Abstract

This research focuses on evaluating the feasibility, student responses, and the enhancement of critical thinking skills among high school learners through the use of a Problem-Based Learning (PBL) interactive e-module centered on heat and thermodynamics. Utilizing the Research and Development (R&D) approach through the ADDIE framework, which comprises five distinct phases: analysis, design, development, implementation, and evaluation, the study employed various instruments like observations, interviews, questionnaires, and assessments of critical thinking skills. The findings indicated that the interactive e-module is highly feasible, achieving a score of 87.96%. Student feedback regarding the e-module was also overwhelmingly positive at 82.24%. Furthermore, the assessment of critical thinking enhancements indicated a significant improvement, with an N-Gain of 0.71 categorized as high when comparing pretest and posttes scores. In summary, the interactive e-module developed under the PBL framework is not only appropriate for testing but also significantly boosts students' critical thinking abilities.

Abstract

The research was used to describe the feasibility of digital modules using augmented reality media assisted by MOOCs, describe student responses and describe the improvement of student learning outcomes after the implementation of digital modules using augmented reality media assisted by MOOCs. This type of research is research and development (RD) with the ADDIE development model. The subjects in this study consisted of 36 students in class XI.2 of SMA Negeri 8 Bengkulu City. The results of the study show that the feasibility test criteria for digital modules using augmented reality media assisted by MOOCs are at 92.5% with the category of very feasible. The response given by students to the use of the developed digital module was at 87% with the very good category. From the pretest and posttest sheets using Gain scores, the results were obtained that students experienced an increase in learning outcomes after using the digital modules that had been developed. It can be concluded that digital modules using augmented reality media assisted by MOOCs are very feasible to be used as learning alternatives and can improve student learning outcomes, especially in physics subject matter, namely particle motion dynamics.

Abstract

The independent curriculum emphasizes developing critical thinking skills and solving scientific, analytical, and practical problems. Schools need to facilitate learning that enhances these skills, and teachers must create appropriate strategies. Interviews with physics teachers at SMAN 11 Kota Bengkulu reveal that the independent curriculum is implemented, but assessment data and daily exams show that 50-60% of grade XI students struggle with solving physics problems. Students tend to be passive, memorizing formulas without understanding the concepts deeply. This indicates a lack of critical thinking skills such as analyzing, synthesizing, solving problems, concluding, and evaluating material, especially in linear motion kinematics. Additionally, students’ interest in learning is low, and they find physics difficult. To address this, a STEM-based Problem Based Learning (PBL) model was applied. This study aims to determine the effect of STEM-based PBL on improving students’ critical thinking skills and the extent of improvement in linear motion kinematics. The study used a quasi-experiment with a non-equivalent control group design, with XI C as the control class and XI B as the experimental class.

Abstract

The purpose of this study is to produce a viable product in the form of the development  of Canva-assisted Flipbook Interactive  learning media to increase students' understanding of concepts in global warming material in class X. This research is also to describe the improvement of students' understanding of concepts in global warming materials after using Canva-assisted Flipbook Interactive  learning media. The research method used is Research and Development by applying the ADDIE model. The instruments used in this study are questionnaires, observations, interviews and concept comprehension tests. The results of this study show that an average result of 89.58% was obtained in the very feasible category. Based on the results of the N-gain calculation  obtained by the Pretest and Posttest,  a result of 0.74 is included in the high category. So that it can be summarized based on research that has been conducted at SMA Negeri 2 Kota Bengkulu class X1, namely  Interactive Flipbook media  assisted  by Canva to increase students' understanding of concepts on global warming materials developed is worthy of testing and increasing high understanding of concepts shows that  Interactive Flipbook learning media  assisted by Canva can improve students' understanding of concepts.

Abstract

This study aims to validate the feasibility of physics e-modules based on Problem Based Learning (PBL) model assisted by heyzine flipbook, improve students' problem solving skills after using physics e-modules based on PBL model assisted by heyzine flipbook, and describe students' responses to physics e-modules based on PBL model assisted by heyzine flipbook. The research was conducted in class XI of SMA Negeri 6 Bengkulu City in the 2024/2025 academic year. With the R&D method and ADDIE model. The results of the research from the product validation test stage with a score of 86% (very feasible category) to be used in the physics learning process. The results of the N-gain value through the prettest and posttest tests obtained a score of 0.75 (high category) so that the physics e-module can improve students' problem solving skills. The results of the student response questionnaire obtained a score of 81% (very good category). It can be concluded that the physics e-module based on the PBL model assisted by heyzine flipbook gets a positive response from students.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the responses of PEKERTI participants batch 7 at Bengkulu University to implementation of online training on TPACK-based simple media materials. This type of research is survey research using quantitative research methods. The sample in this study were 51 lecturers from various universities in Indonesia. The study was conducted in October 2022. The data collection technique used a questionnaire so that the measuring instrument was a questionnaire made with a modified Likert scale with 4 answer choices, namely strongly agree, agree, disagree, and strongly disagree. The results showed that the respondents gave a positive response to implementation of online training on simple media materials based on TPACK PEKERTI Batch 7 at Bengkulu University.

Abstract

ABSTRAK   Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk: 1) Mendeskripsikan kelayakan E-Booklet sebagai media interaktif menggunakan Flip PDF Corporate materi sistem ekskresi manusia kelas VIII, 2) Mendeskripsikan persepsi peserta didik terhadap E-Booklet sebagai media interaktif menggunakan Flip PDF Corporate materi sistem ekskresi manusia kelas VIII. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah Research and Development (R & D). Penelitian ini menggunakan model ADDIE, dengan tahapan: 1) Analysis, 2) Design, 3) Development. Kelayakan E-Booklet berdasarkan hasil validasi ahli 2 orang (dosen) dan 2 orang praktisi (guru). Persepsi peserta didik terhadap E-Booklet dengan memberikan angket kepada peserta didik. Hasil kelayakan E-Booklet sebesar 95,91% termasuk kategori sangat layak. Hasil persepsi E-Booklet sebesar 87,98% termasuk kategori sangat baik. Dapat disimpulkan E-Booklet sebagai media interaktif menggunakan Flip PDF Corporate materi sistem ekskresi manusia kelas VIII ini sangat layak untuk digunakan sebagai media pembelajaran.   Kata kunci:E-Booklet, Flip PDF Corporate, Sistem Ekskresi Manusia   ABSTRACT   This study aims to: 1) Describe the feasibility of the E-Booklet as an interactive medium using Flip PDF Corporate material on the human excretion system class VIII, 2) Describe students' perceptions of the E-Booklet as an interactive medium using Flip PDF Corporate material on the human excretion system class VIII. The research method used is Research and Development (R & D). This study uses the ADDIE model, with stages: 1) Analysis, 2) Design, 3) Development. The feasibility of the E-Booklet is based on the results of the validation of 2 experts (lecturers) and 2 practitioners (teachers). Students' perceptions of the E-Booklet by giving questionnaires to students. The e-Booklet eligibility result of 95.91% is in the very feasible category. The results of the perception of the E-Booklet of 87.98% are in the very good category. It can be concluded that the E-Booklet as an interactive media using Flip PDF Corporate material on the human excretory system class VIII is very suitable for use as a learning medium.   Keywords: E-Booklet, Flip PDF Corporate, human Excretory System

Abstract

ABSTRAK   Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan pengaruh, besarnya pengaruh, dan tanggapan siswa dalam penerapan pembelajaran IPA terpadu tipe connected berbantuan alat peraga sederhana terhadap penguasaan konsep siswa. Jenis metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah pre-eksperimen dengan desain penelitian one group pretest-posttest. Penelitian ini dilaksanakan di SMPN 11 Kota Bengkulu dengan sampel penelitian yaitu siswa kelas VIII C. Pemilihan sampel dilakukan dengan menggunakan teknik purposive sampling. Teknik pengumpulan data yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah wawancara, tes, angket, dan dokumentasi. Berdasarkan perhitungan analisis pengaruh menggunakan uji-t paired diperoleh hasil  >  (-17,344 > 2,042) dan nilai sig. (2-tailed) < 0,05 (0,00. < 0,05). Sehingga kriteria pengambilan hipotesis pada penelitian ini adalah H0 ditolak dan Ha diterima. Besarnya pengaruh dianalisis menggunakan perhitungan effect size Cohen’s sebesar 0,32 yang artinya terdapat pengaruh yang sedang. Serta analisis angket tanggapan siswa terhadap beberapa indikator dalam penerapan pembelajaran berkategori baik dengan skor rerata 77. Sehingga dapat disimpulkan bahwa penerapan pembelajaran IPA terpadu tipe connected berbantuan alat peraga sederhana memberikan pengaruh yang signifikan terhadap penguasaan konsep siswa.   Kata kunci: tipe connected, alat peraga sederhana, sistem pernapasan manusia, penguasaan konsep.   ABSTRACT   This study aims to describe the effect, the magnitude of the effect, and student responses in the application of connected type integrated science learning assisted by simple props on student concept mastery. The type of method used in this research is pre-experiment with one group pretest-posttest research design. This research was conducted at SMPN 11 Bengkulu City with the research sample being students of class VIII C. The sample selection was carried out using purposive sampling technique. Data collection techniques used in this study were interviews, tests, questionnaires, and documentation. Based on the calculation of the effect analysis using the paired t-test, the results obtained  >      (-17.344 > 2.042) and sig. (2-tailed) < 0.05 (0.00. < 0.05). So that the criteria for making hypotheses in this study are H0 rejected and Ha accepted. The amount of influence was analyzed using the calculation of Cohen's effect size of 0.32, which means that there is a moderate influence. And the questionnaire analysis of student responses to several indicators in the application of learning is categorized as good with an average score of 77. So it can be concluded that the application of connected type integrated science learning assisted by simple props has a significant effect on students' mastery of concepts.   Keywords: connected type, simple props, human respiratory system, concept mastery.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the effect of problem-based learning on the ability of physics science literacy at SMAN 4 Bengkulu City. The research was conducted in class XI IPA 2. The method used was a pre-experiment with a one group pretest-posttest design. The first stage is the assessment of the test in the form of a pretest (initial test) after which it is given the learning treatment using the problem-based learning model. The last step is given a final test in the form of a posttest. There is an influence on the results of hypothesis testing and the results of students' scientific literacy ability tests before being given treatment and after being given treatment. The test results were hypothesized using the help of SPSS software version 25 obtained H_0 was rejected and H_1 was accepted, using the problem based learning learning model on students' scientific literacy skills on the concept of material Elasticity and Hooke's Law seen from the test results which showed an average posttest result of 80.19% higher than the pretest average (48.52%). Based on the results of the hypothesis test, there is an effect of problem-based learning on the scientific literacy abilities of physics students at SMAN 4 Bengkulu City.

Abstract

Background of Study: The utilization of artificial intelligence (AI) in physics learning in Indonesia is still relatively new and requires further implementation regarding its effectiveness, so that it becomes a challenge in itself, especially in understanding abstract concepts and materials.Aims and scope of paper: The Chatbots and AI Visualizations training at SMAN 6 Central Bengkulu aims to improve students' skills and knowledge in utilizing modern technology to deepen their understanding of physics concepts.Methods: This study used a quantitative approach through pre-test and post-test of 41 students in grades X and XI, with instruments in the form of multiple-choice questions to measure basic understanding of AI, ability to write prompts, understanding and visualization skills on physics concepts, and understanding the ethics of using AI in learning activities.Results: The results showed high enthusiasm and interest in AI-based learning, with all respondents expressing interest in this technology. After the training, there were improvements in the understanding of physics concepts through AI, the ability to write prompts, understanding and visualization skills using AI, and ethical knowledge in the use of AI in learning.Conclusion: The findings indicate that the integration of AI in physics learning not only increases the effectiveness and interactivity of the learning process, but also equips students with relevant 21st century competencies in the digital era.
