Abstract

ABSTRAK: Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan penerapan model pembelajaran kooperatif tipe NHT untuk meningkatkan hasil belajar siswa kelas VII A SMP Kristen Bala Keselamatan Palu pada materi irisan dan gabungan himpunan. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian tindakan kelas. Desain penelitian mengacu pada Kemmis dan Mc. Taggart: (1) perencanaan, (2) pelaksanaan, (3) observasi dan (4) refleksi. Subjek penelitian adalah siswa kelas VII A SMP Kristen Bala Keselamatan Palu yaitu 29 siswa. Penelitian ini dilakukan dalam dua siklus. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa penerapan model pembelajaran kooperatif tipe NHT dapat meningkatkan hasil belajar siswa kelas VII A SMP Kristen Bala Keselamatan Palu mengikuti langkah-langkah sebagai berikut: 1) Penyampaian tujuan pembelajaran, 2) menyajikan informasi, 3) penomoran, 4) pengajuan pertanyaan, 5) berpikir bersama, 6) pemberian jawaban/evaluasi dan 7) pemberian penghargaan, guru memberikan penghargaan kepada kelompok dalam bentuk tepuk tangan dan pujian. Kata Kunci: Model Pembelajaran, Kooperatif , NHT, Hasil Belajar, Irisan dan Gabungan Himpunan ABSTRACT: The purpose of the research was purposed to describe the application of NHT in cooperative learning model can improve learning outcomes of students of class VII A at SMP Kristen Bala Keselamatan Palu in intersection and union sets materials. This research was a classroom action research. This research design applied Kemmis and Mc. Taggart: (1) planning, (2) implementation, (3) observation and (4) reflection. The sample of this research were students of class VII A SMP Kristen Bala Keselamatan Palu. The number of the students were 29 students. This research was conduted in two cycles. The result showed that the implementation of NHT in cooperative learning model can improve learbing outcomes of students of class VII A at SMP Kristen Bala Keselamatan Paluwith the following steps: 1)conveying the learning objectives, 2)fiving information, 3)numbering, 4) asking questions, 5)think together, 6) giving the answer/evaluation, and 7) rewarding. Abstract

Abstrak: Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk memperoleh deskripsi penerapan model pembelajaran kooperatif tipe Two Stay Two Stray (TSTS) untuk meningkatan hasil belajar siswa dalam menyelesaikan sistem persamaan linear dua variabel (SPLDV) di kelas VIII SMP Negeri 2 Lore Tengah. Penelitian ini adalah penelitian tindakan kelas (PTK) yang mengacu pada desain penelitian Kemmis dan Mc. Taggart yakni (1) perencanaan, (2) pelaksanaan tindakan, (3) observasi dan (4) refleksi. Subjek penelitian ini sebanyak 32 siswa dan dipilih tiga orang siswa sebagai informan. Penelitian ini dilaksanakan dalam dua siklus. Hasil penelitian yang diperoleh menunjukkan bahwa dengan menerapkan model pembelajaran kooperatif tipe TSTS dapat meningkatkan hasil belajar siswa kelas VIII SMP Negeri 2 Lore Tengah pada materi SPLDV, dengan 6 fase pada TSTS: 1) menyampaikan tujuan dan memotivasi siswa, 2) menyajikan informasi berupa metode grafik, eliminasi dan substitusi dalam menyelesaikan SPLDV, siklus II menjelaskan metode campuran eliminasi dan substitusi, 3) Mengorganisasikan siswa kedalam kelompok kecil beranggotakan 4 siswa yang kemampuannya heterogen, dan membagikan LKS kepada setiap kelompok 4) Membimbing kelompok belajar, kemudian dua dari empat anggota dari masing-masing kelompok meninggalkan kelompoknya dan bertamu ke kelompok yang lain, sementara dua anggota yang tinggal dalam kelompok bertugas menyampaikan hasil kerja dan informasi mereka ke tamu. Kemudian tamu mohon diri dan kembali ke kelompok masing-masing dan melaporkan temuannya serta mencocokkan dengan hasil kerja mereka 5) Evaluasi pada fase ini 4 kelompok mempresentasikan hasil yang diperoleh dan kelompok lain menanggapi, 6) Pemberian penghargaan. Kata kunci: model pembelajaran kooperatif tipe TSTS; hasil belajar; sistem persamaan linear dua variabel. Abstract: This research aimed to describe of the application cooperative learning model type Two Stay Two Stray (TSTS) to improve student learning outcomes in solving system problem of two linear equations in class VIII SMP Negeri 2 Lore Tengah. This research was a classroom action research (PTK) which referred to Kemmis and Mc.Taggart research design that were (1) planning, (2) implementation of the action (3) observiation and (4) reflecting. The results showed that by applying cooperative learning model of TSTS type can improve student learning result of VIII class of SMP Negeri 2 Lore Tengah on SPLDV material, with 6 phases at TSTS: 1) convey the purpose and motivate students, 2) present information in the form of graphic method, elimination and substitution in completing the SPLDV, cycle II describes a mixed elimination and substitution method, 3) Organizing students into small groups of 4 students with heterogeneous ability, and distributing LKS to each group 4) Guiding the study group, then two of the four members of each the group leaves the group and visits the other group, while the two members who live in the group are assigned to deliver their work and information to the guests. Then the guests excuse themselves and return to their respective groups and report their findings and match them with their work 5) Evaluation in this phase 4 groups present the results obtained and other groups respond, 6) Award presentation Keywords: cooperative learning model TSTS, learning outcomes, system of two linear equations.

Abstract

The rapid integration of web-based platforms in higher education highlights the importance of usability and user experience in supporting students’ extracurricular activities. This study evaluates the usability and user experience of the Student Extracurricular Information System (SINEMA) developed at Tadulako University. A total of 99 respondents participated, selected from a population of 5,581 active users through Slovin’s formula. Two standardized instruments were applied: the System Usability Scale (SUS) to capture global usability perceptions and the User Experience Questionnaire (UEQ) to assess six dimensions of user experience. The SUS results indicate a mean score of 76.06, which falls within Grade B and the “Good” category, exceeding the global benchmark. This suggests that the system is generally usable, although certain respondents reported minor challenges requiring further improvement. The UEQ results show that Perspicuity (1.94), Dependability (1.94), and Stimulation (1.93) achieved the “Excellent” category, reflecting clarity, reliability, and engagement. Meanwhile, Attractiveness (1.65), Efficiency (1.58), and Novelty (1.72) were rated “Good,” highlighting positive perceptions but also opportunities for optimization. Overall, the findings demonstrate that SINEMA effectively supports extracurricular management with satisfactory usability and strong user experience. The study contributes novelty by integrating SUS and UEQ for comprehensive evaluation within a higher education extracurricular context. Recommendations include enhancing efficiency and novelty to elevate user satisfaction and system adoption.

Abstract

This article analyzes the validity of realistic mathematics education-based students’ worksheet. The research design used in this article is Research and Development (R&D) with a 4D development model, which is to define, design, development, and disseminate. The research subject involved 23 students from class IV. The analysis process involved three validators that consisted of two expert validators and one validator practitioner. To analyze the feasibility of students’ worksheets based on realistic mathematics education, it was used questionnaire. Based on the validity analysis, based on data instrument tested by expert and practitioner tests either in terms of design or material, it showed that students’ worksheets based on Realistic Mathematics Education were assessed with an average score of 4.3. Thus, it could be concluded that the students’ worksheets based on Realistic Mathematics Education were valid to use in learning.

Abstract

The development of Artificial Intelligence (AI) technology opens up significant opportunities for improving the quality of mathematics learning. However, many high school mathematics teachers are still unfamiliar with the use of AI, particularly the use of the Python programming language as a learning support medium. This community service activity aims to improve the knowledge, understanding, and skills of high school Mathematics MGMP teachers in utilizing Python-based AI technology in the learning process. The implementation method includes a preparatory stage in the form of coordination with partners, observation, and interviews to identify teacher needs, and an implementation stage consisting of two training sessions. The first training phase focused on providing conceptual material regarding AI applications in learning, while the second training phase included practical assistance in creating AI-based learning media using Python. The results of the activity showed an increase in teachers' understanding of AI concepts and practical skills in using Python to develop simple interactive quizzes in mathematics learning. Furthermore, participants demonstrated active and collaborative participation throughout the activity. Thus, this community service activity contributed to improving teachers' technological literacy and encouraging innovation in more interactive mathematics learning. It is recommended that similar activities be carried out continuously with a broader scope of material to optimize the use of AI in learning

Abstract

This study aims to analyse the effect of the fiber weight fraction of oil palm empty bunch fiber (OPEBF) composite with HDPE matix on tensile strength and impact. The composite fabrication process is performed using the hot compression method for 210oC with a weight fraction of 40, 50, and 60% fiber. The results showed that the highest tensile strength of the composite fraction of 40% fiber was 3.461 MPa and its modulus of elasticity was 97.702 MPa, followed by the fraction of 50% fiber with a value of 2.948 MPa, the modulus of elasticity was 88.544 MPa, and the lowest value was in the fraction of 60% fiber with a value of 2.205 MPa, and the modulus of elasticity was 87.622 MPa. Furthermore, the highest effort in the impact test on the weight fraction of 40% fiber is 4,249 Joules and an impact energy value of 8364,744 Joules/mm2, followed by a weight fraction of 50% fiber with an effort value to break the specimen of 3,935 Joules and an impact energy value of 7745,651 Joules/mm2, and the lowest attempt to break the specimen at the weight fraction of 60% fiber has a value of 3,341 Joules and has an impact energy of 6576,934 Joules/mm2.
