Abstract

Pelaksanaan Pendidikan dilakukan secara menyeluruh dalam mengembangkan kognitif dan kepribadian anak. Sekolah dasar sebagai lembaga pendidikan awal memiliki peran strategis dalam menanamkan nilai-nilai karakter dan budaya unggulan kepada anak-anak. Implementasi program sekolah yang berfokus pada pengembangan karakter dan budaya unggulan menjadi sangat penting, terutama di SD Negeri Ngagelrejo I/396. Program sekolah yang efektif tidak hanya berorientasi pada pencapaian akademis, tetapi juga pada pembentukan karakter yang baik, seperti disiplin, tanggung jawab, dan empati.Penelitian ini dilaksanakan dengan menggunakan metode kualitatif. Metode ini dilakukan pada kondisi yang alamiah (natural setting). Program-program ini juga bertujuan untuk meningkatkan kemampuan dan hasil belajar peserta didik, serta memberikan mereka ruang untuk mengekspresikan bakat dan minat melalui berbagai kegiatan ekstrakurikuler. Implementasi program sekolah di SD Negeri Ngagelrejo I/396 Surabaya telah berhasil dalam mewujudkan peserta didik yang berkarakter dan berbudaya unggulan Oleh karena itu, implementasi program sekolah ini dapat dijadikan sebagai contoh bagi sekolah-sekolah lain dalam mewujudkan peserta didik yang berkarakter dan berbudaya unggulan.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the improvement of student learning outcomes through the implementation of the Problem Based Learning (PBL) learning model on the material of Indonesian ecology and biodiversity in class VII of SMPN 1 Plered. The method used is classroom action research (CAR) on class VII E students totaling 35 students who were given treatment using the Problem Based Learning (PBL) learning model. The instrument used was multiple choice questions. Data collection techniques using tests. Data analysis was carried out by comparing the average posttest scores in cycle I and cycle II. Based on the analysis of data obtained in cycle I, students got an average score of 83.71, then in cycle II students got an average score of 84.57. The results of the study indicate that the application of the Problem Based Learning (PBL) learning model can improve the learning outcomes of class VII students of SMPN 1 Plered on the material of Indonesian ecology and biodiversity.

Abstract

This study aims to improve student learning outcomes through the application of the cooperative learning model ti[e make a match on Ecology and Biodiversity material for class VII. The research method is classroom action research (CAR), and the location of the research was conducted at SMPN 1 Plered with a total of 34 students as research subjects. Data collection techniques using tests. The test aims to obtain student learning outcomes carried out during the pre-cycle, cycle I and cycle II. The instruments used are multiple choice questions. Based on the analysis of data obtained in cycle I, students got an average of 56% and cycle II got an average score of 88%. With the results obtained, the application of the Make a Match type Cooperative learning model can improve learning outcomes. Because students are actively involved in learning, this can be seen in each cycle that experiences an increase, this shows that the Make a Match type Cooperative learning model on ecology and biodiversity material can improve learning outcomes.

Abstract

This study aims to examine the improvement of students’ learning outcomes through the implementation of Teaching at The Right Level (TaRL) approach in the topic of Ecology and Biodiversity of Indonesia for Grade VII students at SMPN 1 Plered. The research method used was classroom action research (CAR) involving 22 students from class VII G who received treatment using Teaching at The Right Level (TaRL) approach. The data generated in this study are in the form of observational data on the implementation of students’ activities as well as learning outcome data obtained. The research instrument consisted of multiple-choice test questions. A descriptive quantitative approach was employed to analyze the data by comparing the average post test scores form Cycle I and Cycle II. The results indicated that the implementation of Teaching at The Right Level (TaRL) approach can improve the learning outcomes of Grade VII students at SMPN 1 Plered in the topic of Ecology and Biodiversity of Indonesia. The initial completion rates of 18,2% in the pre-cycle rose to 54,5% in Cycle I and peaked at 72,7% in Cycle II.

Abstract

This research aims to improve student learning outcomes through the application of the problem based learning model in class VII Ecology and Biodiversity material. The research methods are classroom action research (PTK), and location. The research was conducted at SMPN 1 Plered with a total of 33 students as research subjects. Data collection techniques using tests. The test aims to obtain student learning outcomes carried out during the pre-cycle, cycle I and cycle II. The instrument used is multiple choice questions. Based on analysis data obtained in the first cycle of students get an average score of 70%, then in cycle II students get an average score of 85%. Through the results obtained, the application of the Problem Based Learning learning model is effective in improving student learning outcomes. Implementing learning using the Problem Based Learning (PBL) learning model is very helpful in improving student learning outcomes, shown by the increase in average scores in each cycle.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the improvement of science learning outcomes through the application of the Team Games Tournament (TGT) learning model assisted by Genially media on the material of ecology and biodiversity of Indonesia at SMPN 1 Plered. This type of research is a classroom action research (CAR) which is carried out in two cycles with two meetings each, the subjects studied are students of class VII of SMPN 1 Plered with a total of 26 students. This study uses data collection techniques in the form of tests as a way to collect data on student learning outcomes in the cognitive aspect. The data analysis technique in this study is to find the average value, Standard Deviation (SD), Absorption Power (DS), and Classical Learning Completeness (KB). The data obtained are analyzed using descriptive techniques to describe the level of student learning achievement. The results of this study indicate that the increase in learning outcomes has increased significantly, with the average value increasing from 68.23 to 86.12 and classical completeness increasing from 38% to 88%. These findings indicate that the implementation of the TGT model assisted by Genially media is able to improve student learning outcomes effectively and foster an attitude of cooperation/mutual assistance and student responsibility. So it is recommended to use a cooperative learning approach and adaptive technology in order to create an active, meaningful, and enjoyable learning process.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan pelaksanaan pelatihan penggunaan simulasi virtual PhET dan dampaknya terhadap peningkatan kompetensi guru IPA di SMPN 1 Plered. Metode yang digunakan adalah deskriptif kualitatif dengan teknik pengumpulan data melalui observasi, wawancara, dan dokumentasi. Sebanyak 15 guru berpartisipasi dalam pelatihan. Hasil menunjukkan bahwa pelatihan membantu guru memahami cara menggunakan PhET Simulation dan mengintegrasikannya dalam pembelajaran IPA secara interaktif. Guru mampu merancang kegiatan pembelajaran berbasis eksperimen virtual dan lebih percaya diri dalam menyampaikan konsep-konsep abstrak. Selain itu, penggunaan simulasi PhET dinilai efektif meningkatkan keterlibatan dan pemahaman peserta didik. Meskipun masih terdapat kendala seperti keterbatasan perangkat dan akses teknologi, pelatihan ini terbukti memberi dampak positif terhadap kesiapan guru dalam memanfaatkan media digital. Simulasi PhET menjadi solusi alternatif untuk keterbatasan laboratorium dan meningkatkan kualitas pembelajaran IPA.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan mengembangkan media pembelajaran Smart Box untuk meningkatkan keaktifan siswa pada mata pelajaran Ilmu Pengetahuan Sosial (IPS) materi Tradisi dan Budaya di kelas III SDN 1 Lemahabang. Metode yang digunakan adalah penelitian dan pengembangan (R&D) dengan model Borg & Gall yang disederhanakan menjadi enam tahap: identifikasi potensi dan masalah, pengumpulan data, desain produk, validasi desain, revisi produk, dan uji coba lapangan. Data diperoleh melalui observasi, wawancara, studi literatur, serta angket validasi dan respon siswa. Validasi oleh dua ahli media dan dua ahli materi menunjukkan tingkat kevalidan masing-masing 98% dan 98,21%, termasuk dalam kategori sangat valid. Respon siswa terhadap media menunjukkan tingkat kemenarikan sebesar 95,83% (sangat menarik), sedangkan keefektifan media mencapai 88,8% dalam kategori sangat efektif. Smart Box dirancang sebagai media interaktif berbentuk kotak tiga dimensi yang dilengkapi dengan gambar budaya, spinwheel, dan permainan edukatif. Hasil penelitian menyimpulkan bahwa Smart Box merupakan media yang valid, menarik, dan efektif untuk meningkatkan keaktifan siswa dalam pembelajaran IPS pada materi Tradisi dan Budaya.

Abstract

Reading literacy is a fundamental competency that supports students’ success in elementary education. Nevertheless, international studies such as PISA and PIRLS consistently report that Indonesian students’ reading literacy levels are still low. This condition highlights the need for innovative learning models that connect material with students’ real-life contexts, making the learning process more meaningful. One suitable approach is the Contextual Teaching and Learning (CTL) model. This study aimed to examine the effect of implementing the CTL model, supported by the Enuma School application, on the reading literacy skills of fifth-grade students at State Elementary School 1 Arjawinangun. The research employed a quantitative approach with a One Group Pretest-Posttest design involving 39 students. Instruments included a reading literacy test, observation sheets, and student questionnaires. Data were analyzed through validity and reliability testing, paired-sample t-tests, and effect size calculations. The findings revealed a significant improvement in students’ reading literacy after the implementation of CTL. Posttest scores were notably higher than pretest scores, with a large effect size. Observation and questionnaire results also indicated that students became more engaged, motivated, and showed positive attitudes toward reading. Thus, the CTL model, supported by digital applications, proves effective in enhancing elementary students’ reading literacy.
