Abstract

Penelitian ini membahas penerapan metode Complex Proportional Assessment (COPRAS) dalam memilih merek parfum berdasarkan kepribadian konsumen. Parfum sebagai elemen penting dalam kehidupan modern, dipilih dengan mempertimbangkan berbagai kriteria seperti kecocokan kepribadian, aroma, daya tahan, harga, dan kualitas bahan. Penelitian ini mengidentifikasi lima tipe kepribadian utama: ekstrovert, introvert, elegan, romantis, dan petualang yang cenderung memilih parfum sesuai dengan karakteristik masing-masing. Temuan penelitian menunjukkan bahwa metode ini efektif dalam mengevaluasi dan menetapkan peringkat alternatif terbaik dengan menghitung utilitas relatif. Dalam penelitian ini, merek parfum Braven dengan karakteristik ekstrovert menempati peringkat pertama dengan nilai 100, diikuti oleh Octarine (ekstrovert) dengan nilai 88,33 dan Fresh dengan nilai 81,77 (introvert). Metode COPRAS terbukti unggul dalam mengintegrasikan berbagai kriteria kompleks dan memberikan hasil yang lebih komprehensif dibanding metode lainnya. Kesimpulan menunjukkan bahwa penggunaan metode ini mempermudah konsumen untuk memilih parfum yang sesuai dengan kepribadian mereka, serta meningkatkan akurasi dan objektivitas dalam proses pengambilan keputusan.

Abstract

The Economic Order Quantity (EOQ) method is an important inventory management to determine the optimal order quantity to minimize total inventory costs, including ordering costs, storage costs, and stockouts. Companies use technology to make data management easier. With the increasing demand for chicken meat, efficient raw material management is very important to reduce production costs and maintain chicken health. This study found problems faced by companies as a result of manual recording systems that are prone to errors and data loss. The study aims to improve the accuracy of feed management, reduce waste, and ensure proper nutrition for broiler chickens through the implementation of this system. The results of the implementation of this system show improvements in raw material efficiency analysis and stock monitoring. In addition to helping improve the productivity and sustainability of the broiler chicken farming industry, this study offers solutions for companies to overcome current management problems. The system uses the PHP programming language, the codeigniter framework and MySQL as a database.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengembangkan sistem informasi berbasis web berguna memantau penyewa kios di Pasar Inpres, Kabupaten Labuhanbaatu Selatan, Kota Pinang. Sistem ini dikembangkan untuk mengatasi berbagai permasalahan dalam pengelolaan pasar yang masih dilakukan secara manual, seperti pencatatan data kios, pemantauan kebersihan kios, dan masa sewa kios yang sering kali tidak terdokumentasi dengan baik. Penelitian ini dilaksanakan selama tiga bulan dengan pendekatan rekayasa perangkat lunak yang mencakup analisis kebutuhan, perancangan sistem, implementasi, dan pengujian. Sistem yang dibangun memungkinkan pengelola pasar untuk mengakses data secara real-time terkait informasi kios, mulai dari identitas penyewa, status kebersihan kios, hingga durasi sewa. Salah satu fitur unggulan sistem ini adalah penggunaan algoritma Bubble Sort yang berfungsi untuk mengurutkan data berdasarkan tiga aspek utama, yaitu ukuran atau luas kios, tingkat kebersihan, dan masa sewa, dari nilai terbesar ke terkecil. Dengan fitur ini, pengelola dapat dengan mudah melihat prioritas pengawasan dan pengelolaan kios, seperti kios dengan ukuran paling besar, kios dengan masa sewa terpanjang, atau kios dengan tingkat kebersihan paling tinggi. Implementasi sistem ini memberikan dampak signifikan terhadap efektivitas pengelolaan pasar, terutama dalam hal transparansi, efisiensi, dan pengambilan keputusan berbasis data yang akurat dan terstruktur. Selain itu, sistem ini turut mendorong transformasi digital dalam pengelolaan pasar tradisional, dengan menghadirkan teknologi yang relevan dan mudah digunakan. Sistem informasi ini terbukti memberikan kontribusi besar terhadap peningkatan manajemen pasar dan berpotensi untuk diadaptasi di pasar-pasar lainnya sebagai bentuk dukungan terhadap pengembangan infrastruktur ekonomi lokal yang lebih modern dan profesional.

Abstract

Manual management of palm oil harvest data often resulted in data inconsistencies, low operational efficiency, and financial losses for plantation companies. To address these challenges, this study aimed to implement the Key Performance Indicator (KPI) method within a harvest monitoring information system at PT Perkebunan Nusantara (PTPN; Nusantara Plantation Company, Ltd) IV Regional II Unit Adolina, with the goal of enhancing data accuracy, transparency, and managerial effectiveness. A quantitative research approach was employed, utilizing data collection techniques such as observation, interviews, and document analysis. Five out of ten afdeling units were selected as research samples. The performance was assessed using three primary indicators: total harvest yield (weighted at 40%), labour productivity (35%), and monthly harvest frequency (25%). The results revealed significant variations in KPI achievement across afdeling units, with several units exceeding the established targets. Furthermore, the developed system featured an interactive visual dashboard that enabled managers to monitor performance in real time and supported data-driven decision-making. Compared to traditional monitoring tools, this system offered enhanced integration of performance metrics, automated data processing, and real-time analytics, addressing previous limitations such as delayed reporting and fragmented data sources. In conclusion, the integration of KPI into the harvest monitoring information system proved to be effective in providing objective and measurable performance evaluation. This approach offered a strategic solution for improving operational efficiency and productivity in palm oil plantation management.

Abstract

The growing interest in Islamic tourism has prompted the need for a system capable of accurately recommending sharia-compliant tourism destinations. Langkat Regency boasts a variety of attractive destinations, but tourists often struggle to make informed choices due to limited information, while the Tourism Office faces challenges in prioritizing destinations. This study integrates the Rank Order Centroid and Additive Ratio Assessment methods into a decision support system. ROC was used to weight eight assessment criteria based on priority, while ARAS was applied to calculate utility values and rank ten alternative destinations. The analysis showed that Taman Wisata Syariah obtained the highest utility value of 1. Thus, Taman Wisata Syariah is recommended as a prime sharia-compliant tourism destination in Langkat Regency. The integration of the ROC and ARAS methods proved effective in producing consistent, measurable evaluations, and was able to account for variations in weighting between criteria. The developed system not only improves the efficiency of the decision-making process but also provides practical contributions to the management and development of sustainable sharia tourism in Langkat Regency.

Abstract

Penelitian ini membahas pengembangan sistem informasi pelayanan masyarakat dengan menggunakan pendekatan Feature Driven Development (FDD). Permasalahan yang dihadapi adalah proses layanan administrasi dan pengaduan masyarakat yang masih dilakukan secara manual dan kurang efisien. Penulis telah menerapkan pendekatan FDD untuk membangun sistem berbasis web yang memfasilitasi layanan pengajuan permohonan, pelacakan status, pengaduan, serta pengelolaan data oleh staf kelurahan. Proses pengembangan dilakukan secara iteratif berdasarkan daftar fitur yang dirancang dari kebutuhan pengguna. Sistem yang dibangun telah diuji menggunakan metode blackbox testing dan menunjukkan bahwa seluruh fitur berjalan sesuai fungsinya. Hasil ini menunjukkan bahwa metode FDD efektif diterapkan dalam pengembangan perangkat lunak berbasis kebutuhan pengguna, khususnya untuk sistem pelayanan publik di tingkat kelurahan.

Abstract

The Industrial Revolution 4.0 has emphasized the strategic role of information technology in supporting organizational decision-making, particularly in workforce recruitment. Within this context, PTPN IV, a leading company in the plantation sector, continues to encounter challenges in promoting Casual Daily Laborers (BHL) to permanent employees through an objective and transparent selection process. To address this issue, this study introduces a decision support system (DSS) that integrates the Weighted Product (WP) method with Multi-Objective Optimization by Ratio Analysis (MOORA). The WP method is applied to calculate preference values based on weighted criteria, while MOORA facilitates multi-criteria optimization, thereby strengthening the accuracy of the ranking process. Empirical findings indicate that the combined approach significantly enhances decision-making effectiveness, producing more consistent and fair outcomes compared to conventional methods. The practical implication of this research lies in providing PTPN IV with a reliable tool to improve efficiency, ensure fairness, and strengthen accountability in employee promotion decisions, which ultimately contributes to organizational performance and competitiveness.

Abstract

Bitcoin’s extreme price volatility has long posed challenges for both investors and researchers seeking reliable forecasting models. Conventional financial approaches often fail to capture the highly complex, nonlinear, and fast-moving nature of cryptocurrency markets. To address this gap, this study develops a Bitcoin price prediction model using Random Forest Regression based on on-chain market data. The dataset was obtained from publicly available historical Bitcoin daily trading records spanning more than five years. Key features include opening price, daily high and low ranges, trading volume, and percentage change. The research was carried out in several stages. First, data preprocessing was conducted through normalization, handling of missing values, and feature engineering. Second, model training was performed with Random Forest, including parameter tuning to optimize predictive accuracy. Third, model evaluation employed R² and Mean Absolute Percentage Error (MAPE) as primary performance indicators. Fourth, visualization was implemented using interactive charts to allow users to observe short-term price fluctuations and long-term market patterns. The system development followed an iterative methodology inspired by the Streamlit Framework, which is an open-source Python library that simplifies building interactive web applications for data science and machine learning. This approach provides flexibility, enabling rapid experimentation and adaptation to evolving market conditions. The results show that the proposed model achieves near-perfect R² values (approaching 1.0) with consistently low MAPE, highlighting its reliability. Beyond predictive performance, the framework is designed to be scalable, supporting future integration with deep learning methods such as LSTM and external macroeconomic indicators, thus offering both practical utility for investors and academic contributions to decentralized finance research.

Abstract

Telkom Regional 1 Sumatra, as a unit of PT. Telkom Indonesia (Persero) Tbk—a state-owned enterprise (SOE)—provides a Community Development Program aimed at improving the welfare of the community. However, the selection process for aid recipients faces obstacles due to the large number of prospective recipients and the variety of their conditions. This study aims to design a Decision Support System (DSS) to determine the recipients of the Community Development Program assistance by combining two methods, namely SAW and SMART. The SAW method is used to calculate the total score of each prospective recipient, while the SMART method serves to determine the weight and ranking of attributes that are considered important in determining the recipients of assistance. With the combination of these two methods, the system can assess and select prospective recipients who best meet the established criteria. This system was developed using a waterfall model, which includes the stages of analysis, design, implementation, and testing. The results of this research are in the form of a DSS prototype that is expected to improve efficiency and accuracy in the process of determining aid recipients, thereby supporting Telkom Regional 1 Sumatra in distributing aid more fairly and effectively.

Abstract

The rapid growth of tourism in North Sumatra has increased the demand for accommodations, particularly villas. The abundance of villa choices often causes difficulties for tourists in selecting the most suitable option according to their preferences. This issue highlights the need for a Decision Support System (DSS) that can assist both customers and providers in making structured and objective decisions. This study aims to design a DSS for villa selection by applying the Weight Product (WP) and Technique for Order Preference by Similarity to Ideal Solution (TOPSIS) methods. The research steps include determining criteria, assigning weights, calculating preference values, and testing the results using both methods. WP recommended Villa Bukit Indah as the best option with a score of 0.2154, while TOPSIS identified Villa Block F–G as the best alternative with a score of 0.5811. Through the aggregation process, the final result showed that Villa Block F–G ranked first among five alternatives with the highest average score of 0.39145. The findings indicate that WP and TOPSIS can be applied complementarily to produce more accurate accommodation recommendations. Therefore, the proposed DSS supports companies in marketing strategies while helping customers choose villas that match their needs and preferences.Keywords - Customer Preference, Decision Support System, TOPSIS, Villa, Weight Product.
