Abstract

This study aims to develop a guidance and counseling program at SDN 1 Kenanga Kec. Sumber to improve students' social skills. The background of this study stems from the growing concern about students' social skills in primary schools, particularly in SDN 1 Kenanga sub-district Sumber. These imperfections can have a significant impact on students' ability to succeed academically and socially, both in and out of school. This study used qualitative research methods to create an effective program for guidance and counseling services that can be implemented at SDN 1 Kenanga sub-district Sumber, with the ultimate goal of improving students' social skills. The main objective of this research is to design the development of an effective guidance and counseling service program. The results of this program design are the development of a service program that includes network development, development of guidance and counseling management activities, service development, and development of service types as well as design and action plans that include identification, time management, inventory of needs and types of services, implementation, reflection, and program evaluation. This program is expected to improve students' social skills at SDN 1 Kenanga sub-district Sumber.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the effect of the Picture and Picture cooperative learning model on IPAS cognitive learning outcomes and to describe the affective responses of fifth-grade students at SDN Pegambiran 1 on the history of the Indonesian nation's struggle. This study used a quantitative approach with a pre-experimental method (One-Group Pretest-Posttest Design). The research population consisted of 27 fifth-grade students at SDN Pegambiran 1, with a total sampling technique. Data collection techniques used 15 multiple-choice test items to measure cognitive learning outcomes and a 15-item questionnaire to measure affective responses. The results showed a significant increase in cognitive learning outcomes, where the average pretest score of 60.19 increased to 79.26 on the posttest, and classical completeness rose from 18.52% to 85.19%. Furthermore, the students' affective responses to the implementation of the Picture and Picture model obtained an average percentage of 81.02%, which falls under the "Very Positive" category across the dimensions of interest, attention, participation, and ease. Therefore, it can be concluded that the implementation of the Picture and Picture cooperative learning model has a positive and significant effect on IPAS learning outcomes and generates a highly positive affective response from fifth-grade students.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the effect of Pop-Up Book media assisted by Wordwall on the learning outcomes of fifth-grade students of SDN 2 Sumber. This study uses a quantitative approach with a pre-experimental design of one group pretest-posttest type. The research sample consisted of 18 fifth-grade students. Data collection techniques used observation and multiple-choice tests of 20 questions given in the form of pretest and posttest. Data analysis includes descriptive statistics, normality tests, paired sample t-tests, simple linear regression, and N-Gain. The results showed that the average pretest score was 53.33, while the average posttest score increased to 80.28. The results of the normality test showed that the data were normally distributed with a pretest significance value of 0.083 and a posttest of 0.168. The results of the paired sample t-test obtained a significance value of 0.000 <0.05, so there was a significant difference between learning outcomes before and after the use of the media. The results of simple linear regression showed an R value of 0.865 and an R Square of 0.748. This means that the use of Pop-Up Book media assisted by Wordwall contributed 74.8% to the variation of student learning outcomes, while 25.2% was influenced by other factors. The N-Gain value of 0.6722 is included in the moderate category. Thus, Pop-Up Book media assisted by Wordwall had a positive and significant effect on the science learning outcomes of fifth-grade students at SDN 2 Sumber.
