam dengan menggunakan data tahun 2025. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kuantitatif dengan jenis penelitian eksplanatori, yaitu penelitian yang bertujuan untuk menjelaskan hubungan sebab–akibat (causal relationship) antara variabel independen dan variabel dependen melalui pengujian hipotesis secara statistik. jumlah kunjungan wisatawan mancanegara (wisman) berpengaruh positif dan signifikan terhadap Pendapatan Asli Daerah (PAD) sektor pariwisata di Kota Batam pada tahun 2025. Hasil uji regresi menunjukkan bahwa peningkatan jumlah kunjungan wisman secara statistik mampu meningkatkan penerimaan PAD, khususnya yang bersumber dari pajak hotel, pajak restoran, dan retribusi pariwisata. Nilai koefisien determinasi yang tinggi mengindikasikan bahwa sebagian besar variasi PAD sektor pariwisata dapat dijelaskan oleh perubahan jumlah kunjungan wisman, sehingga mempertegas peran strategis sektor pariwisata internasional sebagai salah satu pilar utama pendapatan daerah Kota Batam. Temuan ini memperkuat teori ekonomi pariwisata dan hipotesis pertumbuhan berbasis pariwisata (tourism-led growth), yang menyatakan bahwa peningkatan arus wisatawan mendorong aktivitas ekonomi lokal dan memperluas basis penerimaan fiskal daerah.
