Abstract

In psycholinguistic studies, there is discussion regarding verbal expression disorders, a person's inability to use language to express their feelings. This research aims to analyze and describe forms of verbal expression disorders in utterances from people with Autism, such as the character Moon Sang Tae in the Korean drama It's Okay Not to Be Okay. For this purpose, researchers used descriptive qualitative research. The data analyzed comes from two sources, namely primary data sources in the form of utterances of the character Moon Sang Tae from the Korean drama It's Okay to Not Be Okay and secondary data sources in the form of scientific journals, proceedings, articles and books related to relevant psycholinguistics. With the research topic raised. Data was collected by listening to the drama and noting essential things related to verbal expression disorders. The results of language disorders due to the autism spectrum experienced by the character Moon Sang Tae in the Korean drama Its Okat to Not Be Okay are 183 data, divided into 50 data on social interaction disorders, 62 data on communication disorders and 71 data on behavioural pattern disorders.

Abstract

Microteaching learning helps prospective teacher students hone their teaching skills before starting to work in real classrooms. Guided practice involves feedback and guidance from the supervising lecturer to support students' teaching practices. This research aims to describe the improvement of basic teaching skills through guided practice in microteaching learning. The method used is quantitative descriptive. The research subjects involve 13 students from the Indonesian Language and Literature Education Program. Data collection was conducted during microteaching sessions through direct observation by filling out instruments assessing basic teaching skill mastery. Data analysis techniques include several steps: (1) describing the data as a whole, (2) recording observation data in tables, (3) calculating values using the average and percentage formulas, (4) comparing the results with mastery level calculations, (5) interpretation and drawing conclusions. The research results conclude that the mastery level of basic teaching skills through guided practice in microteaching learning: the first teaching practice with an average score of 63.80 is at a good mastery level, the second teaching practice with an average score of 77.22 is at a good mastery level, and the third teaching practice with an average score of 84.77 is at a very good mastery level. The improvement in students' basic teaching skills through guided practice in microteaching learning from the first to the second teaching practice increased by 21.03%, the improvement from the second to the third teaching practice increased by 8.45%, and the overall improvement from the first to the third teaching practice increased by 31.26%."

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan kemampuan menulis puisi dengan tema lingkungan pada siswa kelas VIII SMP Negeri 13 Kota Bengkulu. Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah deskriptif kuantitatif. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian dan pembahasan menunjukkan bahwa kemampuan menulis puisi dengan tema lingkungan pada siswa kelas VIII SMP Negeri 13 Kota Bengkulu tergolong pada kategori baik dengan nilai rata-rata skor 73. Artinya siswa telah mampu menulis puisi dengan tema lingkungan namun, harus lebih ditingkatkan lagi agar tercapainya hasil yang maksimal. Pada aspek penilaian isi puisi ditemukan bahwa siswa telah mampu mengembangkan tema lingkungan. Skor rata-rata yang diperoleh siswa untuk aspek isi adalah 21,17 dari skor maksimal 30. Pada aspek diksi siswa menggunakan kata-kata yang berhubungan dan bermakna lingkungan dengan perolehan skor rata-rata 15,76 dari skor maksimal 20. Pada aspek imaji siswa telah mampu mengungkapkan lebih dari satu imaji dalam penulisan puisi. Skor rata-rata yang diperoleh siswa adalah 14,5 dari skor maksimal 20. Pada aspek gaya bahasa ditemukannya gaya bahasa metafora, perbandingan dan perumpamaan yang dominan digunakan oleh siswa. Siswa memperoleh skor rata-rata 14,82 dari skor maksimal 20. Pada aspek rima dan ritma siswa masih perlu latihan untuk pengaturan rima/ritma. Skor rata-rata aspek rima/ritma adalah 6,6 dari skor maksimal 10. Kata Kunci: Kemampuan menulis, Puisi, Lingkungan

Abstract

Menulis sangat penting bagi siswa karena memudahkan siswa untuk berfikir, keterampilan menulis juga merupakan salah satu keterampilan berbahasa yang menjadi tujuan setiap pembelajaran bahasa di sekolah. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui kemampuan menulis cerpen siswa kelas IX G SMP Negeri 2 kota bengkulu tahun ajaran 2022, adapun aspek yang dinilai yaitu unsur intrinsik yang ada dalam cerpen yaitu tema, tokoh dan penokohan, latar, gaya bahasa, alur, sudut pandang dan amanat. Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah penelitian deskriptif kualitatif. Populasi dan sampel dalam penelitian ini adalah siswa kelas IX G yang berjumlah 25 siswa. Teknik pengumpulan data yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah teknik tes atau penugasan dan teknik dokumentasi. Berdasarkan hasil dan pembahasan menunjukan siswa kelas IX G kemampuan menulis berdasarkan unsur intrinsik dan hasil penilaian yang didapatkan berada pada bobot 80-100. Di dalam cerpen yang telah ditulis terdapat unsur intrinsik cerpen yaitu tema, tokoh dan penokohan, latar, gaya bahasa, alur, sudut pandang dan amanat.  Dari data tersebut pemerolehan nilai paling tinggi dengan nilai perolehan 90, 87, 85, 80 yaitu 13 (52%) siswa dengan kategori sangat mampu. Siswa memperoleh nilai 79, 78, 76, 75 berjumlah 12 siswa (48%) dengan kategori mampu. Kata Kunci: Kemampuan Menulis, Cerpen Siswa, SMP Negeri 2 Kota Bengkulu

Abstract

The problem in this study is how the preservation of Sundanese language is reviewed from the family realm in Paguyuban Pasundan, Bengkulu City and what are the efforts to preserve Sundanese language in Paguyuban Pasundan, Bengkulu City. The purpose of this study is: to describe the preservation of Sundanese language reviewed from the family realm in Paguyuban Pasundan, Bengkulu City and to describe the efforts to preserve Sundanese language in Paguyuban Pasundan, Bengkulu City. The benefits of the research are divided into three, namely the benefits for researchers, namely the results of this study are expected to be a vehicle and enrich knowledge about language maintenance, especially Sundanese in the Paguyuban Pasundan, Bengkulu City, the benefits for the community, especially Sundanese people in the Paguyuban Pasundan, Bengkulu City, this research is expected to provide a contribution as an appreciation of cultural preservation, and for the local government, this research is expected to be used as input to mutually support the culture of immigrant communities in maintaining their culture. The data in this study are in the form of conversations between members of the Paguyuban Pasundan, Bengkulu City in the family realm and data from interviews with family members in the Paguyuban Pasundan, Bengkulu City. The data collection techniques for this study are note-taking techniques, recording techniques, listening techniques, observation, and interviews. The results of this study are that in the family realm in the Paguyuban Pasundan, Bengkulu City, they still maintain Sundanese even though they have lived in Bengkulu City for a long time, by trying to use Sundanese in everyday language.

Abstract

This study delves into the intricate semantic nuances of adjectives within the Bengkulu Malay Language (bMB), positing that they function beyond simple denotative descriptions to profoundly reflect speakers’ attitudes, emotions, and ingrained cultural identity. Recognizing the critical role of semantics in analyzing the distinctions between literal and connotative meanings, the research employed a rigorous qualitative descriptive methodology. Data were meticulously extracted from written bMB texts, specifically drawing its primary data from the comprehensive book “Pernak-pernik Bahaso Kito Bengkulu”. The analysis is conducted using distributional techniques to analyze the context of the sentences. The investigation successfully identified and classified 166 unique adjectives, categorizing them into three significant dimensions of meaning nuances: 56 adjectives exhibiting emotional nuances, 55 reflecting social nuances, and another 55 imbued with cultural nuances. This detailed classification underscores that bMB adjectives are not merely linguistic labels but critical linguistic tools that embody the community’s local wisdom, communal values, and the deep, symbiotic relationship between language and culture. The findings carry substantial implications, contributing significantly to linguistic and semantic theory by providing empirical evidence for the rich connotative potential of regional languages. This research underscores the crucial role of semantic analysis in understanding and preserving the Bengkulu Malay language, a vital component of Indonesia’s rich linguistic and cultural heritage, and advocates for its continued study and preservation.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis efektivitas metode diskusi dalam proses pembelajaran bahasa Indonesia terhadap peningkatan kemampuan berbicara siswa kelas VIII SMP Negeri 22 Kota Bengkulu. Latar belakang penelitian ini berangkat dari rendahnya kemampuan berbicara siswa yang dipengaruhi oleh kurangnya penerapan metode pembelajaran yang interaktif. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan pre-eksperimental dengan desain one-group pretest-posttest. Teknik pengumpulan data dilakukan melalui tes lisan sebelum dan sesudah pemberian perlakuan. Data yang diperoleh dianalisis menggunakan uji Paired Sample t-Test. Hasil analisis menunjukkan adanya perbedaan signifikan antara skor pretest dan posttest. Rata-rata nilai pretest sebesar 71,94 meningkat menjadi 87,71 setelah perlakuan. Nilai signifikansi sebesar 0,000 (< 0,05) mengindikasikan bahwa metode diskusi memiliki pengaruh yang signifikan terhadap peningkatan kemampuan berbicara siswa. Oleh karena itu, metode diskusi dapat dijadikan sebagai alternatif strategi pembelajaran yang efektif dalam meningkatkan keterampilan berbicara. Penelitian ini memberikan kontribusi dalam mengembangkan pendekatan pembelajaran bahasa Indonesia yang bersifat interaktif dan partisipatif.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the use of interactive learning methods in improving learning achievement of grade 3 students of SDN 67 Bengkulu City by using the perspective of DeVito's interpersonal communication theory as the basis of analysis. The theory used is DeVito's interpersonal communication theory which includes five main principles namely openness, empathy, equality, support, and positive attitude as a framework to assess the effectiveness of communication in interactive learning. The research method used a qualitative approach involving a grade 3 teacher (Mrs. Rumlah, S.Pd) and 31 grade 3 students (16 boys and 15 girls) aged 8 to 9 years old as participants. Data collection was conducted through direct observation of the implementation of interactive learning and analysis of changes in communication patterns in the learning process. The results showed that the implementation of interactive learning methods with DeVito's principles resulted in significant changes from teacher-centered communication patterns to student-centered communication patterns. The principle of openness can be seen from the increasing frequency of students asking questions spontaneously and the courage of students to convey difficulties in learning, which ultimately contributes to improving student learning achievement.

Abstract

The purpose of this study is to describe the improvement of students’ learning process and outcomes through the use of the Learning Cycle model. The subjects of this research are the students of class IX A at SMP N 22 Rejang Lebong, consisting of 32 students. The research was conducted at SMP N 22 Rejang Lebong in February 2025. The data collection technique used in this study is a performance test, which aims to measure the skills, knowledge, and abilities possessed by individuals or groups related to speaking activities. The instruments used in this study consist of teacher and student observation sheets. The data analysis technique employed in this research is descriptive data analysis. Abstrak Tujuan dalam penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan peningkatan proses dan hasil belajar siswa dengan model pembelajaran learning cycle. Subjek Penelitian ini adalah siswa kelas kelas IX A SMP N 22 Rejang Lebong dengan jumlah siswa 32 orang. Tempat penelitian ini dilaksanakan di sekolah SMP N 22 Rejang Lebong. waktu penelitian dilaksanakan pada bulan februari 2025. Teknik pengumpulan data pada penelitian ini berupa tes unjuk kerja yang digunakan untuk mengukur keterampilan, pengetahuan, kemampuan bakat yang dimiliki oleh individu atau kelompok tentang kegiatan berbicara. Instrumen dalam penelitian ini terdiri dari lembar observasi guru dan siswa. Teknik analisis data yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah teknik analisis data deskriptif .

Abstract

This study aims to improve the Indonesian language learning outcomes of first-grade students at MIN 7 Seluma through the use of digital-based learning media. The background of this research is the low student achievement caused by conventional learning methods that are less engaging. This research employs a Classroom Action Research (CAR) approach conducted in two cycles, consisting of planning, action, observation, and reflection stages. The subjects of this study were 24 first-grade students of MIN 7 Seluma. Data were collected through observation, interviews, written tests (pretest and posttest), and documentation. The data were analyzed using descriptive qualitative and quantitative methods by comparing the results of the pre-cycle, cycle I, and cycle II. The findings show an improvement in students’ average scores from 55.4 in the pre-cycle to 78.5 in cycle I, and further increased to 85.4 in cycle II. Students’ activeness also improved in each cycle, as indicated by higher enthusiasm, focus, and participation in learning activities. Therefore, the use of digital-based learning media is proven to be effective in improving Indonesian language learning outcomes among first-grade students at MIN 7 Seluma.
