Abstract

The flipbook media science teaching materials were developed because in the schools where the research was carried out, especially in the UPT SDN 236 Gresik and also in the school cluster area of Menganti District, Gresik Regency, this type of media has never been developed. Learning resource media are mostly in the form of printed books and pdf format books. The content of the material is developed and adjusted contextually. With the existence of new learning resources, it is hoped that students will be interested, so that they are more intensive in studying the material of IPAS CHAPTER VI and subsequently it is expected to have an impact on increasing learning outcomes. The development research model used is Borg and Gall with 10 development steps to the dissemination and implementation stages. The flipbook making application program used is flip pdf professional. The data collection technique uses observation, interviews, and filling in instruments carried out by three experts, namely design experts, material experts, and media experts. Instruments are also filled by students after small tests, medium group tests, and field tests. The results of data processing by media experts are 85%, material experts are 98%, design experts are 92%, from students are 87%, and from peers are 95%, which are interpreted based on the Likert scale is included in the category of feasible and qualified for use.Keywords: Teaching materieals, flipbook, elementary school.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the influence of the Problem Based Learning (PBL) and Project Based Learning (PjBL) learning models and learning motivation on the science learning outcomes of class IX students at SMPN 1 Pacet. The study employed an experimental method with a 2×2 factorial design. The research sample consisted of two randomly selected classes, each with 30 students. The research instruments included a science learning achievement test and a learning motivation questionnaire, both of which had been tested for validity and reliability. The data were analyzed using a two-way ANOVA after meeting the assumptions of normality and homogeneity. The results showed that the learning model significantly influenced science learning outcomes (Sig. = 0.000). Students learning using PjBL showed greater improvement in learning outcomes than those using PBL. Learning motivation also significantly influenced learning outcomes (Sig. = 0.000), with students learning through PjBL demonstrating higher learning outcomes than those learning through PBL. Furthermore, there was a significant interaction between the learning model and learning motivation on science learning outcomes (Sig. = 0.016), indicating that the effectiveness of the learning model depends on students’ levels of learning motivation. In conclusion, these findings emphasize the importance of selecting an appropriate learning model and the need to consider motivational factors to optimize science learning outcomes.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the differences in the effectiveness of inquiry learning on several levels towards improving science process skills with different initial knowledge. The study design uses quasi-experimental treatment with pre-posttates in the control group and the experimental group. Class X MAN Sampang and SMAN 1 Sampang students in 2018/2019 school year. Samples were grouped into three treatment groups. The experimental group 1 applied level 3 inquiry learning (PIT-3), the experimental group 2 applied level 4 inquiry learning (PIT-4) and the control group applied level 2 inquiry learning (PIT-2). The science process skills test uses multiple choice objective questions with a test reliability of 0.77. Data analysis uses ANOVA test. This study concludes level 2 (PIT-2), level 3 (PIT-3) and level 4 (PIT-4) inquiry learning has a difference in effectiveness in improving science process skills. Improved science process skills of students with different initial knowledge, most effective in the application of inquiry level 3 (PIT-3) learning, students with high and low initial knowledge gain a higher gain than the application of level 2 (PIT-2) and level 4 inquiry learning (PIT-4).

Abstract

Education is basically a conscious effort to develop the potential of students by facilitating their learning activities. A nation is said to be advanced when the quality of its human resources is good, while the quality of human resources itself depends on the quality of its education. Given the importance of the role of education in people's lives, the government seeks to improve the quality of education, including improving the quality of students' abilities.The purpose of this study was to determine the effect of Self Regulated Learning (student self-management) and teacher character on student learning achievement. The type of research used in this study is correlational with a quantitative approach, where this study intends to determine the relationship of a variable to other variables. Data collection is obtained by conducting tests, questionnaires and documents. Data analysis using the Two Way Anova test. The results of the study show that: (1) There is the effect of Self Regulated Learning on student learning achievement, (2) There is a guidance for Teacher Character on student achievement, (3) Interaction between Self Regulated Learning and Teacher Character on student achievement.

Abstract

The development of information technology has an impact on the education sector. The purpose of this study was to determine the effect of the application of electronic learning on student English learning outcomes in vocational high schools. The quasi-experimental research method is used to measure the effect of treatment in learning. The population of research subjects came from students of class XI SMK 5 Surabaya. The results showed that there were differences in the effect of student learning outcomes between classes using e-learning and conventional learning. However, there is no relationship between the learning model and students' initial knowledge of their learning outcomes. The results of this research recommend that teachers combine conventional learning with electronic learning

Abstract

The purpose of this study has described the development of English teaching materials about exposition text and informal letters for second grade in Senior High School using STAD and TPS models of cooperative learning, described the skills of English language, and determined of using the ADDIE from Research and Development (R&D) method, which consisted of five research steps. The assessment of the quality of teaching materials was obtained from students and experts. The results from design expert were 86%, learning content expert was 91% and media expert was 86%. After that, the assessment for the individual test was 81%, small groups were 87% and the field test was 87%. From those explanations, it explained that English teaching materials about exposition text and informal letters for second-grade senior high school are appropriate for students and teachers in the learning and teaching environment.

Abstract

Research on the development of mathematics teaching materials in building space and data processing is designed to be more practical, effective, and easy to understand for Grade V students of SD with the ADDIE model development method. The types of data in this study are: content content validation, design validation, student and teacher response questionnaires, and written test of learning outcomes. The analysis technique uses descriptive analysis then the data is processed by being converted using a predetermined formula. The results of content validation from experts after being converted with a table of achievement levels were obtained 89.09%. The results of the design validation from the expert after being converted with a table of achievement levels were obtained 86.49%. Field trial results after being converted with a table of achievement levels obtained 91.81%. While the written test of learning outcomes was obtained as many as 29 children completed with a percentage of 90.625% of 32 children. From the data and analysis that has been done it can be concluded that the results of the development of mathematics teaching materials for Grade V Semester II Elementary Schools can be used as teaching materials

Abstract

The development of information technology requires teachers to have adequate competence in designing and implementing digital-based learning. Teachers are not only required to master the teaching material but also be able to utilize technology as an effective learning media and resource. However, elementary school teachers still encounter obstacles in optimally integrating digital technology into the learning process. Based on these conditions, this Community Service activity was carried out in the form of a Digital Learning Workshop for teachers at SDN Sampangagung 1, Mojosari District, Mojokerto Regency. This activity aims to improve teachers' understanding and skills related to digital learning concepts, the use of digital media and learning resources, and the use of the internet, blogs, YouTube, and social media in learning. In addition, this activity also aims to equip teachers with the ability to design innovative and contextual digital learning in accordance with the needs of the community.The characteristics of elementary school students were examined. The participants in this activity were all teachers at SDN Sampangagung 1, Mojosari District, Mojokerto Regency. The workshop was conducted online, combining discussion and practical sessions. The results showed that the Digital Learning Workshop improved teachers' conceptual understanding and practical skills in utilizing learning technology. Overall, this community service activity was deemed successful, based on the achievement of participant targets, the implementation of the material, and the improvement of teachers' skills in mastering digital-based learning.
