Abstract

The low level of progress in poverty alleviation in Indonesia is the responsibility of all elements of society. To achieve the realization of the success of the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) in 2030, it must be able to be realized. This is not limited to achieving rather than a target but also a need of each country. Through the collaboration of the National Amil Zakat Agency (BAZNAS) and Islamic Financial Institutions (IFI), it has great potential in realizing the goals of the SDGs to eradicate poverty. This type of research is qualitative with descriptive analysis. The results of the study show that Islamic financial institutions can function as potential partners of BAZNAS in providing a zakat collection platform that is easily accessible to the public. With the integration of Islamic financial services, such as internet banking and mobile banking, customers can easily distribute their zakat, infaq, and shadaqah through IFI.

Abstract

Industrial development in this advanced era can be said to be very rapid, one of which is the cosmetics industry. In fact, many people in this era view that cosmetics are no longer just an additional need, but rather a primary need. As time goes by, a beautiful, enchanting and attractive appearance is every individual's unlimited dream. Cosmetics themselves cannot be separated from a woman's daily life. Female students are one of the social groups most susceptible to the influence of fashion and lifestyle and are one of the largest consumers who use cosmetic products. This research is field research. Research data was obtained using observation, interviews and documentation methods. The data collected was then analyzed using the Islamization of consumption theory approach with descriptive analysis methods. The results obtained are that first, consumption behavior that occurs in terms of the concept of needs and desires is largely not limited by the concept of maslahah. Second, most of them have reflected the concept of goods and services that are limited to halal and have also seen it from the thayyib side, because the goods they buy do not cause harm or harm to them physically or mentally. Third, most of them put cosmetics as part of their hajjiyat needs. Most of them still have a goal limited to satisfaction of use value (utility), but are not yet limited to the concept of maslahah, but there is a small portion of students who view that apart from the benefits they get, they intend this for worship. They see that by taking good and healthy care of their skin, it means they intend to maintain facial cleanliness, which is part of their faith.

Abstract

Collecting zakah funds through conventional banks is vulnerable to elements of usury. Whereas, Islamic legal norms have strictly regulated that all assets must be protected from the element of usury, including Zakah funds. This research analyzes the collection of zakah funds by zakah fund collection institutions which is carried out by giving muzaki (zakah givers) the option to transfer zakah funds using conventional bank accounts. This paper discusses two schemes,i.e: first, the mechanism for collecting zakah funds through conventional bank accounts; second, analyzing the collection of zakah funds from the perspective of Muamalah Fiqh, namely using the Tabarru agreement. The research method uses empirical juridical with a qualitative approach.  The results show,  the mechanism for collecting zakah funds through conventional bank accounts is that muzakki are given the option to transfer zakah funds to a conventional bank account or sharia bank,  which is owned by the institution collecting zakah funds; then the institution collecting zakah funds separates the bank interest from conventional banks for the public needs, such as building roads, public toilets, bridges, etc; and finally distributing it to Mustahiq. According to Fiqh Muamalah, the factors that cause a transaction to be haram are haram because of its substance, haram in addition to its substance and the cancellation of the contract. Meanwhile, the permissibility of a haram transaction must be channelled for social benefit, because this action is better than entrusting non-halal funds to a Sharia Bank.

Beyond its function as a place of worship, the mosque can also serve as a centre for managing philanthropic funds to support economic welfare. This study aims to examine how economical support activities from mosque-managed funds, such as zakat, infaq, and shodaqoh, contribute to socioeconomic development and poverty alleviation. Using a qualitative descriptive method, the findings reveal that fund distribution, either institutional or individual, has adapted to technological advancements, including such a program at Al-Falah Grand Mosque, Sragen, Indonesia, to distribute rice weekly to local beneficiaries using a card-based ATM system.
