Abstract

Micro, Small, and Medium Enterprises (MSMEs) play a crucial role in Indonesia's economy, particularly in job creation and contributing to the Gross Domestic Product (GDP). One of the leading MSMEs in the culinary field is Bakso Bu Mur. However, it faces financial issues, limited digital marketing, and poor relations with the local community. A community service program conducted by STIE Mahardhika Surabaya aims to address these issues through training and assistance in business management, digital marketing, and community empowerment. This study employs a qualitative descriptive method with a case study approach to analyze the implementation and impact of the community service program on the development of Bakso Bu Mur MSME. Data were collected through in-depth interviews, observation, questionnaires, and documentation. The findings indicate that the program successfully enhanced financial management skills and operational efficiency at Bakso Bu Mur. Digital marketing training improved product visibility and sales through social media and e-commerce platforms. Additionally, local community empowerment strengthened the relationship between the MSME and the surrounding community, fostering a more sustainable business ecosystem. In conclusion, the community service program implemented by STIE Mahardhika Surabaya has had a significant positive impact on the development of Bakso Bu Mur MSME. This program demonstrates that collaboration between higher education institutions and MSMEs can benefit the local economy. This approach can be adopted to support culinary MSMEs across Indonesia.

Abstract

Environmental awareness is one of the main challenges in creating a sustainable society. In Mangunharjo Village, low awareness of the importance of environmental conservation prompted a greening movement based on youth collaboration. This program aims to increase participation and environmental awareness through education, greening actions, and sustainable plant management. The methods used include environmental awareness training, joint tree planting, and assistance in plant maintenance. The results of the program showed an increase in youth understanding of environmental issues and increased active participation in greening activities. In addition, a synergy was created between the youth and the community in maintaining and caring for the village environment. This program has a positive impact by creating a greener environment and strengthening environmental awareness among the youth of Mangunharjo Village.

Abstract

The creative economy has become an important driver in the development of the industrial sector in various countries, including Indonesia. One of the prominent areas in the creative economy is the fashion industry, exploring and innovating textile waste production through the utilization of scrap fabrics. This study explores creative economic innovation in the sustainable fashion industry through the utilization of scrap fabrics. This paper focuses on efforts to reduce textile waste by reusing waste production materials into high-value fashion products (Gardetti, MA, & Torres, AL, 2013). The results of the study indicate that the utilization of scrap fabrics can reduce environmental impacts, increase production efficiency, and make a significant contribution to the growth of the sustainable fashion industry. In addition, this innovation also plays an important role in encouraging consumer awareness of the importance of environmentally friendly fashion (Fletcher, 2008). but also as an innovative strategy in the creative economy that is able to create new economic value. Thus, this study contributes to the literature on the creative economy and sustainable fashion and provides practical recommendations for industry players to adopt similar practices. It is hoped that the results of this study can encourage more innovation in the utilization of waste materials and support the development of a more sustainable fashion industry in the future

Abstract

Small and Medium Enterprises (SMEs) face a growing number of difficult business variables in the fast-paced globalization period, particularly in the face of intense competition and shifting consumer behavior brought on by technological improvements. The MAY refillable drinking water depot, situated in Surabaya, is one SME that has experienced a substantial decline in sales as a result of this rivalry. This article examines MAY Depot's marketing approach, which made use of the 7P marketing mix, SWOT analysis, and the creation of a Business Model Canvas (BMC) to identify creative solutions. This study employs a qualitative descriptive methodology to offer comprehensive insights into MAY Depot's market prospects and business issues. The end objective is to enhance the company's sustainability and competitiveness. It is anticipated that the research's conclusions will offer useful advice to companies in comparable circumstances. Abstract

Dinas Perpustakaan dan Kearsipan Kota Mojokerto menjadi pusat penyedia layanan yang memberikan akses pengetahuan masyarakat, selain buku dan kearsipan. Salah satunya pelatihan Entrepreneurship Class: DIY Hantaran Pernikahan sebagai pengabdian masyarakat bekerja sama dengan STIE Mahardhika Surabaya. Hantaran pernikahan merupakan pelestarian adat budaya, bermanfaat sebagai peluang usaha jika dikembangkan profesional, serta dapat menjadi sumber penghasilan. Pelatihan diselenggarakan 1 sesi pertemuan, dimulai pemberian materi kewirausahaan, dilanjutkan demonstrasi pembuatan kreasi hantaran. Alat dan bahan disediakan oleh panitia. Prosedur pelatihan diawali perencanaan, programing, actuating dan evaluating keseluruhan pelatihan melalui lembar feedback kuisioner https://bit.ly/Feedback_DIYHantaran yang disebar melalui group WA oleh panitia. Kepuasan keseluruhan sesi 85% Sangat Puas dan 15% Puas. Keseluruhan sesi kategori “Sangat Baik” dengan respon 85% tertarik keseluruhan aspek pelatihan sisanya 10% tertarik proses pembelajaran. 100% respon minat mengikuti pelatihan kategori “Sangat Baik”. Sedangkan 100% respon akan mengikuti pelatihan lanjutan serta adanya rekomendasi ide pelatihan lanjutan. Kegiatan ini diharapkan mampu melatih soft skill atau keahlian untuk mahasiswa, ibu rumah tangga, dan juga kalangan umum. Untuk peningkatan pengembangan sumber daya manusia di Dinas Perpustakaan Dan Kearsipan Kota Mojokerto yakni memperluas kerja sama dengan Perpustakaan Nasional, serta membuka Kerjasama yang lebih luas lagi dengan OPD-OPD di lingkungan Pemerintah Kota Mojokerto

Abstract

Peningkatan partisipasi ekonomi perempuan merupakan prioritas dalam Rencana Pembangunan Jangka Panjang Nasional (RPJPN) 2025–2045. Salah satu pendekatan strategisnya adalah pemberdayaan melalui kewirausahaan berbasis potensi lokal. Program “Kreatif & Mandiri: Meningkatkan Penghasilan Perempuan Berdaya Lewat Usaha Crispy Banana Katz” dirancang sebagai bentuk sinergi antara akademisi STIE Mahardhika Surabaya dan Dinas Perpustakaan Kota Mojokerto dalam mendukung Transformasi Perpustakaan Berbasis Inklusi Sosial (TPBIS). Metode yang digunakan dalam pelaksanaan kegiatan ini adalah Partisipatory Action Research (PAR), yang meliputi langkah-langkah identifikasi masalah, analisis mendalam, perencanaan, pelaksanaan, dan evaluasi. Pelatihan dilaksanakan melalui ceramah, diskusi, simulasi, dan praktik langsung, yang diikuti oleh 35 peserta perempuan dari berbagai latar belakang, mulai ibu rumah tangga, pustakawan, hingga mahasiswi. Tujuan pelatihan untuk mengembangkan usaha berbasis bahan lokal, pisang, menjadi produk kekinian yang bernilai jual tinggi. Hasil kegiatan menunjukkan adanya peningkatan kompetensi wirausaha bagi peserta sehingga membentuk komunitas wirausaha perempuan yang saling mendukung dan mendorong kemandirian ekonomi di tingkat rumah tangga. Rekomendasi tindak lanjut meliputi pendampingan berkelanjutan, akses pasar, jejaring wirausaha, replikasi program, serta pemantauan rutin untuk pengembangan usaha dan pemberdayaan perempuan.

Abstract

This research aims to analyze the influence of online communities and digital marketing on the desire to play and loyalty of users of the Mobile Legends online game in Surabaya. This research uses quantitative methods by collecting data through online questionnaires from 100 respondents who are members of the Mobile Legends community in Surabaya. The data analysis technique used is path analysis, as well as the Sobel test to test intervening variables. The results of this study indicate that online communities and digital marketing have a direct impact on user loyalty, but the desire to play does not mediate this relationship. Thus, digital marketing strategies and online community development can directly increase user loyalty without having to increase the desire to play

Abstract

Human Resources (HR) is one of the important factors that cannot be separated from an organization. The object of this research is PT Jawa Pos which is a print media company in Indonesia, competition in the printing world today requires commitment, communication and good work performance to help make advertising easier and more efficient. This study aims to determine the promotion of the role of commitment and communication and organization with work performance as an intervening variable in the advertising division of PT Jawa Pos Surabaya. The sampling technique in this study was a total of 80 employees. Data collection techniques using questionnaires. Data analysis uses data quality test, classical assumption test, hypothesis test, and path analysis. The results concluded that organizational commitment affects promotion in the Advertising Division of PT Jawa Pos Surabaya. Organizational commitment affects job performance in the Advertising Division of PT Jawa Pos Surabaya. Organizational commitment has no effect on promotion through job performance in the Advertising Division of PT. Jawa Pos Surabaya. Abstract

This study aims to determine the effect of Google Maps as a promotional media and product quality on purchasing decisions for MSME products Disablonin Sidoarjo. The type of research applied is explanatory research with a quantitative approach method. The population in this study are consumers of Disablonin and the sample used was 96 respondents. The sampling technique used is purposive sampling. The data collection technique is primary data through questionnaires distributed via link Google Form. Data analysis in this study used multiple linear regression analysis, all tests were carried out using tools SPSS 25.0. From the results of the F test it is known that the significant value is 0.000 which is smaller than the value alpha 5% or 0.05 then Ho is rejected and Ha is accepted. With this it can be concluded that Google Maps as a promotional media (X1) and product quality (X2) simultaneously influence purchasing decisions (Y).

Abstract

Perkembangan teknologi informasi yang pesat telah membawa dampak signifikan terhadap cara masyarakat, khususnya remaja, mengakses dan mengonsumsi informasi. Namun, kemudahan ini juga diiringi dengan maraknya penyebaran hoaks dan disinformasi yang dapat menyesatkan dan memecah belah masyarakat. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk membangun kesadaran masyarakat, terutama di kalangan remaja, mengenai bahaya hoaks dan pentingnya literasi media digital. Metode yang digunakan dalam kegiatan ini adalah sosialisasi melalui pendekatan partisipatif dengan media presentasi interaktif, diskusi kelompok, dan simulasi pengecekan fakta. Hasil dari kegiatan ini menunjukkan adanya peningkatan pemahaman remaja terhadap cara mengenali dan menangkal hoaks serta meningkatnya kemampuan kritis mereka dalam menyaring informasi digital. Literasi media digital menjadi kunci utama dalam membangun generasi muda yang tanggap, kritis, dan bertanggung jawab dalam menggunakan media digital.
