Abstract

Employee productivity is a crucial element in determining the operational success of a company, which is influenced by internal factors such as technical skills and working conditions. The purpose of this study is to examine the extent to which technical skills contribute to increasing employee productivity at PT Sumber Bara Abadi, considering the role of the work environment as a mediating variable. The research approach is quantitative, using the Structural Equation Modeling (SEM) method with the Partial Least Squares (PLS) technique. The population in this study includes all 70 permanent employees of the company, where the entire population was used as the sample through a census technique due to its limited size. Data collection was conducted using a questionnaire designed to assess aspects of technical skills, work environment, and productivity levels. The analysis results indicate that technical skills have a positive and significant influence on productivity, as well as on the work environment. Additionally, the work environment was also found to have a significant impact on employee productivity. Other findings confirm that technical skills indirectly influence productivity through the mediation of the work environment. Based on these results, it is recommended that the company develop a technical skills training program integrated with a strategy for creating a conducive work environment to promote optimal and sustainable productivity.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the influence of workload and work stress on the performance of the Traffic Unit members of the Samarinda City Police Resort. The method used is a quantitative survey by distributing questionnaires to 129 traffic unit members selected from a population of 190 members using the Slovin formula. Data analysis was conducted using SPSS for validity, reliability, and multiple linear regression tests. The results of the study indicate that workload and work stress have a significant impact on the performance of police officers. Well-managed workload and effectively addressed work stress can enhance the performance of the members. The implications of this study emphasize the importance of workload and stress management programs, time management training, and a supportive work environment to improve the performance and well-being of police officers.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis pengaruh work life balance terhadap kinerja karyawan PT. Pelindo (Persero) Cabang Samarinda, dengan etos kerja sebagai mediator. Work life balance berperan krusial guna mendorong kesejahteraan dan produktivitas, sedangkan etos kerja mencerminkan dedikasi dan integritas dalam bekerja. Studi ini menerapkan pendekatan kuantitatif dengan metode survei eksplanatif dan teknik analisis PLS-SEM melalui SmartPLS 3. Dengan melibatkan seluruh karyawan PT. Pelindo Samarinda sebanyak 62 orang sebagai responden melalui metode sensus. Hasil penelitian mengindikasikan bahwa work life balance memiliki dampak positif dan signifikan terhadap etos kerja dan kinerja karyawan. Selain itu, etos kerja turut memberikan dampak signifikan terhadap kinerja dan berperan sebagai mediator dalam hubungan antara work life balance dengan kinerja karyawan. Temuan ini menekankan pentingnya menjaga keseimbangan kerja dan kehidupan pribadi serta membangun etos kerja untuk meningkatkan kinerja secara berkelanjutan.

Abstract

Penelitian ini untuk mengetahui dan menganalisis pengaruh budaya kerja terhadap kinerja pegawai di Dinas Pemuda dan Olahraga (Dispora) Provinsi Kalimantan Timur. Kinerja karyawan merupakan kunci keberhasilan organisasi, namun sering terhambat oleh budaya kerja yang kurang optimal, seperti minimnya nilai organisasi, kerja sama tim, dan norma kerja. Pendekatan kuantitatif digunakan dengan analisis regresi linier sederhana. Data dikumpulkan dari 83 karyawan ASN melalui kuesioner dengan teknik sampling jenuh. Hasil menunjukkan budaya kerja berpengaruh signifikan terhadap kinerja karyawan. Penguatan kerja sama tim dan nilai organisasi direkomendasikan untuk meningkatkan efisiensi pelayanan publik.

Abstract

Data collection was conducted using a questionnaire designed to assess aspects of technical skills, work environment, and employee productivity levels. The analysis results indicate that technical skills have a positive and significant influence on productivity, and technical skills also have a positive and significant influence on the work environment. Additionally, the work environment is also proven to have a positive and significant influence on employee productivity. Other findings confirm that technical skills influence employee productivity through the work environment. Based on these results, it is recommended that companies develop technical skills training programs integrated with strategies for creating a conducive work environment to promote optimal and sustainable productivity.
